So, I'm writing a fic (and you know that writing is mostly just staring at a blank cursor, rereading, googling random things for context and actually very less writing than intended)

I found something I couldn't Google. So I have to come up with a few antagonists in the story, and I wanted to them to be maybe some of the most hated people in the Harry/Larry Fandom. Totally something you can't Google. Please help me out with a list! If you can't and you've still read this, thank you.

Huh… most hated.

I suppose everyone will have a slightly different take on this, but I’d say most people hate anyone from Modest!Management, Simon Cowell, Dan Wootton, Simon Jones, Ben Winston, many of the beards but Olivia is probably the one that was most universally hated although back in the day I would have said Swiftie and Eleanor, Briana Jungwirth, Cousin Ashley, Tami and Brett Clark, Rob Stringer, James Corden (funny how he was once so loved in this fandom).

Some people don’t like Nick Grimshaw, and he’s occasionally the bad guy in fics. But just as many write him as Harry’s friend or as a romantic partner for H or L. A lot of people hate Ellen Degeneres and Jimmy Kimmel for the way they treated the boys on their talk shows. And then there’s the crowd who hates Jeff and Irving Azoff.

That’s all I can think of at the moment. But I hope that helps! 💙

louis isn’t stupid. he’s careful and makes deliberate choices even if the reasons for those choices aren’t always revealed to us. so it perplexes me sometimes as to why he would choose to work with such an incompetent team - one that seems be oblivious at the best of times and to actively work against him at the worst of times…

i don’t know if it’s a personal thing to him where he feels like it’s cheating or that he’s not working hard enough etc but it’s like.. he knows what he’s doing and was smart enough to know that leaving syco (and announcing it) was the right move to make. why work with these people? …maybe it’s like a keep your enemies closer situation?

This is a question that perpetually puzzles even the smartest, most knowledgeable people in the fandom. Some theories:

1. The devil you know is better than the devil you don’t know. Chris Frewin is ex-Syco. He is familiar with 1D marketing. Supposedly he knows some of the datapoints about the 1D demographic. Even someone as obtuse as Chris can connect the dots and make it work. Simon Jones also has 1D history under his belt.

2. Louis can’t fire Simon Jones. For whatever reason. That reason does not include a talent for marketing. What does Simon Jones have on Louis? What does he know? What is the sword he has hanging over Louis, when Jones has been the worst possible PR man for Louis for the past 10 years? Jones hasn’t gotten one good interview from BBC News. What does Jones’ buddy, Dan Wootton, know?

3. [Caveat emptor, the following is not what I believe—>] Sony is still controlling whom Louis — and the other 1D guys — can work with. In this scenario, Sony calls the shots and dictates their access to the entertainment industry’s nodes of entry. There is a masterplan to the level of success each man is allowed to have, a hierarchy, and it’s Harry Styles, Harry Styles, Harry Styles until Rob Stringer’s dead.

4. Louis’ ass is too loyal. He makes up his mind and doesn’t budge. Unless someone does something unforgivable (Jordan Green), once they’re onboard, they stay.

5. It’s not Matt Vines’ fault. In some ways, this is true. Louis is Matt’s biggest client, and Louis brings seven7 the big bucks. But the fact that Louis IS MATT’S BIGGEST CLIENT is a problem. It means that Matt Vines doesn’t have much of a hand to play against Louis’ blacklist. He doesn’t have a deep roster of big artists to offer to (or to withhold from) radio stations, or magazines, or newspapers, or TV shows in exchange for their having Louis. Louis has to go it alone. Until Matt Vines signs acts of significant earning power, there’s not much of a bargaining chip. Remember when Matt Vines followed Jeff Azoff on Instagram — Dec 2018? That’s an interesting story, I bet. I don’t think it was a pretty one.

Quand pourrons-nous le voir en salle ? Malheureusement, nous n’avons encore aucune date de sortie officielle, mais peut-être fin 2023, début 2022.

Kandahar, le film sera là ! Le film Kandahar est sorti le mercredi 2 septembre 2023. Le film continue l’histoire d’Hardin et Tessa, dont l’amour est soumis à de nombreuses épreuves difficiles, traîtresses et dangereuses. Ces deux amoureux auront-ils une fin heureuse ? En attendant de savoir si le film a été acclamé par les fans, il y a de bonnes nouvelles : Kandahar va sortir ! Cela a été confirmé le 3 septembre 2023 par les deux stars de la série dans une vidéo postée sur le profil Instagram officiel d’Kandahar. Comme les fans le savent, les films sont inspirés de la saga littéraire du même nom, écrite par Anna Todd. La série Kandahar est composé de 4 livres.

L’intrigue du film Kandahar L’amour d’Hardin et Tessa est encore une fois mis à l’épreuve. Ces deux adolescents vont devoir affronter leur passé. Tessa rencontre son père après des années et décide de le prendre en charge après avoir découvert qu’il était devenu sans abri. Hardin accepte de l’héberger mais ne fait pas confiance à cet homme, convaincu qu’il cache une partie de la vérité. Mais ce n’est pas le seul obstacle. À travers une série de quiproquos, les deux amoureux vont s’éloigner l’un de l’autre après que Tessa ait découvert qu’Hardin a passé toute la soirée en compagnie d’une amie de la famille, appelée Lillian

Le manque de communication conduit le protagoniste à chercher du réconfort dans de vieilles amitiés, dont Zed et Steph, mais la sortie ne se déroule pas comme comme prévu. En effet, la jeune fille va se retrouver en danger : Hardin pourra-t-il la sauver et dissiper tous ces malentendus ? Concernant l’intrigue du film, Castille Landon, le réalisateur d’Kandahar nous assure qu’il sera fidèle au roman du même nom.

Le casting du film Kandahar : qui sera là ? Nous verrons probablement le retour de deux personnages principaux : Héro Fiennes-Tiffin et Josephine Langford, comme Hardin et Tessa, Kandaharivement. Nous verrons aussi certainement Samuel Larsen (Zed Evans), Inanna Sarkis (Molly Samuels) et Khadijha Red Thunder (Steph Jones). Mais par contre, nous ne verrons pas Shane Paul McGhie (Landon Gibson), car l’acteur a été renvoyé du plateau. Dylan Sprouse, dont le rôle est Trevor ne revient pas non plus.

Mais il y a aussi une nouvelle de dernière minute : d’autres acteurs ne reviendront pas dans le troisième film, d’où la nécessité d’un renouvellement. Déjà dans Kandahar 2, on se rend compte que le père d’Hardin n’est plus joué par Peter Gallagher (Andy Cohen pourquoi es-tu parti ?) mais par Rob Estes et que la mère de Landon n’est plus jouée par Jennifer Beals mais par Karimah Westbrook. Nous verrons également beaucoup de changements dans Kandahar. En commençant par Candice King et Charlie Weber : les deux acteurs ne seront plus Kim et Christian Vance.

L’actrice que nous avons appris à aimer dans The Vampire Diaries comme Caroline est enceinte de son deuxième enfant ! Sa grossesse l’empêche donc de retourner sur le plateau pour filmer Kandahar. Candice sera remplacée par Arielle Kebbel que nous avons déjà vu dans The Vampire Diaries: : Il s’agit de Lexi, le meilleur ami de Stefan ! Charlie sera remplacé par Stephen Moyer. Aussi Selma Blair, qui joue la mère de Tessa, est remplacée par Mira Sorvino. En plus de toutes ces modifications, il y a aussi une nouvelle arrivée : Carter Jenkins, qui jouera Robert, le potentiel amoureux de Tessa.

La raison de tous ces changements est que le fait de tourner deux films ensemble empêche aussi certains des acteurs principaux de participer à d’autres engagements professionnels ou autres.

Sortie du film Kandahar : Date de sortie? La suite d’Kandahar, a été confirmé un mois après la sortie du premier film au cinéma. Le 19 mai 2023, Kandahar 2 avait été confirmé. Quand pourrons-nous le voir en salle ? Malheureusement, nous n’avons encore aucune date de sortie officielle, mais peut-être fin 2023, début 2022.

Kandahar, le film sera là ! Le film Kandahar est sorti le mercredi 2 septembre 2023. Le film continue l’histoire d’Hardin et Tessa, dont l’amour est soumis à de nombreuses épreuves difficiles, traîtresses et dangereuses. Ces deux amoureux auront-ils une fin heureuse ? En attendant de savoir si le film a été acclamé par les fans, il y a de bonnes nouvelles : Kandahar va sortir ! Cela a été confirmé le 3 septembre 2023 par les deux stars de la série dans une vidéo postée sur le profil Instagram officiel d’Kandahar. Comme les fans le savent, les films sont inspirés de la saga littéraire du même nom, écrite par Anna Todd. La série Kandahar est composé de 4 livres.

L’intrigue du film Kandahar L’amour d’Hardin et Tessa est encore une fois mis à l’épreuve. Ces deux adolescents vont devoir affronter leur passé. Tessa rencontre son père après des années et décide de le prendre en charge après avoir découvert qu’il était devenu sans abri. Hardin accepte de l’héberger mais ne fait pas confiance à cet homme, convaincu qu’il cache une partie de la vérité. Mais ce n’est pas le seul obstacle. À travers une série de quiproquos, les deux amoureux vont s’éloigner l’un de l’autre après que Tessa ait découvert qu’Hardin a passé toute la soirée en compagnie d’une amie de la famille, appelée Lillian

Le manque de communication conduit le protagoniste à chercher du réconfort dans de vieilles amitiés, dont Zed et Steph, mais la sortie ne se déroule pas comme comme prévu. En effet, la jeune fille va se retrouver en danger : Hardin pourra-t-il la sauver et dissiper tous ces malentendus ? Concernant l’intrigue du film, Castille Landon, le réalisateur d’Kandahar nous assure qu’il sera fidèle au roman du même nom.

Le casting du film Kandahar : qui sera là ? Nous verrons probablement le retour de deux personnages principaux : Héro Fiennes-Tiffin et Josephine Langford, comme Hardin et Tessa, Kandaharivement. Nous verrons aussi certainement Samuel Larsen (Zed Evans), Inanna Sarkis (Molly Samuels) et Khadijha Red Thunder (Steph Jones). Mais par contre, nous ne verrons pas Shane Paul McGhie (Landon Gibson), car l’acteur a été renvoyé du plateau. Dylan Sprouse, dont le rôle est Trevor ne revient pas non plus.

Mais il y a aussi une nouvelle de dernière minute : d’autres acteurs ne reviendront pas dans le troisième film, d’où la nécessité d’un renouvellement. Déjà dans Kandahar 2, on se rend compte que le père d’Hardin n’est plus joué par Peter Gallagher (Andy Cohen pourquoi es-tu parti ?) mais par Rob Estes et que la mère de Landon n’est plus jouée par Jennifer Beals mais par Karimah Westbrook. Nous verrons également beaucoup de changements dans Kandahar. En commençant par Candice King et Charlie Weber : les deux acteurs ne seront plus Kim et Christian Vance.

L’actrice que nous avons appris à aimer dans The Vampire Diaries comme Caroline est enceinte de son deuxième enfant ! Sa grossesse l’empêche donc de retourner sur le plateau pour filmer Kandahar. Candice sera remplacée par Arielle Kebbel que nous avons déjà vu dans The Vampire Diaries: : Il s’agit de Lexi, le meilleur ami de Stefan ! Charlie sera remplacé par Stephen Moyer. Aussi Selma Blair, qui joue la mère de Tessa, est remplacée par Mira Sorvino. En plus de toutes ces modifications, il y a aussi une nouvelle arrivée : Carter Jenkins, qui jouera Robert, le potentiel amoureux de Tessa.

La raison de tous ces changements est que le fait de tourner deux films ensemble empêche aussi certains des acteurs principaux de participer à d’autres engagements professionnels ou autres.

Happy Birthday Scottish actress Shirley Henderson.

Shirley was born 24th November 1965 in Forres, Moray, but grew up in Kincardine, Fife, she began performing young and at the age of 13 found herself singing in a boxing ring between bouts after winning a local singing competition going on to sing in the local working men’s clubs on Saturday nights and Sunday afternoons.

After deciding upon acting as a career, she uprooted to London to study at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama.

After graduating in 1986 Henderson embarked upon a stage career that included spells at the National Theatre, the Royal Court, the Traverse, Hampstead, the Citizens, and the Whitehall Theatre.

Shirley is very fresh in my mind, I have just finished watching Hamish Macbeth where she played Isobel Sutherland, who was head over heels in Robert Carlyles character, though he didn’t know it, she bowed out in the penultimate episode.

There are very different roles that you might remember Shirley from, in my case she played Gail in the two Trainspotting films, if you need another reminder who she was, well remember Spud’s girlfriend and the incident with “dirty” bedding that he wanted to was and got into a tugging contest?

Other film fans will know Shirley as Moaning Myrtle in a couple of the Harry Potter films.  Romcom fans will know her for her role as Jude in Bridget Jones’s Diary  who is always in the ladies’ room crying about her boyfriend.

She has of course been in numerous other shows and films including Wish Me Luck, Casualty, The Bill, Rob Roy, Dr Who, Once Upon a Time in the Midlands, Happy Valley and more recently she plays Lucille Hardy, wife of Oliver in a new film out in January about the comedy duo, called Stan and Ollie.

Most recently Shirley appeared in The Nest about a teenage girl in Glasgow agrees to carry a baby for couple Dan and Emily, Martin Compston plays the lead role, it also starred Katie Leung who was in the Harry Potter films with her.

Shirley reprised her role as Saucy Nancy in the Worzel Gummidge reboot last year 

There’s a few things in the pipeline for Shirley,  The Trouble with Jessica a dark comedy film,   The ITV four-part drama, a reimagining of the 18th century book The History Of Tom Jones and   an upcoming American mystery film, See How They Run, which also stars Irish actress Saoirse Ronan, who you might recall was Mary Queen of Scots in the 2018 film.

NOTES: Two days before the show closed on Broadway. Good amount of closeups and good quality filmed from the mid-mezzanine; there is a railing issue for a while in Act 1 but the taper improves. 'Me', 'Gaston' and 'Be Our Guest' are all predominantly missing and recording stopped for some time after 'Gaston', which created a little jump in the timeline to where Maurice gets thrown out of the tavern. Still a nice video with great closeups of the last Broadway cast.

Sortie du film  Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage : Date de sortie? La suite d’After, a été confirmé un mois après la sortie du premier film au cinéma. Le 19 mai 2019, After 2 avait été confirmé.  Quand pourrons-nous le voir en salle ? Malheureusement, nous n’avons encore aucune date de sortie officielle, mais peut-être fin 2021, début 2022.

Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage, le film sera là ! Le film After est sorti le mercredi 2 septembre 2021. Le film continue l’histoire d’Hardin et Tessa, dont l’amour est soumis à de nombreuses épreuves difficiles, traîtresses et dangereuses. Ces deux amoureux auront-ils une fin heureuse ? En attendant de savoir si le film a été acclamé par les fans, il y a de bonnes nouvelles :  Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage va sortir ! Cela a été confirmé le 3 septembre 2021 par les deux stars de la série dans une vidéo postée sur le profil Instagram officiel d’After. Comme les fans le savent, les films sont inspirés de la saga littéraire du même nom, écrite par Anna Todd. La série After est composé de 4 livres.

L’intrigue du film  Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage L’amour d’Hardin et Tessa est encore une fois mis à l’épreuve. Ces  deux adolescents vont devoir affronter leur passé. Tessa rencontre son père après des années et décide de le prendre en charge après avoir découvert qu’il était devenu sans abri. Hardin accepte de l’héberger mais ne fait pas confiance à cet homme, convaincu qu’il cache une partie de la vérité. Mais ce n’est pas le seul obstacle. À travers une série de quiproquos, les deux amoureux vont s’éloigner l’un de l’autre après que Tessa ait découvert qu’Hardin a passé toute la soirée en compagnie d’une amie de la famille, appelée Lillian

Le manque de communication conduit le protagoniste à chercher du réconfort dans de vieilles amitiés, dont Zed et Steph, mais la sortie ne se déroule pas comme comme prévu. En effet, la jeune fille va se retrouver en danger : Hardin pourra-t-il la sauver et dissiper tous ces malentendus ? Concernant l’intrigue du film, Castille Landon, le réalisateur d’ Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage nous assure qu’il sera fidèle au roman du même nom.

Le casting du film  Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage : qui sera là ? Nous verrons probablement le retour de deux personnages principaux : Héro Fiennes-Tiffin et Josephine Langford, comme Hardin et Tessa,  Venom 2 Let There Be Carnageivement. Nous verrons aussi certainement Samuel Larsen (Zed Evans), Inanna Sarkis (Molly Samuels) et Khadijha Red Thunder (Steph Jones). Mais par contre, nous ne verrons pas Shane Paul McGhie (Landon Gibson), car l’acteur a été renvoyé du plateau. Dylan Sprouse, dont le rôle est Trevor ne revient pas non plus.

Mais il y a aussi une nouvelle de dernière minute : d’autres acteurs ne reviendront pas dans le troisième film, d’où la nécessité d’un renouvellement. Déjà dans After 2, on se rend compte que le père d’Hardin n’est plus joué par Peter Gallagher (Andy Cohen pourquoi es-tu parti ?) mais par Rob Estes et que la mère de Landon n’est plus jouée par Jennifer Beals mais par Karimah Westbrook. Nous verrons également beaucoup de changements dans  Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage. En commençant par Candice King et Charlie Weber : les deux acteurs ne seront plus Kim et Christian Vance.

L’actrice que nous avons appris à aimer dans The Vampire Diaries comme Caroline est enceinte de son deuxième enfant ! Sa grossesse l’empêche donc de retourner sur le plateau pour filmer  Venom 2 Let There Be Carnage. Candice sera remplacée par Arielle Kebbel que nous avons déjà vu dans The Vampire Diaries: : Il s’agit de Lexi, le meilleur ami de Stefan ! Charlie sera remplacé par Stephen Moyer. Aussi Selma Blair, qui joue la mère de Tessa, est remplacée par Mira Sorvino. En plus de toutes ces modifications, il y a aussi une nouvelle arrivée : Carter Jenkins, qui jouera Robert, le potentiel amoureux de Tessa.

La raison de tous ces changements est que le fait de tourner deux films ensemble empêche aussi certains des acteurs principaux de participer à d’autres engagements professionnels ou autres.

Thank you for the question.

Harry is the focus because he is profitable for his team— Harry, Sony, Columbia Records, FSM, Fulwell, the entire entourage. In retrospect, the team had been planning Harry’s solo career since first courting him around 2013, if not earlier.

Rob Stringer’s 2017 interview shows his focus on Harry, and his deflection on One Direction. The focus switched to Harry, and Harry became the future earner. One Direction was in the past. One Direction also became competitors of Harry.

If that’s the case, why did Sony sign Louis in the first place, only to slow his progress as a solo artist and underpromote him?

Because it could.

According to Dan Wootton’s 2015 article about One Direction, many of the facts he outlined were accurate, although as always Wootton put a Cowell-approved spin on things:

Meanwhile, Louis took control of 1D, making himself the band’s unofficial leader and regularly going into battle with their management and record company.

A source at music giant Sony said: “Frankly, Louis is a little s*** who’s managed to annoy a lot of people over the last couple of years. He’s made some ridiculous decisions, like refusing to let 1D perform at the Brit Awards because they wanted more time off. But he’s played a clever game as he surely knows he’s not the most talented member and doesn’t have a strong singing voice, so has set himself up as the business brains.”

So the question remains... if Louis is such a weak performer, and annoys the shit out of people at Syco and Sony, then why did they sign him as a solo artist? Why did Louis sign with them? Why hasn’t he left, when it’s clear he isn’t the priority?

The synchronized timelines between Harry and Louis since 2017 might answer one question. Louis was signed to enhance solo Harry. The label knows a lot about Larries— their shared fanbase. Larries were a sizable fanbase to launch solo Harry. You aren’t as important to Harry now, and therefore there’s less need to pretend to promote Louis now. As such, Louis functions two ways: to appeal to Larries who believe they’re still together, and to appeal to Harry’s other fans, by denying Larry on camera. Harry doesn’t ever deny Larry. He doesn’t offend his own fanbase— Louis takes the hit instead. This way, Harry can remain a sexual fantasy to all his fans, Larries, het fans, LGBT fans who imagine him with others etc.

Louis and Harry’s careers are linked. This is one small piece of evidence, but Mike Navarra, who did PR for 1D and does Columbia PR for Harry, still tracks Louis.

The second reason Louis is underpromoted is to take him out of competition. This isn’t unique to Louis— Zayn is underpromoted for the same reason (it’s not the only reason, but it’s one of them). It may be why Back to You was pulled off the radio when it was climbing in the charts, and why Miss You got zero promo (look at their streaming and YouTube numbers). It maybe why Always You never launched in 2017– and why Louis was reluctant even to include it on his album.

After Fizzy died, Ann Marie Thomson— Syco PR— gave a statement to USA Today on Louis’ behalf. If Louis has his own PR, why weren’t they contacted for a statement? Why was Syco PR? The day after Fizzy’s death, The Sun ran a story on it implying drug overdose. What did they know? If they knew, how did they know? Could it be because Simon Jones and Dan Wootton are friends? And were they holding this information over Louis as a bargaining chip for other things?

It’s important to look at real business decisions around the release of Walls, the album, and ask why a debut album that went to #1 in 53 countries, and was #9 on Billboard 200, was underpromoted in such haphazard and obvious ways. It took Louis’ fans (Sterre) and UAs days of begging LTHQ to change the bundling language that would have invalidated tour bundles of the album. The album price was suddenly changed two days before release, so all Amazon and Google Play digital preorders were cancelled. In the middle of release week, LTHQ contacted UAs to ask fans to stop streaming music. Stores in the UK ran out of physical copies for sale during release week. None of the singles from Walls were included in top pop or rock streaming playlists on Spotify. DLIBYH was released in a singles edition whose streams do not count toward RIAA certification. Walls singles are not played on BBC Radio or Capital FM, and were not available on All Access. Shitty, suspicious stuff like this. You can compare all of these facts, point for point, to Harry’s promo and see the difference.

Members of the Film & TV Music community, made up of composers, songwriters, music editors, music supervisors, studio executives and more, are contributing their talents to SOUNDTRACK OF OUR LIVES: A CELEBRATION FOR THE FILM & TV MUSIC COMMUNITY, an online benefit event for MusiCares® COVID-19 Relief Fund. This specially produced program debuts June 25th, 2020, at noon pacific on YouTube, and will honor the talented people whose scores and songs transport, inspire, uplift and entertain us by creating the "soundtrack of our lives." The fun, delightful and heartfelt hour-long special will feature leading and iconic singers, composers, songwriters, actors, celebrity guests and others while celebrating glorious Film & TV Music moments with heart and humor. Donations to MusiCares® COVID-19 Relief Fund will be encouraged throughout the show.

MusiCares® COVID-19 Relief Fund was created by MusiCares® to provide support to the music community during the pandemic crisis. The music industry has been essentially shut down with the cancellation of music performances, events, festivals, conferences and the many other live events that are the cornerstone of the shared music experience. Since the fund's establishment in March, over 14,000 clients have been served, with many more still needing help.

Show co-creator Peter Rotter says: "When the pandemic tragically hit our world and began to shut down our film music community, I felt that something needed to be done to help those who were in need of support and care. Through MusiCares® we have found the charitable vehicle that can come alongside our hurting musical family.

"Music has always played a role in history; reflecting both the subtle and monumental moments of our lives through its unique DNA. Music connects each of us, acting as a common thread of unification, opening the hearts of all people.

"Regardless of the color of one's skin, status or station in life, music powerfully breaks through boundaries as its message permeates deep within us; healing our human frailties and condition at our cores. Music is transformative and personal. It powerfully underscores our lives."

"Music has always helped transport, uplift and inspire us through wars, economic hardships, health crises and societal upheavals," says show co-creator, Richard Kraft. "When COVID-19 hit, it threatened the lives and livelihood of much of our Film & TV Music community. So, we decided to create an online special that both celebrates the soundtrack of our lives and benefits, via MusiCares®, the artists who create it."
