does anyone else like,,, not remember ninjago season 7. like i swear i watch that season and immediately forget everything that happens in it. i cannot tell you a single thing that happens in that season. i could not explain the plot line if you held a gun to my head. i have seen it at least 3 times. why does this happen.

Y'all can we talk about how incredibly traumatizing it would've been for Ray and Maya to be taken from their home and children and kept contained, far away from civilization, not knowing if the people they loved were okay, only having eachother for company, for YEARS??????? Just had a ninjago au idea where when the time twins changed the past to make the present all "old timey" they were defeated but the changes stayed. So Zane is just dead, as well as Pixal and all other droids, and everyone is freaking out and trying to fix things. But the thing is that as time goes on everyone begins to forget that things were ever different. I don't know where this would go I just had to share

Me personally? I have a hard time choosing. I used to love the Fangpyre and Constrictai when s1&s2 aired, so I still like them now. Clancee is absolutely adorable and I love him. He's special. I feel the same for Char, not just because he isn't classified as anything specific, but because he looks cool. The Pyro Vipers look cool because they're literally burning mummies. And then Aspheera.. In the flashbacks she has the head markings like other Hypnobrai but once she's in Kryptarium Prison in Crystalized it's gone. Also she's a sorceress. And she was also burning. And then she had crystal powers. I like her lots. Fun first female Serpentine villain.

But if I had to pick? Just out of the "armies"/groups I'd say Fangpyre. Their ability seems so fun and so does the fact that some can have two heads. If I had to pick out of only the named Serpentine members I'd probably go with Char, Clancee or Aspheera. But most likely Clancee, he's so innocent.

My least favorite are actually the Vermillion because they creep me out. That mass of small snakes.. Especially in red? Yeah, no, my brain doesn't register that as snakes but as.. something more gore-y.

I’ve reached season 7 in my weekly “rewatch ninjago” nights and man… Jay’s characterization post season 6 makes such a tragic amount of sense

Jay’s always known to want to avoid dangerous situations, but it’s to an EXTREME degree once time starts getting screwy, and honestly it makes so much sense. Jay’s in another timeline. If time is skipping forwards his first thought is probably oh shit these are consequences of my wish.

Then the SECOND he hears Wu might be in danger he demands they go immediately, to the place he was JUST desperately trying to avoid

And then! When they show up! NO HESITATION JAY LEAPS DOWN FROM THE ANCHOR TO TAKE THIS GUY OUT

He knows what happens when you let a villain get away so he’s like “cool cool I’m handling this RIGHT now”

It just shows HOW MUCH the last season had on Jay’s entire demeanor and it’s honestly tragic to see but SO good from a continuity standpoint

biggest pet peeve about nya & kai is how they used to talk to each other.

like absolutely NO siblings are communicating like; “okay sister.” “sure thing big brother” LIKE WE KNOW UR BROTHER AND SISTER BUT WHYYYY did they say it at the end of each sentence. 😭😭😭😭

like in certain contexts it makes sense but majority of the time it is not needed. like just say each others names please i’m begging.

Recently found out that s7 was originally going to be the end of Ninjago, ending Krux and Acronix time travelling to the future, finding that the ninja achieved their future selves that they saw in s5. Now I’m obsessed with the fact that at the start s8 Jay says that time travel could’ve meant the timeline could’ve changed and they wouldn’t even know it, like how everyone could look completely different and no one would notice (this is a nod to their new designs). Crack theory Krux and Acronix changed the timeline so that the original s7 conclusion that was supposed to happen didn’t, and s8 onwards is an altered timeline (where everyone looks different). It canonically explains their designs and also why the s5 futures might not come true.
