I had a couple people read the tarot spreads from the 7IoSP event last night and it all seems to be about Nihils feelings and relationship with Seestor, his issues with being a man slut, and his inability to move on from her.

I love the level of detail they put into this because there wasn't anyway those tarot spreads had 0 meaning and were just randomized.

“ Kiss The Go-Goat”

Both women have completely white eyes and are wearing 60’s like clothing One of them is in a green light and is a black woman rocking her hair in an Afro and right next to her is a pentagram light that’s hanging from a ceiling. On the left side of the previous woman is a Caucasian appearing woman with purple hair with a streak of white in it, in a updo sorts. Her outfit is much more revealing and has more obvious satanic themes on her thigh high socks and dress sleeves, and she is in a purple light. All around them is a red light with bokeh lights all around as well, everyone seems to be enjoying themselves]

My small story on this piece: Okay, I don’t like this one all that much, it was a better idea in my head and when I presented it I realised I liked it less and less. We the ghesties all know who papa nihl is so I won’t go into detail about him so I’ll just briefly explain the two girls. In the purple light is Arcane, the leader of the coven and a high ranking member of the church dating back actual centuries, next to her is her right hand Onyx, who’s been the 2nd longest coven member. Both of them being witches and immortal they decided to fuck around and have fun in the 60’s and help the ghost project. I HC that they are the backing female vocals for 7IOSP, so as a starter piece I just wanted to draw them having fun in the 60’s/70’s.

My criticism: composition could’ve been better, lighting could’ve been better and I shouldn’t have rushed it so much, this piece and my next piece are my weakest ones compositionally, I should’ve put more effort in on Nihl. I feel like it didn’t tell much of a story element like it was supposed to, line art could be better and I wish Arcanes foot didn’t look like that either😭 final rating 4/10.

I'm back suddenly with two consecutive posts. In the meantime, I've updated the shop, and now there's the mini-collection from 7iosp (the stickers are really cute, but I also like the tote bags). I'll leave the links below.

I'd like to add that I would also love to create a mini-collection for "Infestissumam" since it's my favorite album. However, for now, I'm focusing on finishing other ongoing projects (such as the two Pope prints, the Sisters of sin badges, and an illustration based on fanfiction).

I believe in one of the 100500 interviews I've watched in the span of 3 days, Tobias mentioned he'd become more claustrophobic with age and that if there are any practical changes to Ghost's image it's probably because of that

and that we won't necessarily get any New characters in the usual sense any time soon

and I might be reaching but what if

what if after Copia's inevitable demise he ditched the mask to portray young Nihil as the new Ghost front man, with just face paint, and give us a full album 60's/70's inspired songs, like 7IOSP

-literally went from “im just a fan of the songs and know a lil bit of papa lore” to “i can recognise the ghouls by their mask patches with 85% accuracy” in the span of a month

i don't care if it's just two songs. those two songs absolutely fuck.

and you know what? my favorite song is ktg. i'm tired of people going on about moac and pretending like ktg is not the best song the band ever fucking made. it's much more fun and witty than a song about sucking dick (ironically, my name is mary, so you'd think i'd have a different bias, but nope). it also hits me right in the fucking daddy issues, so there's that.

as for repugnant, as you can guess from my other name, it's hungry are the damned (my main's url, nosferatu-inside-of-me is a reference to that song!!), but i love the chorus of eating from a coffin a lot, too.
