Lotus Emira GT4 (Is it just me, or all sports cars resemble each other)
The Emira GT4, while designed to compete in the lower tiers of the GT series, is nonetheless a serious brute. Right behind you, there’s that familiar Toyota-sourced 2GR-FE V6 engine. The regular Emira is fitted with a similar motor. The standard tune is more than sufficient for storming across a set of bends, but that’s not enough here.
At least, not sufficient to win trophies with. Instead, Lotus’ engineers have been hard at work fettling around with that engine. Now, it’s cranking out 400hp and is capable of revving up to 7,200RPM with all 3.5-litres of displacement. Although, these figures are merely placeholders for now. Depending on where the Emira GT4 is expected to race, it can be tweaked to meet the organisers’ regulations.
Therefore, you might see the actual output vary below or above 400hp. That dry-sump engine is then mated with Motec electronics and management. As well as, a revised Harrop TVS 1900 supercharger. It’s then paired with a state-of-the-art Xtrac 6-speed sequential gearbox, which could be actuated with a set of paddle shifters. The drive goes exclusively to the rear, and through a limited slip differential.
For a race car, the Emira’s extruded and bonded aluminium chassis naturally had to lose some weight. This is thanks to an array of lightweight materials, such as composite body panels and a set of forged aluminium wheels. In all, the Emira GT4 weighs 1,300kg without any fluids (aka dry weight). This will make it around 100kg lighter than the road-going Emira’s kerb weight of 1,405kg, which is decent.
Of course, let’s not forget the suspension tuning, which is just as crucial. The Emira GT4 rides on double wishbones front and rear and is made out of forged aluminium, at that. These are then fitted alongside upgraded bushes and anti-roll bars. On top of that, there are 2-way adjustable Ohlins TTX dampers. This is then suited up with a plethora of carbon fibre components, another key element of all this mass.The redesigned front splitter, rear diffuser, and massive rear wings are all made from carbon. You can get your livery painted from the factory, too. With that out of the way, we can finally move on to the most exciting bit of my day at Hethel – being driven around. Immediately, the outright pace of Lotus’ latest and greatest Emira GT4 is nothing short of astonishing, making mincemeat of every corner.

That's pretty powerful car for the size but the Corvette is about 150 horsepower more same size car and it goes up quite a bit faster no the fastest you can get up to with the stopping power of this this car on most roads the average about 5 mi stretch it's about 700 mph where is the Corvette you could probably get up to 800 and stop but our car you can get up to about $900 and stop we made it a little beefier slightly larger and because we made it larger we use wider tires in the Corvette has tires that are almost the same and the suspension that kicks ass and the Corvette suspension is 25% less maneuverability and this suspension on this vehicle is 30% less and Hera made her car and it's pretty much the same but here's a little beef here it's not bigger it's beefier they're both about the same speed his has a little less horsepower but it's lighter and hers has more horsepower and heavier in case you need it because you're heavy or have someone else in this heavy you can use it that's pretty smart and it is. The reason why they made this car less fast it's because they don't feel it's necessary and it probably is not it's only for the top dogs would be the amount of speed that we are going to deliver the car that we're making either one it's pretty high tech and it's pretty high performance and each will go for about $40,000 and he says that that probably wouldn't attract even these guys fishing out here because it's too cheap so he doesn't know what to do and what we say is we're going to offer a couple models and one will start at 40,000 and that will have will be smaller it's more like the esprit and it will have about 500 horsepower and it will go about 6 to 700 mph and it will handle like a dream then we'll offer a larger model which will look like a hyped up Corvette and hers looks like a hyped up lotus and they go about 900 mph and then the final and that would be about 70,000 and hers would be about 75,000 and finally a third model and these are inexpensive by the way for the speed would be about 12:50 which is a hypercar speed and at about 120,000 now those prices are a little bit higher than we have to go and we'd hate to bring them down after those prices at the price of $95,000 this load of sells more cars than Corvette and Corvette sells more cars than any other high performance car on earth in the $75,000 model is comparable and $20,000 cheaper and about 200 mph faster both cars where is 120,000 version is a hyper car and there really are none for sale I'm going to start putting these out there and this difference has one too it's a little faster Vista fresh has one is faster it goes about 1500 miles per hour it was 130,000 and we expect to sell $700 million of the 120,000 version in the first few weeks and we're going to put it up for sale shortly and it will make Briggs & Stratton a famous company and Coleman. Keep in mind that these companies are our daughter and son and they have the majority ownership of the company and they control it and they're making a lot of products and they want people to be able to buy things.
Those are very special video the people who made this lotus were the ones who designed Corvette and they are one of the ones in the Walmart and the laundromat and they're kind of nuts lost it and it's because of the cars and other stuff they're doing but for real speed racers car is in the video and it has a 400 horsepower motor just like this car. You can buy the smaller two with a lesser motor in each and some people don't want to go that fast and we can tell you how fast but mostly the slowest they'll go and the small car will be around 300 and the larger the medium size car actually around 400 with the smaller motors that don't come standard I have to special order but a lot of people might do that it's very fast but they can handle at that speed and have the safety equipment you can also order 300 mph car and save money without the safety equipment 400 mph you need to safety equipment

Eletre, Evija and two Emiras wow the crowds at Goodwood Festival of Speed
It was an exceptionally busy day for Lotus at Goodwood Festival of Speed as crowds flocked to the stand for the world public debut of the Eletre.
The highly anticipated hyper-SUV was a star attraction. with visitors eager to see the car and ask questions of the many product specialists on hand. The bold, progressive and exotic EV has the soul of a Lotus and the usability of an SUV, and the retail team reported that several customers placed orders immediately after seeing it in the metal.
Yesterday also marked the premiere of the ultimate three-car garage from Lotus, as the Eletre was joined on stage by the beautiful Emira sports car and the pioneering Evija hypercar. Also there – in a vibrant yellow competition-inspired finish – was the Emira GT4 race car, unveiled just last month and already sold out for the first year.
All four cars are taking part in the iconic Goodwood Hill Climb over the weekend, with Formula 1 world champion Jenson Button behind the wheel and on the Lotus stand throughout the weekend.
Visitors were also treated to a ‘VIP walkaround’ of the Lotus stand, hosted by motoring TV presenter Andy Jaye. He interviewed Matt Windle, Managing Director, Lotus Cars; Ben Payne, Head of Studio at Lotus Tech Creative Centre and the man who led the Eletre design; and Russell Carr, Lotus Design Director and the man behind the Evija and Emira.
Matt Windle commented: “What an amazing first day at Goodwood – with such a passionate and knowledgeable crowd it never disappoints! The Lotus stand was busy from the moment the gates opened at 7am, and was great to see the fans new and old getting up close to our cars and chatting with our team. If day one was anything to go by, the rest of the weekend will be a massive success too!”
