can i request little!SMC taking care of baby hyo? 🥺
hi anon! :) aaabsolutely! i think they would love taking care of a teeny tiny hyo
fishing
|| little!dachaetzu, little!jihyo ||
"Okay, girls. Mommy and I are just going to be gone for 30 minutes. Can you take care of your Hyo until we're back?" Jeongyeon bent over, making sure the three girls were paying attention.
"Yes, mama!" They all shouted in unison, looking over at Hyo who was currently only interested in the red plastic ball she was trying to put in her mouth.
Once Jeongyeon left with Nayeon and Hyo had finally realized that her mamas were gone, the waterworks started.
Chaeyoung was the first one to notice, looking at the other two littles to see if they knew what to do.
"Well, what does mommy usually do when Hyo's crying?" Dahyun looked at Tzuyu who just shrugged her shoulders, going over to Hyo. She picked the baby up and sat her in her lap, but Hyo wanted nobody but her mamas.
"Maybe Hyo's hungry?" Tzuyu moved quickly to catch the baby's head before she tipped over.
Chaeyoung nodded, rushing to the fridge to find the yogurt she had seen her mamas feed her. Chaeyoung sat beside the two littles and the baby, holding the yogurt up to see if Hyo would eat it.
"Look, Hyo. You like the blueberry yogurt." Chaeyoung smiled but it was quickly turned into a frown when Hyo took one look at the yogurt and started to cry even louder.
The littles sighed and watched as Chaeyoung walked back to the fridge. Before she made it to put the yogurt away, she tripped over the ball that Hyo had been playing with. She squeezed the yogurt, causing it to shoot up and land on her head. She caught herself before she fell but now, she was covered in blueberry yogurt.
Chaeyoung turned around and once Hyo caught sight of her, her tears quickly turned into giggles. Dahyun and Tzuyu looked down at Hyo and then up at Chaeyoung, laughing themselves.
Chaeyoung looked at her reflection in the oven door and chuckled, throwing the now empty yogurt away before she wiped herself off. When she joined the three on the floor, Hyo was still laughing.
At least she was laughing now instead of crying, but that would only last so long. The littles took what limited time they had to try and come up with a plan to entertain the baby for the next 25 minutes.
The littles spread a few of Hyo's playmats out in the living room. The little tied some of her toys with string and held them as they sat on the couch. Hyo was sitting on one of the mats, one of her balls in her hand as she looked at her sisters, confusion evident on her face.
Dahyun was the first to wiggle one of the toys in front of Hyo. "Do you to go fishing, Hyo?" Dahyun smiled, moving the strawberry teether a little closer to the baby.
Hyo's face lit up when she realized what it was and leaned forward to grab it. Dahyun pulled it back a little bit, causing Hyo to whine and pout, but when Dahyun put it closer to her again, she caught it. She pulled on it and excitedly shoved the teether in her mouth, happily giggling.
Chaeyoung was the next to hold one of Hyo's toys out. She had one of her big plastic rings and she knew that Hyo absolutely loved those. As soon as Hyo saw it, she dropped the teether on the mats and crawled over to the ring. She sat down and reached out for it, now understanding the game the littles were playing with her.
Hyo's happy laughter filled the room each time she grabbed for the toy, laughing even harder when she would get the toy from the girls. Tzuyu took a few pictures for her mamas, enjoying how happy the baby was.
"Yay! Hyo got the butterfly!" Tzuyu clapped her hands, watching as Hyo excitedly waved the butterfly in the air before setting it back down, eyes already on the next toy that Chaeyoung was holding up.
"This one's gonna be harder, Hyo." Chaeyoung had a small star on her new string, waving it back and forth a little faster. Hyo really had to work to get this one, but she was loving every second of it. Once she finally got the star, all three littles cheered, watching in adoration as Hyo stuck the star in her mouth, constant giggles leaving her.
After almost 15 minutes of Hyo's fishing, she was finally tired. She laid crawled over to Dahyun, holding her hands up so she could sit in the little's lap. Dahyun smiled and picked Hyo up, kissing the top of her head as the baby settled into her sister's chest.
Hyo let out a content sigh and babbled quietly before closing her eyes, snuggling even further into Dahyun. Thanks to the littles making up that fun game, Hyo didn't need to worry that her mamas weren't there to love her and pay attention to her.
By the time they got back, Nayeon and Jeongyeon were surprised at the sight on the couch. Hyo was cuddled up with Dahyun while Chaeyoung and Tzuyu were watching TV. They didn't doubt that the littles would be able to take care of their baby, but they didn't think they'd be able to get her to sleep like this.
Nayeon cooed at the sight and took a few pictures before she sat down beside her babies. She whispered a quick thank you to each other them and tried to pry Hyo off of Dahyun so she could put her baby down for a proper nap, but Hyo wouldn't budge. Her grip on Dahyun's shirt got tighter and a small whine fell from her lips.
Hyos mamas were never ones to argue if she was asleep. If their baby wanted to lay on Dahyun, then she could lay on Dahyun.
Hyo quickly settled back into Dahyun, a small smile on her lips as she drifted back to sleep.
"What did you guys do with Hyo?" Jeongyeon sat beside Nayeon, surprised that Hyo was so quickly asleep.
"We played fishing." Chaeyoung whispered, pointing to the toys still tied with string on the playmats.
The littles mamas looked over at the playmat, eyebrows raised in curiosity. If fishing was such a successful game, then maybe they'd have to try it sometime.

thinking about sanayeon dragging everyone into another party and sana gets drunk with SMC and starts spilling her guts out to them about momo again and they have to drag her out of there before momo hears any of it (or sees sana crying) 😭😭
Aw yeah, poor baby 🥺 I actually had a similar thought.
So much of this au is just about them taking care of each other. There's so much love in the little families you find when everyone's away from home for the first time and needs someone to lean on 😢
this got long sorry! lol
cw alcohol
...
Sana was certainly drunker than she normally got at these parties, but Dahyun just chalked it up to a stressful week after midterms. She danced through the house, pulling anyone she vaguely recognized into a tight hug and leaving Dahyun to follow in her wake, carefully removing the older girl and calling out a quick apology as she pushed her along. She finally got her past the kitchen doorframe, where she found Tzuyu and Chaeyoung had somehow gotten the room to themselves and were making use of it. Sana wolf-whistled. Or, tried to.
“Ooooooooooh – look at youuu twooo!” she slurred, and Chaeyoung jumped back away from Tzuyu, who she’d had against the fridge. “The maknaes in loooove…”
Chaeyoung just laughed and told her to fuck off while Tzuyu blushed, looking like she wanted to melt into the appliance behind her. Sana giggled but lost her balance, Dahyun catching her and holding her steady.
“Wow, someone’s having fun tonight.” Chaeyoung raised her eyebrows.
“A little too much.” Dahyun remarked. She nodded at the fridge and Chaeyoung understood, pulling out a water bottle, opening it, and handing it to Sana. Sana shut her eyes and shook her head. “Please, Sana.”
“Come on, you have to have at least a little. Or you’ll be so sick tomorrow.” Chaeyoung pushed the bottle towards her.
“I’ve drank –” She hiccupped, “I’ve drank enough fluids for a lifetime tonight, thank you.”
“Sana.” Dahyun whined.
“Duubuuuu.” She whined back, pinching her cheeks.
“Unnie,” Tzuyu took the water bottle from Chaeyoung and held it out to Sana. “Please have just a bit. I will, too, if you do.”
Sana giggled. “Okay, Tzu, anything for you.” And she downed half of it. Tzuyu smiled triumphantly and Dahyun rolled her eyes.
“Ya! Kim Dahyun!” She wheeled around to the kitchen entrance to face the source of the voice. Jeongyeon stood leaning on the doorfame, very nearly as drunk as Sana. Her sleeves were rolled up, her shirt unbuttoned further than perhaps she realized, and some of her hair was in two little pigtail sprouts atop her head. “Jihyo and Nayeon are talking shit again! I need my little buddy to help kick their asses in pong!”
Dahyun turned back towards Sana, who was now hanging off Tzuyu in a bone-crushing hug.
“You go. We’ll babysit.” Chaeyoung smiled. “Wouldn’t want No Jams over here making a drunken fool of herself in front of her girlfriend.”
“Really? I thought that was exactly what we came here to see.”
“I can hear you.” Jeongyeon couldn't hide her smile. "And she's not my girlfriend."
"Okay, bigshot. Let's go play." Dahyun sighed, following her wobbly friend to the pong table.
Jeongyeon didn’t make a fool of herself in front of Mina, or if she had, Mina didn’t notice. Mina offered to drink for Dahyun in the game since Dahyun preferred to stay sober at these things, so they became a three-man team. By the end of it Jeongyeon’s arm was around Mina’s waist as she made the game-winning throw with her other hand. Everyone erupted into cheers and Nayeon started yelling about Jeongyeon being ‘over the line’.
Dahyun quickly ducked away from the table as they celebrated – she didn’t want to be amidst the chaos or have any more beer dumped on her shoes. Everyone around them had been plastered and she was sure already forgot she was the one to be celebrated anyway. She should probably get back to Sana.
Before she could do anything, though, something caught her eye. From across the room, she could see Momo flirting with one of her old hookups, sitting in his lap and leaning in dangerously close. Dahyun’s heart dropped into her stomach. She made a beeline for the kitchen when Tzuyu found her, tugging on her arm.
“She’s upstairs, come on.”
“Did she see?”
Tzuyu frowned. “She’s distraught. She’s not thinking straight.”
Dahyun heard her before she saw her – the cries echoed down the hallway and Dahyun’s heart shattered.
“I know.” Chaeyoung was whispering as they got into the room and closed the door tightly.
“I-it hurts!” Sana sobbed, face hidden in Chaeyoung’s neck. She sat on the floor with the girl, leaned into her and hiding her face. Chaeyoung rubbed her back. “My fault… it – it hurts to see her –”
“Not your fault at all. Love happens. Crushes happen.”
“I w-want her to… I want… Her to…” Sana was hyperventilating.
Dahyun quickly sat on the other side of her and threw an arm around her, holding her as close as she could. Providing any sort of pressure to calm the girl down as she continued to babble out nonsense.
“Shh, Sana.” Dahyun whispered. “It’s okay. We know, you don’t have to explain.”
“Why’s – why does… it hurts so much.” She cried.
“I know, Unnie.”
“I just w-want to be loved. What's wrong with me?”
“You are so loved.” She kissed the top of her head. “You are the most loveable, wonderful shining light in the world.”
Sana didn’t answer her. Before she could say anything further, a knock at the door made them all jump.
“Dahyun? What’s happening in there – Tzuyu? Why did you leave so *hic* urgently?” Nayeon’s shaky voice met their ears. Tzuyu looked back at Dahyun, eyes wide.
“We’re okay, Unnie.” Tzuyu called back.
“Then let me in.”
“Unnie…” Tzuyu floundered for something to say. Dahyun sighed and got up, nodding at Tzuyu to take her place by Sana’s side.
“Don’t – Please –”
“I won’t tell her, Sana. Let me just go calm her down. She’s worried.” Dahyun said, and with that she slid out the door, keeping it as closed as she could and hoping the party drowned out the noise of Sana’s labored breathing.
“Unnie-”
“No, Dahyun, what’s going on? Who’s crying in there?”
Shit. Okay.
“Sana’s just having a rough night-”
Nayeon started for the door and Dahyun blocked her.
“What the hell?”
“She doesn’t want to see anyone right now. She’s, uh, worried she’s a mess. She just – has a stomach ache.” Nayeon cocked an eyebrow as she said it, and Dahyun wondered how the girl had gone from so drunk to seeming nearly sober in a flash. This was going to be harder than she thought.
“Dahyun, she drank a lot. If she has a stomach ache-”
“We can take care of her. She doesn’t want to ruin anyone’s night. We’ll take her back to our dorm. And take care of her.”
“If she’s really feeling that bad, it could be alcohol poisoning. Let me in to check on her.”
Dahyun sighed. This route obviously wasn’t going to work. Nayeon wasn’t going to give up if Sana’s safety was involved. She kicked herself for the lame excuse.
“Unnie.” She sighed. “She doesn’t – ah. She doesn’t have a stomach ache. She’s been having a really rough time this week and she doesn’t want to talk about it yet. She asked us not to tell anyone. Please, Unnie, she’s drunk and it’ll break her trust if I let you in there right now after saying I wouldn’t. Please just let us take care of it.”
Nayeon scrutinized her for a second. Then, she sighed in defeat – a rare sight but one that took a huge weight off Dahyun’s chest.
“Okay. Fine. I’m trusting you. Did you drink a lot? Chaeyoung did, and Tzuyu a little-”
“I didn’t drink anything. I’m okay. I can take care of them.”
“Okay.” Nayeon nodded. “Good girl. What can I do to help?”
Dahyun smiled. “Thank you, Nayeon. Really. Um… We want to get her out and home without anyone seeing her.”
“I can create a diversion, no problem.”
“Yes, perfect. Thank you. That’d be great. Just…” Dahyun bit her lip. “She doesn’t want anyone to see her, okay? Just make sure… Everyone is…”
“I got it, Dahyun. Everyone, including and especially our friends, will be in the kitchen.”
“Thank you so much.”
Nayeon gave her a sad smile but nodded. Dahyun felt a pang of guilt. Then the older girl squeezed her shoulders and kissed her forehead – a little sappy when she’s drunk – and turned to go downstairs. They snuck Sana out after Nayeon’s loud, drunken insistence that everyone had to take a shot with her in the kitchen right now that left Dahyun wondering how drunk the girl actually ever was at these parties.
The perk of still living in a dorm near campus as sophomores meant that they were out of the frat house and in their quiet dorm within ten minutes. Sana had all but gone numb on the walk over, being basically held up by Chaeyoung and Tzuyu. Now she sat on floor against the door in only her crop top and underwear as Dahyun kneeled between her legs, softly taking the makeup off of her eyes with a damp cloth. She sniffled occasionally, unfocused eyes boring into some arbitrary point on Dahyun’s sleep shirt.
“I’ll get you some warm pajamas, Unnie.” Dahyun whispered. But Sana whined, hands now gripping the material of her own pajamas, pulling her closer and hiding her face. Dahyun gave in easily, sitting down next to her and putting an arm around her. “Okay. I’m here.”
It was a half hour before they were able to get her into pajamas and then into bed. They’d pushed together Dahyun’s and Chaeyoung’s bedframes to the center of the room, creating a space big enough for the four of them to sleep cuddled together with Sana in the middle. They’d made her eat a bit of rice and drink a lot of water and they put on a peaceful cartoon as her eyes drooped. Dahyun kept her arms around her the entire night.
It was an all too familiar routine at this point – though it usually started with way less vodka and a few less tears – but they were all willing to pick up the pieces as many times as it took.
