The doctor is in such a hurry to get back to his pharmacy, he doesn't even notice there's a girl rounding the corner in front of him. He isn't outright running; that would be bad for his already poor health. But he is going fast enough that he fails to register her presence.

As a result, Baizhu winds up crashing into her, grunting in both surprise and from the impact itself as he sends both of them to the ground...with him on top.

"Great job, dingus," pipes up the white snack coiled loosely around his shoulders.

"Hush, Changsheng," he replies, before turning his concerned gaze to the poor girl he's now moving to get off of.

"My deepest apologies, madam. I wasn't paying attention. I didn't hurt you, did I?"

She was used to seeing a lot of foreigners come in and out of Liyue Harbor. It was practically normal but some of them were important guests that Lady Ningguang personally invited to the Jade Chamber. She's usually tasked with picking them up and taking them there and the rest is left to the other secretaries. Aside from that, she had paperwork piled up, so there was so much work to be done that it nearly exhausted her, but it was something she had to put up with every day. She approached the girl who was dressed in very fancy garments. Almost as if this person is a princess from a foreign country. Well, this might be the guest that Ningguang had mentioned to her to accommodate until they reached the chamber."You must be the princess Lady Ninggugang had spoken about. It's nice to meet you. My name is Ganyu. I am the general secretary of The Liyue Qixing. I am here to pick you up and take you to the Jade Chamber. Lady Ningguang is waiting for you."

Luka steps aside to let the other redhead into his apartment. It's small and not in the best shape, but it's warm and secluded, at least. He locks the door behind him once it's closed and turns to face her, smiling, but still concerned.

Nothing could disturb it, the silence blanketing the field. No wind to stir even a single blade of grass, no ripple of the water, no chirping of birds. Nothingness enveloped him. He, too, sat in perfect stillness in the grass. His breath faint, barely noticeable.

A moment without conflict. Precious time to think. Precious time simply to be. The old, dilapidated shrine behind him needed repairs, and as much as he wished to offer them, it would have to wait. For now, this forgotten place offered solace. It reminded him of the days past, when Himemiko-sama had helped keep the peace. When all was quiet and still, like in this moment.

Eyes closed, listening for any disturbance, Kenshin longed for the peace to truly be returned to his lands. But with Oda seeking power, it could not be so. Not yet.

Lost in his thoughts, he barely noticed the change in the atmosphere, a silent ripple of energy that trembled in the ground, in the trees, and in the air. Something had shifted, yet no matter where he looked, all seemed to be the same. Closing his eyes once more, he slowly drifted back into an almost meditative state…

Before the interruption hit.
