I got really behind on "Atop the Fourth Wall", so I've been re-watching the show from the beginning again so I can get caught up.

(I think I lost track somewhere before the pandemic, so y'know. Lots to get through.)

I'm currently at Lunatik #1, which was first uploaded in 2010. And you know what? I'm enjoying it. A lot. And it really holds up well. A lot of comedy from the late 2000s/early 2010s has aged like milk, but AT4W just... hasn't been like that.

So if you're a fan of Linkara and you're wondering if the old stuff is as good as you remember? Yeah. It is.

Let’s make the Plot Hole a unit of measurement.

Plot Hole = One level of abstraction away from canon.

Example: Linkara eats some celery

1 Plot Hole: Lewis Lovhaug writes and preforms a scene where his character, Linkara, eats some celery.

2 Plot Holes: The fandom watches/listens to the scene where Linkara eats celery. They interpret it what they have seen/heard/read. Linkara eats some celery. Word of God: Lewis Lovhaug tells fans why Linkara loves celery but it is not confirmed in the canon itself.

3 Plot Holes: Headcanons and fanons. Linkara eats some celery. Given the information in the canon, fans come up with theories that could easily be true but have not been confirmed.

4 Plot Holes: Fanfiction and fan art. Linkara eats some celery. The fandom makes their own stories and draws pictures of this. They also make stories and art about situations that could arise from the information they got from canon. Harvey wants to make some vegetable soup. Sometimes he calls himself Insano, sometimes he calls himself Spoony. He always orders too much caffeine. Linkara worries he’s going to give this cute guy a heart attack but he doesn’t question it. He goes on break and the guy asks Linkara to share a table with him and, rather than going to the staff room, he does. Linkara eats some celery.
