Aka I say Vibes 30 times, these aren’t in order
- Come Little Children by Erutan
Disney villain vibes
Evil motherly song, guiding through the dark
“It must be this way” MY FUCKING FEELINGS
Haunting, I love it
7/10, get’s kinda repetitive
- You’re a Cad by the bird and a bee
Oh boy I’ve been hearing this one is about Virgil
First lyric screams “betrayal”

Oooo dark vibes
“I know the world is in your hands” Janus calling out someone’s power?
“Please do my turn the light out, oh I don’t think the conversations over” Major SvS Redux vibes

I’ve never listened to Chicago so here we go
Janus loves Jazz TM
“How can they see with sequence in their eyes?” ooooo
“Razzle Dazzle them and they’ll beg ya for more”
why does this seem like Janus telling Virgil he’s tricking everyone else with a friendly disguise?
I’m pretty sure this song is about prostitution
I know this song is supposed to be about disguising bland things with stupid amounts of show, but it gives off the vibe Janus is horny
6/10 just because I thought the song was SUPER repetitive

- Evil Night Together by Jill Tracy
Man Janus just loves those jazz songs

Another 10/10
- Criminal by Fiona Apple
Evil jazzzzzzzz
“When a girl will break a boy just because she can”
Her voice is amazing, and it works well with the tone
“I got a lot to loose, and I’m betting high, so I’m begging you.” SvS vibes!!! (Not redux tho)
I really think Thomas, Joan, and Tayln knew what the fuck they were doing with this song and causing chaos with the Janus and Virgil shippers (yes they exist)
7/10 the ending wanted to be a fade out but it didn’t really work
- Trust in Me from the Jungle Book
Oh Jesus
Ooo opening just BURSTS through the door
Scarlett Johansson didn’t have to go this smooth but she did and I love her for it
MORE EVIL JAZZ
I like this take on the song, gives it more evil mom energy
10/10 I just- amazing
And that’s the end, Janus’ playlist overall is a 8/10

An (in)complete list of all WeiLan AUs I have started & do not have enough time in 30 lives to compete:
Shifter AU: The god Kunlun was a 9-tailed fox spirit who took the displaced Dixingren people under his, uh, tails in the mountains of Kunlun. The gods said that no Dixingren would ever enter the wheel of reincarnation & Kunlun said that was bullshit. They attempted to kill Shen Wei, Lord of the Dixingren, as repayment for Kunlun's insult but his twin brother tricked the gods into killing him instead. Kunlun remakes Ye Zun's soul, stitching it together with the soul of a corvid from the decimated Dixing. Thus is born the first shifter of the Dixingren. Shit happens, Kunlun is eventually killed as he seals the gods off from the world. Shen Wei sleeps for 10,000 years, not knowing Kunlun is reincarnating in humans or that his brother is still alive. Dixingren interbreed with humanity and the Yashou, creating a race of shifters- humans who can take an animal form. Shen Wei wakes up in a different time and meets Zhao Yunlan, a human police chief with a "fox" shift. Shen Wei doesn't know if this is Kunlun or not until Zhao Yunlan's second tail comes in- showing he's not the fox shifter everyone thought he was.
Shifter AU, version 2: ft both Shen Wei & Yunlan reincarnating & meeting again in modern eras. Shen Wei has a Dixingren corvid shift like his brother.
Reincarnation AU: Kinda follows novel canon but Kunlun's reincarnations remember Shen Wei & quietly mourns for a love he can't clearly remember
K AU- Kunlun is the First & Silver King, an immortal human blessed by the Dresden Slate. He has completely abandoned the world after the death of his mother, father, and sister. Ye Zun is the Seventh & Grey King- the wildcard king, every one of the grey kings has had different powers. Shen Wei is the Second & Gold King- the Silver King's childhood friend and arguably the most powerful of the kings, but he is not immortal like Kunlun. He also has not completely retired from the world and strives to maintain order so that some day, Kunlun may descend again & live among everyone else. Da Qing as Neko, loyal only to his master and a Strain Yashou who can craft fine illusions. Ye Zun "kills" Kunlun, then frames him for the murder of the Third & Red King's (aka Chu Shuzhi) beloved twin brother. The Fourth & Blue King aka Guo Chengcheng works to maintain order and keep his beloved Red King from overexerting himself & dying despite his grief. Zhao Yunlan, college student & owner of Da Qing, is thought to be the new Grey King but he's got secrets as old as the Kings themselves and only Shen Wei can unravel them all.
They're both professional orchestra players, Zhao Yunlan plays violin & Shen Wei plays the Dizi.
Post-canon AU where Zhao Yunlan founds the Dixingren school that eventually becomes several schools & a university. Shen Wei is reborn after 10,000 years and somehow completely misses meeting Yunlan, the immortal Haixingren professor, until he's become a police officer & is investigating a case at the university.
Post-canon AU where Zhao Yunlan becomes King of Dixingren and nearly dies before Shen Wei pieces his soul back together & comes back to life
So many time travel AUs I can't even keep them seperate
Nirvana in Fire AU where Zhao Yunlan is the disfavored seventh Prince mourning the death of his childhood best friend, Shen Wei. The whole Shen Family & their army (the Dixingren Army) was implicated in a plot to kill emperor Zhao Xinci and put to death, though Zhao Yunlan thinks they're innocent (half the reason he's out of the emperor's favor). Enter Hei Pao Shi, a mysterious strategist who has chosen to ally himself to Seventh Prince Zhao Yunlan, to Yunlan's confusion and mild distaste. This does not stop Yunlan from flirting with the masked man.
In which Shen Wei is a gentlemen thief named Hei Pao Shi and he flirts with Officer Zhao Yunlan who is in charge of the task force intent on capturing him. It's all fun and games until Officer Zhao shows up at Professor Shen's door, asking him about the artifacts HPS has stolen and Professor Shen falls a bit in love.
Professor Shen Wei lives across the hall with his cat Da Ji. Zhao Yunlan and his cat Da Qing aren't in love. Really.
Shen Wei is a professorial chef and Zhao Yunlan is his disaster boyfriend who can't tell the difference between instant ramen & handmade ramen. This is somehow still a match made in heaven.
I have a note that says "Dragon WeiLan ft pearl of sadness" and I really want to know wtf I meant by that
Shen Wei comes back to life post-drama and is made aware Yunlan is eternally on fire in the lamp (discontinued due to sadness & Shen Wei murdering the Regent)
Ye Old Haixing AU where Shen Wei, as first Prince of the Ghost Tribe, and Zhao Yunlan, first Prince of the Mountain Tribe, are engaged to be married. Only issue is that Shen Wei is in love with the pugilist Kunlun & Zhao Yunlan is in love with the pugilist Hei Pao Shi.
Mama Zhao has insisted that Zhao Yunlan find someone to date or she'll set him up. He lies & says he has a date, but now Moma Zhao wants to meet them. Da Qing turns down fake dating Zhao Yunlan, so in a fit of desperation, Zhao Yunlan calls a random number and ends up convincing Professor Shen Wei to be his fake date. They don't meet until the dinner with Mama Zhao. Zhao Yunlan regrets his request to have the professor fake a messy breakup with him to get her off his case, but then professor Shen Wei never does the melt down over Yunlan's horrific lack of manners. Instead Yunlan gets taken home & fucked. Fake dating turns real and Yunlan worries when Shen Wei will come to his senses even as they adopt a cat & move in together. Da Qing officiates their wedding & Mama Zhao gets drunk & confesses she knew they were fake dating but now she's keeping Shen Wei

What instruments can you play or that you have tried to play?
I played violin for several years, didn't for like five and then picked it up again a few months ago. It uh. Doesn't sound super great. My body does not remember what vibrato is. I wish I had been allowed to do viola instead, the e string hurts my ears a bit, but the school did this thing where they gave us all a test and the children who could hear whether a note was higher or lower than another etc were told Okay you play violin now have fun. I think it was some kind of let's get poor kids into music initiative. Sidenote if you don't already you should watch Twoset Violin they're funny but every now and again they do something and you realise oh shit they're actual professional musicians
I taught myself how to read music on recorder but I was maybe nine so I do not think I could now, and I taught myself enough acoustic guitar to clumsily play songs like this and enough piano to play like, Frühling in Paris and most Dresden Dolls/Amanda Palmer songs. I can't sing but I do, very loudly and until I fuck up my voice because it's fun.
My hands are not big enough to play Mein Herz Brennt and I'm considering slicing my thumb webbing bit so I can stretch further. It would be worth it yes? Or just use my foot to play the lowest notes that'd be jazzy
If you hand me an instrument though I'm gonna fuckin try. I've always wanted to play accordion and cello. I have never touched a cello or tried playing a drum kit. A church once let me ring the bell.
So in summary: none.

The trip to Frankfurt Airport on the ICE (inter-city express) was very good.  We had no trouble getting the rental car.  Actually, we got lucky getting a nice brand new Ford Fiesta, diesel.  May 30 is ascension Day, a national holiday. We took our time and drove to a nice old town call Meiningen, about an hour and a half from Leipzig. It was a very nice hotel with an Italian restaurant and free parking. We had spaghetti carbonara again and took a nice walk around the old town for some beautiful pictures. We just relaxed and thought there might be a little trouble getting a hotel in Leipzig because of the long holiday weekend. We found a nice apartment hotel that is directly in the Old Town and near the old city hall.  I booked a room for 3 days instead of 2 so we could relax. We wanted to go hear the Boy’s Choir service in Dresden on Sunday, but couldn't be sure if they were singing based on the website.
May 31
We found the hotel easily which has a kitchenette.  We could not check in until 4:00 PM so we spent Friday morning and afternoon walking around Old Town and visiting the Bach museum.
June 1
On Saturday we got up early drove to the monument to the nations. It's a huge monolithic structure celebrating the victory of the coalition of many nations over Napoleon which ended Napoleon's reign over Europe. That took a good 2 hours with a lot of steps up and down to get to the observation deck 91 m above the ground. When we got back, we parked our car near to the hotel which is cheaper than the original park house. After lunch, we wandered around looking at shops and buildings before we went to the choir concert at 3:00 PM in the Thomas Church, where Bach was choir director for 25 years. There are ice cream stands on every corner all over Europe and we finally had some good Italian ice cream before concert.  We skipped coffee and loved the ice cream.  We went to the German secret police office which had been the headquarters for the US military mayor of Leipzig when the allies took it over in May of 1945.  The Stasi used every effort they could to keep track of what people were doing. One famous sayings was you don’t “know who was whom” so you better not talk about anything against the government.  We had dinner at a typical German restaurant which had an untypical menu. Elizabeth had the potato soup with wurst and I had the senior plate with 3 small sausages, sauerkraut and dampf noodles (boiled noodles).  Both were very tasty and not huge portions.  I had never seen a menu with items for seniors.  Later that night there was a big demonstration in front of the Opera House about the plight of refugees coming into Europe. They were protesting the treatment of the people who were rescuing the people escaping from Africa. Apparently the people on the boats who are helping are being arrested for human trafficking.  We thought it was a protest about nationalism. A young lady standing near us kept looking back at us while we spoke in English so we asked her to explain some of the signs to us. She told us it was also about the education system. Apparently not many things have changed since my friend Rudi went to school in Selb in the 60s. Your prospects for going to college or any other higher learning still depends on your social status. The young lady we talked to was 31 years old and is just completing her bachelor degree.  She had a hard time getting into college since she was not college material because of her parents social status. Her boyfriend, on the other hand, who is also 31 is working on his doctorate because both his parents were College professors.
Sunday, June 2
I like getting up in the morning, brewing coffee while I walk downstairs to the bakery 20 feet from our hotel for fresh brotchen.   It has been very warm and we can’t keep our windows open at night because we are on a busy street for foot traffic. Someone was having a really good time at 2 a.m. this morning so we had to close our windows.  For some reason,  the towel heater comes on every evening in the bathroom and makes the bathroom very warm. I have not been able to figure out how to turn it off.  It must be on the timer because it goes off in the middle of the night. There is a switch but I can't figure out which is on and which is off and I turn the thermostat down to cold. It's the weekend so there's no one at the front desk and I don't consider it an emergency.   It's almost 10 AM so we are going to go for a stroll around town before lunch. We're going on the music tour that’s marked on the city map. We walked over to the Mendelssohn Haus in time to catch the noon concert. it was a man with a violin and a woman on a piano. They played two pieces, one by Mendelssohn and one by Tchaikovsky that took an hour. By my standards, they were exceptional.  They played one encore because it was very hot with little ventilation of the 2nd floor.  We had a late lunch and went to a museum that had over 5000 musical instruments from over a 500 year period. We had a nice talk with one of the monitors that watched us to make sure we didn't use flash photography. After I spoke to him for about 10 minutes, he asked if I were a real American since I spoke German so well.  He knows about Route 66 and  has friends who have ridden a motorcycle across Route 66 from California. Now it's time to rest a little bit before abend essen (dinner meal). We plan eat at a Greek restaurant we found last night.

The people around you
I met a wonderful girl today. Again.
She’s going to go for a trip in Vietnam very soon. A backpack adventure all alone. I admire her brave spirit.
Every time we meet I discover new, amazing things about her.
She had studied literature / philosophy.
She travelled a lot and she lived in Morocco for a while.
She lived in Paris, and Dresden, too.
She likes drawing and she’s a great illustrator
She has worked with one of the biggest film festival of my city
She used to ride the horse, when she was younger
She played the violin
Her parents worked at a local radio and she grew up in this environment
She grew up reading everything and she has a passion for comic books
She’s interested in documentaries about various religion
.. wow! I’m amazed by all the things she did and she can do in the future!
I know another girl.
She has been in Nicaragua once. The reality struck her and, coming back, she decided to write a book about it.
She sold all the copies of the book, and with that money, she could help the communities of Nicaragua to build a new school and buy new books.
These days she departures again to Guatemala, for a reportage.
Sometimes I look around and I’m amazed by all these people around me. In silence, they’re all doing amazing things. They’re like little lights that irradiate also the people around them, and they are a guidance for the other people lost in their journey.
I’m inspired by this greatness!
When I will ever be able to illuminate, even myself?

purple and grey!!!!
((aaa sorry this is so late I haven’t had the chance to get on my computer until now))
Purple: 10 facts about my room
1. I have a lot of posters on the walls. Like. 13. plus a calendar.
2. My dresser is a war zone between snacks and miscellaneous things on one side and my TV and game systems on the other.
3. There are six blankets on my bed, which is odd because it’s always hot here.
4. I have a net in the corner of my room that has about a third of my stuffed animals, and another third is on my bed.
5. I have a tall bookshelf with all my manga and a few of my taller books (art books, high school yearbooks, game guides, etc.) and a collection of pokemon plushes on top.
6.I have a smaller bookshelf with anime/other DVDs, my Dresden Files books, and some of the smaller books I have. Plus all of my pokemon figures and anime figures on the shelves.
7. My room is very small. Between my bed, dresser, bookshelves, and two small stands, I have very little room to actually move around.
8 Um. I’m running out of things. Uh, I keep my violin propped up against the wall and trip on it pretty much every day, but refuse to move it.
9. I don’t have a place to hang all my con badges so they hang on the hooks the hold up my stuffed animal net.
10. My closet is a hazardous area that no mortal should be allowed to enter for fear of things falling on them
Grey: 2 facts about my favorite things
1. Sharks! I have so many shark facts! Most recently I learned that sharks can either give birth to live young or they can lay eggs.
2. I’ll go with one of my more obscure interests for this one. The actor of my favorite character form Firefly is going to be at Phoenix Comicon this year and I am Excite.
