Tumblr media
■ The Latest Entry in the Shin Hayarigami Series

Tumblr media Tumblr media

■ Mysterious Cases Where “Urban Legends” Become Reality
Urban legends… a never-ending game of telephone that involve several hundreds of thousands to several millions of people.
A friend of a friend. An acquaintance of an acquaintance. A creepy story told by someone suspicious.
In most cases, these stories are no more than fiction…
But in the Shin Hayarigami series, the story begins when a mysterious, “urban legend”-like incident actually occurs…
Tumblr media
The Woman in the Crevices
An urban legend where a woman with a flimsy body enters the crevices in the walls and furniture, and motionlessly stares at you. It is a relatively major urban legend, and similar rumors are said to have existed since the Edo era.
Tumblr media
Human Stew
An old man living alone unfortunately died while bathing in reheated bath water. Days later, when a friend who discovered his corpse touched the old man’s remains, it crumbled and the bathtub became like stew…
Tumblr media
Demon Doll
Dolls ae common toys enjoyed by many. Therefore, there are many urban legends surrounding dolls, from puns to famous ghost stories such as “Mary-san.”
Tumblr media
Ryoumen Sukuna
The story of Ryoumen Sukuna is both a folk tale and an urban legend. The urban legend Ryoumen Sukuna is a two-headed mummy with several limbs discovered when demolishing an old temple, where the people involved experienced mysterious illnesses or unforeseen incidents one after the other.
Tumblr media
■ Science or Occult? Use Different Approaches to Determine the Truth
Like previous entries in the series, in Shin Hayarigami 3, the latter half of each case branches into either a scientific route or occult route depending on how you choose to investigate. Was it a human who caused the incident? Or was it a monster beyond human comprehension? Whichever stance you take, you will be able to approach a resolution to the case either way.
But if you want to determine the truth of a case, you must look at it from both a scientific and occult perspective.
Tumblr media
■ Become a Detective and Pursue Mysterious Cases
The protagonist is Saki Houjou, a detective who works in G Prefecture. In addition to fellow detective Sena Aizen, who became Saki’s partner in Shin Hayarigami 2, detectives Shinarou Niimi and Masaomi Kouketsu, formerly of the First Investigation Division, join the team to pursue mysterious, “urban legend”-like cases.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
■ Characters
Saki Houjou
Age: 27
Tumblr media
The protagonist. She was previously with the S Prefectural Police, but after her involvement in the “Blindman Case,” she was transferred to G Prefecture by transfer order and joined the newly established “Special Investigation Unit.” In the past, she was unable to stop a tragedy beyond her depth, so she stands against the mysterious cases that continue to occur as not to let that happen again.
Sena Aizen
Age: 25
Tumblr media
Born and raised in G Prefecture, he is a hot-blooded young man who loves his hometown. His delinquent-like appearance and behavior have isolated him from others. While he is bad with women, he was assigned to the Special Investigation Unit with Saki Houjou, and has built up a strong level of trust through the numerous cases they resolved as her partner. As someone well-versed in urban legends, he is generally in affirmation of the occult.
Shintarou Niimi
Age: 32
Tumblr media
The most talented detective in the G Prefectural Police. An elite who graduated at the top of his class at The University of Tokyo Faculty of Law, he looks down on others, but has sincere respect for his partner and senior co-worker Masaomi Kouketsu. He is in direct denial of urban legends and the occult, and has a “water and oil”-like relationship with Sena Aizen. In Shin Hayarigami 3, he joins the Special Investigation Unit along with Masaomi Kouketsu, and gets stuck taking on mystery cases.
Masaomi Kouketsu
Age: 41
Tumblr media
An untalkative veteran detective who boasts a high crime-arrest ratio with Shintarou Niimi. He places great emphasis on his old-school ways of investigating and obtaining information in the field. He has a strong obsession with tracking down the culprit of every difficult case. In Shin Hayarigami 3, he joins the Special Investigation Unit along with Shintarou Niimi and takes on mystery cases.
Mitsuko Kisaragi
Age: 37
Tumblr media
A talented owman with a doctorate in a wide range of fields, not just forensic medicine. Although an expert in forensic investigation, she has deep knowledge of the occult, perhaps because she comes from a shrine family. She is a key player in the Special Investigation Unit, as she analyzes the information obtained by Saki Houjou and the others both scientifically and occultically, and advises them.
■ Fate Changes Based on Your Decisions
During investigation scenes, protagonist Saki Houjou and partner Sena Aizen will investigate and collect the information necessary to resolve the case.
Shin Hayarigami 3 also adds the duo Shinarou Niimi and Masaomi Kouketsu to your team, allowing you to obtain information about the choices you did not make.
—Saki and Sena investigate your choices.
Tumblr media
—The choices you do not make will be investigated by Shintarou and Masaomi.
Tumblr media
■ Self Question
A “Self Question” occurs at key points in the story, in which you ask yourself questions and sort out the events and all the facts you have thus far. The results of a Self Question can change the development of the storyline that follows and become an important turning point in the story.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
■ Courage Points
“Courage Points” are necessary in situations that demand courage or when making important decisions. If you run out of Courage Points, you will not be able to make decisions at important times, but if you just let them build up, you may be driven into a corner. Take action in a calculated manner.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
■ Liar’s Art
Not everyone involved in the mysterious incidents tell the truth as it happened. There may be situations where Saki must use her specialty psychology technique “Liar’s Art” to manipulate lies and throw them off balance in order to draw out the truth from those who conceal it or lie. By throwing out the right words within the time limit, you will shake up your opponent and reveal their true intentions.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The “Liar’s Meter” displays the opponent’s emotional changes. By making a choice that shakes the opponent, the meter will rise, and it will be easier to reveal their true intentions. If the Liar’s Art ends with the meter low, the situation worsens, but if it ends with the meter high, you can more easily reach the truth in the developments that follow.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
■ Deduction Logic
“Deduction Logic” is a function that creates a correlation diagram of those involved in the case by applying keywords. Keywords can be acquired by proceeding with the investigation, and the more accurate the diagram, the closer you are to approaching the truth of the case.

“K - THE FIRST STORY”
CHAPTER 9: PRISON BREAK (Complete)
* K - The First Story (List of Chapters) * Projects & Chapters
Translation: Naru-kun Raws: Ridia
"In the following, I would like to report on the contact accident between the Himmelreich airship owned by the wealthy international Adolf K. Weissmann and the helicopter of the Metropolitan Police Department. According to the police announcement immediately after the accident..."
The day before the school festival, Kukuri, who went to school early in the morning, was glancing sideways at the morning news on television in the student council room while she did the paperwork.
"Last night the distant sky glowed, maybe that's why."
When Kukuri said that, Asama opened her eyes.
"Hey, Yukizome senpai, did you see the airship explode?"
"No. It just looked like the western sky was glowing, and I didn't know if it was an explosion."
"But it's a shock. The whale in the sky has fallen."
"Whale in the sky?"
"It's one of the nicknames for that airship. That airship has been flying over Tokyo for a long time... it has been said that it has been flying over Tokyo since the end of the war, so there are various rumors and urban legends. Look."
On the television reported by Asama, there was a comment from the people of the city about the fall of the airship.
"Oh, that airship... wasn't it related to some new religion?" The clerk-like man didn't seem very interested.
"I heard that the man up there was like a living god, Ah, thank you, thank you." Said an old woman with a mysterious atmosphere, praying with her hands and holding some prayer beads.
"Well when he broke his heart, he got fluffy." "Nyahaha, it's impossible! It just crashed!" A flashy duo of high school girls giggled playfully.
Oh, this, Asama looks at the last high school girls in the picture and says.
"The urban legend of asking a blimp for help when it is sad or difficult is quite famous, and surprisingly many people believe it. There is an app for that... huh. I wonder if it was called 'Candle'. It seems to be one app that only lights a red light like a candle on the screen, but for some reason that light seems to be visible even from a very long distance, and targeting the blimp is the SOS signal somehow."
It was an interesting story, but purely questionable, and Kukuri bowed her head.
"What do you do after the blimp picks you up?"
"There are several theories about it. The simplest is that the foreign on board will listen to you."
"Hey, it's a flying counseling room for problems."
"After that, it can give you a mysterious power."
"Oh, the story is about to begin."
"It can take you to another world where everyone can be happy."
"Hm, isn't that scary?"
"It's a bit scary, isn't it? The official name of the airship, Himmelreich, seems to mean heaven."
"I wonder if it's romantic or scary."
After getting excited, Kukuri shook her head, remembering that that was the subject of the accident.
"I wonder if the person who was traveling there died..."
"Oh, by the way, it hasn't been reported for some reason. But this is an accident..."
"You guys…"
She hears a loud voice from the side. Student council president Hyuga Chiho, who was quietly processing the work, stopped and looked at Kukuri and her friends.
"It's nice to talk, but can you take your job seriously? The school festival is tomorrow."
It's scary when a beautiful woman silently gets mad. From the back of her glasses, she kept staring intently, Kukuri shrugged. Asama was holding her request for some reason.
Kukuri changed her mind and went back to paperwork. As Hyuga says, the school festival will finally be tomorrow. They have to prepare everything to finish on time.
Asama, who had returned to work to check the necessary items that day, said, "What?"
"Yukizome senpai, what is going on with the purchase of the missing fireworks?"
"What? What happened...? I'm sure I asked someone to buy them the day before yesterday..."
Surprised that she couldn't remember, Kukuri rolled her eyes in black and white. It was strange. Although she was busy, she Kukuri is not a person with a bad memory, and it is not something to forget who she asked for.
"Um... the day before yesterday someone went to buy them... who... but that person... hasn't come back yet...?"
Hyuga frowned suspiciously as she rolled her eyes.
"Yukizome? What's wrong, are you tired?"
"Well, is that so...?"
When she couldn't understand herself and made a pitying face, Hyuga looked a bit worried and sighed a little.
"Well, I'll fix it here. Originally, it was mainly to replenish the fireworks that were missing due to the statement that young man made to Yukizome. Yukizome, it sure was difficult to stand up to those people."
Kukuri turned red when she was mentioned about the case of Mishina's confession.
However, a few days ago she asked someone to buy the fireworks because she didn't have enough. But he couldn't buy them at the time, or there was something that disappeared because of some trouble along the way. That was the day before yesterday, she should have asked him to buy it again, and also asked for some other necessary items.
Kukuri puts her hand on her head and struggles to remember. However, the contrast between the strangely clear and the important that she couldn't remember was strange and terribly confusing.
"Yukizome? If you're not feeling well, you can rest..."
Hyuga was worried, Kukuri quickly smiled.
"Oh, no! Ok! I'll check the progress."
Kukuri fluttered out of the student council room before it bothered her further.
When she was busy touring the school, she was able to forget the unclear haze.
She asks the people who were practicing the final stage of the work if there were any problems or shortages, she toured the food stores to verify the handling of the ingredients and verified if there were any deficiencies, and if everything was ready for tomorrow. She looked around her to see if there was anything that seemed unlikely, and if there was a danger, she turned around to the staff that was ready and had free time, and confirmed the assembly of the costume parade, which was the event main of the school festival.
"Hello! Is the costume okay?"
When she went to the group that was making costumes in the room, they said, "Kukuri, it's perfect!"
They said they had all the costumes, but the warehouse room was full and they had problems with storage space and left them in the classroom. "I'll be using this classroom tomorrow, so I have to get rid of this. I don't have a place to put them." Kukuri hit her chest, in front of the student who had a worried face.
"Ok, I'll do something about it soon."
Kukuri headed towards the Dorm Manager's room. When she discusses the situation and negotiate if she could use the empty room, she immediately agreed. It would be convenient to put the costumes of the dormitory students there.
However, it seems that the room was empty for a long time, so it might be tiring for her to clean it by herself, so Kukuri headed to the central plaza first.
"Hello everyone, thank you for your hard work! This is the student council. Is there anyone who does not have equipment, needs to turn in a document, or is available to do extra work?"
In the central square, there were Mishina and Inaba who finished making portable shrines. Inaba turned to Kukuri and smiled bitterly.
"Ah, everyone is busy on this street!"
"Are you looking for him again? He must be somewhere around here."
Mishina spoke of "Him" with a friendly feeling.
"Ahhhhhhh!"
Kukuri responds with a smile that is a good idea and it solidifies.
"Are you okay?"
Certainly, Kukuri's head must have had the same "someone" that Mishina had in mind. However, that "someone" disappeared from Kukuri's head in an instant. In the student council room, Kukuri had the same feeling of not being able to remember "someone" that he should have gone shopping the day before yesterday.
"Who was he…?"
Mishina opens his mouth with a laugh, wondering how she forgot. Kukuri waited for the name that should come out of Mishina's mouth, but Mishina also turned his head with his mouth open.
"Mishina, we are fine here. You can go with her."
A student who was finishing the portable shrine with Mishina told him that, and Mishina turned his eyes towards Kukuri, who looked a bit confused.
Since the confession case, Mishina and Kukuri have been feeling a bit uneasy. However, even though Kukuri had no romantic feelings, she would like to continue associating with Mishina as her friend. She smiled awkwardly and bowed slightly.
"Ah… well, thank you very much."
"Oh, yeah..."
Inaba laughed a mocking face when they were both embarrassed.
She put an excuse in her heart that it wasn't because she was awkward, but because she needed a little more manpower, and personal recruitment, saying, "Well, a few more people."
In the end, Inaba and another boy went as well, and Kukuri told them that she would like them to help her clean the empty room as she walked to the bedroom.
"Bedroom?"
"If you put the finished costume in its place, they can change clothes directly that day."
Upon Kukuri's explanation, Inaba says, "Oh, I see."
Kukuri was confused with her busy schedule, and the haze had returned. She felt as if she had forgotten something important.
Suddenly, she saw a vending machine. She thought she bought some juice here the other day, so what happened to that juice? She feels like she gave it to someone, but to whom...
"What are you doing?"
When Inaba called her, Kukuri suddenly returned to her.
"Oh, sorry, nothing."
She now she had nothing to do with it.
Kukuri quickly caught up with Inaba and her friends, who had gone a bit ahead, and entered the bedroom.
"So we have to clean the bedroom before we put our things inside. They told me we could throw everything away."
Kukuri laughed and opened the door to the empty room.
The room was filled with strangely unoccupied air. Cleaning is done by a large number of "Tsukumo 99" cleaning robots in the school, so even if it is not dusty, it does not have the taste of "a room that was left unattended until now".
"This feeling of life, I mean..."
Perhaps Inaba thought the same, she looked around the room and turned her head. Mishina thought so too.
"Looks like someone lived here."
"Well, I guess he was taking a nap without permission. See, that guy?"
At Inaba's words, Mishina and his friends laughed at each other. When they talk about "Him", everyone just smiles.
Inaba smiled too and said, "That boy…", and then she probably tried to say the name. Suddenly, she changed her expression.
"Huh, that boy?"
Gently away from Inaba and her friends, who were staring at each other mysteriously, Kukuri quietly walked over to the kitchen and took the rice cooker.
She was frustrating and lonely.
Such feelings arise in Kukuri.
Someone was cooking rice with this rice cooker. A vague but sure impression remains on Kukuri. Shiro, happily helping himself to another rice, and that's it.
Kukuri looked around the room as she held the rice cooker.
She doesn't know why, but the feeling of throwing things from this room into the trash has disappeared from Kukuri.

As the Himmelreich, which exploded and burned up close, approached, Kuro's swift decision saved the lives of all three.
Facing the flame of the red lotus that stained the night sky, alongside the boy and Neko who had hardened with his eyes wide open, Kuro quickly swooped down from the helicopter to avoid the direct hit of the blast. In a violently shaking helicopter, Kuro held Neko's body with his left arm and said to the boy, "Hold on!" The boy quickly understood and grabbed onto Kuro's neck, and he grabbed onto a distant place with the force of his right hand, distorting the space, and he jumped out of the helicopter that crashed into the blimp like a bullet.
Although they were safe, both the boy and Kuro were exhausted and confused, and after wandering through the night to find a place to rest for the moment, they arrived at a motel at the end of the field.
It is a place where you can calm down without revealing your identity, which is why it is an embarrassing place, which is why Kuro entered with a bitter decision.
The boy, who was more tired, was lying on a heart-shaped double bed and fell asleep. Having been a disaster both mentally and physically, now, he was thinking that he should take a break and recover even a little bit.
And Neko.
"You... you seem fine..."
Neko was fine.
The motel she first walked into seems to be a weird place to Neko, and instead of being unpleasant, she enjoys the interior of the room filled with things like an amusement park and juice in the bubble bath with a strange mechanism. So when she came out of the bathroom, she sneaked out next to the sleeping boy, with her bath towel and no clothes on, and when Kuro stopped her, she started a fight against Kuro again.
When he was frightened by Neko's naked body, she intentionally showed her nakedness, and when he tried to dress her, she jumped across the room and ran away from him, after working together they were exhausted and sat on the floor.
"Hmm... I'm always fine like this."
"I'm afraid of that inexhaustible physical strength, but please calm down a bit." After a long battle, Neko was half finished, but he managed to put her clothes on. During the process, Kuro sighed for a long time and looked at the boy on the bed, who was still sleeping without any sign of waking up even though he was very noisy.
"If you're depressed you go crazy, well, I don't care if you're okay. However, you should reflect on it properly."
"Reflect? Oh, Kurosuke, Wagahai moved the helicopter, are you still angry?"
"Oh, yeah, think about that too! Thanks to your irrationality, the three of us were almost caught in an explosion and charred!"
With Kuro's scolding face not working, Neko sharpens her mouth. Kuro changed his expression with raised eyebrows, took a small breath and then lowered the tone of his voice.
"But that's not what I'm talking about now. It's Shiro."
"Shiro?"
Kuro lowered his gaze lightly.
It was a short time for Kuro, but he felt comfortable when he was in Gakuenjima and got involved with Kukuri and the others. It was the same for the boy. The boy believed that Gakuenjima was his place, and that Kukuri and the students in Gakuenjima were his friends. Considering how he felt when he found out that he was a ghost, he had an indescribable feeling.
"Hey, Neko."
Kuro turned to Neko. Neko held back for a moment as if the fight had continued, but when she saw that Kuro's eyes were serious, she lowered her hand.
"Shiro won't get mad at you, but your power is terribly powerful. If you feel like him, you can make someone else's life your own."
Neko shook her shoulders at Kuro's words. She seemed like she was afraid to remember something.
"But if you wield that power, you could destroy something important to others. If you force him to do what you want, it is false. The reward will come soon."
"Hey..."
What should he do?
As he said that, Neko turned around and shrugged.
Kuro put his hand on Neko's head.
"Isn't it just a matter of saying you want to stay with Shiro without doing that?"
Neko opened her eyes and looked at Kuro. Her beautiful strange eyes shone with surprising color, as if they had just dropped the scales.
For a brief moment, Neko looked at Kuro with a respected look, but she soon returned to her and turned around.
"Hmm! You're trying to cut Shiro with your power though, Kurosuke!"
It hurts when they hit him there and Kuro got stuck on words.
Kuro has an important mission. If the boy is bad, Kuro must kill the boy for that "reason".
The feeling of not wanting to cut it was already welling up clearly in Kuro. Kuro believes in the current boy. And he hoped the last boy wasn't bad.
"If Shiro isn't evil, I won't cut it. When all this mess was cleared up, I would cook rice again. We would go to Gakuenjima and this time there would be no lies. Shiro will greet Kukuri and the others, they will be friends again and we will eat together."
It is a story when everything is done the way you want. However, he felt that fantasy gave him the power to face the things that he had in front of him.
"Will I have fish?"
"That's right. The fish may be the horse mackerel you liked, and the horse mackerel is delicious this season. The shiny teriyaki and horse mackerel simmered with radish are good too."
When he thought of the food he wanted to prepare for them to eat happily, several things occurred to him. Cooked rice with salmon and mushrooms will surely please them. Pork soup with abundant tuber and juicy fried tofu with fried eggplant. Which is better, omelette rolls or sweetly roasted eggs?
He saw Neko drooling. Kuro secretly loosened his expression.
Looking forward to a delicious meal, they will face off today. It is simple, but he believes that it is something important that forms the basis of human beings.
The uncertain boy who was built on illusion is also a flesh human who eats well, sleeps, laughs and cries.
Kuro closed his eyes.
When the boy wakes up, they will talk about the future. Aiming for the future they want, but fighting without running away, no matter what reality gets in the way.
With her determination on her chest, Neko leaned slightly against his back. Feeling a bit forgiven for the stray cat, Kuro giggled a bit.

Munakata stood in front of the Mihashira Tower.
The skyscraper tower, which stands out in the seven areas of Kamado where Japan's central institutions are concentrated, is the residence of the "Golden King" Kokujoji Daikaku, and a huge institution that divides the political economy of this country from behind.
Looking up at the majesty of the tower, which added a Japanese design to the modern and functional construction, Munakata silently pulled up his glasses.
Last night, the Himmelreich, surrounded by helicopters from "Scepter 4", suddenly exploded and burned, involving a helicopter and crashing.
"Scepter 4" immediately cooperated with the police and fire department to extinguish the fire at the scene of the accident, evacuate and rescue the general public, they searched for Adolf K. Weismann, the "Silver King", who should have been to aboard, and members of "Scepter 4" who were aboard the seventh helicopter involved.
The helicopter that had crashed into the river was immediately identified, but the interior was unmanned and no bodies or injuries were found. At first, a desperate search was carried out as if they had been dumped, but in the end they were found intact in a completely different location. None of the three crew members of the crashed No. 7 helicopter boarded the helicopter. They were found passed out in the warehouse and had no recollection of what happened just before boarding.
In other words, there were other people in the helicopter who made suspicious movements just before the Himmelreich explosion, and they were probably alive and on the run. Munakata laughed when he heard the report that he was the man he couldn't catch.
On the other hand, Adolf K. Weismann was stepping on the line that suddenly disappeared and was the thickest, but to his surprise, the body was found.
The immortal "King". The First King is said to be immortal, but he easily died that way.
However, Munakata did not see it with his own eyes, because the "Rabbits" had arrived.
The men of the Golden clan "Tokijikuin", and guard of Kokujoji Daikaku. They are a group like a shikigami who hide their faces in the form of a rabbit, wear a kimono as a bandage, erase their individual characteristics and quickly carry out the orders of Kokujoji Daikaku.
Rabbits. Their moving was nothing more than Kokujoji Daikaku's order. The police, who were in charge of the scene, immediately said: "I accepted the offer of the rabbit and handed over the scene.", And the media they were interviewing also said: "The rabbits, we can no longer get new information from here."
"Scepter 4" is also formally like a subordinate organization of that system. At the site's discretion, "the rabbits could not go against their will, and Weismann's body found was recovered by the Rabbits without explanation."
But this time, he couldn't get it out if it was his intention.
Weismann is an important reference in the case, and if the "Golden King" was able to hide it in his own way, it cannot be overlooked, even if it is too big.
That is why Munakata Reisi went to the Mihashira Tower in person.
"Wait here."
He ordered the companions, Kamo and Goto, at the entrance of the tower, and when he removed the saber from his waist and entered the place leaving it to Kamo, the "Rabbit" immediately greeted him and led Munakata.
The room where the Dresden Slate is embedded is the top floor of the tower, which is high enough to pierce the sky. The closer he was to the Slate, the more the power of the "King" in his body felt like a buzz.
"The Fourth King, Reisi Munakata, will initiate the interview."
The "Rabbit's" voice echoed, and the door like a shoji opened automatically.
In the center of the great hall, which had a glass floor, he saw a tall and strong old man over six feet tall.
The Second King, "Golden King" Kokujoji Daikaku. Next to the old man, who was 95 years old but did not show the shadow of decline, was a capsule large enough for a person to lie down. He thought there was something he wanted in front of him, but Munakata walked slowly over the Slate without showing his expression.
As he got one step closer, the pressure released by Kokujoji increased. Even though they were both kings, the aura of Kokujoji, who had been a "King" for almost 70 years, was exceptional. It seemed that the universe revolved around him.
Munakata has met and exchanged words with Kokujoji several times in the past. However, the pressure from Kokujoji that he felt now was stronger than at any other time in the past. Munakata inwardly understood that this was evidence that Kokujoji was disturbed.
He didn't know if it was out of anger or sadness, but Kokujoji's energy was rippling now. The wave turned into a pressure as if trying to eliminate Munakata from that universe, and attacked Munakata.
However, Munakata was also a "King", even though he was only two years old from Kokujoji's perspective. Munakata also has a Munakata universe, and there is providence.
Munakata walked to the correct position without losing his temper.
"King who has come to the Slate, I ask you, are you here to fight or speak?"
Kokujoji Daikaku said.
"I come without my sword. I am here to speak."
Munakata replied.
The meeting place between the "kings" was a form-oriented way of fighting, confirming that it was a meeting, not a war.
"It's been a long time, Excellency."
"Let's skip the introduction."
It was a terrible reaction, but Munakata kept smiling without caring about it.
“First of all, let me thank you. Thank you for interceding in the recent Royal Blue situation. All information obtained through extralegal measures will be used for the public good."
"I'm telling you to get to the point."
A heavy voice blocked Munakata's mouth. His roughly carved face didn't move, and it was hard to tell from the facial expression what kind of emotions were building up in his chest.
Munakata said clearly, forgiving the intimidating feeling emanating from Kokujoji.
"Bluntly then. I believe that the body obtained by your men from the Himmelreich is of the First King, Adolf K. Weismann."
"That's right."
Munakata stared at the capsule placed next to Kokujoji. Content cannot be viewed from distance and angle from where Munakata is.
"Weismann, the 'Silver King', was the origin. His attributes are immutable, right?"
"What do you mean?"
"The sudden death of the 'Immortal King' that kept his youth and power at its peak for over half a century. There are many mysteries in this situation. Please allow me to inspect the body."
Munakata's words changed Kokujoji's attitude. He placed his palm on the capsule as he looked at Munakata. He could see that his hands were clenched and trembling slightly.
The air moved gently. The pressure emanating from Kokujoji increased dramatically. He became almost a physical force, swelled and spread throughout the Slate.
His skin prickled. The Rabbit, who was standing next to him, backed away as if frightened. Munakata did not step against the pressure and stood up straight. He floated but stood with a smile on his face.
"It's fine."
Suddenly, the pressure of the road disappeared and he broke free.
Kokujoji removes his hand from the capsule and steps back to make way for Munakata.
Munakata bowed slightly to thank him and approached the capsule.
He saw a white man with long silver hair, stretched out through the lid of a transparent capsule. Appearance appears to be twenty years old. He was a beautiful man who seemed to be a gentle person with his eyes closed.
"The capsule that holds it is not a coffin to cry on. How can I open this capsule, which looks like it is meant to preserve the body?"
"If you feel like it, just do it. However, if you are a 'King', you will understand even in this state. This body is not alive."
The power of the "King" could not be felt from Weismann's body. The heart doesn't move either. He wasn't breathing. He can't see dilated pupils, he has all three signs of death.
Munakata looked at Kokujoji's face. After all, emotions cannot be seen. He wondered what it would be like to find an old friend who had fallen silent for the first time in decades.
In the vague imagination, the "Silver King" was more like a monster, and was a person with the same intimidation and dignity as Kokujoji, but the figure lying in this way was only a young man of the same generation as Munakata. Rather, he made him imagine that Kokujoji was once a young man and once aligned himself with this young man as an equal existence.
A man who stopped time almost 70 years ago. A man who could have lived forever is now cold again, stopping in front of him.
(Is the "Silver King" really dead? The "King" with immutable attributes was killed simply by the crash of his airship. Why? What was that explosion in the first place? Situationally, it's hard to imagine anything other than the "Silver King" exploding, but if so, is this suicide?)
The questions were endless, but it was certainly useless to ask the body.

After cleaning the empty room in the dorm, Kukuri and her friends left the room once to bring their costumes.
In the end, she does not throw or take out the luggage in the room, but simply clean and tidy it up, putting the leftover items back. The rice cooker, bowls, and other dishes in the room also showed signs of being used with care, and she felt that she couldn't bear to dispose of them or pick them up.
"I think I can put my costume on with this."
"Yes. Thanks to everyone's help, we ordered in no time. Thanks!"
As she walked down the hall while laughing with Mishina and the others, a student from the same class came from the front.
"Hello."
"Ah..."
He exchanged a relaxed greeting with Mishina and they crossed paths. Kukuri also raised her hand slightly with a smile.
"Oh, that boy, is he a residency student?"
A few seconds after crossing each other, Mishina suddenly tilted his head. Kukuri also remembers "that?" His shoulders were stiff. The student was standing at the end of the hall, fox-faced. Before Kukuri made a voice, the fox-faced boy opened a room door and entered.
"Eh?"
The fox-faced boy walked into the empty room that Kukuri and her colleagues had just cleaned.
"Kukuri? What's wrong? Let's go early."
Looking back at Kukuri who has stopped, Inaba called out to her.
"No."
She thought it was probably due to her mind. She doesn't think he has anything to do in the empty room, and she was sure that he visited those in the next room. She was shocked for a moment because the fox face was a bit creepy, but now there are many people who are preparing for the school festival and they are dressed strangely. Maybe it's part of the costume parade tomorrow or something.
Kukuri regained her temper and quickly followed the others who were worried.

How many days have passed since then? He was getting tired of sitting still.
Suoh sat on the bed in the "Scepter 4" underground detention center and closed his eyes.
All he repeated was a bad dream. However, in this place, he was thankful that his conscience wasn't so blamed even if something happened, and he thought that if he came across the glasses guy, he would hit him.
He does not know the outside situation. Munakata did not show his face except when he came to give him unscrupulous advice, and he spent his time eating the prisoner food they gave him and lying down without knowing if the situation had progressed.
Suoh wondered how long he should wait. If things change a lot, Kusanagi will probably try to inform him through Anna's responsiveness. He thinks the news comes first, or the other party comes first, but Suoh is not a suffering person.
As he calmly watched the flames waving and swirling inside his body, he thought about going to find answers with his own feet if he had to wait too long, then he heard something fall with a slight noise.
When he opened his eyes, a red dial-type telephone was lying randomly on the floor of the dimly lit cell. The phone was made of cheap materials and looked like a toy. It was lying on its side, the headset went off and rolled, and the phone line was broken and not connected to anything.
A phone that was not connected to anywhere began to ring.
Suoh looked at the phone, which kept ringing with a toy-like sound, without expression.
Apparently, he was hallucinating from someone's mental interference. To the extent that he received something like this, his spirit seemed to be exhausted.
There was a small click and the handset lifted by itself.
"Hello? Hello? Do you have a minute?"
From the raised handset, he heard a frivolous voice with a sign of insanity.
"Who am I, are you wondering? I am the man you are looking for. If I remember correctly his name was… Totsuka?"
Laughter can be heard from the other side of the receiver. As if the jarring laughter was embodied, something like white smoke came out of the phone.
"I'm the one who murdered him!"
The smoke from the phone formed the face of a creepy fox and presented itself to Suoh.
"No, I'm sorry for him. He probably sits alone in the other world, so I'm going to kill everyone from Kusanagi to Yata as well. Should I? Eh?"
The smoke fox revolves around the Suoh like a play. Suoh silently lowered her eyes as he fought against his voice.
"What's your reaction? Maybe next time, I'll entertain myself with that young woman. You know, the one who is always with you. Anna-chan. I'm sure it will be fun, right? I like young girls."
He opened his eyes downward. The smoke fox was in front of him and cheerfully raised the edge of his mouth.
"Oh, I got you!"
When the fox focused on the smoke body finely and turned into a needle, it jumped into Suoh's eyes. The inside of his head swayed. The fox's laugh echoed through his head and body.
"Hahahahaha! Hahahahaha! You did it! If you come here, this! You'll catch me!"
There was a feeling that Suoh's flames were sucked into something that had entered his body.
Suoh's expression twisted into a smile even though he didn't want to laugh, and the edge of his mouth sharpened. A laugh escaped his mouth.
Suoh thought and said.
"I see. This is how you do it."
The distorted smile recedes and Suoh returns to his original expression. He found out that "that guy" in Suoh was upset. Suoh's heart screamed as "that guy" swayed.
If he wanted so much to eat the flames on Suoh, he felt that he could feed him, but the cause of "that guy's" death was that Suoh's drinking did not diminish.
Suoh closed his eyes again and focused his attention on the flames within him.
The boiling flame was always there. A sea of flames that propels and inflames Suoh.
He has lived holding it and screwing it so it doesn't get rough and overflow Suoh and swallow the things around it.
He temporarily entrusted the image to the sea of flames.
The image that naturally arises is a ferocious beast made of flames. The beast repels the "boy" who has entered Suoh and raises its fangs. He found out that "that guy" was scared and ran away from Suoh.
Still, Suoh didn't let go of the fangs he had put on "that guy". A beast that is a mass of Suoh's power chases "that guy" who was trying to escape.
It was a bit like the feeling he had when he was sensitive to Anna. The contents of him and the others were intertwined. Someone's soul and part of Suoh's power flew in sync. He went through the "Scepter 4" camp, through the city, across the sea, dived on an island in the bay, and headed for a room in a building.
A fox-faced person was seen through the flames in the room. The body covered with a fox face is the host of "that guy".
"There?"
The fire beast barked without hesitation or adaptation. He attacked the fox-faced person and Suoh's power exploded.
Suoh slowly opened his eyes. Suoh's consciousness returned from a short trip to the dark cell of "Scepter 4."
He found it. However, he could not be stopped by a remote flame. Of course, he doesn't think it's that easy to get rid of Suoh.
Seeing where he went, Suoh stood up in a refreshing mood. He plucked the magnificent willow with a chain that was holding his hands. The shackles, which appears to have been an extraordinary suppressor, were shattered.
He released the flames a little from his body. The flames that surged from Suoh's body lightly knocked on the prison door and melted the surroundings with the excess heat. Suoh came out of the hole and started walking.
An alarm sounded and several bulkheads closed one after the other, trying to prevent Suoh from walking, but the flames that erupted without caring about everything pierced it. The bright red molten iron wet his feet like a puddle. Suoh continued as he stepped on it.
Right now, perhaps with the glow of running a part of the flame in search of the "Colorless King", the power increased and he wanted to start running again. Suoh did not suppress him by force, but instead he let the flames he wanted to overflow and proceeded while he burned the area.
He felt pretty good even though he had a rage that overwhelmed him.
Maybe it's because he wasn't against the raging flames and trusted himself.
Maybe it's because he decided to walk the way he wanted without being tied to anything.
Suoh literally walked with the heart of the beast released from prison.

Fushimi clicked his tongue as if he had finally arrived.
He knew that he would not be quiet in prison forever, but more than that, he frowned at the bad time Munakata was absent.
Fushimi had come out in front of the main building of "Scepter 4" after ordering a nearby member to evacuate. It is the monster's escape progress route.
The moment he felt that the temperature of the atmosphere had risen, the entrance to the main building turned red and exploded. A blast of intense heat puffed. Even Fushimi, who was far away, felt that the aftermath of the heat would likely burn his skin.
The shadow of a man appeared swaying through the dust and heat haze. A bright red flame rose from the man's body. Man himself is an extremely hot source of heat and the residual heat that melts into the air is visualized as a flame. He looked like this.
Suoh Mikoto. With fiery red hair, sharp eyes that press on people with just the eyes, and a boxer body covered in taut muscles in a short-sleeved shirt, standing in a winter look, even repainting the seasons warms the winter air.
"Fushimi-san!"
A member called out to Fushimi with a voice asking for instructions.
"Even if he does something, don't do anything. Those were our orders."
"But…!"
He hears footsteps approaching. When he looks, Awashima was with a special task force behind the front door. Fushimi shrugged. Now that Munakata is absent, Awashima is in charge of this occasion. Her eyes shone with the will not to retreat even in front of the "King".
"Third King, Mikoto Suoh! You are under the control of "Scepter 4". You are not allowed to leave."
Whether or not he listened to Awashima's recommendation, Suoh didn't stop walking, but he didn't move his facial expression and walked towards her with a relaxed step as if he was taking a walk.
Awashima bit her teeth and drew her sword.
"Stop!"
Awashima concentrated the blue power in the hand that held the sword and launched the attack from him. It is Awashima's great ability that specializes in long distances, in which she uses her power to cut from a distance.
The slashes turned into a grid and attacked Suoh from the front. Suoh refused to avoid or receive it. He just kept walking down the path that he decided to go at the same pace. Before touching Suoh's body, the cut of the blue lattice flew as if the glass had been shattered due to the heat.
Awashima took a deep breath and withdrew.
Suoh stopped once with a face that he had just noticed his way was blocked.
Suoh took a breath. Just with that, the flame that enveloped Suoh grew larger, just like a flame that received oxygen and gained momentum.
Suoh exhale. The scorching power is exhaled with the breath, Suoh's feet make an ominous noise and collapse into a crater, and a small tile is rolled up.
Suoh gently spread both arms. A flame was held on his arm. The gesture seemed gentler, but the tornado of fire that appeared on his arm was fierce.
Fushimi clicked his tongue and ran away. Slipping in front of Awashima, who was still standing, he stabbed blue-powered knives into the ground and raised a shield to protect them.
The twister of flame released by Suoh scraped the stone pavement and burned the surroundings to destroy them.
Fushimi's barrier extinguished like a paper shield in the face of Suoh's flames, but it still helped kill the momentum. Fushimi didn't fall down just kneeling, even though he was hit by the flames that broke through the barrier and the heat dampened him. Awashima who was behind was not dead.
Fragile on the ground that had turned into a pile of tiled stones, Fushimi repeated heavy breathing at best. It looked like air.
He heard footsteps in the sound of flames. Mikoto Suoh was coming.
Fushimi touched his sword.
Suoh walked through the flames and dust.

Kusanagi greeted the boss who came out of "Scepter 4" in a striking way, as if he was erasing what was blocking his way, with a bitter smile.
"Yes, good work."
His friends bow deeply, saying, "Hello!", Like a younger brother welcoming the boss who was released after finishing his duties.
"Mikoto-san..."
Yata was impressed by Suoh's appearance, which he saw for the first time in a few days.
Anna ran to Suoh silently and grabbed his hand. Suoh looked at Anna without saying anything.
It was Anna who felt that Suoh would come out. At the same time that Anna's responsiveness caught Suoh's growing flames, Kusanagi summoned all the members of "Homura". Only the men from the bar rushed here, but soon all the members of "Homura" will join in at the end.
"Boss. Did you finally find his location?"
When Kusanagi said that, Suoh looked at his friends and raised the edge of his mouth a little.
"It's a school island."
An edifying air boiled among the friends. "Kah! Just like I thought!" Yata was excited and clenched his fist.
After all, Anna was right. Kusanagi was also studying the search in Gakuenjima.
Gakuenjima is a very original school that is physically and informationally isolated from the outside world. If they really want to search for it, they either have to put in the time and effort, or they have to go through a lot of hard work.
And now that Suoh has left, the option to dedicate time has already disappeared.
When he looked towards the "Scepter 4" headquarters, Fushimi was behind the destroyed main gate. With a tattered appearance, he was looking at Suoh in a position to stop other members who were about to get up with his hand.
Guilty Fushimi's eyes seemed to be directed at what was ahead of Suoh, not at the destructive action he had just taken.
"Come on."
Suoh said softly and started walking. Yata and other members of "Homura" cheered loudly and followed Suoh.
From his position, Kusanagi could see that Anna was holding Suoh's hand tightly.

"Please, we need to find my mother!" The teenager says as he rests his elbows on to the department's desk, and America pinches the bridge of her nose as another sigh erupts from her.
(If America had to pinpoint where the whole agency started to take the whole Teikoku thing seriously and making him public enemy number one, it had to be here.)
"Look kid, our hands are full with loads of cases", America replies, not even glancing to the direction of the grovelling teenager and his uncle, who was rubbing his shoulders to calm him down. "Especially with a lot of mafia cases popping up lately, I believe that a missing woman ain't our number one priority."
"What my sister is trying to say", Canada jumps in, simply because of the fact he thinks that America saying truthful words is more criminal than the problems they are facing, "is that we will solve the case of your mother once we solve the problems evolving around the whole city." He gives her a pointed look but she rolls her eyes- her brother would do anything to prove her wrong.
"What's your name again, young man?", Philip asks the boy in front of the desk as he enters the reception desk with a notepad. "To remember your plea."
(America knows that once the boy files his name into the notepad Philip would tear the paper and burn it.)
"Daehan Minguk", the boy replies with a small stutter, and he points to the man with him, "this is my uncle, Daehan Imsi."
Philip nods, "Is he your only family?"
"No. I have a mother, Nabi- she was taken by a mob boss many years ago-"
"Wait a minute", Canada holds out a hand to stop Minguk's rambles. "Your mother was taken by a mob boss? Who, may I ask?"
"His name was Teikoku", Imsi speaks up, jaw hardening and a hand subconsciously lingering on his shoulder like it holds his most painful memories. America perks up at that name, and so do the others in the police station. "He murdered my brother - Daehan Jeguk - and Nabi had to... abide to him." His voice becomes strained as he wipes away a tear that had escaped the prison of his eye. "I told her that she didn't need to, but she tells me to run with the twins before she was dragged away by that bastard, and I never saw her since."
"Wait, Minguk had a twin?" Philip scribbles briefly on his notepad before pointing the pen to the uncle-nephew duo.
Imsi nods, "His name is Inmin, but he left our home to join a mob as he becomes more desperate to find his mother." There was a slight edge in his voice, as if that is not the only thing about Inmin they need to know- on the other hand, Minguk was quick to change the subject from his brother; he rambles on about the spots where he had previously looked for Nabi, with Canada reassuring that justice will be brought to his family while Philip nods agreeably as he takes more notes.
In the meanwhile, America looks at them with a bored look on her eyes as she disinterestedly fiddles with her pen. She had remembered being involved in a mafia mob, once- her father was a mob boss and devours territory after territory before settling with her mother for a night and having her. She didn't have much memories of it since her father keeps her from such affairs until even when he was arrested of his crimes. He remembers embracing her before the trial, before he is declared life in prison and she and her siblings bid her goodbye.
And three weeks later America discovers her father had broken out of jail, with no news of where he went.
"... America!" She blinks once again, looking around and seeing that the two were already gone, replaced with Australia and New Zealand who were handling paper documents.
"What?", she snaps at them with a scowl, completely annoyed at the fact that they decided to wake her from her dream produced out of boredom.
"We were talking about the Teikoku case", Canada says, cup of coffee in his hand. "About what we're going to do to him and his colleagues."
America groans, "So you guys are really taking this case seriously now, huh? All because of a son wanting his mother to come back..." She catches the cup of coffee sliding towards her and takes a sip of it, savouring its bitter taste on her tongue.
"Not only that", Kiwi replies with a sigh, "there's been a rivalry brewing within all mafia mob clans this time. A... territorial feud."
"Territorial feuds are the reason why dad got arrested", America crosses her arms, pursing her lips at the memory. "Alright, what's the recent news of the mobs?"
"Two mobs - Poland and Reich - had exchanged bullets today near the public square", Australia responds as he points to a sector of the map, "reason was that Reich accused rival mob boss of murdering a colleague of his."
"Wait a minute- Reich?" America tries to remember who had the name before her mind clicks to the one family of the Deutsches. They had been a rampant mafia family when she was just a nobody officer, but they heavily weakened to the point the former - and late - mob boss of the family, Deutsches Reich, had to run away to another city. "Didn't the last one die and leave his incompetent son in place?"
"Weimar's records seem to have been erased from every company he seems to have been, it seems." Australia fiddles around another stack of papers. "And replaced with Reich's records. Strange, since his kids, West and Ost still have their birth certificates intact."
"That's another mystery the others will solve", America replies, brushing the case off of her shoulders. "I'm talking about how Canada doomed us all by promising two people that we can return their mother to them."
Canada scoffs, crossing his arms, "And we will get his mother back from Teikoku."
"Canada, Teikoku's mob is one of the most dangerous mafia groups I have ever seen in my entire life." America leans back on her chair with a huge sigh, like she has done a lot other than sit on the same chair and answer calls all day.
"But you love danger, don't you?" She stops, feeling Canada's glee from a mile. Her mind tells her she's been caught in her own game and now she actually has to work in this operation to break into Teikoku's most private grounds.
America jumps back to proper shape. "First of all, I ain't seducing Teikoku to the point he spills his disgusting secrets down to the floor."
Canada's smirk grows wider. "We aren't telling you to let the asshole fuck you, my god."
"Does the guy have any relatives outside of him, himself and he?"
"He does", Kiwi starts, flipping through another load of documents. He starts to spread photos of the selected individuals around the desk. "Alright so apparently his father was the former billionaire Tokugawa Shogunate. His mother was a prostitute-turned wife named Edo, and he has two brothers, Tokyo, and Koku- the latter happens to be his half-brother, whose mother is Azuchi-Monoyama."
America blinks wildly at the two pictures of both Koku and Teikoku. Their eyes were as grey as a dark rain cloud over the horizon, threatening to spill its tears into the buildings, their hair as dark as night and smoothed into perfection (Koku's hair was longer than Teikoku's much uptight one though), their face shape more refined and so similar, even more than Tokyo, who was Teikoku's whole brother. The only things that were different is the aura they perceive; Teikoku wants respect and fear, eyes shining with dozens of ambition and malicious intent, while Koku's shine with some form of kindness and perceived innocence, like he has never done something wrong his entire life.
"They look like twins", America states matter-of-factly, and her brothers all roll their eyes at her statement.
"Yeah, which is the reason why Teikoku likes him even more than his own kids." Kiwi takes out two more pictures, "two daughters, one son; Hokkaido - mother is Ezo - Palau, and Okinawa, whose mother is the lost Ryūkyū."
"Testaments from Teikoku's colleagues and victims state that he's quite fond of his brother too", Aussie replies. "Well, someone has to bribe Koku into their bidding." He gives a pointed look at America and she scowls.
"I have a bet that Koku's his second-in-command", Canada says. "It's why he's in Teikoku's good graces."
"Well then", America stands, cup of coffee on her hand, "we'll talk about it with the others later, on what we're going to do with Teikoku's mob."
-
"Tell me, Minguk", Philip says in a much softer voice as he takes out his notepad. "Can you remember how they took your mother?"
Minguk was sitting, legs wide as his hands clasp together, expression looking mournful like a baby animal crawling back to their dead mother which had become victim to the cruel clutches of the circle of life, but the youngling must continue and will fall the same fate as their mother. He takes a deep breath, looking at Philip and everyone else in the room before exhaling loudly, sweat dripping from his forehead like he was forcefully being interrogated by a crime he has or has not committed.
"I was eight, when it all happened..."
"Hurry Minguk!", his mother's soft voice echo through the long and winding alleyways, but his little feet was not enough to carry him through a long and treacherous journey. He waddles as fast as he can, his family members a few steps ahead of him but it felt like they were running away from him now. Overwhelmed with the sense of fear and dread in his senses, eyes staining with tears he fell over and starts to cry, only to be scooped up by his father, who caught up with Nabi - who has Inmin - and Imsi.
He hears loud sounds coming from the corner they had just turned, and he couldn't help but shake a little as his little body snuggled more into his father's shirt, who was sweating much but it was fine, his father is scared, from the way his heart starts to thump.
"Appa, what's happening?" Minguk's small voice finds its way to his father's ears, and between huffs he answered.
"It's nothing, Minguk... there are bad people chasing us... but we can get away from them." There was a small loss of hope in the last sentence, something Minguk notices but did not get; they will get out of here, from the bad man chasing them away from their home.
Another loud BANG! sounds from behind the corners and with a choked cry of pain his father falls down and Minguk yelps, his fear starting to form. He lands on the hard ground as strange liquid comes out of his father's head.
"Appa? Appa!", Minguk shouts as he crawls towards his father's sleeping body, nudging at him to wake up. "Appa, it's no time for sleep, remember? Please wake up!" The young boy touches the part of his father's head pouring out the strange red liquid; it was thick and somewhat slimy, and it crawls onto his hands and clothes with a sense of vengeance. He hears Eomma scream from somewhere ahead of them and feels himself being scooped up by familiar warm arms. He struggles against her strong arms, shouting and kicking and getting the liquid from Jeguk's body into her sleeves. He needs to be there for his father when he wakes up, he needs to tell him what has happened.
"We need to leave now, Nabi", Imsi says, carrying Inmin's small frame, his younger brother looking at Appa's body with wide eyes.
(Why is uncle asking them to leave? Appa is sleeping on the ground!)
Eomma does not listen, as Minguk feels her shaking, trying to hold him as she falls to her knees and her chest heaving as she releases her nerve-racking sobs, making the whole world turn dark and blurry. Even Minguk wishes to cry too, as he tugs on her sleeve and keep inquisitively telling her what is happening, but it was as if a shield went through her and blocks out all the noise he is making. He tugs on her sleeve, on her dress and tries to uncover her face which are now being covered by her wet palms. Imsi's voice is now a muffled and distant whisper.
A small tsk tsk tsk starts to sound from in front of them, and a man kicks Jeguk's slumbering body away from them both. Minguk feels anger inside of him as he lets go of his mother - he hears her shout at him to go back to her arms - and to the towering and standing man above him.
"Oh Chōsen.", the bad man says, snickering and smirking all the way, looking at his mother. "You have no idea how much I wanted to do this."
"Jeguk paid his debt!", Eomma says through choked sobs, still looking at his father's body like she has just lost something dear to her. "Why would you do this?!"
Teikoku shrugs, as he looks at Minguk with those empty, gray eyes, before smiling maliciously back at Eomma. "For entertainment; I've been bored these past few weeks, and I figured I needed something to enlighten me."
"By killing my husband?! Putting my family in danger?!" She scoops up Minguk from where he was standing and he did not fight, as he feels his mother's heartbeat quicken.
"It doesn't have to be like this." The man steps on Appa's corpse like it was just a bump in the road, a speed bump and Minguk doesn't like it as he grits his teeth. He wants to fight him, he really does.
He pulls Minguk away from Eomma, who was now reaching for him with a small plea in her face, but Teikoku kicks Minguk away like a small animal. He starts to cry as he feels the rocky ashphalt come contact with his face and he feels two arms scoop him up, and now he is with Inmin. He massages the gash on his cheek as he looks at Eomma and Teikoku in horror.
Teikoku pulls Eomma up, her frame shaking as he puts his arms around her waist and pulls her closer into her. Eomma's eyes widen as she hears him speak and starts to cry even more than before, with uncle shaking his head.
"Nabi, don't- AGH!" Another bang sounds from the gun Teikoku was holding, straight through Imsi's shoulder, as he drops both Inmin and Minguk to the crowd, with both of them embracing each other for comfort. His ears were ringing from the loud sound, heart racing, as he closes his eyes.
When his eyes open, Eomma and the bad man were not there anymore.
Philip hands Minguk a tissue as he finishes his story, tears streaming down his face like a river with a thousand currents, the tear drops dripping into his jacket like rain in the most calming of mornings before it turns to solemn ones as the clouds go grey and dark as night, no sun to help them survive. Minguk wipes his face, sniffling a little, as everyone in this room share furtive glances with each other on what they were now about to do.
Canada casts America a look, and she crosses her arms while looking at him.
"Did you hear what Teikoku told Nabi?", Philip softly asks as he takes Minguk's hand like a father softly telling his son he had done nothing wrong.
(America can't blame him; Spain murdered his son in cold blood and now he's maddeningly trying to implant himself as a father figure to all he meets.)
"I didn't, but now, I do", his face hardens, resolve becoming more firm, "Teikoku had asked for her body for our freedom."
The entire room is silent; not even the air conditioner's buzz can penetrate nor shatter it. Philip tells Vietnam with a glance to take note and she does. America's throat was dry with anxiety, palms sweating and she didn't know why- she decides it was the officers' breathes, on how they were going to handle this situation and how they will plan this suicide mission out.
Canada speaks first, his voice deep, loud and firm to get everyone's attention. "Records state that Teikoku has brothels all over the city. Some has to infiltrate them, and others have to infiltrate his home."
-
Write; that is what Koku does in his spare time. Write anything that is on his mind with no hint of stopping as he scribbles on any piece of paper to write the words in his mind- be it inquisitive questions to everyday life, general snippets his brain manages to think of as he does work or chores (and he'd hate how he would forget the structure and saying of the words once he is now seated on a table with a piece of paper on his hands), or even the shortest of stories or little prompts his mind gears generate and letting his writing skills be honed for the best. He studies the short sentence he had made for the fourth time, before crumpling it and throwing the paper into the bin.
(His brother had gifted him a laptop on his birthday three years ago, but he rarely uses it unless it's around Teikoku or when he needed something for printing.)
A small butterfly perches on his window, and he smiles peacefully, a sigh on his lips as he stares at its wings, a fiery blaze of fire like familiar ambitious eyes staring back at him before fluttering away, only to be eaten by a bird nestling into the tree. Koku cringes as he hears the crunch of the butterfly, before deciding what he'll write next.
In the meanwhile, Teikoku takes a cigarette out of his pocket, lighting it and putting the damn thing in his mouth, as he looks at the documents on his table with a content look on his face. His gray eyes look up for a moment to check what time it is in the window displayed in front of him, before his cigarette drops to the ground, mouth agape.
In front of his window are a swarm of butterflies, seemingly looking at him with those little delicate wings of theirs.

[18 - Bonds of Evolution!]
“Mitsuki… Do you think Zebra is a refugee digimon?” Elise’s question was straight to the point, but now with two weeks since their encounter with that Gabumon… She had to ask. She’s concerned and really had to ask.
“I told you” the older boy, phone in hands to record a new video of his discoveries from ‘ancient worlds’ (read it as stuff from past generations, 60s to 2010s) but not pressing that ‘rec’ button on the touchscreen, responded “It’s an assumption. Mirai and I were investigating the video from the town’s cameras.”
“Oh?”
“We don’t know why but… He was a BlackGarurumon when he crossed the gate.”
“He got hurt and devolved… Now it makes sense. Maybe he was fleeing from something?”
“It’s what Mirai is trying to discover since then” he frowned, and he had to shove those thoughts away… “Anyway, will you stay and be part of the video about the Tamagochi?”
“I… I need to take some snacks to Zebra. My dad is on a special mission in space, and my mother is working on the next website project.”
“Ah, fair then. Don’t forget to leave your like when i post the video~” he gave her a wink.
She giggled and nodded, then left the room.
“Natsu, is it possible to anyone use the pendant?” Daichi innocently asked, a deadpan face could hide his real reasons to make that particular question.
She took a while to reply, because being Daichi and Kiyoko’s nanny had taught her a few tricks those kids have.
“I assume it is. But you won’t get it from me, space-time travel is a dangerous thing and you’re responsible. Don’t try to use it without me.”
“Fine, I was interested about whatever happened on August 3rd.”
Natsu dropped her cup, but before it fell on the floor she used a pink bubble to capture it. Was he… “Sorry, Daichan but I can’t tell you that. Not yet.”
“Something happened there. In that world… What happened to my father in Mrs. Hikari’s place…?”
“It’s not something you need to know now. That story did not happen to him, it was with another Daisuke.”
“... If it is something that changed him, at least… His other-self is fine now?”
“Yes he is. Look at Hikari, she’s happy right now. Don’t worry, Daichan”
If Natsu could read him like she is able to read Daisuke, she would’ve realized him plotting something. He’s ready to uncover that secret, at all costs.
Mirai was typing furiously again on her keyboard, too focused on to see a kid getting in. She stopped typing once the lights turned on.
“You busy now?” She heard a boy’s voice and turned to the entrance.
“Ah, Taisuke you’re here. Geez, knock before coming in! I need focus!!”
“Sorry sorry” he gave a nervous laugh “So, you are working right now… Any progress?”
She shook her head as response, and relaxed on the chair, “Since you contacted me, I’ve been searching for what you heard from Draki. However… I’ve learned about the others got digivices and some not-known DigiRune fragments.”
A type and a few commands and she opened a screen with various symbols, twelve in one circle and two on a row, separated from the others.
“Daichi and Hoshi have these unknown two, I’ve found out that they’re Tenacity and Happiness. The other twelve, eight of them has been known since 1999.”
“Hm…” he took a a digivice (!?) from his pocket. It was like Daichi’s but orange details instead “Draki mentioned those were used years ago. At least nine of them.”
“I wonder why does that digimon know a lot about the time of the legendary Twelve” she rested her chin on her hand, very alike Koushiro when thinking “Did he ever tell you how?”
“No,” he gave a shake of his head, calmly “He only said that he had met Ambassador Agumon a long time ago, and that that Agumon is my dad’s partner.”
“I see… Have you asked mr. Yagami how did he and Agumon meet each other? I asked my dad about mr. Tento, and he said they’re friends for a long time ago but I assume there’s more.”
“Uh… More?”
“Yeah Like-- Oh wait, a digimon is near the sector F right now. Should I tell the others?”
“... I can go, if things get bad handled tell Daichi.”
A digimon with the looks of a human on a Cerberumon armor -- Cerberumon: Werewolf Mode -- appeared around Tokyo Big Sight, causing some chaos by terrorizing the people and digimon. It didn’t take much time until Ken’s arrival at the place, with Jewelbeemon.
“Capture the enemy” Ken ordered Jewelbeemon, “We need to ask them a few questions.”
“Roger.”
While the battle begun, the police tried to remove innocents from the area. On another place, Mimi had been in the TV Station and recording the next episode of her cooking show.
“And then you have a very delicious American Style Pancakes~ What do you would like to cook now? See you next time~”
“And cut” The director was Michael, Mimi’s husband. He had a smile in his face, “You were amazing today! Ah, Lilymon too.”
“When I evolve to this form, I can fulfill my inner chef~” Lilymon chirped “Oh next time we can try to make Croissant, like the ones we ate last month in France!”
“It’s a good idea!” Mimi grinned “Ah, I’d like to try make Pain au Chocolat too!”
A second later, the lights flashed til them shut down. Mimi and Michael looked at their digivices, and then they all fell the structure of Fuji TV tremble. They decided that this meant a digimon attack, or an earthshake. When the trio went to the window, they saw a MetalTyrannomon causing a fuss outside.
“Mimi” Lilymon gave a serious glare at her partner, who nodded. Michael looked back and to Betamon.
“Betamon and I will lead everyone to a safer area” he ran to the exit “Lilymon and you can handle it for a while, right? Call the Digimon Special Cases Unit for support.”
“Okay! Time to give them a lesson to not put everyone in danger! Lilymon, try to convince them to stop, maybe if you use your Flower Necklace against them?”
“Ok! One Flower Necklace might calm them down~”
Lilymon and Mimi left the building by the window, with the fairy-like digimon carrying Mimi in her arms. Once they landed, the duo noticed the mysterious Brave Tamer and a Blue Greymon fighting MetalTyrannomon, and the kid shouting to the innocents next to the area to leave quickly. Greymon wasn’t able to fight a perfect level digimon alone, but was enough to hold it for a while. Mimi glanced at Lilymon and her partner flew towards the fight, trying to create a ring of flowers around MetalTyrannomon’s neck. But before, Lilymon put Mimi at a safe distance from the fight.
“Ah shoot… It’s...” he muttered to himself.
“Hey child, you shouldn’t be here-- Huh, do I know you?”
“A-ah…? No you don’t!” he tried to mask his voice, making it a bit deeper “That digimon is targeting the Fuji TV building and Greymon and I are here to save the day, heheh.”
She didn’t believe it at all, or did she? Whatever was Mimi’s thoughts, she distracted for a second and something very very strange happened. She saw Lupinmon to the other side of the road, with a device. The black light coming from it hit MetalTyrannomon and made it evolve to RustyTyrannomon.
“What’s happening here!?” Mimi gasped, as Lilymon and Greymon are thrown away.
“G-Greymon!!” he dropped that tone of voice, running towards his partner.and stood closer to the digimon’s head “Are you okay, Greymon?”
“That voice…” Mimi thought, but her chain of thoughts had been interrupted when RustyTyrannomon tried to hit the kid and Greymon “W-WATCH OUT!!” she yelled desperately, only to see Greymon eyes glowing and getting his body covered by the evolution’s light.
The blue Greymon evolved… to a black armored WarGreymon, like the one the Chosen Children had fought in the past. However, the only new detail was that the Black Shield on his back had the Crest of Courage.
“W-what…??” Brave Tamer was petrified at the moment, with his partner blocking RustyTyrannomon’s attack “You… You evolved?”
Lilymon mega evolve! Rosemon!
To counter attack the enemy, Rosemon appeared and threw her vines against RustyTyrannomon, “Let’s send it back to the Digital World” she told WarGreymon, who nodded and looked back at the kid.
“Stay with that woman” WarGreymon ordered “We will handle it.”
“R-right…”
Mirai was sure something odd had happened, but she didn’t take part of it. She realized that two digimon had been in battle and those being Cerberumon and RustyTyrannomon. However, a third digimon approached from Elise and her new digi-friend.
Quickly, Mirai searched for the closest kid in the area. She at first thought of calling Daichi but she couldn’t find him at all. He was out of her reach. Her other option was…
“Mitsuki!! Big Problem, Elise is in danger! An unknown digimon is approaching from her and the found Gabumon, I can’t call Daichi or anyone so only you can assist her!!”
Mitsuki gasped, but had the sense to go and help his cousin as soon as possible. He quickly turned the computer off, grabber his D-TimeRune and went to the rescue.
But… How about Daichi? Why was he out of Mirai’s reach?!
“I can’t believe we’re back here” Ulforce wasn’t expecting Daichi to be ‘lucky’ and open the door to the same alternate world again, with the difference of it being three years later “How did you do that?”
“You weren’t tricking me, were you?” Natsu squinted her eyes at Daichi.
“No. It was a coincidence, and I feel there’s something we need to do here.”
Odaiba was normal, but something was odd. It was grayish, like if it colors had lost. He had to realize… That wasn’t even a normal world. They heard Ken’s voice.
“No… Please stay away from them…! You… You want me right?!”
The space-time traveler trio approached, and then hid behind a building. What they saw was the younger kids with Taichi facing… Daemon.
“What the…!?” Natsu whispered.
“Ichijouji no!” Taichi said “You can’t do that!!”
“I already hurt everyone, I can’t let--”
A truck stopped near them, and Arukenimon got out from it.
“Ichijouji Ken, you will come with us.”
“No!” Daemon spoke quickly and before Ken could answer her “He will come with me.”
“He will go with neither of you!” Daisuke growled, “Silphymon!”
“Wait Daisuke” Ken stood in front of the group, “Why should I go with you Arukenimon?”
“Wait, would you go with either of them!?” Miyako gasped.
“Oh, you won’t want those children to be disappointed with their favorite genius~” Arukenimon then open the truck’s doors and revealed children inside “Your choice, brat~”
“... You…!!” Ken had no other option and walked to the truck. The group and Daemon were surprised, but the 02 team and Taichi were the vocal ones.
“Don’t do that!” Taichi yelled “Ichijouji, don’t--”
It was too late, Ken entered in and Arukenimon closed the doors. She returned to her seat and the truck left. Daemon murmured something, like swearing and followed the truck.
“Ken!!” Daisuke tried to go after it but no lucky. Hikari evolved V-mon to Lighdramon, grabbed Wormmon and went after them “Hi-Hikari!!”
“That girl is audacious” Iori blinked, “So uh, what should we do?”
“Daemon Corp. is still around” Taichi begun “Imperialdramon is out of question, so I think it’s up to the rest of you. I will grab Yamato so we can plan how to rescue Ichijouji and assist Hikari. Daisuke, you’re the lead here.”
“B-But big bro…!!”
“Um… Can we help?” Daichi, Ulforce and Natsu walked into their direction. Again, he hid the goggles under his scarf.
“Wh-who are you!?” Miyako gasped “You look like Daisuke!!”
“No I don’t,” Daichi sighed “I’m just a regular Chosen Child.”
“... Any help is welcomed” Daisuke nodded “Who are you, kiddo?”
“... Just call me by Daichi please.”
“Ok, I’m Daisuke and these are Miyako, Iori, Takeru and my brother Taichi.”
“... We will follow them, if you trust us.”
Taichi and Daisuke looked at each other, then to the group. Could they trust that kid? Also, where did he come from? It could be a trap, or not? After a few minutes of glances at each other, Taichi shrugged.
“Ok, you kid go after Hikari and Ichijouji. The rest get focused against the Daemon Corp.”
“Right!” they all agreed.

Semi Otoko (Cicada Man) - Story, Cast, and Comments
From the Official Website of the show  https://www.tv-asahi.co.jp/semio/#/?category=drama
Start Date: 2019.07.26 (Friday) 11:15 pm JST on TV Asahi
“What a Wonderful World!” - Semi
Tumblr media
STORY
This is a miraculous love story between a beautiful cicada prince and a 30-ish woman
The story was set in an apartment building called “Utsusemi* Sou (Manor)” located just outside the city center. The old, but tasteful and elegant English-style building was home to a number of unique residents.
Semi was a cicada born in the garden behind the apartment complex. After spending a long time underground, he was finally ready to emerge in the summer. "Finally I can go to the world I so longed for!” --- with high expectations and exuberant spirits, he popped out of the ground, but in that moment, he felt a woman about to land on his head…! “I went into the world as determined but I am going to die before I even take flight…” Just as he was ready to accept his unavoidable death, the woman managed to swerve and fell just a little off to his side. Semi cheated death this time.
The woman was Yuka, who lived in “Utsusemi Manor”. She was a 30-ish (arasa) woman who worked in a food company and spent most of her days not doing much.  Semi, seeing Yuka’s lonely and dispirited face, decided to become human to thank her for saving his life, promising to fulfill Yuka’s wish!
Without knowing why, Semi and Yuka spent 7 days living together. Although she was often shocked and bewildered by Semi’s weird and otherworldly behaviour, she started falling in love with this semi prince who was doing everything he can to try to make her happy.
The emerged Semi can only live for 7 days above ground - don’t you all want to see how the miraculous love story between the beautiful, personified Semi and the sullen, 30-ish Yuka?
* I looked up Utsusemi in the dictionary.  Utsusemi apparently means “man of the world”, “”the real world”, or “temporal things”.  It also could refer to a “cicada shell” or “cast-off”. So I guess it is a double entendre.
CAST
Tumblr media
Semi (Yamada Ryosuke - Hey! Say! JUMP)*
This summer, Semi emerged from the ground (as a human).
In the moment he emerged from the ground, Yuka was about to fall on him, ending this chapter of the story… as he thought about that, Yuka brilliant "avoidance" saved his life.
He became concerned about Yuka, who is kind, but also a bit sad. “Can I do anything for this person?”, “I want to make her smile.”, he started thinking…
With that, he transformed into human form (very beautiful), and started living with Yuka at “Utsusemi Manor” in his limited, 7-days lifespan. To Semi, everything in the world is glorious, a place he yearned for. That’s why his catchphrase is “What a wonderful world!” His favourite food is maple syrup.
Since he is a cicada, he is not familiar with normal human behaviour, so he frequently act in weird, other-worldly ways.
* Weird. I thought Yamada stopped being credited with the group’s name since a few years ago. I guess we’ll have to see the credits on the episode itself.
Okawa Yuka (Kinami Haruka)
A 30-ish woman who lived in "Utsusemi Manor". She worked in a food factory and was really bad at communicating with people (not a smooth-talker). Anyway, she did not have much of a life.
Both her parents were hardcore gansters (Yankee). Her brother was The Legendary Yankee. One day, she unknowingly reported her brother’s crimes to the police, and everyone around her blamed her for this. As a result, she found it hard to live in her hometown and moved to Tokyo.
Since Semi was furiously expressing his thanks for saving his life, and before she knew it, she started living with him for the next 7 days...
Kumada Minako (Imada Mio)
A resident of “Utsusemi “Manor”. She dreamed of becoming a designer, so she went from Fukuoka to Tokyo. She attended a school of fashion and asked Yuka for help on many of her sewing projects. She made clothes for Kugiko, Nejiko, and Haru, and the residents wore those clothes a lot.
She was the type who would say whatever is on her mind and she’s also very fashionable.
Okawa Kenta (Miyake Ken)
Yuka's older brother. He is famous in his hometown as the "legendary Yankee". He’s a legend is not only because he’s strong, but he may also be a legendary idiot... He was too stupid, so he unknowingly participated in breaking and entering; his younger sister, Yuka, reported him to [the police], leading to his arrest.
Iwamoto Haru (Yamazaki Shizuyo)
A picture book writer who lived in "Utsusemi Manor". She went around wearing a beret and unusual clothes. She was a very strong and kind-hearted woman who was loved by all the residents. She used to be part of a comedy duo with her husband, Masa.
Iwamoto Masa (Yatsui Ichiro)
A resident of “Utsusemi Manor”. He was Haru’s husband and used to be part of a comedy duo with her.  Because he loved Haru so much, he became too sweet as the straight-man in the duo, so he had to give up being a comic. He currently worked in a company [as a regular employee].
Ogawa Kunio (Kitamura Yukiya)
A resident of “Utsusemi Manor”. He worked in an unspecified job and often stayed in his apartment. He kept saying “his body is weak" and "his will die soon", but it had been many years since [he started saying that]. Anyway, he was a man of mysteries.
Shouno Nejiko (Agawa Sawako)
One of the landlords of “Utsusemi Manor”. She was the younger sister of the so-called "Kokubunji Sisters". In contrast to her impatient sister, she was very easygoing and a little slow.
Shono Kugiko (Dan Fumi)
One of the landlords of “Utsusemi Manor”. She was the older sister of the so-called "Kokubunji Sisters". She was very impatient, who always complained about her dumb sister. Although they argue all the time, the sisters actually got along very well.
Comments from the Cast, Writer, and Producer
Semi - Yamada Ryosuke
This is my first appearance in a TV Asahi drama! And I am playing “Semi”! A semi that goes “min, min” (laughs).
When I first heard about it, I thought it was a type of drama that I have never seen before. Since Okada Yoshikazu-san worked on the script, and it is very interesting! It depicted the importance of human connections, and my character has a lot of lines that will move people’s hearts, so it’ll be nice if it resonates with the audience. The story also unfolds in a very interesting way and I hope all of us will have fun making this drama.
Today, we went to take photos and videos for the press release and promotional segment, but it was very surreal! (Laughs) I was filming at a certain park in Tokyo, but the way people looked at me… (Laughs). While I was doing various things like clinging to trees and pretending to fly, a child who was watching said "What is that Onii-chan doing?" I so was embarrassed (laughs). However, I think I want to act well in the drama from the surreal parts to the touching parts.
Tumblr media
Actually, this is the second time I played the role of "Semi." Last time, I was a contract killer called “Semi” in the movie "Glasshopper", which is completely different from the “Semi” this time. I think I might be the only one in this industry that had played "Semi" twice (laughs)?
I have never thought I needed to "understand the feeling of a cicada" in my life, but I guess I have to study hard on its ecology this summer! Since nobody had tried to personify a cicada before, so I'll try to prepare for this challenge!
It’s my first appearance in a TV Asahi drama and I am really excited. Since I have only gone on “Music Station” before, I think it is nice and a bit stressful to see myself in other timeslots.
"Semi Otoko" is definitely going to be the drama that will make you laugh and cry this summer! Please look forward to it.
Ozawa Yuka - Kinami Haruka*
* The official site have not updated the other cast’s comments yet. I got this from the article announcing the additional cast.
When I heard that it is a love story with a cicada, I already thought it sounded interesting. I am very excited and look forward to how this story develops. I want to throw myself into the role and show the changes in the relationships, not just with Semi-Otoko, but also with the various characters as written by Okada-san.
(Yamada, who plays Semi, looks forward to meeting Kinami. "Kinami-san really likes bread ... and so do I! I think I can get a lot of detailed information [about bread] from her while we are filming!”)
Ozawa Kenta - Miyake Ken
This time I'm playing the older brother of Yuka, played by Kinami Haruka-san; the character is said to be “the legendary Yankee,” but he's just an idiot (laughs). However, I want to be a lovable idiot, so I want everyone who watch the drama to feel that way about my older brother character.
I worked with Yamada Ryosuke-kun when V6 and Hey! Say! JUMP were the main personalities in the “24 Hour TV” special, and at that time, we worked on “Stomp” together. My impression is that he was serious and stoic about practicing and he is very responsible. This time, I will do my best to spice up this drama starring Yamada-kun.
This story is a wonderful fantasy in which Semi gradually gains a place in Yuka’s heart. Yuka is a woman whose family is very unhelpful, meets Semi, who wants to properly thank her and fulfil her wish; the little blessings in life gradually become important things - I think that I want to see this Yuka appear.
When you see a beautiful, cute, and pale young man like Yamada-kun in a drama on Friday night, I hope you will feel healed from the tiredness of work and study. Immerse yourself in the elixir that is Yamada-kun’s “Semi Otoko", and I think you can have a pleasant weekend and be ready to face Monday again.
Screenplay - Okada Yoshikazu
It’s been 20 years since I last wrote a drama for TV Asahi, and it is for the “Friday Night Drama” slot, which had been the home of many interesting works before, so I am having a great time [working on this project].
This time, I have indulgently used Yamada Ryosuke-san as my muse for this original project. I was very happy when he accepted the offer to act as the titular character. This is an ambitious project, but at the same time, I am very confident about it. It is at once funny and sad, it will move your heart, and while you may cry, it is not tears of sadness. That’s the type of drama. Yamada-san’s Semi Otoko will surely wash away your tiredness every Friday night. It is “very cute”.
It is not only Yamada-san. The heroine of the story is also someone I really love. There are also a lot of other interesting actors in the show. It is quite fun to write.
You will cry your heart out in the last episode; I probably cried the most as I wrote it.
I hope you can look forward to it.
TV Asahi - Producer Hattori Nobuyuki
These days, you cannot go a day without someone being shamed on SNS.
Someone tried to bring someone else down a peg and take a little pleasure, and [somehow] it spread like wildfire .... It is a difficult world to live in. That’s why I want to make a warm drama that can give people a [virtual] hug and gentle encouragement them in these times.
The gentle yet sad story woven by Okada Yoshikaz-san… This is a "fully affirmative drama" that reinforces everyone's way of life.
Who would you want to give you that gentle hug and encouragement?
For the role of the Semi Prince, I cannot think of anyone other than Yamada Ryosuke-san. He is Japan’s number one “affectionate” and “gentle” actor.  How will Yamada-san be like in the slightly surreal world created by Okada-san…, I am happily looking forward to it.
I hope “Yamada-san is Semi!” will not get dragged on SNS...
Photos and First Teaser
There is no photos or teasers from the show yet since they haven’t started shooting as far as we know. The first teaser is actually a homage to the long running docuseries “Jonetsu Dairoku” featuring actor Yamada Ryosuke and has nothing to do with the actual show.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
The video is also geo-blocked to Japan only.

Bad Luck and Trouble
From the back of an El Camino deep in the South west Texas desert, a young Nymph is sent free falling into the night....In the City of El Paso, a married Nymph learns a Serial Killer is being hunted by a crack team of detectives from the EPPD (El Paso Police Department)....In an Elevator in a Apartment Complex across town, in the city limits of El Paso, Sgt. Sergio discovered the eviscerated body of a Nymphette.
The Return:
It was 2 a.m. when Sergio’s flight touched down at LAX. He stretched in the confines of his seat, then stood to disembark. Closer he thought. So much more closer.
After a short hop and skip, the Turbo Prop shook and shake on its approach to Bishop Saginaw International. A tin can aloft in the skies over Michigan....It was fateful! Fate brought the two together over the “Rockies”. Sergio blushed. The Faerie Nymph waved and smiled at him. The young cunt was into equestrian activities, all her life. Which at 19yrs. old wasn’t saying much.
Sergio’s new assignment had taken him to the S.W United States; by way of Seoul, S.Korea. With stops along the way in Tokyo, Japan; and San Francisco, then a ride to LAX, California. His connecting flight out of Bishop/ Saginaw touched down at El Paso International around 1300hrs. Sergio reported directly to the Army Base (Ft. Bliss, Texas) by way of an airport cab. He had asked the driver to be his chaperone to the border. After reporting in, Sergio immediately asked to go to the border. The suggestions from the cunt in the Turbo Prop, aloft over Michigan, were paramount to his mission.
Getting to the Border Bridge, Sergio immediately hailed a local cab into Mexico. Handing the driver a small slip of paper to which he nodded, ‘Si, Si Senor’. Sergio smiled, as he reached out and palmed his new tour guide a crisp folded Benjamin. The duo sped of into the Mexican night. Sergio embraced his fate, a journey into the unknown. His fate was in the hands of a man who spoke a completely foreign language....Sergio had crossed ‘the Rubicon’, and there was no turning back now. Besides, his growing phallic member, dripping pre-cum, precluded such thoughts of turning back. On into the Mexican night the two journeyed. Sergio, lowered the window and inhaled deeply the hot Mexican air. Cuidad y Jaurez was a border town steep in history, and lore. On the U.S. side, sat it’s sister city of El Paso....The air smelt free. Sergio was free to persue pleasures of the night, at night or day. Images of Mexican pussy flashes through his mind. He embraced the learning curve that was ahead. He had to learn a new language of Amore.
Debauchery:
The Taxi skidded to a halt. The driver / tour guide jumped out, gesturing for Sergio to also disembark. Standing at the Cab they both dusted themselves off; the fine desert sand was caked to their clothing. Sergio followed the tour guide to what appears to be a Barn. The guide walked up, and with both hands pulled open the heavy squeaking double doors. “Those hinges could use some oiling, thought Sergio”. He stepped in. Onto the dirt floor of the dimly lit, sweat and smoke filled Barn, on the heals of his tour guide, pulling the heavy double doors close behind himself. The air was heavy with the smell of sweat, perfume, horse and straw. The cacophony of music and a roaring crowd was deafening. Drowning out the loud, sultry moans of the Nymph-cunt. They made their way up to the Bar and ordered. Sergio lit a Marlboro and let it hung from his lips. He turned to face the crowd, still unable to see what the uproar was about; but certain. Certain that the place was right. That the cunt he had met over Michigan was all gratis. The pair made their way through the crowds, with Sergio following closely behind his guide. Both were careful not to spill any of their drinks. In the center of the chanting, sweat, and horse smelling crowds, a solidly thick and long wooden table. A native cunt layed on her back, with a mid size Stallion atop her. It’s front legs on the table, it’s large horse phallus buried deep in the nymph’s cunt. It’s hind legs apart on the hard packed straw and dirt floor, the trained beast railed it’s massive phallic member up into the Cunt’s perfumed garden. She felt it’s power, and showed her power. The power of a Woman. She felt the power of its massive body atop hers, and the power, strength, and girth of a Horse’s cock smashing into her soft cervix.
The Cunt moaned, long and hard, with every thrust of the horse cock deep inside her cunt. Sergio’s cock hardens. Seeds from his pre-cum dripped down his left leg. And with a thought (he wants her,...after the horse is finished), Sergio held the tumbler to his lips, and in one gulp, swallowed it’s contents of Tequila.

Getting The Facts On Simple Tactics
It all started with a matcha custard pie. While fine-tuning their recipe, Emily and Melissa Elsen — the sister-sister duo behind Four & Twenty Blackbirds  — stumbled on a source that would eventually lead them all the way to Japan. “We met a woman who knew the owner of Ippodo Tea , a 300-year-old family business in Kyoto ,” Emily says. “They produce a superfine, high-quality matcha, and sourcing from them really improved our custard. That’s probably what prompted everything.” That pie would end up connecting the Elsens with more Japanese producers and, ultimately, the New York Fair — a Big Apple-themed arts and culture festival at Osaka’s Hankyu Department Store . For the past two years, the sisters have been the fair’s pie ambassadors, and last year they extended their trip into a full-fledged dessert research expedition. Their latest project, a 10-seat bar and pie counter in Brooklyn’s Prospect Heights neighborhood, channels the hyper-focused, hole-in-the-wall restaurant culture they admired in Japan , where some restaurants only do ramen, some only soba.  Here are some of the sisters' reminiscences, recommendations, and favorite desserts from their trip: 1 of 9 Courtesy of Four & Twenty Blackbirds 2 of 9 Courtesy of Four & Twenty Blackbirds Emily: We got these ice creams at one of the many stalls near the Fushimi Inari shrine in Kyoto. One is black sesame, and the other is yuzu. We had a scoop of hōjicha as well, a roasted green tea with a hint of toasted marshmallow. Melissa: One thing Japanese desserts do well is balance. Nothing is too sweet, and ingredients that might traditionally be savory are used to add nuance.

Hi, and welcome to SteelChair’s Top 50 Tag Teams of the year. In previous years, we’d given you only the Top 10 teams but tag wrestling has just been so damn good this year, that we had to expand the list by five times (five times, five times, five times, five times). Here, we count down the 50-11 positions, covering the best talent that male and female tag team divisions around the world have to offer. When you’re done here, do check out the Top 10, when it’s live, to see if your favourite made it. Without further ado, let’s get started.
Words by Laura Mauro, Steph Franchomme, Humza Hussain, Tom Mimnagh, Tom Beasley, Joe Raczka, John Dinsdale, Dave Adamson, Bradley Tiernan, Stephen Goodman, and James Truepenny.

26- Tokyo Cyber Squad (Jungle Kyona & Konami) – STARDOM
From 25 to 11
25 – Queen’s Quest (Momo Watanabe & Utami Hayashishita) – STARDOM
One of Stardom’s most dominant stables, Queen’s Quest have been no stranger to championship gold this year. Momo Watanabe and Utami Hayashishita held the Goddess of Stardom Championship until July when they were divested of their gold by Tokyo Cyber Squad. But fear not! With the help of stablemate AZM, Queen’s Quest went on to claim the Artist of Stardom Championship.
24 – The New Day (Big E, Kofi Kingston & Xavier Woods) – WWE – Were #3 last year
The New Day’s inclusion in the list of best tag teams may partly be due to their tenure, but despite Kofi’s singles run taking up most of New Day’s time in 2019, when called upon, they have continued to deliver in the WWE tag team scene. A perfect example being their great PPV outing with The Revival at Clash of Champions.
23 – Viking Raiders (Erik & Ivar) – WWE
The booking of the Viking Raiders has been questionable, and that dates back to their debut under the name ‘The Viking Experience’. But since consistently performing on Monday nights, Erik and Ivar have won over the crowd with their unique and breathtaking style (nicknamed “305 Live”), and this was clear for all to see in their fantastic title victory on RAW.
22 – Grizzled Young Veterans (Zack Gibson & James Drake) – NXT UK
Zack Gibson has always been one of the best antagonists on the microphone and NXT UK has rewarded the fans in spades! James Drake is a consistently strong performer and has become the perfect wingman to Gibson. Intense in-ring ability, a naturally dislikeable temperament and supreme confidence, Grizzled Young Vets have come to define NXT UK’s tag team division.
21- Woke Queens ( Debbie Keitel & Valkyrie) – EVE
You have to love Debbie Keitel and Valkyrie. Ireland’s enormously entertaining Woke Queens have only been operating as a dedicated duo since the beginning of the year, but they’ve made quite an impression already. Making their Pro Wrestling: EVE debut in June, the popular coffee-chugging, ABBA-loving pair fought off stiff competition to become the second-ever EVE Tag Team Champions.
20 – Santana & Ortiz (Impact Wrestling/AEW)
What is there to say about Santana and Ortiz? The former LAX have done it all in Impact Wrestling. They dominated Impact as a top draw and held the tag titles in several high-class feuds. Now they have branched out into AEW as Proud N Powerful and look set to do it all again going straight for the Young Bucks.
19 – Street Profits (Angelo Dawkins & Montez Ford) – WWE
It has been a hell of a year for this high-energy duo, who won gold for the first time on the developmental brand before making the step up to the main roster. After several weeks as an enjoyable Greek Chorus on Monday Night RAW, Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins have finally got in the ring, where they’re tearing it up.
18 – Anti-Fun Police (Chief Deputy Dunne & Los Federales Santos Jr) – UK Wrestling
Chief Deputy Damien Dunne, Los Federales Santos Jr, James & Leigh Obstruction (aka The Hunter Brothers, a team who could top this list on their own) and Cadet Joe Nelson have upheld the law in 2019 making sure there’s been no fun (aah) while easily stealing shows up and down the UK and Ireland. But never having fun, no fun, nada.
17 – Kabuki Warriors (Asuka & Kairi Sane) – WWE
The formation of the Kabuki Warriors was rough at best but now they look set to be a dominant force in the Women’s Tag Division. A vicious streak and ignorance of the rules have made them a threat to any woman on any show. They have rid themselves of Paige and are carving their own path of carnage through RAW.
16 – Villain Enterprises (PCO & Brody King)
This somewhat unlikely pairing has become one of the hottest teams in the US Indy scene. Winners of the ROH tag titles, the returning Crockett Cup and the NWA tag titles, Brody King and PCO have gone from strength to strength. And that doesn’t even take into account their success as the ROH 6-man champs along with Marty Scurll.
15 –  Reiwa Ultima Powers (DASH Chisako & Hiroyo Matsumoto)
DASH and Matsumoto are a true force of nature. Between them, Mika Iwata & Chihiro Hashimoto and Medusa Complex, 2019 has seen a resurgence in Sendai Girls’ tag division. The capper to this has been Reiwa Ultimate Powers claiming those Sendai Tag-Team titles. A fitting reward for a team that has pushed the art of tag wrestling like few others.
14 – The Revival (Dash Wilder & Scott Dawson) – WWE
The Top Guys were NXT darlings. They had promo skills, a classic style and the ability to put on excellent matches. Now they can finally do that on the main roster too as they were trusted with Tag Titles and some proper usage. They aren’t quite the joke they had been and should continue to be pushed as top guys.
13 – Best Friends (Chuckie T & Trent?) – AEW
Best Friends, Trent Beretta and Chuck Taylor (and sometimes Orange Cassidy), have a friendship so powerful it has encapsulated the love of many AEW fans. Their patented hug alone is a force strong enough to make any hard cam zoom backwards. Whilst they were unable to progress in AEW’s tag team tournament, they have captured many hearts this year.
12 – Jurassic Express (Luchasaurus, Jungle Boy & Marko Stunt) – AEW
Take Luchasaurus and Jungle Boy, and add Marko Stunt to the equation. It’s divided some AEW fans, yet it works! The wise guardian Luchasaurus is an impressive combination of hard-hitting and high-flying, Jungle Boy with a marketable look and talent to match and Marko Stunt as the annoyingly talented little guy who everyone remembers. Wrestling fans, get on board the Jurassic Express.
11- Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa) – NJPW
That Tama Tonga and Tanga Loa perennial IWGP champions and contenders had another banner year. They took the IWGP titles in February and moved on to the ROH/IWGP title match at MSG as double champions. While that may have been an artistic disaster, they’ve been power players ever since. World Tag League will define their 2020.

#TBT: Privately Talking about a Public Issue: Ganja, or How I Cope with the World
Tumblr media
originally written 4 May 2009
“Participate joyfully in the sorrows of the world. We cannot cure the world of sorrows, but we can choose to live in joy.” – Joseph Campbell
Reporters surround Paul McCartney as he holds his index finger up, microphones and tape recorders desperately wavering in front of his face. He nonchalantly chews on a piece of gum as he makes a speech after his 1984 arrest in Barbados for possession of marijuana: “I’m telling you, this substance cannabis, is a whole lot less harmful than rum punch, whiskey, nicotine, and glue—all of which are legal…I would like to see it decriminalized, because I don’t think, in the privacy of my own room, I was doing anyone any harm, whatsoever.”
Bob Dylan first introduced McCartney and the remaining Beatles to pot in 1964 at the Delmonico Hotel in New York.  And this wasn’t the first time McCartney was busted for possession of marijuana: in 1973 police found cannabis plants growing on his farm, and in 1980 he spent ten days in a Tokyo jail for smuggling nearly eight ounces into the country.
Cannabis, native to Asia, produces tough fiber, called hemp, which is used to make rope or fabric. Dried flower clusters and leaves of the plant are known as marijuana or hashish and contain THC, a psychoactive chemical that produces a euphoric sensation when smoked or ingested. Recorded by the Scythians as early as 500 B.C., marijuana was used across Europe as a “benevolent therapeutic plant, capable of soothing pain, calming anxiety, promoting appetite and digestion and relieving both headaches and nervous convulsions” up until the 20th century (Crawford 2002).
However, many say that marijuana today is significantly different from the marijuana of the Hippie era—and surely from the time of the Scyths—because of “special fertilizers, plant hormones and steroids, carbon dioxide and advanced horticulture techniques…to produce the highest grade, most potent variety.” In contrast to the 1970s in which the “THC content of a marijuana plant was 1.5 percent,” today it ranges from 8 to 20 percent (Greene 1). And it “can impair users’ coordination, balance, and sense of time and distance,” which could be problematic in the workplace and in terms of driving under the influence (Plumb 2).
As early as 1936, anti-marijuana propaganda began to ooze in the United States, beginning with the full-length feature film Reefer Madness. In the movie, the effects of the marijuana compel one man to beat another to death as a woman watches, her shrieks gradually transforming into menacing giggles. The film insinuates that marijuana breeds a loss of control, a disconnection with reality, and intense violence—three things that desperately needed to be combated. The social stigma of drug use held strong until the 1960s, when recreational use became more mainstream and was coupled with protest and rebellion during a time of political unrest. In the 1970s, the Nixon administration officially declared a “war on drugs,” making illegal substances “public enemy number one in the United States” (PBS, 2008).
As something that a person does privately, it is ironic that marijuana use has become the “public enemy.” Marijuana users generally aren’t thought of as out of control or intensely violent, as portrayed in Reefer Madness. In pop culture, they are presented as comedic characters who are perhaps slightly out of touch with reality: Cheech and Chong, Jay and Silent Bob, Harold and Kumar, and the joint-smoking duo of blockbuster Pineapple Express. Each pair becomes involved in some sort of misadventure—generally while stoned—but ultimately turns out able-bodied enough to land a happy ending, usually eliciting laughs instead of leaving a trail of mutilated bodies in their wake. Marijuana users aren’t terrorizing our cities—they’re supposed to be euphoric: sitting on their couches, eating bags of potato chips, and laughing hysterically at Golden Girls. Why should smoking pot be any of the government’s concern if it isn’t causing anyone harm?
In this case, it isn’t the users doing the harm—it’s the sellers. Mexican drug cartels operating in the United States pull in billions of dollars a year with marijuana accounting for nearly two-thirds of their income (The Washington Post 2009). To smuggle their goods across the border and turn a profit, the five major Mexican cartels will go to whatever lengths: beheading Mexican police officials and pumping the chests of rivaling cartel members full of bullets. The American city of El Paso, considered the second safest city of its size, had only 15 murders in 2008; the Mexican City of Juarez, infested with drug lords and unable to impose law and order, had around 1,300. The only thing dividing the two: a thin border. Many Americans are concerned that the violence will soon spill over, and instead of having a primarily drug consumption problem, we’ll be dealing with powerful narcotics leaders who easily dispose of anyone in their way (Campo-Flores and Campbell 2008). In a CNN interview, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton sullenly says, “Obviously, our demand for drugs is what motivates these drug gangs; if they didn’t think they were going to make a bunch of money across the border, they’d go into another line of work.”
As I stand on the corner of University and 8th Street, a truck filled with protesters slowly hurdles by, dozens of others following in the vehicle’s path, holding their signs and banners. People pause on the sidewalk to watch, the distinct smell of marijuana wafting through the air, police officers following behind the group nonchalantly. The signs read “Stop the drug war,” “America’s largest cash crop,” “Cures not wars,” “End the prison state,” and “Stop the lies, legalize.” This is the annual New York/Worldwide Marijuana March, which typically takes place at the beginning of May every year with over 250 cities participating. On their MySpace page, riddled with images of marijuana leaves, the organization says that it aims to “end the drug war, decriminalize users, end the Rockefeller drug laws, and protect the rights of individuals with chronic diseases including HIV/AIDS to access medical marijuana.” The idea of legalization would help economically as well as theoretically decreasing the power and profits of drug cartels: “California’s chief tax collector said that the measure would bring in $1.3 billion a year and save another $1 billion on enforcement and incarceration” (The Washington Post 2009).
But not everyone agrees; during his virtual town hall meeting on March 26, President Barack Obama strutted around in the fashion of a stand-up comedian, a smirk on his face as he coolly said, “There was one question that was voted on that ranked fairly high, and that was whether legalizing marijuana would improve the economy and job creation….and uh….I don’t know what this says about the online audience…” he laughs, trailing off for a moment, the audience in the background clearly amused. “The answer is no, I don’t think that is a good strategy to grow our economy,” he says simply and is awarded an applause. For a question that was voted on by 3.5 million viewers, this was a cop out for Obama.
Perhaps the marijuana question isn’t so easy to answer though. There are contradictory studies from each side: marijuana impairs health, or it should be used as a pharmaceutical; we should continue the war on drugs and hope that the killings of innocent people in Mexico don’t escalate or spread to our side of the border, or we should legalize, tax it, and hope that it doesn’t create a epidemic of harder drug use. Perhaps we shouldn’t be so concerned with the effect of drugs. Instead, we should wonder why the idea of being high is so appealing in the first place. As John Lennon wisely said in an interview on the Dick Cavett show, “I think the basic thing that nobody’s asked is why do people take drugs of any sort…why do we, and you, and anybody have to have these accessories to normal living—to live…is there something wrong with society that’s making us so pressurized that we cannot live in it without guarding ourselves against it? I think if people were allowed to be a bit more free and express themselves then they wouldn’t have to inhibit themselves by taking drugs…people take drugs and drink so as they don’t feel what’s going on around them.”
In a country predominantly focused on the horrors of the world—and this isn’t necessarily a bad thing, atrocities should be recognized in order to attempt to repair them—we are continually shown images of raging wars, starving children, and genocides that seem completely hopeless in fixing. We’re constantly looking for an escape, a way to be satisfied in a world that is so full of suffering. Euphoria has to be achieved some way: through substances such as alcohol, marijuana, cigarettes, painkillers, or anti-depressants. We’re constantly trying to escape the state we’re in, whether it consists of our own personal problems or the problems plaguing the world. We’re past the times of simplicity that existed before the Industrial Revolution, and there’s no way to go back to them; instead, we’re stuck in a complex world of anxiety, paranoia, disillusionment, and cynicism.  The public and the private are indefinitely tied together: the public creates a world we privately want to escape from and our private activities become a public issue of good or bad. Whether it be your right to end your own life, to stick a needle in your arm, to abort something growing inside of you, to marry the same sex: there’s always the issue of control and whether the government has the right to tell you what’s best for you. Do you know what’s best for you or do you need a Big Brother?
