Shri Venkateshwara University commemorated the World Environment Day with a Grand Plantation Drive & Environment Awareness Rally.
Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI Meerut commemorated the World Environment Day with a Grand Plantation Drive & Environment Awareness Rally.
Along with the UP Forest Department, we hosted a seminar wherein the speakers appealed to plant more trees and make India polythene free.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Senior IFS Officer Mr SP Singh, & the Forest Department Senior Police Officer Mr. Amit Rathi inaugurated the event by offering flowers to Goddess Saraswati.
In collaboration with the UP Forest department, the Venkateshwara Group planted over 5000 plants in both the campuses & the national highway & pledged to protect & promote them.
These included Banyan, Parijat, Tulsi, Gooseberry, Neem, Jamun, Rudraksh and many types of plants.
On this occasion, we felicitated over a dozen constables, forest guards, rangers, DFOs, & Inspectors by presenting them a shawl & memento.
The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, reiterated it’s a wonderful coincidence that today is the birthday of our honourable CM, Mr. Yogi Adityanath.
To achieve PM’s mission of a clean India Green India, we should make it a habit to present plants on social occasions such as marriage & anniversary. This way we play our part in nation development.
Senior IFS Mr. SP Singh asserted the Venkateshwara Group is renowned for offering quality education & its social obligations. In this context, the UP forest department has aligned with Venkateshwara Group and planted over 5000 trees to improve the environment.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi announced we can reduce global warming & pollution by planting more & more trees.
Those present included the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr CP Kushwaha, Dr Vivek Sachan, Dr Yogeshwar Sharma, Dr SN Sahu, Dr Ram Kumar, Dr Anil Jaiswal, & Dr S Baghel.

Shri Venkateshwara University/Institute hosted the BJP workers’ regional conference/felicitation ceremony along with the Developed India Resolution campaign 2047.
All leaders showed solidarity in the leadership of honorable PM & vowed to make India a developed nation & a world leader by 2047.
Youth power and the expertise of experienced workers will help make India a developed nation by 2047.
The Chief Guest & UP west head Mr Satendra Sisodiya, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Western U.P. in charge & GS Mr Subhash Yaduvanshi & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi inaugurated the event by offering flowers on the portrait of Deen Dayal Upadhyay & Shyama Prasad Mukherjee.
The District Head Mr. Uday Giri & the BJYM President Mr. Shubham Chaudhary joined them to unveil the Developed India Resolution campaign 2047 & the workers’ felicitation ceremony.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi along with the District Head Mr. Uday Giri gifted a Ram Temple, Shawl, memento, & a turban to the esteemed guests.
In his address, the Chief Guest, Mr Satendra Sisodiya, affirmed the worker is the backbone of any party. BJP is the largest party in the world through the collective strength of its workers.
Hence, honoring the grass root worker is vital for the growth of the organization. He stated every citizen should rise above caste, class, religion & contribute their part to make India a developed nation by 2047. Only then India will once again become a world leader.
Dr. Sudhir Giri, the Group Chairman, reiterated that India is now the fastest growing economy in the world, thanks to the charismatic leadership of the honorable PM and significant advancements in education, medicine, health, and infrastructure.
The Loksabha Incharge, Mr. Satyapal Singh Pal, asserted worker is vital for the growth of any party or organization. Hence it’s crucial to honour their efforts & commitment for the party.
The teacher MLA Mr. Hari Singh Dhillon, MLA Rajiv Tarara, MLA Mahendra Khadakvanshi, MLC Satyapal Saini, former MP Mr. Kanwar Singh Tanwar, & MLA Mr. Kamal Malik also addressed the workers conference.

Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI launched the free career counselling & inspirational scheme ‘Nai Disha’ on lines with the honourable PM Praiksha Pe Charche initiative aimed at relieving examination fear & celebrating them like a festival.
SVU will carry out career counselling programs at the various schools of western UP to motivate students to perform well & relieve examination stress.
Under the scheme, the career counselors & educationists of the university will motivate the board examinees & guide them about the various courses based on their interest & aptitude.
Saraswati Vidya Mandir is the first institution where the career counselling took place.
The BJP State VP Mr Satpal Saini, motivational speaker Dr Rajiv Tyagi, Mahendra Khandwanshi, and Mr. Rajiv Tarara, inaugurated the Nai Disha initiative by offering flowers on the portrait of Goddess Saraswati.
The Program Coordinator Mr Abhinav Kaushik, & the assistant Coordinator Mr Shubham Chaudhary assisted them in inaugurating the event.
Dr Sudhir Giri Chairman Venkateshwara Group reiterated that the honorable PM’s Pariksha Pe Charcha program will prove to be a milestone in providing youth a stable career & making India self sufficient .

Shri Venkateshwara University organized a seminar on organ donation to celebrate the World Pharmacist's day.
Shri Venkateshwara University and VGI Meerut organized a seminar on organ donation and a mega blood donation camp to celebrate the World Pharmacist's day.
To educate people about organ donation, we conducted an awareness rally on the campus.
The Pharmacy faculty members, staff, and students donated blood voluntarily. They collected 142 units of blood and pledged to save lives by donating blood.
DR VPS Arora, renowned Scientist & Chief Advisor to the Chairman, vowed to donate his organs after death. Dr VPS Arora, who was a colleague of former President Dr Abdul Kalam, has already pledged to donate his eyes after death.
The Group Chairman, Dr Sudhir Giri, Chief Advisor DR VPS Arora, & the Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
The VC Dr Rakesh Yadav & the Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey joined them to inaugurate the organ donation seminar & the mega blood donation camp.
In his address, the Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated organ/body donation is the biggest donation in the world. By donating organs, you not only give a new lease of life to the recipient but also become immortal. He commended Dr VPS Arora’s pledge to donate his organ/body & exhorted the masses to come forward for such a noble cause.
The Pro Chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi affirmed its better to donate organs after death so that the needy gets a reason to smile. There is no point wasting them after death.
The CEO Mr. Ajay Shrivastava, VC Dr Rakesh Yadav, Registrar Dr Piyush Pandey & the Meerut Campus Director Dr Pratap Singh also addressed the event.

INDIA’S FIRST VIRTUAL EDUCATION CONCLAVE. The future belongs to those who believe in the beauty of their dreams -Eleanor Roosevelt. Ambition- driven people are plenty, but majority of them don’t know how to reach their destination or their higher dreams. Which route to follow? How to navigate their career amidst various hurdles and obstructions? Keeping in mind the above questions and also the extraordinary times ,Webinar Wall hosted the career counselling sessions on a virtual mode with a unique platform. You imagined it, we invented it, giving you a virtual experience at a grand level. Hosting a virtual event requires same energy, synchronisation and efforts as in person event. Yes, we can say that there is no venues but one of a kind in nature. Virtual Education Conclave 2020 started with a bang of insightful sessions on 20th June 2020. How education is changing with the extraordinary times of covid-19? Is virtual education as good as offline education? Was answered and explained by School principals, the strategies they are using to rule out and minimise the gap between online vs offline teaching. Attendees witnessed a great chance to interact with the most notable and best speakers from the different fields. For a two day virtual event we covered various topics for the students such as “Which career options will bloom post-covid -19? How to re-invent and gear up and stay ahead of others? How important is to know about various fields in career and make a decision? Above, questions were answered by the speakers Paresh Gupta(TEDx speaker, Founder and CEO of GCEC), Abhishek Gupta(Times Education Icon, Career Coach & Founder-INACE.ORG) and Kaustubh Dhargalkar(Visiting faculty at IIT-Bombay, IIM-S,NMIMS,ICT-MUMBAI) and moderator Anmol Garg( Founder Sales5x,Sales Guru). The rapid panel ended with a lot of discussions on how to be ahead and especiallyit is technology that will be in the frame of business for a long time. Jimmy Mistry(Chairman & MD Of Della Group) and Abhay Gupta(CEO and Founder of Luxury Connect) shed light on the question “What is Luxury Management” ? How luxury is impacted by covid-19? Attendees got a view how luxury is managed and how does luxury mean to the different segments of society, Moderator Urvashi Nanda (London School of Economics and Political Science) pointed out question such as What is Luxury ? which was replied as “Luxury is ordinary for the rich and extraordinary for the non-rich.” Next session witnessed an overwhelming response by the audience which was “ How to apply for universities out of India?”and Impact of internationalization on the career ? Shrestha Khetan(Co-Founder UniRely) brought out the best universities and options for students to apply for universities in different countries, whereas Professor Javier Gonzalez Nunez(CEO of Tonic Teaching) spoke about how career is changing overseas. How to upgrade your skills through e-learning? was the most wanting session, as the current times forced us to upgrade our skills through the various learning platforms, via sitting comfortably in our homes. Karan Shah(Founder & Director at IIDE) and Harish C. Rijhwani( Author, Healthcare IT Professional) discussed how the future is digital based, how technology will be putting in a different realm. Your network is your networth , listening to the podcasts before sleeping increases the comprehending and soft skills were the takeaways for the students. Moderator Simran Sohal( Pursuing Economics at SRCC) contributed to the interactive sessions by asking the most insightful questions to the speakers , in return students were highly motivated after the session “ Career opportunities in Commerce”, by Tushar Saini(Partner at Neos Angels) and Anant Ladha(CA,CFA,CFP,LLB, Financial Advisor) MIT University and its professing team brought forward many career options in government administration and social sciences in a panel discussion encouraging students to stand out and make a career and secure it. Plan your IIM-Way with Hemant Gaule(Co-Founder at SCoRE, IIM-A) , Isha Nisar(Pursuing MBA at IIM-A) and Sambhav Chopra(IIM-A ,CA,CS) was an interesting session. Planning, practicing, and organizing oneself with knowledge and tricks to solve questions , taking regular mock tests to know where do you stand ? was necessary and important to crack CAT Examinations. Advocate Smeeksha Pandey(Legal practitioner at Delhi High Court and Supreme court) made the audience aware on How to prepare for LLM entrances? The question paper pattern and the opportunities were discussed by her in field of law. Moderator Siddhant Shah(Jitendra Chauhan College of Law.) gathered many experiences from Vivek Narayan Sharma( Ex-Joint Secretary,Supreme Court) . How the career in law is revolving in the society and also who can opt and make a successful career out of it. Design as a career option was explained by Speaker Alex Velasco( Dean at Pearl Academy) and Moderator Alka, importance of making a portfolio to showcase your work is a good way to stay ahead, Dos and Don’ts while making a platform, bringing in new opportunities, also how Pearl Academy has been producing the best of designers and giving them reliable internships and experiences. Rishiraj Singh Rathore (IIM-A,IIT Bombay, Analyst at an Investment Bank) explained the strategies to crack IIT, How to align passion with career was discussed by Avelo Roy(MD at Kolkata Ventures) and last not the least Arun Pareek explained the linking of education to entrepreneurship. In a nutshell, VEC 2020 was a two day event, simultaneously running keynote sessions by the speakers and the exhibitions from different representatives at a single platform. Stay tuned. Stay engaged.

Shri Venkateshwara University Gajraula organized a seminar on Generic VS Innovators Drugs Perspective.
Shri Venkateshwara University/VGI in collaboration with renowned institution Jamia Hamdard University organized a seminar on ‘Generic Versus Innovative Drugs.
Dr Suruchi Singh Dean of Jamia Hamdard labelled the generic drugs as a blessing for the poor & rated their quality equivalent to branded drugs.
On this occasion, the students of the University school of Pharmacy highlighted the role of generic drugs in curing diseases by making posters on the theme of drugs & diseases.
The Group Chairman Dr Sudhir Giri, Pro-chancellor Dr Rajiv Tyagi, and the Chief Guest Dr Suruchi Singh, inaugurated the seminar by lighting a lamp to Goddess Saraswati.
In her address, Dr Suruchi Singh stressed that through the Healthy India- Prosperous India & the Ayushman Bharat Scheme, the poor are availing free of cost medical services in the country.
The generic drugs are not only 10 times cheaper but are equivalent in quality to the branded medicines.
She appealed the Private Doctors to prescribe Generic Drugs like those of their Government counterparts.
Dr Sudhir Giri reiterated that the honorable PM has introduced over 100 quality generic drugs & through Ayushman Bharat, the poorest of the poor are availing free of cost medical services.
Dr Rajiv Tyagi announced that, through Quality based R & D, we will develop the Venkateshwara School of Pharmacy into a Centre of Excellence.
Dr Piyush Pandey, Dr Rajesh Singh, Dean of Pharmacy Dr Umesh Kumar & Dr Santosh Singh also addressed the Pharmacy seminar.
