I've been seeing enough ads for Stringjoy that I finally emailed them to see if they could help me out on a string set for the hurdy gurdy. The current ones are hobbled together from various guitar and orchestral singles and they're not ideal.

In light of this, I've also ordered new machine tuners, a right angle screwdriver, and strap buttons.

The current tuner situation is no screws (sort of by instruction due to lack of space, hence the screwdriver, but I also never had them) and there's maybe some slippage causing my issues, so the added stability will be nice.

And if I'm taking the strings off to replace the tuners and the strings I hope to get, then I won't feel so bad opening it up (which requires string removal) to screw in the strap buttons, which I need to do for the inner stabilizer.
