FC NAME/GROUP: No Minwoo - The Midnight Romance/ actor GOD NAME: Nefertem PANTHEON:  Egyptian OCCUPATION: freelance perfumer, currently a student known as Nathan Adam HEIGHT: 1,85m WEIGHT: 68kg DEFINING FEATURES: youthful appearance, slim and well-defined muscles, blue lotus tattoo between his shoulder blades, long black hair and blue eyes, wears fake glasses

PERSONALITY: Simply put, Nefertem is a god with a little self-identity crisis. What is the meaning of life as god, when there is no longer a duty or reason for their existence? He still tries to find an answer to cure the feeling of being lost. He likes to pretend to be mortal, a demi-god, and hates to be addressed as god. In Mount Phoenix only a few know his true identity and due to living different lifes and acting as different persons, Nefertem struggles to build relationships of all sorts and changes his ‚roles‘ quite often, since he loses interest extremely fast despite his huge curiosity for an ordinary mortal life.

HISTORY: Nefertem was known as the god of perfumes, fragrances and the lotus flower. Born as the son of Ptah and Sekhmet he grew up spoiled and well protected but also alone – since no one wanted to stir Sekhmet’s wrath and kept their distance to the young god. As god he hadn’t many duties. He was the protector of perfume and oil makers and created oils and balms for Anubis, but most of all it was Nefertem who brought lotuses to Ra, to help ease the suffering of his aging body. Nefertem knew how to use the narcotic effect of the lotus flower, which in ancient Egypt was used for medical anesthetics.

Howsoever times are changing. Nothing lasts forever. When people stopped believing and praying to the Egyptian gods, most of the pantheon left their homeland to do whatever they want to do, whereas Nefertem felt lost without any duty or reason for his existance. He was used tob e told what to do – to be in service to Ra and when Ra left without saying anything, he was devastated. It took him quite some time to find a way to go on from there. Across the years the life of mortals caught his interest and he started to live amongst them.

His first intention when coming to Mount Phoenix was to find a place, he could call home again, but he quickly fell back into old patterns by acting as demi-god with different identities. In the past years he was a shop clerk at Lion’s Den, a barista at Flower Mill and a florist at Blossoms of Yggdrasil for example. His last profession was an anesthetist at Asclepius General before he decided to register as student at Phoenix University unter the name Nathan Adam.

POWERS:

Fragrance manipulation - can generate and manipulate scents, fragrances and perfume in various ways, such as using fragrance for hypnosis or manipulating pheromones

Scent shifting - can manipulate scents in general, such as changing the scent of a perfume or a room

Aromatherapy - is able to heal others of wounds, pain, poison, ailments etc. by using fragrances, scents and perfumes, or relieve others of stress
