Honestly growing tired of seeing people add so many caveats and disclaimers when they express that they enjoyed S2. I've seen countless "I know X could have been better," and "I know Y was a bit hit or miss" and "sure, we needed more Z" comments all over the place.

Who the fuck cares. And since when does something need to be absolutely 100% perfect in order to love it?

I loved season 2. It was a beautiful season of television. I got to see my favorite characters in new situations. I laughed, I cried, I gasped, I marveled. It made me think and dream and imagine. It expanded on the story in rich and unexpected ways. It gave me so much new content to chew on, and also made me excited about what still is to come.

Seriously. Just loved it, and I can't wait to do approximately eleventy billion rewatches so I can love it even more.

i can acknowledge i misread some things but at the same time i don’t really think suetsugu disproved a lot about what i theorized if i am being honest lmao like i still don’t think chihaya ever perceived the situation as a love triangle herself i still do think she was in love with arata when she rejected taichi and her feelings simply happened to change afterward given the way the trio’s positions relative to each other changed and i truly believe what suetsugu did was portray chihaya’s romances with arata and taichi as separate if thematically connected moments in time that reflected how she was growing as a person and moving through life and that the endgame is not an actual endgame bc there’s no such thing as an endgame in youth. life goes on we move forward we change we grow and we can do nothing but embrace the moment bc it’s beautiful. i know i have said some variation of that several times over recently to the point of redundancy but i really do not think suetsugu could have hammered it in any harder like the arguments on either side of the ship war are funny to me.. none of you are safe! revel in it
