#jay briscoe's death really punched me in the gut #and its probably silly to be this distressed over the death of someone i only knew through a screen #but the briscoes were one of my favorite tag teams #my lifelong friend introduced me to them when we were 18 #they were my first exposures to wrestling outside of the fed #i fucking bought the last ROH PPV that I watched alone just to watch their match #i was already feeling sad prior to this #then this news hits #sorry for being weird about this again #wrestling is special to me and so are it's wrestlers

It's very sad to hear of Jay Briscoe's passing, a staple of ROH the Briscoes had worked all over the place and were part of many classic tag matches. Thoughts go out to his family, especially with his daughter still in critical condition.
