#theuntamededit #mdzsedit #mdzsnet #cqledit #cql #wei wuxian #lan wangji #jiang cheng #lan xichen #i'm not entirely happy with how these came out #but rendering takes AGES so one small mistake means an extra 15 mins of rendering and i wanted to cry #also i couldn't find a better scene for wei wuxian; i wanted to add significant character moments #for lan wangji i think it's the years of waiting; the years of longing; the years of searching for wwx by playing inquiry #(even if that's apparently not an established fact) #for jiang cheng i think it's his desire to have his home back; to have his siblings around him in a rebuilt lotus pier #and for lan xichen it's his deepest regret; having trusted the wrong person; his kindness abused #then for wei wuxian i really struggled! because he goes through so much #but though i wanted to use his signature red #that colour has such negative connotations and it didn't fit the relieved and unburdened smile of the scene i chose #so i went for the hilltop in green #which for me is his return; his wandering being over; his coming back to the one he loves #background notwithstanding these are still a bit grainy so sorry! #my edit
