NDLEA nabs woman linked to two Pakistani businessman arrested with cocaine at Lagos airport Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a businesswoman, Okefun Darlington Chisom over her alleged links with two Pakistani nationals arrested with cocaine at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, MMIA, Lagos. The Pakistanis, Asif Muhammed, 45 and Hussain Naveed, 57, were arrested with 8 kilograms of cocaine concealed in a sound system while attempting to board a Qatar Airways flight to Lahole, Pakistan via Doha on November 5, 2022.  Spokesperson of the agency, Femi Babafemi confirmed the arrest of the woman in a statement on Sunday, November 13.  Meanwhile, NDLEA operatives attached to the SAHCO import shed of the MMIA Lagos have intercepted another consignment of Tramadol from Karachi, Pakistan. A total of 6 cartons comprising 497,900 tablets of Royal Tramaking brand of Tramadol 225mg with a gross weight of 304.90 kilograms were recovered after a joint examination by stakeholders on Friday 11th Nov. Businessman arrested with H€roin concealed in false bottoms of his travelling bags Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency, NDLEA, have arrested a businessman, Kingsley Celestino at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Ikeja Lagos over 9.40 kilograms of h€roin concealed in false bottoms of his two travelling bags. Kingsley, a business class passenger on Qatar Airline flight was arrested at Terminal 2 of the MMIA on Saturday 4th March on his way to India. Though a native of Nnewi South Local Government Area of Anambra State, the 49-year-old was traveling with a Guinean international passport. A statement released by Femi Babafemi, spokesperson of NDLEA, says a preliminary investigation revealed that the suspect frequently travels to India on business class tickets. He claimed he deals in the clothing business between Nigeria and India. It was further established that he obtained the Guinean international passport in Guinea Bissau, where he said his mother came from.
