नई दिल्ली। कपास की खेती करने वाले किसानों की इस साल खूब बल्ले-बल्ले हुई है। बाजार में कपास को अच्छा भाव मिला है। एमएसपी से भी डबल दामों में कपास की बिक्री हुई। कपास की खेती किसानों के लिए सफेद सोना साबित हुई है।

लांग स्टेपल कॉटन का न्यूनतम समर्थन मूल्य 6025 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल है। जबकि बाजार में इसके भाव 12000 से 13000 रुपए प्रति क्विंटल चल रहा है। ऐसे में किसानों के लिए इस बार कपास की खेती सफेद सोना बनी हुई है।

पिछले साल प्रकृति के कहर से सभी फसल बर्बाद हुईं थीं। उधर कपास को अच्छा भाव भी नहीं मिला। जिसके चलते किसानों व बड़े व्यापारियों ने कपास का भंडारण भी कम ही किया गया। जिसके चलते इस बार कपास की फसल ने किसानों को अच्छा मुनाफा दिया है। और उम्मीद जताई जा रही है कि आने वाले सीजन में भी कपास की खेती फायदे का सौदा रहेगी।

कपास के बीज खरीदने लगे किसान

– कपास की खेती करने वाले किसानों ने कपास के बीज खरीदना शुरू कर दिया है। कपास के बीज बिक्री पर 31 मई तक रोक थी, अब बाजार में कपास के बीज की बिक्री शुरू हो गई है। अनुमान है कि बारिश होते ही कपास की बुवाई शुरू हो जाएगी।

कपास के पौधों का रखरखाव एवं बचाव

– कपास की खेती में जब पौधों में फूल लगने वाले हो तब खरपतवार पर ज्यादा ध्यान देना चाहिए। उस समय कई तरह के खरपतवार उग आते है, जिसमे कई प्रकार की कीट जन्म लेते है | यही कीट पौधों में कई तरह के रोग उत्पन्न करते है। इन रोगो से बचाव के लिए ही खरपतवार नियंत्रण पर अधिक ध्यान देना चाहिए। इसके लिए समय-समय पर कपास के खेत की निराई – गुड़ाई करते रहना चाहिए। खेत में बीज लगाने के 25 दिन के बाद से ही निराई-गुड़ाई शुरू कर देनी चाहिए। इससे पौधों के विकास में किसी तरह की रुकावट नहीं आती है, तथा पौधे अच्छे से विकास भी कर पाते है।

कैसे करें कपास की फसल की सिंचाई

– कपास की खेती में बहुत ही कम पानी की जरूरत होती है, यदि फसल बारिश के मौसम में की गयी है तो इसे पहली सिंचाई की आवश्यकता नहीं होती है, और यदि खेती बारिश के मौसम में नहीं की गयी है तो 45 दिन के बाद सिंचाई कर देनी चाहिए। कपास के पौधे अधिक धूप में अच्छे से विकसित होते है इसलिए पहली सिंचाई करने के बाद जरूरत पड़ने पर ही इसकी सिंचाई करनी चाहिए किन्तु पौधों में फूल लगने के वक़्त खेत में नमी की उचित मात्रा बनी रहनी चाहिए जिससे पौधों के फूल झड़े नहीं, किन्तु अधिक पानी भी नहीं देना चाहिए इससे फूलो के ख़राब होने का खतरा हो सकता।
