#Louis treating him like a little brother the same way he treats the female fans like little sisters seems completely consistent and likely

Ok have been digging a bit and indeed people seem to ship them. Kinda get it now where to comes from seeing the pics from twitter and this guys obsession with having his shirt off and doing his Little Rock star thing. Kind of makes me sad. Would be such a massive step down from well certain other curly haired boys. But hey would not be the first time someone’s dick takes over the thinking
I mean.... I would be very surprised is all I'm saying, and I do agree that if Louis is in fact out there looking he very much can do better. But whether or not Louis is fucking that man, sending messages like this to him is terrible, can people NOT:

Engaged - part 2 (Lewis "Nix" Nixon)
Requested by: @real-fans (part 2) & @floydtab (fluff)
Summary: After the stressful yet successful evening of introducing your fiancé to your parents, here comes the second challenge - they invited you and Lewis Nixon to spend a weekend with them in a cottage.
Author's Note: There might or might not be another last part to this but I'm not sure.

Part 1
.
.
.
I'm a man. I'm not a hero.
When her parents announced her the offer, she was taken away by the sudden friendliness.
"Is this a test or are you genuinely asking me to visit our cottage with Nix?" Y/N questioned them, eyes narrowed, suspecting something.
"No! Honey, we really want to meet Louis!" her mother exclaimed with a warming smile.
"It's Lewis, mom. His name's Lewis."
"Just bring him along, Louis or Lewis. It's gonna be fun!"
But Y/N wasn't so sure about that. Her mother was convinced that the weekend's gonna be tremendous and that was exactly what made Y/N feel slightly uncomfortable.
•••
They sat quietly in the car next to each other holding hands, both of them lost in their own thoughts. Her parents were already there and waiting only for them.
"I'm not gonna lie, we're pretty fucked." Nixon broke the silence, his eyes didn't leave the road once as he was the one driving.
"They don't even remember you name! Could you believe that?" Y/N exclaimed staring out of the window completely irrelevant to the fact that Lewis just stated something.
"We're so damn pretty fucking fucked." he repeated as he was obviously in the same state of mind like her. Both of them panicking in their own heads. They didn't need anyone who responds but someone who listens.
•••
The dinner went surprisingly smooth. No bigger incident, no arguments, no death glare at anyone at the table.
"It's been going too well so far." Y/N whispered to Nix who was set next to her as they gathered in a living room to watch some TV.
"I'm expecting troubles, don't worry. Something's gonna happen." Nix smirked cupping her cheek quickly, "it has to."
"I hid another extra bottle of Vat '69 in your suitcase if there's gonna be a crisis."
Nixon's head shot up and he looked at her surprisingly. His eyes shined with sparkles and his happy smile that goldened his face was so contagious. "And that's why I love you so fucking much, Mrs Nixon." Lewis whispered leaning in for a kiss.
"You better not call me that in front of them. Plus you're being way too close to me than they'd like and that hand of yours on my inner thigh is not making it any better."
"I couldn't care less. The point is, do you like it?"
"Lewis Nixon, I'm literally going to marry you in two weeks. I think you know the answer very well."
Her father clapped his hands as he glanced at the duo with a suspicious  stare.
"So tell me, Jackson, how did you two get together?" her mother smiled probably too sweetly.
"It's Nixon, Lewis Nixon. Not Jackson." Y/N frowned being irritated about the way they treated the most important man in her life. "It's not that hard to remember it." she added quietly as she shook her head.
"Okay, I'll tell the story then." Nixon said glancing at her seeing her angry face.
•••
It didn't happen right away.
It took them quite a while to give in and admit each other's feelings. From the moment they both said "It's a can of peaches, sir." to Sobel, they started falling. Falling so deeply, dearly and completely in love with the other one.
But the breaking point took place in Dick Winters's room, right after the crossroads operation. Y/N was quietly sipping on her drink in the corner hidden in a shadow while Richard was writing the wanted report for Colonel Sink.
"Just allow yourself a short break, Dick. It doesn't have to be a novel." Y/N rolled her eyes as she poured herself another glass - apparently the last one. She placed the empty bottle back into the footlocker carefully with a cheeky smirk.
"You sound so much like Nix right now. If you two ever get together, the world will be in such a trouble." Dick chuckled, his eyed still fixated on the paper.
Y/N just started to open her mouth to respond with some snarky remark but she heard the door open and when Lewis Nixon stepped into the room with an empty bottle in his hand tapping on it, she decided to shut up.
Now it was Dick's turn to roll his eyes as he stood up and walked over to his footlocker opening it for Lewis to take his hidden Vat '69.
As soon as Winters sat down, Nixon immediately shouted "what the fuck" out loud with a confused yet angry expression on his face.
"It's empty!" the Captain exclaimed throwing his hands in the air. "The bottle's fucking empty!"
Silence fell upon the room. Nixon wasn't able to process the information.
"It's your footlocker but you're a non-drinker. So who the hell could possibly-" Lewis suddenly stopped as a wave of realisation flew over him. He turned slowly to the female Lieutenant who was trying so hard not to burst out laughing.
"You!" Lewis pointed at her taking a few steps towards her.
"I don't regret a single thing." Y/N giggled, her eyes shining and her smile so contagious Nixon simply had to chuckle too. He couldn't stay mad at her for too long.
"God knows you're lucky that I love you so fucking much."
And this sudden confession, those few words changed Lewis Nixon's and Y/N Y/L/N's life forever.
•••
"That's surely a way how to meet, Y/N. Drink his entire bottle of alcohol." her father frowned.
"With all respect, sir," Nixon interrupted, "I'm very happy she did so."
Her father stared at the duo clearly not satisfied with his daughter's choice of partner. Her mother rather didn't say anything just glancing from her to him.
"I know you're not pleased with Lew here and I love you, truly, but your opinion won't change my mind. I love this man next to me more than I love myself or more than I have anyone ever loved in my whole life. He saved me in every way possible a person can be saved. I will marry him so I'm asking you to overcome this problem and come to our wedding. We both be very happy to see you there." Y/N suddenly burst out, finally fed up with her parents' behaviour.
"I can assure you, Mr and Mrs Y/L/N, that I will take care of your daughter the best I can. I'd rather die than have something happen to her. She completes me." Nixon joined the conversation, being so serious as he unconsciously took Y/N's hand.
"Well," her father cleared his voice, "if you see it like that, you have my permission. But if you hurt her, I'll have your head served, okay?"
Nixon shuddered a little under his glare but forced himself to smile that soon turned into a genuine sincere grin, "Thank you, sir. It means a lot."
And for the first time, her father's face had a pleased expression.
Maybe he was the right person for her after all.
Maybe this is the person his daughter's gonna spend the rest of her life with.
"Welcome to the family, Nixon. Welcome to the family."

Louis is an intriguing person to me because while I can categorize guys into general categories I couldn't form an opinion about Louis. It feels like he's a very accepting person in general but I'd love to know about how he interacts with women who are not his sisters. Is he a conservative when it comes to women because he holds onto his roots otherwise, is his protective brother role a result of patriarchy or just his nature, is he respectful of women and their authority?
I think this is a really interesting question anon - I think you’re right that we have very little sense of how Louis thinks of women in any meaningful way.  And also that that’s quite strange.
(Although I am uncomfortable with the idea that being ‘true to his roots’ means being conservative towards women - as opposed to just being a man in a misogynist society.  And I think it’s another example of the way that middle and ruling class misogyny is normalised, by treating working-class misogyny as inherently misogynist (the same mechanism is used to normalise and hide white misogyny)).
We get a bit of a sense of how Louis thinks of men and masculinity (or at least some of the ways that he does).  It is very class and locations specific and it is also quite tied to an older man’s experience.  I find that quite interesting, because I don’t think this imagined experience is connected to an actual man (the way it is when Liam, Niall or Zayn gesture at the same idea).  And I wonder how much it’s tied with his feelings about what his options might have been.
Anyway, usually there’s an ‘other’ to the way men talk about men and masculinity - either explicitly or you can find the shape of it.  But I’ve no idea with Louis.
On the real basic level of language you can tell that Louis makes distinctions about gender - men are ‘lads’ while women are ‘love’ and ‘babe’.  But it’s almost impossible to get any sense what meaning he puts on that when it comes to women.  There’s obviously very particular view of women’s lives and sexuality for some of the songs he wrote on for 1D, but we don’t know what he contributed, and none of that carried over to his solo career.
He’s been in the public eye a lot, and talked about women implicitly or explicitly a lot - and we have no idea what he thinks of women’s roles in society, how that is different from men, their sexuality, and their bodies.  That is quite unusual - and probably something that needs explaining (it’s different from the other 1D members for example).
When it comes to his family we get a good sense of what he sees his role is.  There are definitely some elements of being a good Yorkshire lad in that (Jay knew what she was saying about him when she said he gave her money from his first paycheck).  But it’s not like he thinks his role ends with providing money - he’s also always done care work (the stories about his Mum’s friends being jealous that he’s does babysitting are particularly telling).  But while we get a sense of what he thinks his role should be, we don’t get any sense of what he thinks his sisters roles should be.  And I think we have a reasonably good idea that he doesn’t think he should have control over their lives (Phoebe and Daisy are making their own decisions about their lives).
The other thing that is really interesting to me is that he doesn’t seem to have any problem with the part of his job which is meeting the needs of women and girls.  He does’t withdraw from it, or seperate from it, and he seems to enjoy it.   (And definitely in wider society, meeting the need of female fans is something that is looked down upon).
But it’s really important to emphasise that he’s discriminating against women in his business practices.  Just because we can’t figure out how he thinks about women, doesn’t mean that he believes or practices equality. We have evidence that he doesn’t.
I really hope that this post reads as a question - as something I don’t know and I’m interested in (I know that’s very hard to do in fandom).  Are there things I’ve missed? Or examples I’m not thinking of. I’d love to hear other people’s thoughts.

One Direction singer Louis Tomlinson’s sister Felicite dies aged 18

The 18-year-old sister of One Direction star Louis Tomlinson has been found dead at home from a suspected heart attack.
The tragic death of Félicité, a fashion designer and Instagram star who had almost 1.3million followers, comes after Louis’ mother Johannah died from leukaemia in 2016.
Louis has been left ‘devastated and distraught’ by the death, the Sun reported, and praised his sister as ‘loveable, caring, bright and beautiful’ last night, sources close to the One Direction singer told the paper.
He has pulled out of tomorrow night’s Comic Relief, where he was due to perform his new single live as one of the headline acts.
She collapsed after a suspected heart attack at her fourth-floor studio apartment in Earls Court, West London, on Wednesday lunchtime.
It is understood police found no signs of drugs at the address. They say they are in the process of informing next of kin.
The death of Félicité — known as Fizzy — is being treated as ‘unexplained’ at this stage.
A full post-mortem examination will take place and toxicology tests will be carried out.

A spokeswoman for the Metropolitan Police said: ‘Police were called by London Ambulance Service at 12:52hrs on Wednesday, 13 March to a residential address in SW5, following reports of a female in cardiac arrest.
‘Officers attended. A female believed to be aged 18 was pronounced dead at the scene.
‘Police are in the process of informing her next of kin. At this stage the death is being treated as unexplained. A post-mortem examination will take place in due course. Enquiries continue.’
In her last Instagram post to her 1.3 million followers, four days ago, Felicite wrote: ‘Don’t know why I look so shocked’
Felicite was a social media influencer in her own right. This post from last summer received more than 110,000 likes

A London Ambulance Service spokesperson said: ‘We were called at 12:51pm yesterday to reports of an incident in Earls Court.
‘We sent two ambulance crews, a single responder in a car and an advanced paramedic to the scene.
‘Sadly, despite efforts of our medics, a person died at the scene.’
Louis, 27, was working in London last night when police informed him of his sister’s death. Other family members, in Doncaster, have also been notified.
The X Factor judge was extremely close to his sister. They regularly saw each other in London.
Last night a family source told the paper: ‘Félicité was an absolutely adored young woman who was loved by Louis and her whole family.
‘They are all totally devastated, as you can imagine.
‘She had so many friends and was such a positive happy person. It’s a massive loss to the world.
‘She was a loveable, caring, bright, passionate, popular and beautiful young lady.’

The Instagram star was close to her mother, who died in late 2016, and had a motif of the year Johannah she was born, 1973, tattooed on her.
She shared it online where she also spoke about Louis’s song, Two of Us, on Sunday.
Louis’s song, Two Of Us, is a tribute to the pair’s mother Johannah Deakin, who tragically succumbed to leukaemia three years ago, in December 2016.
Asked about it on Instagram, she said: ‘I cried my eyes out in the back of my Uber, but I loved the song filled me with hope.’
She told fans she would be ‘very different’ had her mother not died, writing: ‘Very different, in both good and bad ways, there is collateralized beauty in everything.’
Last month she posted a grab of Christina Aguilera’s song Hurt which is about the loss of a parent. She also retweeted a picture showing her resemblance to her mother.

Felicite was close to her siblings, and recently got their initials tattooed in old English letters, which added to an inking of a red snake on her left middle finger.
Asked if she was proud of her siblings, she said: ‘More than I can express — including the little ones.’
And she used her platform on Instagram to speak out about mental illness, writing on January 12: ‘I think there is a lot of stigma around addiction and the disease of addiction is misunderstood.’
She added: ‘Depression and anxiety is less stigmatised but there is still a lot of stigma around other mental illnesses.’
But asked about rumours she had been battling depression, Felicite wrote: ‘Everyone struggles with things in life especially if they suffer a huge loss or life changing event but I don’t think that’s something rumours should be spread about.
‘It should be up to the person to talk about it when and if they’re ready to.’
Felicite recently reminisced about her favourite moments with her older brother: ‘Car rides home from X Factor auditions, all giving opinions and being so excited and seeing him so excited.’

Louis’s estranged father, Troy Austin – who split from Johanna when Louis was just five, revealed in May 2018 that he was battling cancer just 18 months after his ex-wife died from a ‘very aggressive’ form of the disease.
The then 49-year-old had a four-hour surgery to save his life. Louis took on his stepfather Mark Tomlinson’s surname when his parents split up.
Felicite was one of six children. She leaves behind her older sister Lottie, younger twin sisters Daisy and Phoebe and the youngest, twins Ernest and Doris. She was also an aunt to Louis’ son Freddie.
Scarred by tragedy: Louis Tomlinson’s close-knit family reel for second devastating time soon after death of their mother from blood cancer at 43
The tragic death of Louis Tomlinson’s sister Felicite aged just 18 is the second devastating blow for the family in little over two years, after his mother died of leukaemia in December 2016.
Midwife Johannah Deakin lost her battle with cancer at just 43, leaving behind Louis, Felicite and their five siblings.
Her husband Dan Deakin paid tribute to his late wife saying: ‘Incredibly selfless, she would always look to put other people before herself. She desired nothing more than for everyone around her to be happy and loving.
‘She worked tirelessly on numerous charity campaigns, creating memories for many individuals and their families.’
Louis Tomlinson pictured with his mother Johannah. She spoke often of her pride in her eldest child’s generosity towards his siblings, saying: ‘He always asks me, ‘Tell me what trips they’ve got, where do they want to go? Let me use my money to pay for their trips”
As well as Louis, devoted mother Johannah left behind Lottie, Felicite, twins Daisy and Phoebe, and twins Ernest and Doris, whom she gave birth to prematurely in 2014
‘It wasn’t uncommon for Johannah to hear through the media of an individual in need of assistance, and she would immediately make it her objective to get that person what they often desperately needed, and rarely without success.’
Louis’ former bandmates sent their love in a series of heatrbreaking tweets.
On Twitter Liam Payne wrote: ‘Louis, I’m so sorry for you my brother my heart aches for you, just know I love you the same from a million miles away as i do right next to you. I’m always here for you through everything as you have been for me.
‘My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this incredibly sad time I can’t begin to imagine what you are all going through. Rip Johanna you are forever in my thoughts.’
Louis’ bandmates and stars including Cheryl Cole and Simon Cowell sent heartfelt condolences after the death of his mother

Two Of Us: The moving tribute to his late mother Louis was due to perform tonight
In a now-cancelled Comic Relief performance on BBC One, Louis Tomlison would have performed his new single Two Of Us, a loving tribute to mother Johannah who died of cancer just over two years ago.
The poignant lyrics speak of the singer’s love and loss:
It’s been a minute since I called you
Just to hear the answerphone
Yeah, I know that you won’t get this
But I’ll leave a message so I’m not alone
This morning I woke up still dreaming
With memories playing through my head
You’ll never know how much I miss you
The day that they took you, I wish it was me instead
But you once told me, ‘Don’t give up
You can do it day by day’
And diamonds, they don’t turn to dust or fade away
So I will keep you day and night, here until the day I die
I’ll be living one life for the two of us
Zayn Malik tweeted: ‘@Louis_Tomlinson love you bro! All of your family is in my prayers. proud of your strength and know your mum is too x’.
Meanwhile, Niall Horan posted: ‘Very sad news . Louis I love you mate and I’m / all of us are here for you all the way. You’re mum was an incredible person.
‘Thinking of you and your family. Love from my family to yours..’
A devoted mother, Johannah said in an interview she couldn’t have been more proud of her eldest child, Louis.
Calling him ‘a really nice lovely brother,’ she went on to say that the 1D star always offered to pay for his sister’s trips at school.
‘He always asks me, ‘Tell me what trips they’ve got, where do they want to go? Let me use my money to pay for their trips’,’ Johannah said.
‘He’s always been like that. he’s not a materialistic person himself, but he likes to give people things. He spoils me and the girls and he’s happiest doing that.’
Born Johannah Poulston on March 25 1973, Louis’ mother grew up in Doncaster in South Yorkshire, and worked as a midwife and a TV assistant.
Johannah gave birth to Louis when she was 18, but split from his biological father Troy Austin, in 1997 when Louis was five.
She and Mark Tomlinson, whom Louis has said he considers his real dad, then had four children: Charlotte, now 20, Felicity, 18, and twins Phoebe and Daisy, both 14.
In 2013, Johannah announced her engagement to doctor Dan Deakin and that the couple were expecting twins.
Their wedding in July 2014 saw her son as best man, while Louis’ band mates, Harry Styles, Liam Payne and Niall Horan all attended.
Twins Ernest and Doris, both now five, arrived prematurely in February 2014.
