Besides the demon kings mentioned as the sworn brothers of Wukong, and the father of Jade Faced Demon and Hu A'qi who are also mentioned as demon kings(?), what other mentions of demon kings are and which of these do the pilgrims kill?

I’m surprised you are not aware but MOST of not all the demons that the pilgrims fight are demons kings. We see that Wukong visited about 72 Demon Kings at the start and out of the 72, Wukong befriended 6 of them. A personal headcanon of mine is that there can only be 72 demons, no reason really just a good number, but that if a demon wishes to be the 'King' they must defeat the old one and take over. Such as Wukong taking down the Demon King of Havoc who was trying to take his territory and his subjects.

But here is all the Demon king they have fought.

Demon King of Confusion (混世魔王) - killed by Wukong

Bear Mountain Lord (熊山君) - escape

Black Wind King (黑風怪) - befriended with Guanyin

Yellow Wind Demon (黃風怪) - subdued for Lingji

Yellow Robe Demon (黃袍怪) - jailed

Golden Horned King (金角大王) - jailed

Silver Horned King (銀角大王) - jailed

Hu A'qi Great King Fox Number Seven (狐阿七) - killed by Bajie

Lion-Lynx Demon / Azure Lion (獅猁怪/青毛獅子) subdued for Manjusri

Red Boy (紅孩兒) befriended with Gaunyin

Tuolong Black River God (鼉龍) jailed by Crown Prince Mo'ang

That should be all at them at least that I know are Demon Kings. There could be more but the reason I didn't add these demons to the list is that I didn't see them with an army or many servants if at all. So these are more honorary mentions cause they are still powerful demons that COULD be demon kings.

White Bone demon (白骨精) - killed by Wukong

Nine-Tailed Vixen (九尾狐狸) - killed by Wukong

Nine-Headed Insect (九頭蟲) escaped capture by Erlang

White Deer Spirit (白鹿精) subdued for Old Man of the South Pole

Lady Earth Flow (地涌夫人) subdued for Nezha and King Jing

Killed - 10 Released / Escaped - 3 Jailed / Subdued for Owner - 16 Befriend - 3

Are the Huli Jings mentioned in JTTW shown to have any power or fight? or are they killed too quickly? Do you know any articles that talk about Huli Jings or do your know more about them ? I don't trust Google files very much since they are more copy and paste of information that doesn't seem very verified.

I have made a large post now with links to The Nine-Tailed Fox so I would recommend looking at those. There are some more since Baidu is more delighted than Wiki when it comes to these subjects.

But there are a new Fox Demon that the crew faced. The Nine-Tailed Fox Demon, Great King Fox Number Seven, and Jade-Faced Fox Princess, Spring Grace, and White-Faced Vixen Spirit.

And yeah sadly they are killed pretty easily or even just killed off-screen cause they weren’t that big a deal. I’ll share their Baidu articles too.

Chapter 33 - Nine-Tailed Vixen (九尾狐狸) killed by Wukong

Chapter 35 - Hu A'qi Great King Fox Number Seven (狐阿七) killed by Bajie

Chapter 60 - Jade-Faced Princess (玉面公主) killed by Bajie off-screen

Chapter 71 - Spring Grace (春娇) killed by Wukong

Chapter 79 - White-Faced Vixen Spirit (白面狐狸精) killed by Bajie

These all the foxes that I found in Xiyouji during my read of it. But if you are familiar with these then it is clear that about 4/5 of these yaguai were killed without a real fight. Nine-Tails was killed by Wukong with a single hit and he took her place to trick Silver and Gold Horn the REAL threats in the arc. Fox Number Seven was just Nine Tails’ brother who tried to avenge her but even in battle he was barely worth mentioning that he died in the fight. He was the only one that died in battle and it was hard to pinpoint where it happened.

Spring Grace was a servant for the Jupiter Rivals Arc and thus died with a single hit and Wukong took her place to sneak into a demon cave and Jade Face isn't a fighter and thus died off-screen. And yes, she does have a father that died and left her all her money, she used that money to lure DBK to marry her and yes she is very rich that is from the book and also a place of disconnect to why Wukong doesn't seem to respect Jade Face but respects his sister in law Iron Fan.

And White Face was killed when she was an accomplice in trying to kill about 10,000 babies with her adopted father White Deer Spirit. White Deer got to live and watch his adopted daughter die as he was arrested for his crimes. She didn't put up a fight either, simply trying to use espionage to run away but was still caught. The only reason that White Deer didn’t die was because he had an owner to vouch for him when he would turn back to his animal form.

I would say that in Xiyouji these fox demons, at least three of them, are more noted for their beauty and how they used that to their advantage to take over land and use people. They are considered more cunning and clever than like all-powerful or particularly difficult in a fight. Rather their strength is more in how they are able to deceive their enemies and use their magic to trick and exploit.
