Remenber that time you were told that that there wasn't any kind of quirk suppressing technology in bnha even though you were very sure there was? That was funny.

Honestly the story just presented itself that way, it wasn't my fault. When they arrested Muscle it did look like that thing should be able to suppress his quirk, otherwise I don't think it could've withstood his power

i dont really like the intense hatred towards GT that the fandom started to have at this point. i can see why people wouldnt like him personally, but this is where you started to see his character tags on tumblr and twitter filled with people just wishing this character would die, which was extremely annoying. yes, of course shigaraki's existance as afo's successor is an open wound for him, to know that his dear friend's kin who she wished to live happily didn't get to, and that he has hurted so many people- tomura is a spit in the face of everything his grandmother stood for and tried to achieve. hell, shigaraki JUST killed a ton of people with ease with his upgraded quirk, of COURSE gran torino absolutely hates his guts, but too many people borderline woobify shigaraki instead of adressing that, as interesting as a character as he is, he is ultimately a very bad guy.

Now that's a bit excessive of the fanbase, but honestly, can't say I am surprised for the media illiteracy

It misses the mark that although Shigaraki is, at the very bottom, still a victim, he also needs to be stopped no matter what, because he is killing and will kill as many people as he can. The idea that you should feel sorry for him does not absolve him of the harm he has done

Twice, Toga, Totally-not-a-todoroki Dabi, they all are victims as well, they all were hurt immensely, but they are hurting innocent people, and they need to be stopped. That's part of what makes them interesting, they are not "evil for evil's sake" but there's no denying that they need to be stopped

So, can't say I am surprised about this, but still, I continue to be disappointed

Power-wise I categorize mha characters in 5 classes: Civilian class: no may have power, but no formal training or experience (Inko, Mitsuki, Fuyumi etc). Goon class: has experience using their quirk, but is untrained (most unnamed enemies). Pro Class: Experienced and trained with their quirk and a mind quick in battle (Fat Gum, Eraserhead). Top Class, is the class for people on the level of the top heroes (Endeavor, Mirko, Hawks) and above them is what I call Titan Class (All Might, AFO, Shigi)

I like this, but I think we need an Apollyon class above titan, because honestly, Shigaraki and Machia would be a titan class, but All Might and AfO at their primes were waaaay above them, it would be like comparing the Tsar Bomb to the asteroid that killed the dinosaurs

Sure, both are calamities, but one is magnitudes above the other
