Have you- have you- guys read "The italian job" by stereobone on ao3? (PROBABLY MY FAV FIC EVER) Well...there's this scene where Miles is kinda repairing the floor so Alex won't get stubbed toes and he's wearing THIS.EXACT.SAME.OUTFIT. there as he is in his last photoshoot!!!!

And the dirt on his hands and shoulders, the fact that he described it as his "farmer look"...I can see it all so clearly. Worned out jeans and a white vest... very much 'Aviation' coded to me.

So about that "journalist" Ashley Reese...

I'm so shocked she so OPENLY hates Miles. That's really unprofessional of her. And what this unreasonable hatred for? He seems to be the only unproblematic person in this circle. I don't get this.

Also can you imagine Alex's reaction to this? To be honest, sometimes I wish he had SM, because then he would have seen all this shit and would have been more cautious in choosing to whom give interviews.

Oh and the fact that Louise had a conversation with her? I'm so sure she knows about her tweets because, you know, once a stalker always a stalker. Can you imagine talking to a person who spreads this toxic shit online about your boyfriend's best friend? And taking photos with that person? I would just turn around and never talk to her again.

This made me laugh, because Louise is literally obsessed with Alexa and constantly cosplays her. Hell, she even had pinboards dedicated to "the one and only Alexa Chung" and had pins of Alex and Alexa's pictures. Louise is veeeery loud about Alexa stuff.

What can I say? Another leach and toxic person in this circle. A journalist? I think it would be more correct to call her another obsessive fan.

This is so moving. We all focus on Alex and how overwhelming last week was for him, but let's spare a minute for Miles.

For whatever reason in 2017 his relationship with his best buddy/great love deteriorated to the point they were barely speaking. But the estrangement wasn't as long as people seem to think it was. There were sightings of them out socially in 2019 and there are pictures of them outside pubs in London taken during one of the many 5 minute breaks in Lockdown we had in 2020. We all took breaks in Lockdown to catch up with those we loved and missed. And Milex chose to meet each other.

Listening to a lot of the songs on One Man Band, and Hello You and Jet Skis on the Moat it is pretty obvious these past few years have been spent rebuilding their relationship to the point that the person who Alex wanted to be there for him during the last emotional days of the tour, was Miles.

Is it any wonder Miles shed a tear? It is like the end of a turbulent chapter of his life, no one knows what the future holds, but as well as managing his own career, he will have to be an emotional crutch for Alex.

I don't think he would change this for the world. But let's allow him to get a bit overwhelmed and stop painting him as 'sad Miles' when he clearly said it was the best week of his life.

Hiii my darlings, just dropping by to say that I am once again on a little trip, meaning I might not be very present on here for the next few days! I also am aware that there is still a couple of lovely asks sitting in my inbox that deserve a proper reply, so I will get to that one at some point, I promise!! 🫶🏼

And for those who are interested: I'm in Sheffield, UK, right now (home of Arctic Monkeys 💗) to see Miles Kane (one of my other ship) perform, and in true me style, I actually just ran into Miles and his little dog Max when I was on my way to the venue and he was just walking Max before the gig 😂 I got to pet the little fluff ball and chat to Miles for a bit and it was SO lovely (I took a pic but it's a bit stalkery in handsight oops) and that's not even counting the actual gig and the lovely tumblr friend I met up with!!! Very very good day 🥰

And tomorrow I'm heading to London to see one of my best friends and stay with her for a few days, and we're going to another gig tomorrow night (Audio Bullys with support from Jamie T, which I am SO excited about too 😍)
