Prompt 255
You know what? Three-way crossover. Danny Phantom, DC, and Monster Hunter.
Specifically something akin to Monster Hunter Wilds (Which isn’t out at this time) where there’s not much or any sort of settlements (from what we’ve seen) though there’s some signs of ancient ones. But several heroes might have erm, fallen through a portal or two and now they’re in some sort of… place full of unknown creatures and monsters.
Dragons, for one, but that’s just the beginning of the proverbial iceberg. And they might be a bit… stuck. Just a little bit.
On the other hand, the Eternal Quartet- that is Tucker, Danny, Sam & Valerie- have decided to go on a bit of vacation before college. You know, get some last bit of feral-ness out and alright maybe they just wanted to not have to deal with other people.
And there’s a bunch of creatures here, and plenty of plants for Sam to get excited about too. And look, Valerie isn’t going to say no to a giant velociraptor sort of creature that she can ride. And- holy fuck Tucker do not harness the power of a storm to power your PDA- Actually stop summoning storms please-

Mystery Meat: Polpette
S01-E01, part 3 of 3: Some Fenton family bonding, and Danny puts an end to the fighting.
Last time on Living Phantom ~ Next time on Living Phantom
Veeeeeegiieeeessss!
Meeeeeeaaaaaat!
Cookie?
Danny shot upwards with a scream, looking around for the ghost. He found himself in his room. “Wha-what's going on?”
Tucker and Sam were at his side in an instant.
“You passed out. We took you home. You've been asleep for four days!”
“Four days?” Danny shrieked.
Tucker laughed. “Nah. It's only been a couple hours.”
Danny flopped back down and threw an arm over his face.
“Knock it off, Tucker. This is the second time today your carelessness almost got him killed.”
“Me? I almost got him killed? The only reason this happened is because you had to be unique. You had to take the meat away! And I'm going to get it back!”
“You want to change that menu back? YOU'RE GOING TO HAVE TO GO THROUGH ME TO DO IT!”
The door slammed and Danny looked up to see he was alone. “Oh well. I'm sure everything will be back to normal by tomorrow,” he sighed.
Pleaded, really. He was more than ready to be done with this stupid fight.
He stayed laying for a moment then got up and went to where his friends had left his bag. He smiled as he saw copies of the notes for the two classes he’d practically slept through with his stuff. He started pulling out books to get to work on his homework when a knock sounded at the door.
“Danny?”
“What’s up?”
The door opened and Jazz peaked in. “Dinner’s ready. I made spaghetti.”
“Thanks, Jazz,” he said, standing up. He frowned when he felt his binder shifting. He reached under his shirt to fix it only to stop when he saw his sister give him a look. He stuck his tongue out at her, but went to his closet to take off his binder. “What happened to your hair?”
She frowned and brushed her fingers through the choppy feathered ends. “Mom and Dad think I’m a ghost and attacked me with a vacuum cleaner. They’re downstairs trying to figure out why it didn’t work.”
“At least it wasn’t the foam this time,” Danny said as he finished up.
“They’re getting worse and worse,” she huffed and they headed down for dinner.
“They’re just excited that the portal’s finally working. They’ll calm down soon enough.”
“Dad has PhDs in mechanical and electrical engineering and masters in physics and chemistry while Mom has PhDs in biology, chemistry, and physics with a master in mechanical engineering. They’re geniuses! They should be doing so much more than hunting fictional creatures!”
“We don’t know that ghosts aren’t real,” Danny said, rubbing his neck. “I mean, the portal works, right? That has to mean something.”
“A portal? They’ve got a hole in the wall that spits out green mist and electrocutes you.” Jazz flinched and gave him an apologetic look. “Sorry, I didn’t mean it like that.”
He shrugged and fiddled with his bandages. “It’s fine.”
“I just meant, the portal doesn’t mean ghosts are real. You shouldn’t encourage them.”
“I’m just keeping an open mind.”
Jazz tutted, but otherwise kept quiet. When they reached the first floor, she went to start plating up food while Danny went to the door to the lab.
“Dinner’s ready.”
Loud footsteps could immediately be heard and Danny backed away as his dad came running into the kitchen. “Spaghetti! You made meatballs, right?”
“Right here, Dad,” Jazz said, grabbing the pot.
His dad eyed her wearily for a moment then said, “If you are Jazzie-pants, you’re the best!”
She threw her hands in the air.
He pressed a kiss to her head then grabbed his plate and loaded it up with meatballs.
“How was your nap, honey?” Danny’s mom asked as she came into the room and wrapped an arm around Danny. “Are you alright? You’ve never passed out like that.”
“I’m fine, I was just tired. I’m all good now.”
“Did you take your binder off?”
“Yes, Mom.”
“Did you do your homework?”
“I was working on it when Jazz called me down.”
“Alright, let me know if you need help with anything.”
“I know, Mom.”
She ruffled his hair then went over to keep his dad from taking all the meatballs.

Danny glared at nothing in particular as his friends yelled to their respective crowds from atop their respective stages.
I’d say kill me now, but it’s too late for that.
He considered calling his mom to see if she’d let him stay home. Maybe he could say he felt like he was going to pass out again.
Sam was to his right, standing atop a school bus surrounded by people waving signs with various pro-vegan and vegetarian sayings scrawled across them. Tucker was to his left, standing atop a popup stage with women dressed like sausage links while a crowd of people wondered about barbeque stands and food trucks.
Eventually, the two noticed him and rushed over.
“You guys put together two protests in one night?” he said, looking between them.
“Meat-eaters, Danny. Always ready to fight. And our high-protein diets give us the energy we need to do it quickly.”
“Vegans are always ready to protest. And because we don't have to waste time cooking our food, we can move even faster.”
“Don't you guys think this is a little extreme?”
“No choice, buddy. You're either with me!”
“Or you're against him!”
Danny ducked his head as they both shouted, “So whose side are you on?”
Suddenly the wind picked up in the schoolyard and laughter echoed around them as Danny’s ghost sense went off. Meat started flying away from the stands and trucks, swirling together into the largest meat monster yet.
“It's lunchtime!” the ghost shouted as both crowds started fleeing.
“Meat! Why have you betrayed me?” Tucker wailed.
Sam looked like she was going to say something so Danny grabbed them both and dragged them over to a tree. “That’s it! This is the last time you two are having this argument, got it?”
They opened their mouths.
“No! I don’t care if you don’t like meat or you only like meat! You’re both going to lay off each other! You don’t have to like each other's diets, you just have to keep your mouths shut and ignore it! You guys are my best friends, but I can not do this anymore! Please!”
They stared at him, shocked, as he broke down slightly at the end before slowly nodding.
“Okay, Danny.”
“Yeah, Dude. We didn’t… mean to upset you.”
“We’re sorry.”
“Really sorry.”
“Great. Wonderful.” He glanced around to be sure no one was paying attention. “Then it's time to make up. Now!”
They wrapped their arms around each other with him in the middle to hide the flash from his transformation and he turned invisible as they let go, shooting into the air.
~~~~~~~~~~B~~~~~0~~~~~0~~~~~~~~~~
Jazz scowled at the sky as the net she was in was dragged across the ground. Why was she cursed with a family like hers? All she wanted was to finish school, get a degree in psychology, and have a normal life. Was that too much to ask for?
“And the Fenton Grappler is working like a charm!” she heard her father say as she got closer.
“I don't understand. If Jazz is a ghost, why hasn’t she phased through the net?” her mother asked.
Jazz growled as the net came to a stop and stood up. As she pulled the net off, she shouted, “Because I am not a ghost! You've ambushed me, suffocated me with smoke, and worse, your stupid invention got Danny electrocuted! What do you have to say for yourselves?”
Her father held an open thermos in her face. “Eat hot Fenton Thermos, ghost gal!”
A few sparks popped out, but nothing more happened.
Jazz glared at her parents and her father frowned down at the thing. He gave it a shake and hummed. “Darn thing still doesn't work!”
Jazz crossed her arms.
Her father looked up at her and after a moment he smiled. He looked down at the thermos sadly. “I, Jack Fenton, from this day forth, do hereby turn my back on ghosts.”
Jazz’s eyes widened and her mother set her hand on his shoulder.
He held up the thermos. “And this Thermos can't trap ghosts because ghosts don't exist.”
He threw it then turned away, bowing his head.
Jazz gaped as her mother wrapped an arm around his and rubbed his back. “Jack.”
“No, she’s right. What have we been doing with our life?”
She’s right? She’s right! Jazz threw her hands in the air and did a spin. FINALLY! She had gotten through to them! Now maybe -
“Thanks for the thermos! ”
“HA! Ghost kid! I was right!”
What?
Jazz turned back to her parents to see they were both excited.
“You were wrong! Ghosts exist!” her father sing-songed before laughing. “I never doubted for a second!”
What? No! They’d been so close! Jazz hissed in her head, tugging at her hair. What just happened? Are they really that delusional?
“Come on, Maddie! Let’s go get that ghost kid!”
Jazz watched them both run off, her father pulling out a machine from one of the many pockets on his belt.
~~~~~~~~~~B~~~~~0~~~~~0~~~~~~~~~~
Danny’s eyes widened as the mini meat monsters the ghost had made to fight him reformed from the kick he’d used to destroy them. “Come on, can’t you cocktail weenies just stay down so this can be over?”
The rings passed over him to return him to human and Danny flinched.
The monsters smirked and grabbed him, flying into the air. Once they were high over the school, the ones holding his arms let go, letting him swing upside down.
He yelped and tried to grab at them to right himself, but they floated out of reach.
Suddenly something smacked his face and he grabbed it on instinct. He held it out and smiled. The Fenton Thermos! Finally, a way he could get the ghost back to the portal! But how to get it to work?
His eyes widened as he felt the grips on his legs loosened and looked up to see the monsters grinning.
They let go.
Danny looked down to see the ground fast approaching. “Change back! CHANGE BACK!”
His energy flared back up and the rings passed over him.
He cheered and turned intangible. He shot his parents a smile as he fell through the ground in front of them. “Thanks for the thermos!”
He twisted under the ground and came up on the other side of the school where the ghost -- the Lunch Lady? -- waited. As he did, an idea occurred to him.
She glared at the thermos. “NO! Soup's not on today's menu!”
“I'm changing the menu, permanently!” he grabbed the lid of the thermos and whispered, “Please work.”
He aimed the thermos at her and closed his eyes. He pushed his energy into the thermos, focusing it towards the thermos’s battery. Maybe a ghost trap needed ghostly energy to function? He felt his energy sink into the device and get drawn in as the thermos hummed to life in his hands. A blast of blue light shot at the Lunch Lady and drew her in like a tractor beam.
“No!” she screamed, trying to break free, but she soon disappeared inside.
Danny sighed with relief as he lost his hold on his ghost form. He felt drained, but closed the thermos with a smile. He went over to where Same and Tucker were hiding underneath decorations from Tucker’s half of the protest and helped them up.
“What happened? Where's the ghost?” Sam asked.
He held up the thermos. “My parents have their moments.”
Some beeping sounded and the three turned to see Danny’s parents running up.
“Ghost directly ahead.”
Danny flinched and hid the thermos behind his back.
“You would have to be some sort of moron to not notice the ghost directly ahead,” the Fenton Finder announced as they stopped in front of Danny.
His parents looked up at him and he gave them an awkward smile. He pointed over his shoulder. “Oh, sorry, Dad. You just missed him.”
“We got a runner!” his dad cheered and they took off.
Which allowed him to see Jazz glaring him down with crossed arms.
“Uh -”
“What did I say about encouraging them?”
“But -”
“Now they're back to square one!”
“Jazz!” Danny called, but his sister ignored him as she marched off.
“So, you're not gonna tell them?” Tucker asked, watching Danny’s parents disappear down the street.
Danny watched Jazz for a moment longer then turned to his friends. “Nah. I think I might've finally figured out what these powers are for. They make me able to help and protect people. To do some good.”
“They make you a hero,” Sam said.
“Well, with great pow-”
Danny threw a sausage at the tech geek.
All three of their phones went off and they pulled them out.
“School’s canceled for the next few days,” Sam said.
“Apparently people think there was a gas leak,” Tucker snorted. “One that’s giving people hallucinations.”
“Those were some painful hallucinations,” Danny joked, rubbing his shoulder.
“So we’ve got a few free days until they get this cleaned up and realize there isn’t any gas. You know what that means?”
“Movies, sleepovers, and Nasty Burger?” Danny suggested.
“No homework!” Tucker cheered.
The boys high-fived and the three set off.
“Do you guys want to stop by the mall before heading to one of our places?” Tucker asked. “We can look for something to wear to Spring Formal.”
“Why? It’s not like any of us are going,” Sam snorted.
“You don’t know that yet,” Danny objected. “We might get dates.”
Sam stared at him for a moment then shrugged. “Fine, whatever. If you two want to waste our time looking at clothes far be it for me to stop you.”
Danny’s nose scrunched up while Tucker cheered.
“I’m thinking green.”
“Maybe think again,” Sam snorted.
“What about you then?”
She shook her head. “I’m not going so I don’t need one.”
Danny frowned. “If you don’t want to go…”
She shrugged. “Who’s going to take pictures of you guys trying on horrible suits if you go on your own? That’d be a wasted blackmail opportunity.”
They both glared at her.
~~~~~~~~~~B~~~~~0~~~~~0~~~~~~~~~~
“I’m home,” Danny called as he shut and locked the door.
“Hey, sweetie,” his mom said. She stepped out of the kitchen with a spatula in hand. “Dinner’s almost ready.”
He froze. “You, uh, made dinner?”
“Jazz said she was going to be late so I thought I’d take care of dinner for her. How was shopping?”
“Okay, I guess. Tucker found a suit he liked, but none of them really fit me right.”
She nodded and came over to kiss the top of his head. “We’ll take you to the tailor in a few days. What about Sam?”
“I thought I saw her eyeing this black and purple dress in the window of Edgy On Purpose, but she says she’s not going so she’s not getting a dress.”
“That’s a shame.”
He shrugged.
“You ate lunch, right?”
“Yes, Mom,” he said, rolling his eyes. “We got Nasty Burger on the way to Tucker’s.”
“That’s good. I meant to call after we got your message about school, but we lost the ghost kid and your father wanted to come back and try and boost the power of the Fenton Finder.”
“It’s fine.” He considered something as he adjusted his backpack, the thermos inside bumping against his back. “Hey, Mom, I was wondering… You know how you infuse your inventions with ectoplasm? Have you ever considered, you know, powering them with ectoplasm too?”
She laughed and ruffled his hair. “Of course, honey, but the amount of condensed ectoplasm we’d need…” she trailed off, her eyes widening. “Though, with the portal now active, it would be easier to collect pure ectoplasm. Maybe… Jack! JACK!”
Danny chuckled as his mom ran off, muttering calculations and yelling for his dad. He stepped into the kitchen and froze.
A small army of cooked shrimp glared at him.
“MOM! DINNER CAME ALIVE AGAIN!”
“Look Sam! I did it!” (children practicing magic in the swamp)
Guess who did a new AU!! I did! I call it the Naga!Danny AU cause I can’t think of another name rn
I’ll put all the details I got so far under the link (oh and also 3 extra images cause I was very exited and i draw more hehe)
Takes place in a world where magic is real and humans live in a medieval-victorian like era, mythos (mythological creatures) and some humans can wield magic, humans have more variety in what kind of magic they can use but mythos are more specialized and stronger in their kind of magic. Humans separated the mythos into two categories: Monsters (the dangerous ones or ones that are more likely to attack humans, like werewolves) and benigns (the ones that prefer to be left alone, like centaurs)
Maddie and Jack are monster hunters, this gained them some enemies, one of those enemies is a shadow, a monster without form that is known for their unbreakable curses. In one of their hunts they somehow anger the shadow and it wants revenge, seeing that it couldn't come close enough to the hunters it decides to curse one of the hunters offspring, they had been fool to drag their children to the hunt. the shadow attacked the closer to it but before it could activate the curse completely it was interrupted by the hunters, but it didn’t matter the curse would activate by itself in some time.
The 12 years old Danny Fenton was lucky the shadow didn't completed its curse, his parents were worried for weeks after the incident but at seeing that Danny hadn't changed at all they concluded that the shadow didn't make any curse and that it was only taunting them.
For 2 years Danny felt weird,sometimes he could swore that he had escams in his arms or that his teeth felt a little too sharp, but when he saw himself in the mirror he saw nothing in his reflex and continued with his life.
The Fentons lived in the town of Amity, the town was located near the lake Erie and the Ghoul swap (yes humans aren't very creative with names), the river that feed the lake came from the Frozen mountains in the Kre’k mountain range and continued towards the ocean with the swamp following it, More to the mountains side there was a thick forest where humans could hunt deers, rabbits and was abundant in fruit trees.
The Fenton’s house was separated from the town and was ubicated near the swamp, the volatile experiments of the adults made it clear to the townspeople that it was safest for everyone if their house was far away from the others (fires were a very dangerous thing and nobody would have let them live in the town for fear of one). Even if the Fentons were appreciated for their services they were way too extravagant to have too much respect in the town, not that the Fenton parents care for that.
Maddie and Jack were hunters and inventors, their house was oddly constructed, the main part of the house was constructed with the same bricks as all the houses in the town, though they later added another part in the roof and some other rooms at the sides, the rooms weren't the same size so that the house was very asymmetric and it gave it an odd look to the outsiders, even so Danny loved his house.
Danny, Sam and Tucker were best friends since very young, Tucker was an inventor, though he invented things to make his life easier, Sam was a magic user, she learns everything from her grandma, her favorite magic was the plant and healing kinds, though she knew a little of shadow and fire magic to use in self defense. Magic users were not well seen by the humans because of they could wield magic like the monsters (they conveniently forgot that benigns could do magic too… jerks), so if discovered magic users were treated lower than dirt and were usually enslaved.
Danny learned how to hunt from his parents but he is not interested in killing monsters, he is only willing to kill animal for food and really hates when the other hunters kill for sport (when they kill a deer just for the antlers and leave the body behind), though he is an excellent tracker, he can track any animal or human in land and even the turtles and crocodiles in the swamp, nobody knows how he does it but don't complain when they have turtle to eat. Sam doesn't like that innocent animals are killed but she understands it’s for food (if it was for her she would live of only plants and fruit, but it is not possible in that era)
When Danny reached his 14 bday he was alone in the swamp near his house with only Sam and Tucker as company, his parents had gone to a hunt and would be away for a few days, and his sister was in town teaching to read to the children. The three friends were in search for any fish in the traps that Tucker had built and when the sun was at its highest point danny felt a great pain and screamed, then he passed out.
When Danny woke up his face was in the mud and his legs felt funny, well his everything felt funny, Danny then tried to stand up but for some reason he couldn't and when he saw his “legs” he knew why, he had no legs anymore in its place there was a long muscled snake body covered with black escames, then Danny saw his hands and those were covered with white escames that went as far as his forearm and his fingernails were now small white claws.
Danny then saw his reflection in the dirty water, his hair changed from black to white and his ears were more pointy than before but the thing that was most shocking were his eyes, they were completely green with two vertical slits as pupils. Danny knew that he had transformed somehow into a naga for what his parents told him nagas were one of the most dangerous monsters, nobody knew what kind of magic they were stronger but everybody knew nagas were the most poisonous creatures, their bite was mortal and even their meat and blood wasn't safe to eat for any animal.
When Sam and Tucker called for his name Danny didn't knew what to do, they have seen his transformation and had waited until he woke up to ask him what just happened, Danny told them that he didn't knew and then they agreed to go to Danny's house because maybe his parents have some information in this. Sam and Tucker had to help danny (half dragging him) towards the house (danny doesn't know how to move his snake body yet)
That's how all starts, Danny is now a half monster and after Danny mastered his transformation from human to naga and vice Sam teaches danny some of her shadow magic (they were experimenting what kind of magic Danny can do) and Danny is very good at it, he uses shadows to hide himself, it works better in the night, (this AU version of invisibility) Danny doesn't tell his parents for fear that they will experiment in his naga form and then kill him.
After 2 weeks of Danny transformation monsters start to appear in the town and cause problems in there, Danny Sam and Tucker decided to stop the monsters from causing too much damage to their town and end up saving most of them from the Fenton parents, later Sam teaches Danny fire magic, then Danny can use green fire to attack the most violent monsters (version of ectoblasts)
They later decide that Danny’s naga form should have the name Serpent, it was way better that the name the humans started calling him after someone saw a shadow of him, they were calling him Snaeky (like snake and sneaky fused toegether), Danny hates that name
Because I didn’t want all ghost to be monsters in this AU I made a list (ok 2 lists)
Monsters
-Trollbox: this au version of the box ghost, he is a small troll that likes to do a mess everywhere he goes, mostly for attention, very weak and annoying
-Ember: she is a siren (humanoid creature, only merpeople have fish tails) her blue hair moves from her head like underwater, tho is so bright blue that some humans think is fire, she likes the attention of people when she sings, tho it has a little lure in it that made humans want to approach her and forget what they were doing
-Wulf: lone werewolf, he didn't like his previous pack’s ideology of eating humans and other mythos so he left them, bad side is that he’s hunted by humans, he makes Danny and his friends his new pack and then lives in the forest near Amity
-Nocturne: octopi (half human half octopus… like ursula in the little mermaid), lives in the ocean but like the octopus he can go to land if he wishes, he spacializes in mind magic, visits Amity one night out of curiosity, is neutral with Danny after the encounter
-Frostbite: he and his tribe are yetis (oh wow… shocking -_-... anyway) they live in the frozen mountain and is thanks to their magic over ice and snowstorms that the river that feeds Amity exists, Danny learns ice magic with them
-Pandora: arachni (half human half spider, it made sense with her four arms ok!) she is the queen of the Akr’us empire, they live underground in most of the Kre’k mountain range (that why the name) like canon danny become allies with them at returning a treasure that boxy stole
-Aragon and Dorathea: they are actually dragons that can speak human language, they have a kingdom (more like Aragon ate the king and stayed there as the new king), it’s full of humans but little or almost none mythos, the kingdom is in an islad near the beach where the swamp ends
-Vlad Masters/Plasmius: Vlad kew Maddie and Jack when they were young and he joined in their monster hunts too, in a incident similar at the one Danny had Vlad was cursed to be a half monster too, but he is half vampire so there isn't much he can offer to Danny to leave his father, only safety more information of magic that he could use and acceptance, tho Danny doesn't like his manipulative attitude and refuse. Vampires feed of blood (human or animal, no mythos cause magic does weird thing to their bodies) they have wings that hide them as a cape (yes he’s still the rich manipulative bastard that we all love)
-Vortex: weather spirit, likes to cause electric storms, Danny has to stop him before he creates fires in the town, after confrontation he is convinced to do his storms away from Amity.
-Undergrowth: forest spirit, after a big deforestation he awakes and wants revenge towards the humans, after confrontation he is asured that humans will not desforest more than they need, he then goes back to the forest (he will be busy reforesting)
-Poindexter: weak ghost looking for revenge in his abusers, after misunderstanding becomes friends with Danny
-Amorpho: shapeshifter, likes to prank people, neutral with Danny
-Observants: weird eyeballs with long thin tentacles, they live under the ocean and almost never leave it
-Clockwork: naga,especialized in time magic, (TUE happens as in canon changing some details), becomes teacher of Danny (fuck u vlad!) and kinda father figure
-Dan: mix of naga Danny and vampire Vlad (with the snake half, the wings and Vlad greenish skin), for his thirst of blood he had drank of humans and mythos, the magic in mythos blood make him insane and homicidal- stopped by Danny and erased from the timeline for Clockwork
-Spectra: leech of people's emotions, humanoid with wrinkled skin and pointy teeths she’s very manipulative, enemie of Danny and friends.
-bertrand: shapeshifter, follows Spectra like a puppy
-Cujo: shuck (big black ghostly dog that roams near the coast), he is feared for humans tho he is just a curious creature, becomes friend with Danny roams the swamp near his house, for some reason the Fenton parents never see him
-Hotep ra: mummy that cames to Amity thanks to merchants, wants to rebuild his lost kingdom, manipules Tucker like a puppet, enemie of Danny
-Klemper: ice spirit that is always looking for friends, tho he tends to freeze everything in his path, after becoming friend with Danny he roams the Frozen mountain with his new yeti friends
-Sojourn: air elemental, explorer, can wield lighting like whips to attack or defend himself, good friend with Clockwork and visits him sometimes, becomes a uncle figure to Danny, has way to many stories to share
Humans
-Skulker: monster hunter, wants danny cuase is very rare to even see a naga (duh), is in good terms with Vlad (tho he doesnt know about the half monster thing)
-Technus: inventor of skulker weapons, besides his best friend, extravagant like the Fentons but not interested in hunting
-Johnny and Kitty: horse riders, rebels, after confrontation they are friends with Danny (they adopted him as a little brother, yes they know about the naga thing when Danny tried to stop them for causing too much chaos)
-Walker: runs a prison, tho is very far from Amity, wants to imprison humans and mythos that go against the rules (his rules)
-Freakshow: slaves mythos for his cirqus (monsters and beings), Danny has to be saved by his friends
-Pharia Dark: enemy king, tries to invade the kingdom in where danny lives, Amity is his starting point in conquest, he uses magical artifacts of power created by some mages in his kingdom
-Fright knight: loyal knight (not really) of Pharia Dark, mounts a dark alicorn and has a magic sword, changes his loyalty towards the kingdom that defeated his king
-Desiree: magician slaved by some comerciants, Danny and friends free her and she becomes an allie, she hides in the swamp in a old abandoned house, Danny and friends bring her food and company, she teaches Danny and Sam what she knows of magic
-Dairy king: he is the king of the kingdom in which Amity is, good king doesnt have much enemies, prefers peace and daily products
-Ghost writer: he's known as writer, he teach the kids in the school, his favourite recreation is writing and reading
-Youngblood: little orphan that lives in amity, is friends with Danny since before the incident, they always put pranks in grown ups (probably will get adopted by Desiree)
-Lunch lady: ( have to give her a name!) the best cook of Amity, she’s the head chef in all parties and wants to feed the children, tho she can be scary if they refuse her food
That’s all I have so far, if you guys have any ideas or question u are free to ask (u can also ask in my main blog)
ok now the 3 pictures!!
Mianite Wilderness
Chapter: 3
Summary: After being left by Dianite, the storm passes and the heroes find themselves on another trek.
Haven’t read the other chapters?
Jordan peeked out of the pit from under the pelt when the storm let down a bit. Dianite hadn’t come back yet since before the blizzard started. “Anything?” I asked when Jordan sat back down.
“No,” he said, “Its been a long while, too, so he might’ve dug himself a hole to stay in during the storm.”
“Or he abandoned us,” Tucker said, his legs crossed and his back hunched a bit. We were all getting tired and who knows how long we’ve been up– none of us could sleep because of the storm and I knew no one would sleep in case something happened.
“He wouldn’t do that,” Sonja said, “you know he said something about wanting to actually help us.”
“Help us if we agree to save this place.”
“Honestly I feel like we have no choice,” I said, “I mean if we want to go back home.”
“That’s a good point,” Jordan agreed, “I have a feeling Dianite knows more about this than we think he does, especially if he knows that we aren’t from this world.”
We all talked to keep ourselves busy, but most of the conversation was about Dianite and whether or not he’d come back. Sooner or later I must’ve fallen asleep. I don’t even remember closing my eyes for a long time, I thought I blinked. Like I blinked and all of a sudden it’s the next day.
I had a feeling I fell asleep because I had jolted when a noise erupted from outside of the camp, like growling and hissing. A fight was going on outside between two animals. Two animals that don’t exactly sound friendly. I looked around and saw that everyone else was frozen in place, their faces plastered with fear while we fell silent and listened.
The more I listener the more I realized that not only It was literally right outside our camp but both animals are big and cat-like. The hissing and growling sounding almost like some mountain lion. I wouldn’t be surprised because we’re pretty close to the mountain itself, but too far for a mountain lion to actually try and hunt us. Let alone two of them. One of them sounded much larger and deadlier than the other, it’s growling and hissing almost like that of a much bigger lion but this one had a reptilian rumble to it almost like an alligator.
I quickly scrambled over to look out from under the tarp when it clicked on what was going on. I looked past the rubbish and saw something terrifying. I was correct about the mountain lion but what was scary was when I saw Dianite. He was crouched down on all fours, almost imitating the mountain lion as it swiped at him. What scared me about him was that he had almost completely changed. He looked larger. A lot larger. His eyes completely white like Mianite’s eyes back home and his bottom canines elongated and curled upwards like a bore’s. His shoulders more broad and the hair on his head sticking up on end like long needles and the plates on his back sticking up and ruffling like I had thought they would before. When they ruffled they made an annoying shuttering noise. I also noticed that indeed they made him look larger.
He stood up on his legs, seemingly tired of the mountain lion, breathed in and roared at it and shuttered his plates. The road is loud, ear piercing yet deep. The shuttering is also loud and annoying, this time in a more high pitch tone than before. My ears rang when he let up and I saw the big cat cower away. I noticed the way Dianite stood resembled that of a bear, he’s slightly squatted and his arms hanging to his sides.
“Dianite?” Tucker nearly shouted after peeking out from next to me.
I knew it had to be Dianite because of his red scales, his one beige horn, his dark burgundy hair, and the animal skins covering his body. He twisted around and I could see all the muscle movement in his body. I tried not to imagine what he could do to someone with just a hand. He dropped to his fours and stalked over to us, not at all sinking for his weight. He sniffed the air in front of us and huffed out before speaking, “You didn’t eat all the food, did you?”
I snorted and moved out of his way, Tucker had already sat back in his spot. And Jordan moved out of the way to make room for Dianite when he just slid in head first and took up most of the space between us. Tucker yelled when Dianite took the pot the stew was in and held it over him as he tipped his head and just drawn whatever was left. And there was still over half the pot left in there. We all just watched him as he drank the whole thing then set it down away from the fire.
“Sorry,” he grumbled tiredly, “hadn’t ate in a few days.”
“How long ago did the storm start?” Jordan asked, his voice mimicking the look of disbelief on his face.
“Two days ago,” he said. He sounded like he was questioning himself but then he spoke again, “the storm’s eye just passed over us, and if we leave now we can get to my camp. It’s more safe there.”
“We’re leaving this place, ” Tucker asked, “why?”
“Well for one it’s my camp and all my shit is there,” he shrugged, “and two it’s more safe– like I had said. It’s closer to the mountain and for some reason a lot of the storms pass the mountain with no problem. Plus the shelter I made is under some boulders and an uprooted tree, so that makes it even more safe.”
“We should pack up now then if it’s as safe as it sounds,” Sonja said, “we might be able to get there before the storm comes back.”
“The eye is most likely going to pass by come tomorrow evening,” Dianite said, “it certainly smells it.” None of us questioned how he could smell the storm because we knew he was just going to give us a look and some sarcastic answer, so we all shut up and packed up the camp. I gave Sparklez’s jacket back and Dianite let me use the pelt as another coat. He even promised me that he’d stitch me a nice, warm coat if he got the time.
So we headed off. Awkwardly shuffling through the forest that had been pelted with tons of snow in (apparently) two days. We followed Dianite who stayed in his big… I guess monster form. He stayed on his fours and trudged along, stalking like a tiger or bear. Every once in a while we would stop to check and reset traps he must’ve set up before the storm. Some of his traps were buried in two feet of snow, some of those that were buried happen to have frozen rabbits.
“So what will be doing after the storm?” Jordan asked when we started to walk again after Dianite reset the trap and put the rabbit in the bag around his waist.
“If you would like,” he said slowly, “you can cut open the tree bark in these pines and grab some fish bait for me. Because my camp is near a river and I’d like to grab more fish before they migrate again. Other than that, uh… I’m not sure.” He looked over his shoulder and at Jordan, “maybe we can share about each other’s worlds if you really are from another,” he turned his head back to look ahead of him again, “I don’t really have much to share, though.”
“How come?” I asked, I walked next to him and he was still so much taller than us and he was on his fours and not sinking In the snow. I just barely came up to his shoulder in height.
His ear twitched. “I have amnesia,” he answered simply. “I don’t entirely remember my childhood. I don’t even think I’m actually 518, I think I’m older than that. I don’t remember my family, my friends. Honestly–” he stopped walking– “honestly the only person I actually know is Mianite.”
“Really?” Tucker asked, stopping next to me.
“It might be because of my seething hatred for him.”
Dianite had walked over to one of the pines and showed Jordan what he had meant. He threw his fist at the frozen tree, breaking off the ice, then peeled off some of the tree bark and revealed… “worms?”
“Yes,” he said, “good fish bait.” He grabbed one of the small jars hung around his waist and opened it. He continued to pick some of the worms out of the tree and dropped them inside where they wriggled and writhed with the others that were in there already. He then handed the jar to Jordan. “That is your job. Don’t lose the jar or I’ll lose you.”
“Yessir,” he bowed his head and we continued to walk. I had chuckled at Dianite’s threat because honestly it seems like a light hearted threat but we all knew he would abandon us in this forest to die alone if we fuck something up. Maybe that wasn’t something to laugh at.
We made it out of the forest, Jordan catching up to us quickly and handing the jar to Dianite who took it and thanked him, then he wrapped it in the string around his waist and stood straight. “We seemed to have went a bit off trail,” he said while he looked around, “but in general we went the right way.”
“How can you tell,” Tucker asked, “because everything looks the same.”
“For one,” Dianite snorted, huffing through his nose a few times, “I can smell my camp over east. And two… I believe I mentioned that my camp is right at the bottom of the mountain–” he pointed at the mountain ahead– “that mountain.”
“Oh,” was all Tucker said before Dianite sulked ahead. His ears were raised in alert, worrying some of us. “What’s, uh, what’s up?”
“Shut up,” he snarled, “stay here, stay low I’ll be right back.” He then took of, definitely running like a bear through the snow.
“And here we go again, abandoned in the middle of nowhere,” Tucker sneered. “I bet the storm is going to come back before he does.”
“Don’t say that,” Sonja said, “he’s probably just checking the perimeter or something for that mountain lion from earlier.”
“Yeah, well…” Jordan said, looking at the sky, “i think we’re losing daylight.”
“Yeah, we are,” Tucker said. “I’m going ahead.”
“Whoa wait no,” I stopped him before he could go anywhere, “we were told specifically to stay here and if Dianite figures out you left he’ll literally hunt you down and tear you to shreds,” I warned.
“I’m sure I’d die of hypothermia before he has the guts to tear me apart.”
“Tucker, don’t go anywhere,” Sonja said softly, “you don’t know what’s out there. You can’t go without Dianite or you’ll die.”
“That’s why I’m going. I’m going up the mountain to see if he’s telling the truth,” he explained, “I’ll come back if I find anything.” He turned and ran before any of us could grab him.
“Tucker!” Sonja shouted and tried to follow him, only fall over in the snow. Jordan and I ran over to her to help her up. “We have to go after him,” she said.
Jordan and I exchanged glances. “I’m sorry, Sonja, we can’t risk having Dianite’s fist half way up our asses,” he said. I resisted a smile from his comment and nodded to show I agreed with him.
