  3 Important Relationships:

Jacob Venturi [Older Brother] : Jacob was ten years older than Marti and she pretty much idolized him. He in turn absolutely doted on her.  His disappearance and the rumors thereafter left a wound she doesn’t really acknowledge but one that runs deep. If he hadn’t disappeared it’s safe to assume they would have continued to be incredibly close. 

Rowan Khana [ Closest Friend]: Rowan is Marti’s first friend and well on her way to becoming the closest. She’s the one that’s been with her for most of year one and Marti treasures this friendship. Rowan’s probably the person she’d rely on the most during the hard times. 

Edwin Venturi [Middle Brother]: Edwin and Marti are highly ride or die despite what  their ‘’brat’’ ‘’dork’’ bickering might lead people to believe. They share the title of ‘’Jacob’s sibling” and everything that it comes with it. While there’s tension in how they both processed Jacob’s loss ( with Marti refusing to believe he’s not out there and also anything ever printed about him and Edwin...just wanting to move on) they get along about as well as siblings with their age gap can. Both of them are really protective of each other.

( Due to how much Snape not only seems to have it out for her and is intimidating to itty bitty eleven year olds in general because hey everyone needs hobbies i guess and also because he tends to yell ‘’Focus!’’ whenever she loses focus/spaces during a class due to her adhd Marti’s started to associate the class/classroom as a whole as ‘bad’, especially since her RSD makes her reaction to the treatment to be her ending up in tears. She will probs start dreading  the class before year 1 is due. )

Marti tends to hum the song Earn Enough For Us  though she doesn’t know that’s what she’s humming until someone points it to her. This is because she has snatches of memories of her oldest brother Jacob singing the song or listening to it. Unknown to her, her middle brother Edwin also hums/sings it/whistles it at times for the same reason.

Dasey Post

Filmmakerdream asked me in another post to tell them a little more about Daseys daughter that I headcanon , so I’m gonna talk a little bit about the whole fam, but mostly their daughter, ok here it goes.

Her name is B. Beatrice Ida Venturi.

Casey had Beatrice picked out since she was 13, and Ida was ½ of an elderly couple that Dasey met when they moved to Toronto that basically adopted them. She was born 06/06/2017. She’s an only child, because with Edwin, Lizzie, and Marti; Derek and Casey basically already raised 3 kids (if you don’t count their parents). She’s the oldest of the 10 cousins.

Marti had her oldest son, Richie, when B was two, and her youngest son, Robbie, two years after that. And since they all live in Toronto together; B and her boys are really close.

Richie and Robbie have different fathers, and tbh Marti doesn’t actually remember their names. But to be fair she was 20. And while a single mom, she became the youngest detective in TPD history. She eventually fell in love with her partner Nick and they had a little girl named Ruth.

Edwin became a lawyer and he lives in Vancouver. But his wife doesn’t have a family of her own so the MacDonald-Venturi clan gets both of them and all their kids for the holidays. His wife Fiona was a little hesitant to have kids, but once Edwin convinced her, she had baby fever. They had 2 and adopted 4.

Lizzie opted to be the designated “fun aunt”. All the perks, none of the responsibility. She tried art school, but ended up moving about an hour outside of Toronto and living in a commune. Like a hippy farm where they grow and sell their own produce and organize environmental rights protests in their spare time. She’s bi and doesn’t have a long term relationship until she meets her girlfriend Kate. They end up Turing the commune into a safe haven for LGBT+ kids.

But back to B. And Dasey.

Derek and Casey finally got together on the night of their parents 10th anniversary. Casey through them a huge party and Derek forced her to take a break and dance with him. They went for it as soon as they got back to their parents house (shared basement guest rooms). They told all their siblings about their relationship pretty quickly but hid it from their parents for a while.

The week of Valentine’s day 2016, Derek took Casey to Iceland, somewhere she always wanted to go, and they eloped on the 17th. They didn’t really mind the fact that it was winter, it’s not like they left their room anyway .

When they got home they told their parents. George and Nora were not happy. They never saw it coming and had a very comfortable life, in their little rose-colored, Brady-bunch, bubble. Dasey asked them not to reach out until they were ready to be supportive and out of loyalty all the kids stopped taking to their parents. Except Simon, being a child he didn’t really have an opinion. (I’m sure after a few years they swallow their pride.maybe.)

Dasey were upset at first but they were too happy to care when they found out about B.

They wrote a book together about their story. It sold fast and they are fairly wealthy to put modestly. They have a nice house in Toronto, and a penthouse in Paris. Where they spend every summer.

Not that they need day jobs but; Derek works for Casey’s dad, they’re best friends now. And while Casey was in political journalism fresh out of college, she hated her job and Derek talked her into quitting and starting her own event planning business. Her calling.

But now onto B.

She’s got soft brown hair and green eyes (her mom has blue her dad has Brown). She looks so sweet and innocent and is just as kind and bubbly as her mother. You’d really think that she was Casey. Derek thought she was gonna be Casey. He spent her whole childhood worrying that she would grow up to be just like her mom and end up with sometime just like him.

But then one day, when she was about 16, Derek got called into her school to find she had been expelled. For punching some girl in the face. After presenting her family tree project and said girl Making fun of their family. Less than a week later she got kicked out of her new all-girls school for protesting the dress code by starting a shirt-burning riot in the court yard.

And that was when Derek realized that his little girl wouldn’t end up with someone like him. Because she IS him.

She’s all of her mothers girl power, adorable, hyper active heart. With all of her dad’s over protective of loved ones loyalty and ready to kill anyone who tests her fam.

She’s never that teenager who hates her parents. Her parents are her favorite people. They come to all her bands shows, they support her leaving school, skipping college, and starting her own business, they’re her best friends.

What else? Ummm….

While she’s still in school; Dasey are on the PTA. Casey is that mom that all the other moms hate because she doesn’t have a plastic surgeon or a personal trainer she just looks that amazing AND has the hottest husband. Neither one of them ages, Derek says it’s cause happiness keeps them young.

Derek’s that dad that actually teaches her stuff. Guitar, life lessons, other languages. He’ll even learn something new just to help her Learn it easier. He’s ride or die supportive too. She could be brawling on the playground and he could walk into the fight 10 minutes late and instead of getting involved he’d just smile proudly and place a bet on his baby girl winning.

Casey’s that mom that packs overly nutritious lunches but burns everything at dinner. She’s that mom that totally takes over all the school projects. She’s that picking up B from daycare “MY DAUGHTER DID NOT BITE YOUR DAUGHTER AND I WILL TAKE THIS TO COURT” kind of mom.

When B is a teenager she likes to take sneaky videos of her parents being cute or play fighting, but she never gets much footage, cause they always end up making out and she has to leave the room.

Even when they’re old, they can’t keep their hands of each other. They’re that couple that everyone hates cause they’re too perfect and so in love.

And after a 10 year wait they deserve it.

I would love to know how your respective MC's like our favorite Charms professors, Filius Flitwick and Abraham Ronen! :D

Omygosh I had to look him up but Theo would love Ronen! She doesn't have as hard a time focusing as some of my other mcs but she's such a chaotic lil griffindor. A class that incorporates games into learning would be easily one of her favorites. She might get a bit too competitive in the games lol

Also her own family values propriety over showing affection so she would just vibe really well with him as a teacher!

Flitwick is easily one of Marti's favorite teachers. She reacts best to positive encouragement rather than criticism and while Magonagall can be stern and Snape is .well Snape Flitwick tends to be more laid back and forgive mistakes and just makes her feel more at ease so she's more able to actually learn. Charms is probably one of her best grades tbh
