Despite such evident presence of self-speaking truths, today's political and civic thought is clouded with confusion about the ideas of equality and discrimination.
What primarily is exclusion has been taken , talked about and shamed for being chauvinistic , patriarchal and discriminatory.
The shrine of Sabrimala , is an analogue of one such evolutionarily specialized religious institution which has morphed into a place suitable for worship by a specific gender .
The diety of the shrine , Shri Ayyapa is a Nastik Bhramchari and hence women aged between a 10 to 50 years of age are advised not to enter the garbh griha.
Amidst utter ignorance when analyzed with skewed lens of equality , removed far away from the context , this practice of specificity is confused with discrimination.
With plethora of opinions and sermons passed , of what is right and wrong , there was practically a little more than a bit left for the Supreme Court of India to analyze , when the petition was filed against the temple for not letting women devotees aged between 10 to 50 years , enter the shrine.
Empowered are the people , by the constitution , to express , ask and discuss. The Hindu temple is a public institution . But so is the Supreme Court of India . No matter how strong and influential an opinion about the functioning of SC gets , the credibility of the opinion is bound to loose water , if not articulated and built upon the premises of the constitution of SC.
The bias of the torch-bearers of Freedom of Expression is exposed when they without understanding the premise and nuances of the Hindu Culture , which is exceptionally rigorous and intellectually comprehensive , bash , demean and demonize the whole society .
In the same state of Kerela , there are hundreds of temples which grant both gender the privilege to meditate and worship and many which are exclusive for women devotees.
It certainly requires a transcendence into a higher state of evolutionary ladder of intellect to understand this simple biological analogue mapped onto Hindu places of worship.
