Adrian Graye is genuinely so funny to me. Like... dude's a bastard, I'm not rooting for him. Which is why I find it really funny how he's having the WORST week of his life.

He gets sent to an school to brand the kids with sigils and not only this 12 years old sees through his illusion and alerts everyone, but later this same kid psychologically kicks his ass AND steals his little mirror thingie. His scouts also fail to capture the runaway Golden Guard. I bet he was planning to go back to the castle all triumphant having completed his mission successfully and more, but- nope, not happening.

He probably spent the next few days either comatose or unable to sleep, no in between. By the time that's over, he looks like a mess, he knows he looks like a mess and he hates it.

He gets like five minutes of smug satisfaction for having helped stop the CATTs plan but- nope. He actually helped ensure his own death. Like I can imagine those first moments where the pain from the sigil started crawling its way up his arm, he must have been like "are you fucking serious??? Fuck my life".

If they don't get rid of the covens system after all is said and done, I bet Adrian is quitting as soon as he can because literally everything went wrong for him ahsnsbdkdnd
