RALPH RIACH (1936-Died March 20th 2022,at 86).Riach is best known for his role as "John McIver" (better known as "TV John") in BBC One Scotland's comedy/drama Hamish Macbeth. His career began at the age of 50, when he appeared in Lost Empires (1986). 1. Robert Carlyle aka Hamish Macbeth.

Brilliant Bobby Carlyle. I like him as Hamish maybe more than as Rumpel. And in my opinion (I don't, maybe I'm not the only one) he looks better with short hair. 

2. Duncan Duff aka constantly smoking Doc Brown

Doc is definitely my crush. Green eyes, black hair, smart and intelligent. It's been almost 20 years ago, and now he still looks very handsome, bears his age well. By the way, check his short film "If I'm spared", it's really good.

3. Ralph Riach aka "Terribly Violent" John McIver :)

TV John is one of the most unusual characters and not only of "Hamish Macbeth". Now Ralph is 74 (can't believe this) and he is still acting! His last appearance was in Cloud Atlas in segment about Timothy Cavendish.
