Besides the demon kings mentioned as the sworn brothers of Wukong, and the father of Jade Faced Demon and Hu A'qi who are also mentioned as demon kings(?), what other mentions of demon kings are and which of these do the pilgrims kill?
I’m surprised you are not aware but MOST of not all the demons that the pilgrims fight are demons kings. We see that Wukong visited about 72 Demon Kings at the start and out of the 72, Wukong befriended 6 of them. A personal headcanon of mine is that there can only be 72 demons, no reason really just a good number, but that if a demon wishes to be the 'King' they must defeat the old one and take over. Such as Wukong taking down the Demon King of Havoc who was trying to take his territory and his subjects.
But here is all the Demon king they have fought.
Demon King of Confusion (混世魔王) - killed by Wukong
Bear Mountain Lord (熊山君) - escape
Black Wind King (黑風怪) - befriended with Guanyin
Yellow Wind Demon (黃風怪) - subdued for Lingji
Yellow Robe Demon (黃袍怪) - jailed
Golden Horned King (金角大王) - jailed
Silver Horned King (銀角大王) - jailed
Hu A'qi Great King Fox Number Seven (狐阿七) - killed by Bajie
Lion-Lynx Demon / Azure Lion (獅猁怪/青毛獅子) subdued for Manjusri
Red Boy (紅孩兒) befriended with Gaunyin
Tuolong Black River God (鼉龍) jailed by Crown Prince Mo'ang
King of Spiritual Touch (靈感大王) subdued for Guanyin
Single Horned Rhinoceros King (獨角兕大王) subdued for Laojun
Scorpion Demoness (蠍子精) - killed by Rooster
Princess Iron Fan (鐵扇公主) - released
Bull Demon King (牛魔王) jailed
Wansheng Dragon King (萬聖龍王) - killed by Wukong and Bajie
Yellow Brows Great King (黃眉大王) jailed for Maitreya
Great King Jupiter's Rival (賽太歲) subdued for Guanyin
Hundred-Eyed Demon Lord (百眼魔君) befriended for Pilanpo
Yellow Toothed Elephant (黃牙老象) subdued for Samantabhadra
Golden-Winged Great Peng (金翅大鵬雕) subdued for Buddha
King of the Southern Hill (南山大王) - killed by Bajie
Grand Saint of Nine Spirits (九靈元聖) subdued for Taiyi Jiuku Tainzun
King of Cold Protection (辟寒大王) - killed by celestial
King of Heat Protection (辟暑大王) killed by Bajie
King of Dust Protection (辟塵大王) killed by Bajie
That should be all at them at least that I know are Demon Kings. There could be more but the reason I didn't add these demons to the list is that I didn't see them with an army or many servants if at all. So these are more honorary mentions cause they are still powerful demons that COULD be demon kings.
White Bone demon (白骨精) - killed by Wukong
Nine-Tailed Vixen (九尾狐狸) - killed by Wukong
Nine-Headed Insect (九頭蟲) escaped capture by Erlang
White Deer Spirit (白鹿精) subdued for Old Man of the South Pole
Lady Earth Flow (地涌夫人) subdued for Nezha and King Jing
Killed - 10 Released / Escaped - 3 Jailed / Subdued for Owner - 16 Befriend - 3
I made a list a while ago of all the demons here if you need to check it out but I hope that helps!

Do you think you could make a list from the strongest demon king to the weakest?
Maybe Wukong's sworn brothers other than the demon bull king wouldn't be included because we never see them fight (although I understand they fought alongside Wukong when he rebelled against heaven?)
I could only give out a rough outline since I'm not really a 'power scaler' and honestly it's hard to say if by strong you mean the most difficult or if they had powerful attacks. Most of Wukong's worst fights aren't, particularly because his enemies were physically powerful but just had a strong weapon or a single powerful attack while being a glass canon.
While Wukong's sworn brothers did join the fight against heaven, their own armies were captured. Not sure if this was to reflect Wukong's favoritism toward his own monkeys or to show how his sworn brothers were outclassed but I am not even going to try to guess.
So this will be more of a list of Wukong Most DIFFICULT fights to the easiest fights.
Hurt Wukong Trapped Wukong Fought (tie) Fought (lost) Lost without Fight Never seen Fight (inconclusive) Magic Item
Red Boy - made Wukong pass out, Guanyin subdued him, glass cannon
Scorpion Demoness - poisoned Wukong, killed by Pleiades Star Offical, glass cannon
Yellow Wind Demon - make Wukong blind, he needed Lingshan's help, glass cannon
Hundred-Eyed Demon Lord - blinded Wukong momentarily, also taken out by Star Official Pleides
Golden-Winged Great Peng - Talons overpowered Wukong, was taken out by Buddha
Silver Horned King - captured Wukong due to magic spell and has magic item, was killed later though
Single Horned Rhinoceros King - very powerful magic item used, subdued by Laozi
Yellow Brows Great King - powerful magic item and needed Maitreya Buddha help to defeat
Princess Iron Fan - blew Wukong away with magic item, he needed Lingshan's help
Golden Horned King - captured Wukong due to magic items
Six Eared Macaque - tie until Buddha gave Wukong the upper hand
Bull Demon King - impressive fight but still ran away after being overwhelmed in numbers
Yellow Robe Demon - impressive fight but Wukong still needed the 28 Star's help
Nine-Headed Insect - ran away until taken out by Erlang Shen
Black Wind King - good at escaping, needed Gaunyin's help
Great Immortal King of Spiritual Touch - Gaunyin defeated in the end
Yellow Toothed Elephant - defeated Bajie, lost to Wukong
Azure Lion / Lion-Lynx Demon - defeated Wujing, lost to Wukong
Grand Saint of Nine Spirits - Wukong had Tianzun to help
King of Dust Protection - captured Bajie and Wujing
King of Heat Protection - captured Bajie and Wujing
King of Cold Protection - captured Bajie and Wujing, was killed by Bajie
Lady Earth Flow - able to slip away, needed Nezha and King's Li's help
Great King Jupiter's Rival - had a magic item but never got a chance to use against Wukong
Tuolong Black River God - his own cousin took him out but even Wujing could fight him
Python Demon
White Bone Demon - hard to pin down but killed in one blow
Spider Demons - stole Sanzang but very easy to defeat
King of the Southern Hill
Tiger Strength Great Immortal
Elk Strength Great Immortal
Antelope Strength Immortal
White Deer Spirit
Nine-Tailed Vixen
Great King Fox Number Seven
Wansheng Dragon King
Demon King of Confusion
Dragon Demon King
Peng Demon King
Lion Demon King
Female Macaque King
Snub Nose Monkey King
Bear Mountain Lord
This is my personal take on the Demon Kings and as you can see, I did include demons that aren’t technically Demon Kings but rather the main antagonist in their arc. This also doesn't include ALL the demons or any gods or immortals that Wukong has fought with either, these are just the Demon Kings (or at least demons that are the big bad in their arcs) so there are still other antagonists that are in the book on here.
I am solely going on how the fights went in my notes and what I can remember so if you remember these fights going differently and actually want to add any details please let me know. I didn't include anything that the demons like 'claim' to have or powers or feats that they have done, just what they ACTAULLY did in the story, cause actions speak louder than words.
There could be grey area with the demons with magic items. And you could argue how easily the demons that caused Wukong the most damage were easily defeated by other gods just because they could bypass their one (1) magic spell gimic that was just giving Wukong trouble. Two of these Demon Kings were taken out by the SAME ROOSTER just because they are insect demons and roosters are their natural enemies. So take that as you will... Other demons Kings were defeated just cause their owner showed up before they could really fight too.

Is there a fifth dragon? Have not read the book yet but wants to.
If you mean Xiyouji as the book then there are actually thousands of dragons, maybe millions depending on if it has any pond/well/river/lake/stream as a dragon designated to the spot. But dragons are an entire species that have many members, the Ao family is just the most important as they rule the seas while other dragon kings rule their own rivers/streams/other water-based environments.
There is the main Draong King, who is seen as the yellow dragon in the certain, and his four sons who rule the Seas. And he has a daughter but she is married to the Dragon King of the Jing River (this is the dragon that died at the start of the novel) so that is a sea dragon marrying a river dragon. From there we see many dragons in Xiyouji, some as villains and others as heroes. Just like humans and yaoguai, there are good and bad dragons just depending on who you encounter first.
Tumblr media
The most notable dragon villains in the book are just three.
Tuolong Black River God 鼉龍 - jailed for crimes
Wansheng Dragon King 萬聖龍王 - killed by Wukong and Bajie
Wansheng Princess 萬聖公主 - killed by Bajie

Why did the book make DBK a cheater? All for the mistress to die in the end which I thought was overkill for her “crime”. Then again Yin and Jin’s mother,,
He isn't a cheater. It was normal for men at the time to take on second wives, mostly for richer men of course with a lot of land but it wasn't considered controversial. PIF just didn't like that he was spending more time with the new wife than with her. And yes she is upset but it was not to be considered cheating at the time.
Tumblr media
She doesn't enjoy that he is away, but yes, that is sucky. Still, please don't think that within this time period, this would be considered cheating or anything as such, everything he has done was acceptable to a certain degree. At most, he failed and not being able to manage his time with the newfound responsibilities he choose to take on.
And for Jade Face as much as she DIDN'T do she was still compliant in DBK's crimes as well as with all the other smaller demons that were involved. That also isn't to say yeah she didn't DO anything but a lot of yaoguai in these stories don't have a direct link to the crimes that are being caused in the journey. Most of the yaoguai that do get killed are simply following orders of their kings and are mostly killed because of their sides. Which also in the time period was considered normal as anyone affiliated with the enemy IS the enemy. Stances like that can change but it wasn't out of the normal at the time at least.
Tumblr media
And yeah Yin and Jin's mom was all ready to eat Sanzang as well... as well with their Uncle so the whole family was just having plans. It is always worse when family is involved but there are surprisingly a lot of Yaoguai families in this story. At least more than you think. White Bone demon had relatives that told her of Sanzang. Yellow Robe demon had a wife and two children. Tuolong Black River God was Bailong's cousin and had to be subdued by his OTHER cousin. King of Spiritual Touch had a mother too with him. Immortal Ruyi is DBK's brother and wanted revenge for his nephew. Wansheng Dragon King and 90% of his family were killed because he listed to his Son-in-Law the Nine Heads Demon, leading to the death of his own daughter too. All seven Spider Sisters and their adopted bug kids. White Deer Spirit had his own adopted daughter die White-Faced Vixen Spirit after their plan to kill 10,000 babies failed. Lady Earth Flow is Nezha's adopted sister. Golden-Winged Great Peng is Buddha's Uncle. Grand Saint of Nine Spirits had all seven of his grandkids killed as well after their plan... yeah there is a lot of weird family connections.

What are Bailong Ma's siblings called in JTTW?
We have Bailong's brother's name in the book Ao Muang. He was the one to come help with the Tuolong Black River God who was Bailong and Muang's cousin, son of the dragon that was beheaded at the start of the novel and going through his 'rebel' phase for not having a father figure is his life despite being taken under the wing of
Tumblr media
We sadly do not know Bailong's second brother's name. Which is a shame as Bailong also doesn't get an official name either. Personal headcanon that the Second Prince is named Ao Xue, which is another name that Bailong's was given in the series Westward, while the Third Prince gets the name Ao Lie.
He also has a sister as well! Ao Cinxin though I'm sure if she is older or younger as they never give an age.
So it goes
Ao Run - Dad
Ao Cinxin - First Princess
Ao Muang - First Prince
Nameless (Ao Xue) - Second Prince
Bailong (Ao Lie) - Third Prince

If we were to insert 6em-Swk childhood friendship in Xiyouji, do you think Swk would still be able to kill 6em for his misdeeds? I know 6em is mainly a means for Swk’s character development, but I’m thinking in terms of fanfic au, staying as close to canon characterization as possible.
If they were friends I don’t think he would have killed him. He did the same to Demon Bull King and Princess Iron Fan, hell, he wanted to spare Red Boy when he found out that was his sworn brother's son and even wanted to just talk to out before he saw that wasn't going to work. I think if they were friends and he knew him then he wouldn’t kill him and would be more than capable to subdue him as well with Buddhas and all of Westerns Heaven's help.
Wukong did have DBK arrested by heaven and reverted back to his original Bull form so it could be that Six Ears could revert back to being just a monkey until he paid off his crimes. As for Princess Iron Fan, Wukong did try to take her fan but after blowing out the mountain's fire she was let go and she swore to revert back to her cultivation. But that was mostly because while she did hinder the quest and did try to kill Wukong, she didn't actively chase after him either. And Red Boy was only saved when GuanYin agreed to take Red Boy under her wing and put the golden hoops around him to be renamed Shancai. So if some Buddha was to offer to take responsibility for Six Ears's misdeeds they could as well.
Most of Wukongs enemies that he subdues (and he does subdue a lot) are saved last minute by their owners, or Wukong gets their owners to subdue the demon himself. Black Wind Demon wasn’t originally under the tutelage of Guanyin but she offered to take him back home to her the guardian of the Purple Bamboo Grove. Similarly, the Hundred-Eyed Demon was about to be killed until Pilanpo offered to take him under his wing and he was to be the guardian of his home as well. That would be the safest bet if someone was to vouch for Six Ears then he would have had a higher chance of surviving.
If you want a list of demons Wukong spared to try to range what that would look like there is Yellow Wind Demon who belonged to Lingji, Yellow Robe Demon who was a deity, Golden Horned King and Silver Horned King that were Laozi's fire tenders, Lion-Lynx Demon/Azura Lion that belonged to Manjusri, Tuolong Black River God that was arrested by his cousin Crown Prince Mo'ang, King of Spiritual Touch that belonged to Guanyin, Single Horned Rhinoceros King that belonged to Laozi, Nine-Headed Insect did escape but was to be arrested later by Erlang, Yellow Brows Great King was the disciple of Maitreya, Great King Jupiter's Rival belonged to Guanyin, Yellow Toothed Elephant who belonged to Samantabhadra, Golden Winged Great Peng who was under Buddha, White Deer Spirit who belonged to Old Man of the South Pole, Lady Earth Flow who was under Li Jang and Nezha, Grand Saint of Nine Spirits belonged to Taiyi Jiuku Tainzun, and Jade Rabbit Spirit belonged to Chang'e... including Black Wind Demon, Hundred Eyes Demon, Demon Bull King, Princess Iron Fan, and Red Boy.
So statistically... the best bet would be to have someone vouch for him. But he also let Princess Iron Fan go so depends on what you are thinking.
