#idk if dkny is discontinuing the be extra delicious perfume but I snagged 2 bottles that are $96 each for $20 each #as far as I know we removed it from the shelf but idk why #but I’m just glad it smells better then I remembered when I smelled it last year #then again I smelled it at work when people would come in and spray the shit out of everything so it smelled unbearable there #but when I left and sprayed it again I nutted #the caramel in it is speaking to my soul until like prada candy #so if you liked something sweet and a lil fruity and gourmand ya might like this

DKNY be delicious was my fav perfume in 2010 which was my sophomore year.. both freshman and junior year i wore clinique happy. and then senior year it was issey miyake l'eau d'issey. once i graduated i wore armani acqua di gioia to work every day and then d&g light blue... ck one... all antidepressant scents to me

wondering if u have any clean, citrusy (leaning either sweeter like mandarin or herby like bergamot), musky fragrance recommendations? particularly with notes of pear, apple, and/or fig?

my immediate thought is the aqua allegoria line from guerlain :3theyre all light citrusy herbacious watercolor washes of fragrance all very nice and pretty! obv i have not tried all of them there are quite a few. but pera granita especially seems up your alley its a pear citrus frag..they obv also have mandrine baailic. and then the prada infusion line also has a great mandarin scent as well and they just released a fig one! it looks nice that whole collection is pretty excellent. apple is a bit harder… hm. it kindof has me stumped tbh. the only fragrance i know of that i really enjoy that had a prominent apple note is la danza de libellule by nobile 1942 but that is a very fluffy sweet vanilla apple whipped cream gourmand LOL. i feel like apple is kindof hardto find i a less sweet interpretation…theres always the classic dkny be delicious though.

first thing i gotta say is lol we a similar cheap girl hack. i will be that person and ask for a sample of the same perfume every single time i come in bc why spend mine when i can spend yours. and those sample bottles fit so well in my small bags. :) i also like to shove literal handfuls of the empty sample spray bottles (mostly found in the perfume department at Nordstroms) into my bag for my own personal use when i want to re up on my perfume through the day without having to buy travel sprays (if it’s even available)

my current faves: Drunk Saffron by BTSO and Lost Cherry by Tom Ford

those two are i would consider to be warm dark fruits of an overall gourmand variety. so very edible scents. and that would probably be the best description of the scents i go for now, but my god. good perfumes that match that description are exactly as hard to find as you can imagine. (also i have smelled very Lost Cherry dupe out there. and have directly compared them to LC. i always choose LC on scent alone. targets dupe is the only one worth the money imo)

id say the only thing that seems to be consistent in my perfume purchases are fruit notes. beyond that ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

but DKNYs Be Delicious is forever one of my favorites, my mom had it growing up and i loved it then and i still love it now. (which is what drew me to Zara’s applejuice). that is the most true fruit scent ive liked.

but i also have Black Tulip by NEST and that is a warm floral scent with dark fruits. that perfume BY FAR is my most complimented scent. especially by men. take that as you will.

I'm taking notes and btw that is also what drew me to Zara applejuice which was a blind buy for me 😋📝

my friend in middle school wore it. she lives in florida now. she started a rumor she was pregant so we would all think she’s having major sex all the time.. my mom took me and her to the sephora in the jcpenney in the closest mall an hour away and she put on be delicious and my mom said ohh that’s lovely and then my mom wore it for a good 6 years until she moved onto greener pastures .. or rather higher heels.. (carolina herrera good girl) she’s been begging for a new bottle of good girl, i dont even think she likes it but it’s the only scent she said she’s ever been complimented on

I still really love Marc Jacobs Lola (rip) it was my favorite in middle school tho I only had a little sample of it ... back then I also wore DKNY be delicious which is the most unbelievably tart green apple scent, like enough to make your mouth taste sour when you smell it, incredible... The Prada Candy line is very dear to me, right now I wear Candy Kiss but I love the og just as much.. I know it's basic but Glossier You is Soo pleasant and wearable and I've gone through several bottles at this point :o
