Every nation or group should have a leader not just a good leader but a very effective and efficient one. We truly can't deny that Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo, the executive minister of the Iglesia Ni Cristo is a good and wise leader. Ka Eduardo is a reflection of the quote “A Great Leader, is a Great Follower” and in God’s divine help and guidance, he still continues to lead and care for the church today.

The meaning of his name reflects his duty, the name Eduardo that was given to him by the Last Messenger, Ka Felix Y Manalo means guardian, and he is currently the Guardian of the Church and the Guardian of our Faith.

Bro. Eduardo V. Manalo's leadership is God-inspired. The victories and achievements of the Church of Christ are not the work of men but the work of Our Almighty God. The Church that came form a small and poor country and without any support of government and other organization is now recognized as one of the largest churches and fastest growing church in the world.

The present status of the Church of Christ (Iglesia Ni Cristo) is indeed the work of God, the fulfillment of God's promise to His messenger in these last days, Bro. Felix Y. Manalo. And continued fulfilling his promise to the present Executive Minister of the Church of Christ , Brother Eduardo V. Manalo.

As mentioned in the description of this blog I'm a trapped minister's kid of the Iglesia ni Cristo (INC) and the posts on this blog are sort of my prison letters.

The Iglesia ni Cristo (or Church of Christ in English) is a restorationist, non-trinitarian sect founded in the Philippines. More importantly, INC can be described as a high control religious group. The church administration is very keen on controlling the lives of its members by telling them that the path to heaven is making the church the center of their lives. Escaping the church as a regular member is hard enough but being a minister's kid makes it a near impossibility.

In the eyes of the church administration, the actions of a minister's kid is a reflection of the reputation and faith of the minister. So any mistake and disobedience I make will lead to my father's suspension, removal in the ministry, or even his own expulsion from the church. In short, my freedom comes at the risk of my parents becoming jobless, homeless, and penniless.

My very personal decision to leave will put decades of my father's dedication to the church down the drain. The cruelty of that still astounds me.

At the moment, I'm still a member. I attend worship services and fulfill my church duties and I'm going to have to keep doing those until I find a peaceful way out. But years of being silent about my true thoughts is killing me and I just need to express myself and finally have an ounce of freedom.

And who knows maybe someone on here is going through the same thing and will find comfort in not being alone.
