Quoting respected members of the scientific community that included UK astrophysicists Maggie Aderin-Pocock and Becky Smethurst, as well as astronaut Tim Peake, all of whom seemed to strongly allude to a discovery currently still on the path toward peer review

“I think we are going to get a paper that claims to have strong evidence for a biosignature in an exoplanet’s atmosphere very, very soon,” Smethurst was quoted saying. “Let’s just say it’s on my bingo card for 2024.”

Peake had been even less ambiguous while speaking during a CNBC interview in the first days of the new year, where he said the prospects that alien life might have been discovered were looking increasingly good.

“Potentially, the James Webb telescope may have already found [it],” though also emphasizing that nothing conclusive had been released yet since scientists involved in the prospective discovery “don’t want to release or confirm those results until they can be entirely sure,” though adding cryptically that “we found a planet that seems to be giving off strong signals of biological life.”

In other words, if these observations are what they appear to be, then it seems like there’s a good chance that we may already be on course for a tremendous discovery this year; one that could potentially offer the most convincing evidence to date that life may exist on worlds beyond our own.

The Springboks schedule for 2023 has been confirmed by SA Rugby, outlining South Africa’s path to the World Cup Final beginning with their first test against Eddie Jones’ Australia in Pretoria in July.

The defending champions have confirmed that they would compete in six matches before facing Scotland on September 10 in Marseille for their World Cup debut.

On July 8, Jacques Nienaber’s team plays Australia at home to open the 2023 Test season before going to New Zealand to play the All Blacks.

On July 29, a match against Argentina will mark the conclusion of the condensed Rugby Championship at Ellis Park in Johannesburg.

The Wallabies will visit Loftus Versveld for the first time since 2016, and the Springboks will host Argentina in Johannesburg for the first time since 2013. All of the Springboks home tests will take place in Gauteng, at an altitude. Both of both games were won by South Africa, who defeated Australia 18-10 and Argentina 73-13.

Teen/ kids tv I regret watching (disney/ nickelodeon/ other)

*icarly- What. A. Mistake. BAD HUMOR. Overly inappropriate for a kid audience. Sam was a toxic character. WHAT THE HELL was Gibby's character turned into? Jerry Trainor saved this show- Miranda cosgrove and him had amazing believability as brother and sister.

Zoey 101- I wasn't allowed to watch after Jamie Lynn got pregnant. This whole show was cringy. Insanely inappropriate humor and Alexa Nichols is telling the truth about the bts of the show: toxic behavior abounded all round.

Victorious- a great cast with God-awful scripts. What the Effff were some of these plots?

Drake and Josh- Josh Peck today is a douche. Drake Bell is a criminal, and while this show is amazing, I kind of regret supporting it. It hurts

Hannah Montana- I got into it because my best friend was into it. Mistake and thank god my parents forbade me to watch after miley's semi nude pics in vanity fair. They knew something was up. I learned a lesson just because a friend was into it- doesnt mean I have to be too.

The suite life of zack and cody- Cringe. I only watched so I could fit in, after a friend commented Emily doesnt watch Disney Channel. I gave it a try so I could fit in, and in the process I lost some of my brain cells

The suite life on deck- I wish I didnt get on board with the sequel. What a mistake. I will admit however I did not see every episode., especially in the later seasons.

Wizards of Waverly place- My sister loved this show so I watched with her. I semi got into it, but still watched it. What a joke and I can't stand Selena.

Alien surf Girls/ lightning point: stupid concept. Aliens disguise themselves as teen girls so they can learn to surf. What the actual hell? I only watched because its australian, thank god quit after 10 episodes- 10 too many.

Dance academy- australian and what I love is the dances and Cariba Heine's guest role. What is cringy is Kat, Grace, Abigail, BEN and the fact the whole friend group dates each other basically- disgusting. Christian and Sammy saved this show. And even though he was a jerk of a character Tim Pocock as Ethan had great acting.

Mako mermaids- the h2o spin off, I quit after 7 episodes when the mermaids starting speaking dolphin. I couldn't handle it- absolutely cringe. It had great potential but was a freakin screw up. Long LIVE THE OG H20.
