THEY MEAN THE WORLDDDDD TO MEEEEEE for some reason a lot of people in the fandom don't play Ace Attorney 5 which is fair since it's kind of messy BUT. BUT. IT INTRODUCES ATHENA AND DOES SOOOO MUCH FOR THE WRIGHT ANYTHING AGENCY. In AA4 we learn that Trucy Wright made the Wright Talent Agency into the Wright Anything Agency in order to bring Apollo in as a lawyer when before it was just her (a magician) and her adopted father Phoenix (a poker player). and AA5 is all about Athena joining and Apollo learning how to trust her, at least it is to ME. they're so gooddddd aaaaaaa like you've got Phoenix and Trucy who are weirdos who love to scheme and you've got Apollo their longsuffering guy who deals with it all, and Phoenix is the mentor... and then Athena comes in and she has a lot of light and determination and trauma (just like the rest of them lol) and she's SO determined and I like her a lot!! And Trucy is my favorite and Phoenix cares about her SO much but he also has his other found family in the Feys!!!!!! Mia dies in the first game but her ghost stays with Phoenix and her sister/cousin Maya and Pearl are SO IMPORTANT TO HIM he loves them so much that's his sisters to me ;-; he would do anything for them and Trucy and he's growing as a mentor to Apollo and Athena too as the game progress... They don't write them all perfectly but they sure do a lot of things I like :) also feel free to split this up into their Wright Anything Agency or Phoenix + the Feys or Phoenix + Trucy if you need to I won't mind I just love AA's found family a lot

Picture this. You are a attorney in your mid 20s and somehow find yourself surrounded by weird little girls with every case you take on. You officially adopt one but really, all of them are either sisters or daughters to you. Especially your loud, burger-loving lesbian sister. Your childhood friend turned rival turned lover, who has a whip-wielding adoptive sister of his own, goes on a series of investigations while messing around with a furry for a couple of weeks and returns with two 17 year old children, a thieving lesbian and a child with a narcissistic murderer for a father who should've kept him back in school a few grades. Your lover has each of them under an arm, and they are appended to your stable of weird little girls but are very much hidden in the back. Then you find out that your daughter, the official one, has a 22yo trans half-brother with a musical diva mother and was half raised as a prince in Khura'in, so you divorce his boss (who is not your official lover, you just had a weird thing for a while when you were in your alcoholic phase, maybe while your actual lover was still messing around with the furry) very publicly while sending him to prison for murdering your daughter's father. Oh, but you have been disbarred, so you make your daughter's son send his own boss to prison, by planting false evidence on him. Of course the young man punches you in the face. Needless to say he works for you for a couple of years and never finds out that he's related to your daughter because that would require a straightforward conversation, now wouldn't it?

Theyre very weird and misteruous and kinda fucked up a bit and they were through a lot but phoenix did his best and trucy well she's still just a kid but oh she's trying so fucking hard and always trying to wear a smile and it's breaking my heart the two of them. Also theyre weird i already said that but let me say it again they are WEIRD. and we love them<3 (the ace attorney fandom)

Ace Attorney has some wonderful found families, but this one's particularly special because of their circumstances. An exchange student and his unhinged weirdgirl assistant from Japan feeling so out of place in turn-of-the-century Great Britain, yet finding a completely batshit insane family during their time there...it's just so <3 <3 <3 Also Ryunosuke calls them "the greatest family in the world" and it makes my heart happy. Also they commit lots of crimes

30 Ace Attorney Headcanons!

I just want to say that I'm not making ANY TGAAC headcanons because they are gonna be my trump card. I'll post all my TGAAC headcanons as I come up with more headcanons. So when I make a whole part dedicated to TGAAC, that means I don't have enough headcanons of the main series to make a part of this series.

Oh and btw, you may have already realized/realised this by now but in every part, I have spoilers for all games.

1. To honor/honour Clay's death, Klavier is dedicating a full album to songs about space. Some may have sad lyrics.

2. Some of Klavier's fans used to ship him with Daryan, they thought Daryan x Klavier is cute. The prosecutors' building all spent HOURS laughing at the fanart, reading fanfictions and not being able to complete a full sentence without giggling. Now that Daryan is gone, some ship him with Lamiroir.

3. Kristoph and Klavier's parents were awful human beings. Kristoph killed his father but couldn't kill his mother, it was too heavy of a burden for him especially because she wasn't as awful.

4. Kristoph never really wanted to become a defense attorney, his parents forced him.

5. Nahyuta became a prosecutor to be Apollo's rival.

6. Sebastian, Miles and Kay all watched the execution of Blaise.

7. A lot of prosecutors visit the WAA weekly or even daily because they have friends, relatives or partners [if you are a shipper] there.

8. Miles decided to make Nahyuta's office and Simon's office right next to each other to compare the colours/colors. Simon's office is all dark and edgy with no colors/colours other than Black, grey and a hint of white, meanwhile Nahyuta's office is all white with some light colours/colors [mostly light pink] and a hint of gold. Even the doors are different colors/colours.

9. The prosecutors' building is all carpeted and has bookshelves, couches, plants and special accessories for each door to make it more like a big house rather than a building with offices in it. And all offices have changed designs to be like small apartments. All of this was Klavier, Simon, Nahyuta, Kay, Ema and Sebastian's doing.

10. When Ray asked Kay to become a recruit of the Yatagarasu, she said "I'm sorry but we're only accepting young, bright, cheerful and energetic girls." and later on, she accepted Trucy, Ema and Athena.

11. When Miles asked about the animals in the prison, Ray said "Each prisoner is assigned an animal." Simon got his hawk in prison and named him Taka.

12. Because Simon got Taka in prison, Taka has a microchip embedded under the bird's skin.

13. Simon thinks that he was a loser before the UR-1 incident.

14. Simon actually got his coat from his parents who passed away. That why he never takes it off.

15. Franziska had a sister who is 17 years older than her and was kicked out of the household at 16. So she never met her sister.

16. Trucy visits Valant every week in prison.

17. Lana and Aura bonded in prison over the fact that they both have a woman that they miss so much who was murdered. [Lana misses Mia and Aura misses Metis. Both were murder victims.]

18. Kay and Sebastian have sometimes accidentally called Miles "Dad".

19. Athena used to call Aura "Mama Aura" and used to call Metis "Mommy Metis".

20. All prosecutors bonded over the fact that they all have more trauma than years in their life. I'll post the conversation they had in a separate post.

21. Phoenix still has the sweater that says "Ryu" on it, the red scarf, has the beanie that says "Papa" on it and the jacket that he had during his unemployed phase.

22. Iris is now out of prison and she visits the WAA every week.

23. Franziska sometimes goes to the Khura'in kingdom and to the village. The kids there absolutely LOVE her.

24. Ahlbi became friends with Pearl. She treats him like a younger brother because he is about 10 years younger than her.

25. Despite what she says, Franziska is actually really good with kids. She used to always play with Pearl and Trucy when they were kids and now she always plays with Ahlbi.

26. Trucy comes on stage with various assistants. Sometimes, she would bring a relatives of a friend as her assistant. So far she has brought Phoenix, Apollo, Athena, Klavier, Maya, Pearl, Jinxie, Franziska, Ahlbi, Simon, Clay before he died, Sebastian, Kay and Ema. She plans on bringing Nahyuta or Rayfa next.

27. The phantom made Simon wear a shock collar, that's how he would electrocute Simon whenever he pleases.

28. Simon and the phantom had a "friendship bracelet" so after the big reveal, Simon took the phantom's bracelet and put it on the REAL Fulbright's wrist before he was buried.

29. Iris and Dahlia are both natural redheads, Iris dyed her hair so she wouldn't be mistaken for Dahlia.

30. Aura is actually transsexual [Someone who had surgeries and/or took medication to become the opposite gender] and you may be asking about my evidence. My evidence is that she has yaoi hands and the resemblance between her and young Simon is way too much.

Franziska didn’t really get to do Halloween before Miles came to the house, both because she was little and it wasn’t a priority. (Also they’re german so it’s not really a thing for them. VK wouldn’t have celebrated it even when he was in country.) But he asks what she wants to dress up as and her eyes get all big when he explains the holiday and now Miles is taking her out.

She is dressed up like Papa. He couldn’t come so the effect is greatly diminished but she still loudly proclaims that she’s the Best prosecutor when people ask. Puffs out her little chest like ‘guess!’ After a few houses of ???? that’s what she thinks prosecutors dress like? Miles just takes to saying she’s dressed up like her Father. That gets a great deal more cooing.

Miles isn’t dressed up but people keep thinking he is. They get a fair amount of candy before Franziska starts shivering because its COLD. But she wants to keep going!!! More candy Miles!!!! He says Missile is getting cold and they have to turn around, but they’ll hit the houses that look good.

They pour out their bags like Larry, Phoenix and him did last year so they can swap for the stuff they like best. Franziska is four and never had access to this much candy before. She immediately starts stuffing her chubby little baby face with it. He has to slow her down because if she gets sick there is No way they get to do this again.

She spends a Great deal of time every year thinking of matching costumes for them to wear. Miles Objects but is frequently subjected to them anyway. He takes her every year until she’s 9 and declares that she’s too old for trick or treating because she’s an Adult.

He stares at the carefully crafted matching costumes peeking out from where they were stuffed under her bed. Sighs and shakes his head. “I already signed us up for the trick or treating on campus Franziska. It would be unprofessional to back out now.” Which is enough to get her out one last time.

He watches her carefully meter out her candy because she can Only eat x amount in y time so she must carefully ration it out like an Adult especially since she isn’t going anymore- because Again. She is an adult. He sits across from her and lets her ‘trade’ her worst candy neither of them will eat for the best ones at unfair prices and wishes he could tell her you’re not an adult. And you shouldn’t have to pretend to be one. But he knows that’d just make her angry so he just quietly lets her take all the best candy and laments not getting to go again.

5 Favorite Fics

RULES: WHEN YOU GET THIS, REPLY WITH YOUR FAVORITE FIVE FICS THAT YOU'VE WRITTEN, THEN PASS ON TO AT LEAST FIVE OTHER WRITERS. I was tagged by @altairattorney Thank you, sweetie! Well, here's the thing: I've written exactly 5 fics! Therefore, I will give my personal recommendation for each of them. I love them all for different reasons, but I've found that some give a better idea of my writing and approach than others. Starting with: 1. The Heart in the Hearth (17 April 2016) At almost 45k, this is a longfic I am very proud of. Though it is my first ever fanfic, it is also the one that I wrote with purest clarity of action. It's about spaces in the original trilogy that are skipped over in the game. I wrote it to fill in those gaps where I thought it would be interesting, especially where the Feys are concerned, but I also wrote it as a story of the narumitsu relationship where both of them are asexual. As an ace person, I wanted to create authentic ace representation while also paying tribute to and writing about a ship that I am invested in like no other. I think this fic will give readers a good feeling of what my approach is to AA fanfic and to AA in general. Readers have called this fic gentle, tender, and touching, with an all-encompassing love, and I could not agree with them more (or thank them enough)! 2. Per Diem (21 September 2016) Much like the above, this fic will give a clear idea of what my concept of AA in fanfic is. These are short prompt fills that feature characters individually or in groups. I really enjoyed the chance to approach the cast with a colorful range of ideas from the prompts. Unlike the above, they're mostly outside of or unconcerned with the canon timeline. It gave me the chance to touch on things that interest me but I've been unable so far to write into other stories: Phoenix's unmentioned traumas, Miles and Phoenix's travels to Europe, how Phoenix and Miles may deal with everyday tensions or unique challenges between them, Miles experiencing a dangerous panic attack, Pesu, and A Beach Episode(TM) (which I may actually be writing about in a story later but sshh). Because I feel my style is naturally concise already, it was fun to craft these short one-shot drabbles well enough to say everything I wanted to. 3. your fiery air (20 August 2016) This story is kinda experimental and my first foray into AU. I wanted to try something a little dark and thrilling, a 180 degree change from my other writing. I think it has strong writing and imagery. This is an AU because Phoenix is an actual phoenix with a divine force inside him and it concretely takes place in Los Angeles, but everything else about the universe remains unchanged--he is still trying to be a lawyer, Edgeworth was his childhood friend, he is a junior partner with Mia, Edgeworth is a Los Angeles County District Attorney with the same background, and the same timeline happens as in the games. I did not spend time rewriting the events of the games, but wrote about important events totally unique to the 'verse that would impact the events of the games and touched on how select events might be different. This story has been called "weird, but good" and tbqh 'weird, but good' is my overall life goal. 4. These Children Are Not Objections, But I Will Raise Them! (5 December 2016) This story is kind of a mashup of THITH and PD, as far as what it shows about my writing. It's the sequel to THITH, but while I had stayed true to the canon timeline in that story, I was forced in this one to confront my problems with the post-OT and to figure out for myself what would happen if the story were to continue. So, it has the same intentions and base as THITH, but it also has the ingenuity/creativity and unconcerned-with-canon flavor of PD. Frankly, I cherry-picked what interested me in post-OT, added some inbetween material to hold the cherries, and baked it into a pie (Picture of Special Agent Dale Cooper smiling with cherry pie goes here)(yes dørling I thought of your Photoshop!). I wanted to explain my ideas about Phoenix's disbarment and adoption of Trucy, and I wanted to expand on the wonderful themes Kay and Sebastian's stories enrich Edgeworth's story with, while also including what I see happening for them. I still have mixed feelings about this fic because I think I could have said much more, but I like it much more than I did before. It has lovely moments that I'm proud of. 5. Surrender the Land (17 January 2017) This is a oneshot that was written after I got the idea while reading matsuorka's 1001 times fic, and it's a gift to her! A reader would get a richer appreciation if they've read that first, but since it's technically outside canon, anyone can play. It's one scene and takes place over an evening at the immortal Miles Edgeworth's home, when he is visited by the time traveler Phoenix Wright. The scene is of them together in that unique way they have with each other, peaceful, and respecting the trust they have in each other. Phoenix learns one of Miles' secrets, of which he has many, and recieves it in a way only he can do. I loved writing the stoic Edgeworth of this 'verse, and writing them in the 1800s. Plus, Phoenix makes his crush laugh, what more can you ask for. 30 Ace Attorney Headcanons! LET'S GIVE THE GAVINNERS SOME CLOSURE, SHALL WE?

1. Klavier used to perform solo 90% of the time.

2. Klavier would do choreography and dance in his concerts for the majority of his concerts.

3. Klavier used to do at least 3 concerts on pride month, he would write the songs like 5 or 6 months before pride month to get ready for it. And every single concert he would have the rainbow pride flag on his shoulders and he would perform the dance with it. He would also draw 2 pride flags on both his cheeks for every concert.

4. Clay was a fan of Klavier, so becoming great friends with him felt like a dream to Clay.

5. Klavier adores space and robots, so becoming friends with Clay was like a dream to him too.

6. So, there is another headcanon that Clay was Apollo's assistant, and now this headcanon is that Clay was also Klavier's assistant on some cases. But if the case is Apollo vs. Clay, he will assist neither.

7. Miles got Franziska her first whip.

8. Apollo thinks that the most boring killer he's encountered was Alita Tiala and the most petty killer he's ever encountered was Roger Retinz.

9. Characters in-universe are actually scared of Kristoph Gavin.

10. In Simon's first case, the defendant was the phantom in disguise. The defendant was found guilty but escaped prison.

11. The phantom kills people and steals their identity, he was also plotting to kill Simon because Aura asked Miles to accuse Athena of the murder of Metis. The phantom wanted to kill Simon but sadly, he was surrounded by guards and officers did not leave Simon alone when his execution got delayed.

12. Simon had a eeny meeny teeny weeny shrivelled little small crush on the "Fulbright" before you know what.

13. Dhurke knew who Apollo's mother was but since the news that spread at the time were "Thalassa Gramarye's husband and son died in a fire in a foreign country" she couldn't take her son back. So Dhurke always contacted Thalassa to tell her how Apollo is doing.

14. When Trucy and Apollo were told they're related, Trucy looked at Apollo and proceeded to call him "Onii-chan" and he told her to never do that ever again.

15. The Gavins and von Karmas are German with Dutch/British ancestry.

16. Barok from TGAAC is actually Dutch. Read headcanon 15 again. You know where I'm going with this.

17. Pearl sometimes channels Clay for Apollo.

18. When Clay wanted to go on his first space mission, Apollo had a gut feeling that it was gonna be dangerous, Clay ignored him and went to the mission. The last thing Clay though of was Apollo.

19. Nahyuta and Apollo can throw hands. They've more than once had to fight royal guards ever since the age of 5. Nahyuta saved Apollo multiple times and Apollo saved Nahyuta multiple times.

20. Kristoph told Klavier to NOT be friends with Daryan that I accidentally spelled his name as "Dadyan" and it autocorrected to "Daddy", but Klavier ignored that and became good friends with him.

21. Aura hated "Fulbright" the second she saw him. She knew something was odd about him.

22. Kay and Sebastian were 2 of the people that Aura took hostage.

23. Nahyuta is still in denial about Dhurke's death and Apollo is still in denial about Clay's death.

24. Clay was a HUGE fan of the Gramaryes and he also became a friend of Trucy's. Imagine his happiness.

25. A little while after Aura went to prison, when the phantom went to prison to she "just wanted to talk to him", Godot, Matt, Kristoph and Lana were all trying to stop her but no one could do anything.

26. Mia and Phoenix went up the same high school. Years later, Maya went to the same one. And some years later, Trucy went to the same high school. The same math teacher taught all of them. The math teacher said "They get more crazy and insane by each generation."

27. Pearl didn't know how to read until she became friends with Trucy when she was 9 and Trucy was 8. Pearl gets all the lessons and topics from Trucy, everyday after school she goes to the Kura'in village or Pearl comes to the WAA and they study together.

28. Pearl assisted Trucy in some of Trucy's magic shows. Jinxie also assisted Trucy on some shows.

29. Jinxie is trying to become more confident and more fearless, Pearl and Trucy are helping her with that.

30. Bonny, Betty, Pearl and Jinxie all became friends through Trucy.

AN EXTRA CRACK HEADCANON:

31. Capcom has got my back. The day I'm out of headcanons, Capcom will release AA7 for me to make more headcanons.
