Found a piece of gold yesterday while transferring some raw files imageries. Many of my pictures are marked as good shots every night during my photo-journey. When I am back in Singapore after the trip, I would quickly process and out put those images that I have marked. And most of the time I already have hundreds of great imageries which were more than enough for me to make selection for publication. But I know there are still many good shot like this which I have missed out. And those images would still be sitting in my trip library. Coffee processing is one of the important step that would change the taste of the coffee beans. This is wash process, it make the coffee beans clam, even and clean and taste likewise. I love how the Ethiopian man and woman process the coffee bean. They sing as they process or picking the coffee. And boy, they sing beautifully and harmoniously. I like to think they make the coffee sweeter hahaha. We are looking at the Ethiopian traditional way of coffee making. The way how the raw coffee beans were being roasted on top of the metal plate. Continue to stir the beans to perfection with the right fire 🔥 Crash the roasted coffee beans and pour into the boiling water inside that black kettle on top of the fire. To boil it for a few minutes and when it is ready, transfer the coffee into the Ethiopia traditional coffee pot and ready to be serve. It is a cup of dark-thick coffee, pretty much closer to a cup of expresso. ☕️ Ethiopia 🇪🇹 coffee culture experience... I love it! It's has been a while since my last post on Instagram. So busy with my cafe work but making this trip gives a wonderful closer to my 2019. Are you able to tell where is she from? Hahaha I found her at the washing station in Guji, Ethiopia. She has an amazing face, eyes and smiles. She was actually chewing a coffee seed while helping the process of sorting the green beans. As I am writing this post, I am now still on the top of the coffee plantation above 2000 meters and amazingly there is wifi here. Smile that touch your heart.
