If Pinestar was the Mi of his kits, why didn’t he try to take any of them with him when he left? Like Brightsky keeping some of her litter. He knew how the clans were, he was specifically leaving to get away from it, why did he choose to leave his children behind?

It wasn't a choice. Brightsky gave birth in the home she bolted to; Pinestar wasn't going to be allowed to take his children unless he snuck out with them.

He wishes he did something, when he sees what became of his son. But he tried to be brave when he left, announcing that he would not be coming back, and where he would be going.

He thought that was the right thing to do. Unfortunately, no one else appreciated it the way he hoped they would.

If he DID though, ThunderClan would not have allowed that. They see it as kidnapping. Being Mi doesn't mean you're allowed to do literally anything you want, especially if you do have a Ba involved.

In cases of handoffs (surrogacy, secret halfclan kits being given to their other parent, etc) it's actually SUPER important you do it before 1 moon, so you can pass the disappearance off as a fading kit. There are no funerals thrown for fading kits besides the Mi and any Ba quietly burying the body, so this is the time where you smuggle the baby out.

So you need all the Ba on board with such a handoff, in addition. Cloudtail is an example of that actually! When Brightheart surrogates, he is fully aware of how many are ACTUALLY faders and who is receiving their child.

Tigerkit was like 3-ish moons when Pinestar hit da bricks, unfortunately there wasn't a way he could take him along... plus it wouldn't quite make sense with how he was having nightmares about murdering his son.

they honestly couldve done so much with junpei beheaded/dismembered and im disappointed that it ended up just being mira. so much of his character and his relationship with akane is characterized by his lack of bodily autonomy, and him being openly beheaded during the nonary games would be the ultimate example of this. its perhaps the most brutal death in the game, and it never really gets explained or developed beyond the one puzzle that we get with it. junpei has been shown repeatedly to be subject to akane's plans or follow her blindly and i just think that would have been a really interesting angle to approach his beheading from. junpei has willingly signed up for nonary games in two different timelines just because he knew he would see her. he was infected with a deadly virus trying to find her. he grew desensitized to death as he took underground jobs to try and find her. his safety always comes second when shes in the picture, and his beheading wouldve been a prime opportunity to 1. exploit his willingness to let himself die/be injured for her and 2. make akane confront the fact that her confidence that junpei will always follow after her is not necessarily a positive thing.

SONIC PRIME S2/1B EP1 IS SO GOOD NOT JUST FOR MAX SPECIFIC FANSERVICE (fighting hedgehogs with sick battle choreography) BUT ALSO BECAUSE the fact that shadow was pissed as shit at sonic for blowing up their world yet still deciding to Show and Explain things to sonic tells me two things

1. stealing sonic’s shit was not necessarily plan A, because if it were it is much easier and faster to not explain anything and simply try to rob sonic blind

2. he just wanted to beat sonic up for some catharsis . just have a little emotional release hes angy

excellent. fantastic. hes enriching his enclosure :) anyways so that means GENERALLY. i think he did have a “we” moment. it is far more efficient for Two hedgehogs to go through and gather the shards and put them back together even if one of those hedgehogs is sonic. w! cool. except sonic sees these shard variants of tails and the rest as their own people. not cool. thats not part of the plan. that probably counts as a weakness and hindrance bc shadow likely has a theory that taking the shards back will probably do some fucky stuff to the shatterspaces. that will ultimately result in plan A failing.
