Platonic Caregiver Donatello x Gn! Reader

"Darling, you'll just have to give me a moment. I'm a bit busy right now. This processor is very important." Donnie says to you, using his metal arms to keep you at a distance.

A whine escapes your throat as you slouch back onto your play mat. Grabbing your turtle plush as you pout up at him. You really just wanted to sit in his lap. Hug him. Know that he loves you as much as you love him.

You hear a sigh come from him as he turns to face you fully. "Really, you're going to just stare?" He asks exasperatedly.

You simply nod your head up at him. Uncrossing your arms and reaching up for him to hold you.

You could see him contemplating it. All the pros and cons of pulling his precious baby into his lap while he attempts to work. He's always been strict on rules, and normally you were always so good with them. Donnie recognized this; normally you'd let him work while you played. Peacefully. Perhaps you were sad, he thought. Maybe you just needed comforting.

Of course he was right. That's all you were looking for right now. Confirmation that you're baba still loved you.

He lifted you up gently. Holding you close. "Why don't we take a break?" He asks lovingly. "Maybe we can get Uncle Mikey to make us a snack. Hmm?" He says standing, while you nod enthusiastically.

You bounced lightly in his arms with happiness. He smiled at you as you tried to kiss him through your pacifier. Giggling as he pinches at you in retaliation.

The walk was short before you arrived in the kitchen. Unsurprisingly, Mikey was already there.

"Oh! Hey you're just in time. I just made pancakes!" He exclaims happily. "You're up for that yeah Mini?"

Nodding joyfully at him, Donnie chuckles. Mikey sets a plate for both you and Don. Placing you gently on his lap your Baba cut up the food. He led the fork to your mouth before redirecting it and eating the pastry himself. In a small beat of a moment both you and Mikey were left giggling at his antics. Donnie smiled brightly before, actually, feeding you.

Donnie never actually made it back to the lab that night as you kept him skillfully distracted as he did the same for you. If there was one thing none of the brothers could deny, your little self had Donatello wrapped around your tiny finger.

Age Regressor!Mikey Headcanons | Rottmnt

He’s always been the more childish of the group, so regressing came/comes easy to him. He wasn’t the first to find out about it but he was the first to be open about it.

Mikey regresses to around 3-5, never younger or much older.

He doesn’t like being looked down upon, even when regressed, so he tries his best to help his brothers with small tasks when regressed.

His love for arts and crafts stays the same! He’s almost always coloring in a book or drawing on a tablet. He always enjoys finger painting.

Enjoys bringing fake drama into the circle. Sometimes it’s caused by Leo telling him to, but of course the influence made him start doing it on his own. “Raph, um Don Don says you were- you are meanie”

Loves the pizza lunchables when little

Builds with anything ever! Blocks, Legos, boxes, whatever. And he enjoys knocking it down sometimes. (Little Mikey is half chaotic)

Plays games where you take care of animals or dress up people. It’s his favorite pass time when little.

Needs to be read a book before falling asleep, and also needs someone’s presence there. He gets very sad and uncomfortable if he goes to sleep alone.

I don’t know if this was a request or not but I’m taking this time to give you my regressor Donnie headcanons bc he’s ABSOLUTELY my favourite turtle and I need to talk abt him or I’ll explode (I have brought my ‘87 Donnie figure with me to Holland, he’s my emotional support turtle)

Regressor!Donatello Headcanons!!

👾I think Donnie would either slip for one of two reasons, Stress- from working so hard on all his inventions and tech or two Leo was bored and needed a playmate

👾In my head Donnie’s regression range is on the older end of the spectrum but if something goes particularly bad in an experiment or an invention he goes deep into regression

👾His usual regression range I’d say is maybe 6-8 making him more of a kid regressor but if something goes wrong and he’s deep into it I’d say 0-3.

👾Donnie doesn’t take very good care of himself while he’s big so he is absolutely not allowed to be left unattended while small, even if he’s at his oldest age

👾This frustrates the little tot. A lot.

👾But he’s easy to calm down, put him in front of the projector and stick Little Einsteins or Sid the Science Kid on and he’ll stop his whining

👾And I mean stop, that boy shuts up immediately. He could be in the middle of talking and if you turn those on he just stops and stares

👾On this topic science museums. (I could do a whole set of hc’s based off this) he loves them

👾He’s not allowed in his lab when regressed, that was a rule set by big Donnie out of pure fear that he’s gonna break something he worked very hard on

👾When Donnie first regressed he was scared. He got so scared, that he slipped further into his regression going from a solid 6-4 within seconds

👾He cried, then toddled into Leo’s room and cried more because he trusted his twin more than anyone else with this new strange feeling

👾After Donnie fully grasps what is going on he tells Raph and Mikey, Leo becomes his primary cg because he was the first to know and Leo is his twin, so if Donnie goes non verbal they can use their “twin telepathy”

👾Donnie swears the twin telepathy thing is fake but somehow Leo always knows what little Donnie needs

👾Donnie doesn’t bite very often (Little fun fact here, softhells are very possessive of their things and very often bite and don’t let go for awhile) but when he’s little, those chompers get put to use

👾Leo once took a crayon off Donnie once so he could colour in with his Hermano pequeño. Donnie bit. And Donnie bit hard

👾Leo didn’t bleed but he screamed, Raph came over and had to physically pry Donatello off his brother who was inspecting his new bite wound. It scarred over

👾After that they bought Donnie a paci- for Leo’s safety. It’s purple (obvie) but that’s it’s only distinguishing feature. Donnie doesn’t like the ones that are covered in gems and beads, they distract him too much

👾If both of that disaster twins have slipped it results in both Raph and Mikey taking care of them because, while Leo is a handful by himself and Donnie is relatively easy putting them together causes chaos

👾Donnie typically regresses to be the older twin in this situation so he’s easier to calm down and stop him being a little shit, then once he’s been told he’ll immediately tell Leo to stop

👾Don would be such a little cutie to take care of, an absolute angel for you as he politely awaits his praise and for you to tell him how good he’s behaving

Sleeps a lot - but when he’s not, he’s probably planning ‘baby projects’ (projects he’ll do when he’s little,) but he’ll never really do ‘em.

He really enjoys shell rubs when he’s tiny!

He isn’t a big fan of chewies or teethers, but LOOOVES a paci!

Loves tickles too… a very giggly baby by then.

Has a comfort stuffie, it reminds him of SHELLDON.

Sometimes, when he’s little, he lays down on a playmat - and plays with all the dangling things!

Comfort Cuddles

Todays mission hadn’t gone…great. Everyone came home slightly beat up and broken. Raph was stressed. Leo and Donnie had decided to retreat to their rooms to relax and unwind from what just happened. Raph sat watching whatever had been playing on the projector, a stuffed bear in hand when Mikey joined him.

He took one look at Raph and immediately saw what was going through Raph’s little head. Mikey took a calm approach to this as he sat by his brother and softly spoke, “Hey Raphie”. Mikey’s words were kind and slow as to not scare his brother. Raph looked over, his eyes full of that innocence he gains when he regresses. Raph smiled at Mikey softly as he reached out for his brother. “You good there big- little. Little guy?” Mikey asked with a tilt of his head.

Raph softly nodded in response to the question at hand, he kept his little stuffed bear clutched to his chest. Mikey’s hand softly landed on Raphael’s shoulder as an act of comfort, his older brother seemingly leaned into his touch. Mikey shuffled closer once again, this time he was resting his head against his oldest brothers shoulder instead, Raph seemed pleased with this. The silence between the two brothers was deafening the only noise they could hear was their brothers arguing in the distance, that was until Michelangelo spoke up.

“You were really brave out there today buddy…”

His voice was soft and reassuring, as if he was speaking to a child because well, he sort of was. Raphael looked at his youngest brother with a soft smile, he looked pretty happy to hear the praise he was being given. That only encouraged Mikey to dish out more of it. “You were really super out there, you protected us all, you kept us safe, even when you were scared and didn’t know what to do you still managed to help us and we love you for that Raphie. We’re all really glad to have you here”

The next thing Michelangelo felt was his brothers strong grip around him in a bear hug, even when this small Raph still had a good grip on him, he heard he soft mumbles and hums of happiness coming from Raphael and it made all this pain worth it.
