The road to where you are now was not easy, by any means. Starting to date your now boyfriends was very rough at times, the both of them had trouble coming to terms with the fact that they liked each other and you. In the beginning, there wasn't any communication, Jay, being more emotional thought Cole hated him. Cole didn't exactly realize something was wrong at first, (he's a little dense.)

After a very long heart to heart, the beginning of the relationship was a bit awkward. Jay was raised in a very loving and open home, so affection towards the both of you came a lot easier than it did for Cole. Cole and Lou were never exactly close, and when Lilly passed away, it created an even bigger rift between them. It took Cole a bit, but he does become more open to giving and receiving affection.

Once you have settled into being with them their regular bullshit resumes! Sometimes you will sit in on their hobbies, you and Jay watching drooling over Cole working out, he legitimately looks like a Greek God. Or, you and Cole watching Jay tinker with his creations, he's so cute when his face is all scrunched up in concertation. <3 They like to watch you work too!! It doesn't matter what it is, you could be doing paperwork for all they care, they just want to take in everything about you.

Having two S/O's that are BOTH ninjas definitely makes you worry about every little thing, how it could go wrong, etc. But, on the other side of that coin, Jay and Cole often worry that a villain will hurt you to get to them. So all in all, everyone is worried about each other.

Cole and Jay will have you constantly laughing, the would kill to see you smile. Constantly cracking jokes, pulling pranks, and so much more!!! Anything for your beautiful laugh!

It was just another average day on The Destiney's Bounty, and by average, you meant Jay was pouting because Cole ate his cake! "The nerve! To think, my own boyfriend would steal MY cake! It had my name on it and everything!" Jay ranted. "I'm sorry, okay! I wasn't exactly looking for a name tag! I just saw cake and ate it!" Cole whined back. They be at it all day if I don't step in, you thought. "Cole you of all people should know food is sacred, and Jay, I'm completely sure that if Cole knew it was yours he wouldn't have eaten it. So just kiss and make up already." you said, trying to ease the tension.

Later that night, you and Jay had already settled into bed, Jay being fast asleep as soon as his head hit the pillow. But, you were still awake, waiting for Cole to join you both in bed. After 10-ish minutes, Cole still hadn't come to bed, Where is he? You thought as you slipped out of the covers, careful to not wake Jay.

As you walked down the hall, you noticed the kitchen light still on. Curious, you walked into Cole frosting a lopsided blue cake. "What're you doing hon?" You asked, rubbing the sleep from your eyes. "It's an apology, I didn't realize it was his cake, so I made him another one! No too shabby if I do say so myself." Cole responded. Eyes now adjusted to the light, you got a better look at the cake, the frosting was patchy, it was leaning to the left, and he even spelled 'sorry' wrong. In black letters at the top of the cake it said 'Sorrry Jay' 'sorry' having three r's in this instance. You took the frosting spatula from Cole wordlessly, and started to even the frosting. You didn't fix the 'sorry' though, you thought it was funny.

After placing the cake in the fridge, you and Cole went to bed. The next morning, you and Cole were still asleep when you heard a girlish scream come from the kitchen. Jolting up, and booking it to the kitchen, you burst into the unsightly scene before you. Jay on his knees, Cole's masterpiece of a cake strewn on the floor before him. One look at the scene had you and Cole howling in laughter. "Don't laugh! This is the second time I've lost a cake!" Jay cried. "We'll make another together, don't worry." you managed to get out between giggles. Jay soon joined in laughing with you both, because while he did lose his cake, he got to make another with the people he loves. <3

I'm not sick anymore and I couldn't be happier!!!! I have my cat to thank for nursing me back to health, he's my baby. :) Also, summer can be a time when people feel alone, so if you need someone to just talk to, my dm's are always open to everyone. Love you all <3

i first played botw on the wii seven years ago with my big brother when i was really young! at first..i hated it :V the wii sucked and it was SO STRESSFUL when the stal-monsters came and started attacking me! i even tried diving underwater but just got shot a ton,.. so i didn't play it for a year or so before i got it on the switch and absolutely fell in love with it. it was the most beautiful game i'd ever played, i could be a cute boy and run around naked plus I could ahve a horse. i named her milky and i didn't know i could register her so i left her outside of kakariko and she dissapeared. rip milky ;_;

so after about two years of aimlessly exploring hyrule i found some youtube videos during the pandemic. and it was all theories and cutscenes and one about a romance? and i, being a little fruit, saw te pretty girl on the thumbnail and was instantly hooked. because i was link and link was me, so i wanted to see how i could get a cool elf girlfriend (for perfectly straight reasons, of course -w-). so i was entranced with zelink, and princess zelda. i looked at fanart, i shipped until i realised....this was a boring ship and i didn't even like zelda too much, and i hadn't even watched any of the cutscenes yet.

so i watch aaalll the cutscenes, including a very special one, mipha's touch. cue little me squealing and kicking my legs because it's a mermaid and she heals and she's REALLY pretty. so i begin playing through botw's story in earnest. and i try to get to ruta- fail, and do vah medoh instead (and become obsessed with revali..dark days indeed).but now that i have revali's gale i can easily get to zora's domain and OMG! A SHARK PRINCE!!! AND HE'S MIPHA'S LITTLE BROTHER! SO SHE'S ALIVE!

but wait......why was he referring to her in past tense?

and then i see the statue and have a full link moment because i've played hours and hours just so i can see her and seh's dead????????????/ are you friken kidding me???????????????

i struggle through ruta, kill waterblight after many failed attempts and get the cutscene tm . and i'm shattered, but i've realised that this ship is canon af. mipha loved link and he's looking at her with such intensity. and..you know. i'm a young girl with too much time on my hands because of the pandemic. so i start learning to draw mipha so i can make art -w- and she really fuelled my love for art because she makes me happy okay!! 😭😭

after ages of becoming as OP as possible i get through the rest of botw and kill ganon like seven times and woah :0 who would have guessed---aoc comes rolling along. and the trailers have mipha!

and i love aoc and it just fuels my love for botw even more. so now i've completed all of the shrines and am working through the korok seeds =w=

as for other fandoms i'm in i'm a little active in the dunmeshi fandom, same with pjo and nier but it's really mostly just loz stuff atp because there's no way i'm letting mipha go after sixish years and her changing my brain chemistry ♡

Hi! Previous anon here! I just rechecked ur blog and i saw u replied to me and ajsjdnkdkdn im so honored u wanna know more abt my culture😭😭😭 but before i start rambling i just wanna say im apart of two chinese clans? Cultures? Idk how to say it but i googled it and its called a province so province it is! My mom is fu jian and my dad is fu jian AND ke jia, but since my grandma's(ke jia) influence is so strong and most of my grandpa's(fu jian) relatives are 💀 i actually have an equal share of both cultures. By that i mean like, two different languages, which are thankfully just spoken, not written, and also lots of different food and pronunciations! For example, instead of hongbao, i say angbao.

Okay, so! I think one of the most prominent things i've grown up with is like, nicknames. And one thing i see is so common in tgcf fanfictions is the "A". Like: A-lian, A-qing, A-xin. Which okay, its actually used but its actually very uncommon(at least where i've grown up). Only person that uses it is my family is like, my grandpa and its to ny grandma. My grandma calls him BY NAME its actually crazy. We tend to use more double names? Idk how to say it but for example Mu Qing would be Qing Qing, Shi Qingxuan would be Xuan Xuan yk? My parents only call me by that, but the purpose of the nick names would be to mostly shorten the names becus most ppl have 3 character names. So unfortunately someone like Xie Lian(who has a 2 character name) would be refered to mostly as Xie Lian and not A-Lian or lian lian😭 And! The "A" prefix isn't only used from the last character! Sqx can also be refered to as A-qing as well as A-xuan, as well as A-qingxuan(its complicated)

For family stuff, younger siblings usually never refer to older ones by name. Like sqx would call swd ge ge, wu du ge, du gege but never outright Wudu.

And i also found out u wrote cheap villain??? I owe everything to you its so WELL WRITTEN?? AND THE PLOT?? ITS SO GOOD KIKE KSJDJD BUTTtttt one thing i've actually wondered is like accents. Like in english, ppl who speak mandarin tend to have accents! And ppl in BeiJing have a very prominent one. First time i tried talking to someone in BeiJing i had trouble understanding cus even tho we were speaking the same language it sounded so different! The tcgf donghua actually sounds a lot more similar to tawainese than like native mandarin cus it sounds so clean cut, if ykwim??? Like the pronunciation in the donghua is GOODDD and so SHARP(i may be jealous). BeiJing mandarin tends to sound more round and so I would've liked to see like, mu qing waking up in a whole new reality, starts speaking, and xie lian is like: "huh? What? Mu qing, SLOW DOWN WHAT ARE YOU SAYING!?" I think it would've been funny, in my opinion😭😭 (do i sound fussy again i hope this comes off as light hearted😭)

I'm from England and South Africa, so both my cultures are very modern western (living in the UK doesn't help) so I'm utterly at a loss with Chinese culture aside from deep-diving on the internet and doing my own research lol :')

The nickname thing is very interesting and i didn't know that!! tysm for telling me :D I know I've used it quite a bit in Cheap Villain but i feel I'm too far in to switch it up now TTvTT I don't want to seem like I'm abruptly changing things, and making the story inconsistent!

Some notes: takes place during the first Halloween event / reader presumably a student visiting from off campus (presumably a little older or the same age as Yuu, the age reference is important)

No clue how to describe it but POV u run into Yuu at NRC (not an x reader but does have the vibes)

You looked at the map on hand, a frown beginning to tug at your lips. You'd followed the crowd into NRC, yet somehow despite it all, you had gotten lost. It was truly a miracle, you mused bitterly, trying to make sense of the map before you.

You wondered how you'd missed all of the arrows—assuming that there would've been arrows—but perhaps you'd just been spacing out. Either way, figuring out how you got lost would not help your situation. You need to find your way back and...well, it all starts with a step, you supposed.

Taking a step forward had ended tragically, as you had immediately tripped upon a rock, feeling yourself tumble over, your body frozen in shock. You squeezed your eyes shut—you could not react quickly enough to pull yourself up.

Luckily for you, a pair of hands had grabbed onto your shoulders firmly, preventing your fall. You paused, opening your eyes to see black fabric obscuring your vision. You blinked once. Twice. Curious. This was certainly not what the floor looked like.

A soft spoken, but cool voice reached your ears, and you had half a mind to process that the voice had come from the young man that was currently holding you in his arms, "Are you okay?" He set you upright, his eyes scanning over you as he settled for a form of address, "...Onee-san/Onii-san(idk take ur pick)."

"Uh..." For a second, you found it rather difficult to speak. After all, this guy...wasn't he unnaturally good looking? Did this school raise mages or flowers...either ways, you cleared your throat. "...Yeah. I'm fine, thanks for catching me."

He nodded, his expression as nonchalant as ever although you swore that there was a little relief in his eyes. "But besides from that," You awkwardly spoke up again, "I'm actually kinda lost, so if you could point me in the right direction then..."

"I figured." The young man's words could be interpreted in bad faith, you were sure. In any other situation, perhaps you would be a little more peeved by how tactless his words seemed, but with how blank faced he was, you could only assume he were being honest.

"You were alone and this isn't a stamp area so..." He shrugged, offering an arm, "I can escort you back, if you want."

You weren't the type to casually cling onto a stranger's arm, but also he was hot so of course you agreed.

The walk to the stamp area was shorter than you'd expected. The mysterious young man had ceased to speak afterwards, merely quietly escorting you to where you needed to go. He wasn't much of a talker, you assumed.

Soon, you could see the bright lights from the distance, hear the chattering of the crowd. You glanced over to him, wondering if you should speak up first or if he would.

As it turns out, he did.

He paused in his step, turning to look at you before gesturing to the crowd, "We've reached the stamp area."

Nothing more, nothing less to be said, huh.

You hastily let go of his arm, nodding, "Thanks for taking me this far, umm..." You wondered if it would be okay to ask for his name. It was unlikely you'd meet him again anyways, but somehow you felt as though it would bother you for quite a while if you had no name to put to his face.

"You're welcome." Noticing your hesitation, he hummed softly, "...Yuu. My name is Yuu." He reached into his pocket, digging around for something. "May I have your hand for a moment?"

So his name was Yuu.

Curiously, you extended your hand, only to watch in surprise as he slipped a piece of candy into your palm.

"Just a little compensation for when you got lost." He gave you a small smile, "Well then...I hope you have fun today."

And just like that, he had left you to stare as he walked away.

hi on one of ur reblogs u said u use a private server on discord and i wanted to ask how u organize it?? i have my own as well but i think i have no idea how to really use it to take full advantage :/ any tips?

Sure! Short answer: I make a new channel for each subject I want to keep organized.

Okay, some more detail. You start off with general channel when you make a server, so that's where I put things like my daughter's school schedule and my word totals when I'm keeping track for year end roundups. I have a few recipes in there too, so I can see them wherever I am and don't have to carry a cookbook with me (long distance relationships have interesting logistics, lol). But I also have channels for NaNo, links to interesting stuff or playlists, pics, fic ideas, separate ones for headcannons and snippets (this is where notes to myself go). My active OC's all have their own channel too, where I can keep anything referring to them in one place. Ideas, screenshots, general stats, any fanart I might receive, that sort of thing. I even have one for jotting down gift ideas for friends and family so I don't have to remember what people ask for.

Basically, I think of each channel as like a file folder. Everything related to the name of the 'folder' gets put there. I generally pin the first thing in the channel so I can get to the top really quick instead of having to scroll through it. I've had my private server for years now, so some of the channels are pretty full. I'll pin the items that I know I'll be referring to later too (for instance, the names of the people in the DAFF crew list for tagging in reblogs). I keep the channel names simple so I don't get confused by my own organizing system. I've never bothered to break up the channels by subcategory like you see in big servers, since I'm the only one using them.

Now, all this said, I'm primarily a desktop user. I honestly don't know how hard it is to do all this on mobile, since I rarely actually use it on my phone unless I'm sending myself a note or am in a voice chat. But I hope this helps, or at least gives you some ideas of where to start. Thanks for the ask. Happy organizing!

Okay euhm..buckle up!! It's like a 50/50 for whether this turns into a really really long tangent or not..I suppose whether the finished post has a read more bar will be telling XD

I kinda interchangeably refer to my S/I as me, so throughout this post I switch back and forth between first perspective of saying "I" and the third perspective of saying "Kane". Hope it's not too confusing😅

Hi, future Kane here, this gets quite lengthy and paragraph-y, so I sectioned the post with bold headers of sorts, to hopefully make it a little more clear and less overwhelming.

Really though, regaurdless of if you read this all or not, cause it's certainly a lot, thank you for asking such a question! I deeply appreciate it and am thankful for it, felt great to be able to share this and get this all out of my system.

So, I kinda mentioned this when going over that ask game, and a longg while ago I every now and then bring it up, but!! Technically, it's just one self insert with multiple AUs. My self insert is always basically just..me, except with a different job, and occasionally slightly more stamina/talent(typically fighting talent or such, funnily enough) for running and.. things and climatic things!! I typically refer to my self insert just as, well, me! I'll say I did blah blah with whatver F/O, and only really change it up for the sake of clarity(like this post) or sometimes when writing fics I'll do it from a 3rd person POV so I'll refer to my own name and such instead of it being written from my perspective.

As mentioned before, the role my self insert plays changes depending on who I'm currently imagining myself with. Typically either as a spy(or reformed spy, in the story with A.xlerod, Kane actually quits being a spy as a big gesture to basically be like "I don't actually want to hurt you", since Kane was given the job as a spy to..."put an end" to A.xlerod, to put it lightly), or will be a pitcrew member to one of the racers. The only one who I don't have a clear backstory role is with F.rancesco, but that's mostly because it's not really a necessary/needed part of the plot that I have with him.

Basically, whenever I imagine me with my F/Os, I typically imagine it as a one on one thing, where it's just me and them and kinda ignore the other characters that I have relationships with. The only exception to this is with Grem and Acer, who are a packaged deal, and I headcannon them to be together, so it's like a little triad thing.

--My S/I's Roles--

But most of my stories with my F/Os don't actually really follow the plot line of the movies at all, it typically takes on a much more day-to-day or domestic sort of perspective(my weakness for domestic things is showing). The only one where it follows a narrative of the actual movie is with L.ightning, where I'm a pitcrew member for him(really the only one, since I got there in his rookie days and he kept firing everyone so his only team member was really just Mack), and end up getting lost with him on the way to R.adiator Springs, and the whole plot with him is really just a looser version of the original C.ars movie, with some alternate twists and plot points and endings.

I've also mentioned this before, but technically my story with each F/O can actually be chronologically put together like some big G.ame/F.ilm Theory thing, where it goes from me having this job and meeting [x] and then getting other job, and it goes from there.

--Meeting Them--

For my insert with other racers, it's typically from the perspective of them just doing..their usual racing thing. Like with F.rancesco, he's just doing his usual typical F.1 races and Kane meets him through that. My self inserts role here though is typically a more laid back one, usually as a fan or maybe someone that got hired to take photography/recordings for the race or such(typically as an eager F.1 fan, with F.rancesco being one of his favorite racers), but the backstory for my S/I doesn't matter so much with F.rancesco.

For C.ars 3 characters though like C.al and J.ackson, it's in a scenerio where none of them end up getting replaced/fired/etc. And they just all end up racing together, basically the start of the C.ars 3 movie in a sense, except C.ruz is also included in the mix. Though, instead of my self insert being a pitcrew member for L.ightning, he's actually one for C.ruz instead.

--Meeting Finn--

With A.xlerod, Kane starts out as a spy and is hired to investigate and maybe put an end to A.xlerod for good. After getting caught snooping around and trying to flee just to get the daylights knocked out of him by essentially some gaurd, A.xlerod takes some sense of strange pitty on Kane and ends up dragging Kane back to his place and tries to fix him up. There's a lot of trust building that ends up happening and them oddly having some soft spot for each other(which ends up getting demonstrated several times, typically through them accommodating or protecting each other out of the blue), and since Kane most certainly isn't going to continue his mission of ending A.xlerod, he quits his job as a spy(which, Kane working for a rather questionable spy company, has to go on a slightly elaborate event to fake his own death and get some non-spy affiliated clothes). Kane ends up realizing how cozy he's gotten to just staying at A.xlerod's place, considering he never really left it when A.xelrod dragged him back to fix him up, and just..never leaves so he kinda moves himself in to living with A.xelrod. A.xlerod, being a billionaire that he is, Kane doesn't really ever need to get another job or anything.

Finn and A.xlerod by far have the most complex stories of how my self insert meets them, and the most thorough and thought out ones, cause I typically imagine them a lot more and such. With Finn, my insert is also a spy, and ends up getting to work with him and L.eland, and meets them on a rather dubious sort of mission, where Kane has to get rather close to Finn quite quickly(in a personal sense and in a physical sense, they have to do some cheeky ballroom dance((a waltz ,really)) together for a split minute), and when they start to come to an end of completing their mission, Kane kinda has a bit of a crisis of "This is probably the greatest time I've had in my life and I'm probably never going to see them ever again" and Leland catches him looking a bit broken and so sad and torn up that Kane confesses his whole predicament and Leland is like "You moron, just give me your phone number". And Leland, being the witness that he was to the very clear feelings between his best friend(Finn) and a potienal very close friend(Kane), he offers to Kane to tag along with him some time when he visits Finn, and at some point Kane ends up staying at Finn's place for a night and is over there so much that it turns into a question of "do I really even need a house. Why am I paying rent for some other house if I practically already live here and eat all his food".

--Meeting A.xlerod--

In both scenerios with Finn and A.xlerod though, Kane, an American sent from the US over to the UK for a mission, ends up moving and staying in the UK permanently.

--G.rem and A.cer--

How I meet G.rem and A.cer is a lot more of a shits-and-giggles thing, I actually have no clue how I came up with the idea because it is so silly and completely irrelevant to what they do, but also feels really oddly fitting for them. But basically Kane is working some low end job like as a grocery clerk or such, and since he works the closing shifts, he ends up stopping by some shop that was the only nearby one open at such a late night so he can get some food. It's some pizza parlor that G.rem and A.cer work at, and for whatever reasons they're the only ones that really work there(maybe they're the only two that work the closing shift as well, I haven't put too much thought into why yet), and Kane basically makes it a routine that every time he gets off of work he swings by their shop and pretends he's only coming in for food when it's really to hang out with them. G.rem and A.cer are still as wild as they are in the movie, they're just not really in many positions now for it to be shown that they'd kill and go to extreme ends for things. It eventually reaches the point where they start hanging outside of their usual routine and such.

feeling really :/ today. there’s a kmg centric account on here that uses very intense themes of ddlg in their work and i just.. i’ve sent them a few asks to explain why it’s harmful and they ignore them all. i don’t know what to do…. i think the arguments i made were valid. i understand it’s all in preference. a daddy kink here and a ‘my cute little princess’ there is all fine. but having phrases like ‘kid’ and ‘dad’ and ‘im ur real dad’ is just so.. especially using svt’s name to do that? even saying MDNI will not ensure minors don’t make priv accounts or lie about their ages or ghost read. and romanticizing tropes that are harmful could lead to young readers never realizing the dangers around them if they are in situations where someone is taking advantage of them.

first of all your feelings are valid, and i hope you know that. idk what blog you’re referring to so i can’t say whether or not the content is outright pedophilic or incestual. (but yeah those phrases are a little… 😬)

tbh ddlg isn’t for everyone since (from what i understand) it’s more of an intense type of role play/lifestyle that involves age regression and being entirely submissive to the dom. that type of content isn’t for a lot of people, and that’s okay.

regarding to the asks you sent being ignored, every content creator has the right not to respond to asks no matter it’s contents whether polite or rude. in a way i understand where this person’s coming from. when i wrote spoiled, i got some not so nice asks because of the content of the fic which i ignored. some of the asks weren’t rude but still not something i wanted on my blog. even now a lot of people won’t read my content because of that series, and that’s fine.

of course saying/writing minors do not interact on any smut post is not a guarantee that they won’t read it. BUT as content creators, we can only do so much. we’re not parents to the people who read our stuff, and it’s not our responsibility to teach people wrong from right. i’m not for romanticizing harmful content, and i can’t say whether or not that’s what this person is doing. even so, we can’t expect content creators to be responsible for a reader’s perception of reality or making them aware of the dangers of this world. it’s just not realistic or fair.

and i don’t think you’re overreacting. as i said before, your feelings and thoughts are valid. as a carat, i understand that you feel upset about svt being used for this type of content.

finally, i don’t think it’s fair to say that about caratblr as a whole. we can’t police or kink shame someone just for using a group they love as a creative outlet. there’s nothing wrong with writing about certain kinks or even darker content as long as it’s about adults. fanfiction is just that: fiction. it’s part of what we (cc) do because we love our idols and we love writing. caratblr is meant to be a fun and safe space for all carats, and having everyone go after someone would just destroy that purpose.

tutorial under the cut!

okay so!!!

i'm gonna explain it in as much detail as possible so anyone can try and follow it! (also maybe this isn't the easiest way to do it but this is just how i did it)

the cursor

for the cursor i used keyframes! everything i know abt that i learned from this tutorial (feel free to follow my sideblog @dreamyslibrary where i store my giffing resources) but since that is abt panning entire gifs i'll explain anyways

so u're gonna get a little cursor picture and place it on ur gif wherever u want ur starting point to be. then u move the playhead (the blue thingy on the timeline. i didn't know what it was called either until 30 seconds ago) to wherever in the gif u want to start ur motion

when u click on the little arrow to the left of the name of the group u get this. once u've positioned ur playhead where u want ur motion starting point to be u'll click on the little stopwatch next to transform

now u have an active keyframe. which just means that it has saved the cursor's current position as the starting point. then u can move the playhead to the point where u want ur motion to be done, then u'll move ur object (in my case the cursor) to its end point in the gif. photoshop will automatically create a second keyframe for the end point.

u can move the keyframes around on the timeline to adjust if u want!

important note: photoshop won't follow the movement u do, it'll save the starting point and the end point and move ur object between them in a straight line in the time frame between the two keyframes. from what i've gathered at least

so this is what i ended up with in my gif:

the first movement goes up to arm, then there's a pause and then the second movement goes down to macau and pause again!

now!

the highlighting

so behind all the small gifs is a white rectangle (no stroke, fill 15%) lined up with the top of the gifs and longer so it peeks out at the bottom. for everyone except arm and macau i added an outer glow to the rectangles here are my settings for that:

now for arm and macau i did this:

going from the bottom the first layer is a white rectangle like i described before but without an outer glow. the second one is another rectangle with the fill on 0% and an outer glow with a fadeout that starts once the cursor touches macau

transition effects like fade-ins and -outs can be found at the little square next to the scissors. i would show a screenshot of that little screen but it won't let me. u click on ur effect and then drag it onto ur object on the timeline. a fade at the beginning is a fade-in, at the end it's a fade-out. u can adjust the length of the effect when u click on it and then just drag it around like u would with any other object

the third layer is the same as the second one but with a white outer glow:

this is what i looks like for arm:

so there is a black outer glow which then fades out while the white outer glow fades in, as the cursor moves off it fades out again and the black outer glow fades in again

could you just fade the white outer glow in and out over the black one? maybe but i didn't do that

A questio, do you know the self aware twisted wonderland AU? It's a very interesting AU. You should see the one shots made for the AU although they don't write in detail as much but their ideas for said AU is very interesting, nowadays most of the things being posted about the AU is all about writing letters to your favorite characters instead of one shots so that's why I was hoping you could give me a few recommendations:)

ohhhh i think i understand better now yes. and yes, i know about the self-aware AU! it was popular in the mysmes fandom too haha, it's a fun au for any game. i think a couple of writers have done their take on it so i don't really know who you're referring to or who did it first haha

1. cementality - for obvious reasons. i've named myself after this song on liek every platform. and this song is so fucking sad. like it's talking about suicide and having worms in your brain basically and it's so somber and i love it i eat it up.

2. the locomotive - i don't have a super. real reason for this being #2 it's just my absolute fav off of the ooz. i interpret it as being scared of change and like taking that step onto the metaphorical train of life

so basically I was wondering do u have any tips on can someone know for sure if they have alters or if it is regular fluctuating singlet identity or personas/ocs/etc? what does an unstable or fluctuating singlet identity look like compared to a system switching through alters? when u only know two possible alters how can one know more when no communication method has worked? and is it normal for one alter to stay at the front for a long time and just not think about whose fronting and such and still be a system? how did u figure it out if u are okay with sharing..when is it ok to say ur a system even if u researched for years? does having multiple names that seem to have different personalities/aesthetics/people that look different attached to them and u use them based on who u feel like mean u have alters or do singlets who use multiple names also get that? maybe u feel like one name for a week use that then change it bc u feel like a different name… also do u have to have dissociation all the time to have it? can dissociation also include numbness/changing of emotions? can memory loss/amnesia look like feeling like the days before u were a dark void and u can’t remember everything or the months and weeks before except for some big things maybe but when u do switch u arent like at a loss for what u were doing before u switched alters also how can u tell if u are FixtionKin or have a fictive especially when that kin came about at a traumatic time and u felt 100% like the character.

let me try to answer these like one at a time and break it down. let me start by saying every system experiences things differently! no two systems are exactly alike in their experiences

also im going to answer these from the basis of DID and OSDD. i don’t know enough about endogenic systems to speak on their behalf

(also small note, it’s preferred by many systems to say “my headmate” rather than “my alter” and similar things. saying “my alter” implies that you own your headmates, but they’re their own individuals!)

first question: given that DID/OSDD develops with the purpose of the host not knowing about it, it’ll be hard to realize why you behave in certain ways. it’s entirely possible that your identity is fluctuating and that could cause some behavior differences, but it is also possible that another alter is fronting (i can think of many instances in high school where i behaved in a strange way and just thought i was blending in with classmates but it’s possible someone else was fronting)

i can’t really give a cut and dry answer on how to tell the difference between a fluctuating identity and alters switching out, but maybe during moments where you feel that sort of shift in demeanor, you could do some introspection? hope this helps!

question two: i also struggle with system communication, i can only think of a few instances where i was able to hear what my headmates were saying and it was because of the sheer number of voices overlapping one another. i wish i knew how to help with communication, but if you’re patient, im sure your other headmates will introduce themselves when they’re ready!

question three: this is absolutely possible! plenty of systems have “quiet moments”, and im actually having one right now! i think a lot of people refer to it as being “front stuck” and it happens to not only hosts but other alters!

question four: i figured it out years ago and it’s kind of a blur, but my headmate abbie introduced herself and started talking on my tumblr main. i can’t remember if i started researching systems before or after that, but either way that kinda cinched it for me haha

question five: if you’ve done a lot of research and have an understanding of what it means to be a system, self diagnosis is more than valid! don’t let anyone tell you you can’t self diagnose if you’re educated on the topic

question six: that’s a toughie ngl. i use multiple names and have a unique connection to each of them and i guess it’s entirely possible that at least some of them could be due to headmates’ names that i don’t know about. that’s a hard one to answer! haha

question seven: dissociation is a requirement to have DID and OSDD but i don’t think you have to be in a constantly dissociated state. the amount of dissociation can definitely fluctuate. and dissociation definitely causes numbness when it reaches a certain level, at least for me! as for emotions, i feel kinda… blank when im really dissociated. like a clean slate i guess?

question eight: memory loss is the dividing point between DID and OSDD. if your amnesia is a complete blackout where you can’t remember anything during certain periods of time, that’s DID. if your amnesia feels more like… blurry snippets of memory that you can kinda recall but not in full clarity, that’s OSDD

question nine: you can be fictionkin and have a fictive headmate! im a virgil sanders fictionkin and there are quite a few virgil fictives in the system! it may be hard to differentiate between kinshifts and fictives fronting at times (been there) but both experiences are valid regardless!!
