Leo really said "is anybody gonna else gonna have a crush on a guy, learn everything they can about street racing and become this guy's rival?" And didn't even try and wait for an answer.

When being some guy's #1 fan isn't enough so you have to become his rival. Many such cases.

But seriously, I've thought more about this and now I know how I want this au to go down. (Strap in, I won first place in the yap-olympics)

It mostly consists of one sided rivals to lovers (my favorite) and happens a bit before the S2 finale and the year between that and the movie. And if wasn't obvious from my other post, it involves street racing (something I know nothing about why'd I choose street racing ugh—)

Pictures are kinda in order too.

Leo sees Usagi race, gets a crush, gets interested in street racing. Has to see every race he competes in from now on.(Top right)

Talks about it to anyone who listens, weirdly only focuses on Usagi hmm, Mikey draws the mystery man. (Don't tell Raph, but the next time Leo called dibs on the last pizza he gave to Mikey so he could have the drawings) (Top left)

Either buys or makes his own merch but I don't think Usagi's the type to make merch or anything like that (doesn't know how, probably wouldn't get the point) tbh so we're going with made. I think April helped. (Bottom left)

And I said they meet because of Usagi saving Leo from some baddies on my last post, that still happens here, it's the first time they meet face to face (or face to Helmut) probably some of Big Mama goons Leo couldn't really fight off because weapons aren't allowed at the races so he and Usagi get to have a romantic bike chase where they try not to crash and die.

Leo deciding if you can't be their boyfriend beat them, be their rival. He trains until he can race Usagi himself. Who is actually happy to have a rival, the weirdo lol. (Bottom right)

I haven't named this AU, so I'll be taking suggestions if you have any (pls give me ideas I don't have any)

After the read more is just an update(?) about my art and posts for people who follow me.

For some reason I've seem to become allergic to digital art, so other than some comics I already planned on posting, this might be my last digital art post for a while. I can draw on paper no problem, I guess drawing on my phone has gotten tiring and my brain hates it for now. We're going traditional baby!

Which is fine because my traditional art is better imo, digital is just easier to color and I'm bad at taking pictures. Like really bad. But I still wanna post art so it'll have to do.

Luckily I was able to finish this but this will be the only nonconic digital art for a while. Had to switch it up though cause I was really struggling the first 30 mins so it's more colorful than my usual art.

Before you read this I reccomend you watch The new Lyric video, and see for yourself what im about to write in here! Because cmon, if it was visible to an idiot like me, imagine what all the "Dark(?)Larries" could find if they actually searched for stuff in the video? haha...

well, following some "clues" from "secret accounts" on Instagram and twitter (I don't know if they are actually valid or not) I came up with some dates that appeared to be important in some way. One of them was 21/04 (or some especualte its 22/04) and maybe 26/04 or 27/04.

Now, wbk that rumours that the BU article was going to come up around April because back in March, a lot of the "trusted" accounts have been talking about it. But not just that, April has been a fookin busy month if you ask me. The Clifford interview, the Eleanor narrative, Niam live toguether, the group chat! The FOOkin warning selfie that we got. Not counting the leak of emails (which we don't know if it's true or false) between M*dest! and another recipient, on Haylor and Wellington. Too much, too much.

Even with all of these things happening, the accounts still made sure to always point back to the dates, which infered that whatever they were talking about was still to come. Now, idk if they meant the Black and White lyric Video. But if the date was of today, and if nothing else happens until midnight (Rn is 21/04/20 19:42). Then I will specualte that they were talking about the LV.

I don't know if it may be a reference to the latest FIMQ video, (and sadly her last because of all the Bullshit that happened with her )': ) but the same 'filter' or 'fx' or watever that was used, was the same used on FIMQ's video of Louis The Brave which if you're not familiar with, I do reccomend watching it. Its on yt even tho her channel got deleted.

Now these are some screenshots I tool from the video; notice the little square on the middle left of the screen.

These squares kept appearing throughout the video. And viewers also seemed to remember it from somewhere else.

See what I mean? they were the same on both FIMQ's video, which she probably did on pourpouse.

Now, that video had been noticed by a pretty "respected secret account" on twitter. Which fans speculate is the return acc of Rbb:

But yeah, it was noticed. And the tweeter didn't seem to mind it, didn't say that it was outrageous nor did it say it was completely uncalled for like many specualte. like seriously, plz.

Anyways, this is what appeared in Niall's Lv;

Yeah- It was the same. When I saw this the first thing that came into my mind was FIMQs video, fore and front.

Now, I don't know why he would do something like that. I probably am just overanalyzing my ass off on this because the past few months have been a load of me. Specially because (to me at least) the most 'trustfull' proofs we can get are from either Liam or Niall himself. Specially Niall's public videos because he is on a different label from the boys.

Also wanted to add in this, believe it if you want ot not. This is one of the supposed 'secret accounts aswell' (or maybe not idk)

Yeah, this tweet is talking about their ig lives; but what if it also meant that the things both Liam and Niall say/do will have some kind of meaning towards all of this?

Its all up to you to believe really.

2. Rainbow imagery throughout the chorus and else.

The Lv was beautiful in many ways! It was unique, incredible. All the colours, black and white, everything.

It made me question, (don't get it in a homophobic way, by no means do I mean this in any bad way)

Why would Niall specifically add Rainbow narratives to parts of the Chorus like the way he did? I mean, yeah- "All your gorgeous colours" and all of that, ok, Colours. But then it made me think; Ha, Gayyyyy.

And I mean- As far as I know (could be wrong) Niall's straight. So to just add a rainbow pallete which distorted the whole video out of nowhere seemed a little suspicious to me.

AGAIN. I could be wrong, and overanalyzing.

Now, we could go two ways over here:

1) Niall is just using colours to represent the "In all your gorgeous colours" line. And even supporting equal love, for that matter.

2) He means to tell us that equal love wins. And that in this occasion, this song means something to equal love. A CeRtAin EQUAL LOVE.

If we go by the second route. You probably already know what I mean. But I'm still going to write it in words.

What if this could link to a certain "Larry Vows?"

Because cmon, we dont actually know if Harry and Louis actually got married in the 28/09, and it probably could be more "true" that they got engaged that day, rather than actually married. (Since, I don't really remember, but I can remember either Harry or Lou talking about people being engaged for years because there is no rush and all)

Which then, Im quaking because are Larry getting married? And are they using Niall's song? Umfmmdmf idk.

But what if they ARE married?

Then maybe the scene is about how the vows went, and how they are teue and still steong even after all that happened.

->Now the rainbow scenes just seemed so random to me, because it came out of nowhere. And yeah ok? But there must be an actuall reasonfor all the rainbows and all? Quickest and most probaably link? Larry. Duh.

Hi! Now that the series is over, is there more you can tell us about its construction and the way it developed over time? Like what was planned from the very beginning, what did you come up with as you went, is there anything you had to drop or change radically? I'm always fascinated by the way a story changes between its conception and its completion and how major plot points can shift

Yes, thank you forasking! I’ve wanted to do a retrospective post of some sort aboutthe whole thing but I sort of don’t know where to start, it wassuch an EXPERIENCE that took over my mind entirely for a while there.

Short version is: Isaw fan art and thought it was cute and since I thought the dynamiccould be fun for the sort of humor/porn themes I was into in my lastfandom I started writing a fic with nothing really in mind beyond‘here’s what happens when Hux rescues Ren.’ It immediately wasnot a humor fic, for whatever reason, and about five pages into it(this was the first chapter of Life Sentence) I started to get reallyinto the Hux POV and backstory in a way I hadn’t anticipated. Ithink I was nearly finished with that first chapter when I decided Ialso wanted to do a hurt/comfort story where Ren rescues Hux from aterrible situation and spends some time helping him get back on hisfeet. I’d also spent a lot of the previous year thinking aboutprison fic ideas and coming up with nothing fandom-based or originalthat I really wanted to write. At one point I’m pretty sure I wokeup in the middle of the night and was like ‘what if this is all onefic, a continuation of the chapter I just wrote.’

I think it wasaround the time I came up with Pella (so when I was making notestoward the second chapter, I think shortly before I posted the firstone) that everything started falling into place in my head and Irealized I wanted to write this huge story about Hux going to prison,how the hurt/comfort interlude between the first and third partswould work, and how I would incorporate Ren reconciling uncomfortably with his family for thepurposes of defeating Snoke while Hux dealt with a trial and prisonlife. I started working on my notes toward how this would all playout nonstop and in January was constantly writing scenes and shiftingthings around. I had the big picture of the conclusion of the firstpart, the tensions in the hurt/comfort scenario during the secondpart, and the plot of the third part planned out, but there were alot of details I still needed to work out as I was posting the firstinstallment.

Originally Hux wasgoing to remain in prison at the end of the story, but pretty earlyon I was already iffy on that and thinking about how else I could endthings. I had this scene in mind where Ren comes to see Hux on theroof of the Tower right after defeating Snoke and Hux is just like‘fuck you’ and very cold to him– a lot of my original idea forthe third part was based on Hux remaining very cold to Ren because heblamed Ren for his imprisonment and also for ‘trying to kill him.’But in the process of writing Ceasefire I realized that Hux thinkingthat Ren was behind the attack rather than Snoke wasn’t going towork, since Ren reveals a lot about how Snoke can control him to Huxduring Ceasefire and Hux would be smart enough to figure out that Rendidn’t just randomly turn on him. A lot of Under the Ruins detailscame into focus while I was doing the actual draft chapters ofCeasefire.

Some details werereally vague in my outline until March/April– I knew Snoke was thisancient Force user who had jumped from body to body for centuriessince the start but didn’t come up with the ‘Snoke gets defeatedthrough healing’ thing until I think I was already posting parts ofRuins. I just had ‘Snoke is defeated’ in my notes generally.Waffled about Ren losing an arm or not basically up until I wasworking on the draft of that chapter, and the gold tooth thing wassomething that popped into the narrative as I was working, too. Somedetails like the last appearance of Chewie were there in my originalnotes for Ruins, though (once I figured out that Hux was going toescape, and how– lol I remember being excited about the fightingring idea. Now I feel like I could have come up with a better way to give Huxconjugal visits (which were so important to my initial thoughts aboutHux’s imprisonment! And I think originally Ren was going to use hispowers to get in? But then I couldn’t figure out why he wouldn’tjust break Hux out, beyond ‘he feels indebted to hisfamily’ and in that sense the timing of Ren not getting thesevisits until after he’d ‘defeated’ Snoke and lost access to hispowers for a time came into the plan), but I did ultimately like the way that worked with Hux having temporary access to Ren’s powers. 

So this is turninginto not such a short version, but basically: the framework for whatI was trying to do was there since almost the very beginning (lonelyvillains falling for each other in part 1, fragile hurt/comfort bonding inpart 2, aftermath of crisis and facing what they’d done as theytried to get back to each other in part 3), but the details and plotmechanics evolved as I worked on the actual draft, especially withall the Force mysticism stuff in the latter parts of Ruins. I tend to write like this, where I trust the details of my major plot points (’[defeat Snoke here],’ etc.) to come into focus as I work on the actual drafts, and sometimes it works! Thanksfor asking, it’s a great question.
