«I wanted to give the camera to the owners, but couldn't find them. hope you can help» — journalists received this message from a Ukrainian soldier who found a stolen camera abandoned by russians running away from Ukrainian forces.

in addition to old photos of the Ukrainian family who owned this camera and several photos of the russians themselves, the journalists found a terrible video showing the russians capturing civilians, blindfolding them, tying them all together and chaining them up. adults, children and animals.

important clarification: this video was not shot on the camera mentioned in the message. that camera stolen by the russians just belongs to the residents of the village in the video!

The doctors continued to work for weeks despite the fact that they lacked medicines, water and electricity.

My sleeping arrangements 2 years ago, at the beginning of full-scale invasion of Ukraine by russia. You could still hear loud explosions even though we were in the basement. It was so cold and scary, but I have a lot of pictures of me fake smiling during these days to send my parents, so that they wouldn't worry about me.

More people came to the basement later and it was such a bizzare time, everyone had a different day regime, one person's "morning" was another person's "night", when in reality it could be the middle of the day. Doesn't matter what time of the day it was - someone would always be awake, playing games with each other, snacking, reading, talking, making nervous jokes. I sometimes think it was all a fever dream because of how spaced out I was. I went asleep in the morning and during night I would listen to every sound and check news. And air raid, anxiety and explosions would wake me up anyways, so sleep was fragmented. It was also hard to breathe because of the dust and my dermititis or eczema (I'm not sure what it was) was acting up from stress and my hands looked rough, worse than ever in my life, just red with scaling dry skin.

At least I had my duck socks.

This is my homecity, Kyiv, on the 2nd of January after russia attacked Ukraine with Shahed drones, 16 Tu-95MC bombers, "Kinzhal" and "Kaliber" missiles during the night.

(Overall russia launched 99 missiles of various types and 35 attack drones over Ukraine during the night and morning).

As for now, 49 people are injured, 43 out of them were hospitalized. 2 people died.

I cannot express the pain I feel seeing the beautiful and strong city where I was raised being so viciously destroyed in the front of the whole world. And I certainly cannot imagine the pain of those, who suffered during the attack today and who lost their loved ones, one of them being Lyudmyla Shevtsova, doctor of biological sciences, professor, teacher of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy.

Massive missile attack on Zaporizhzhia. russians launched 12 missile strikes.
