For a Bengali there is no love greater than the love of Posto (and of course the list goes on and on....). This delicious recipe is very special to me because the first time Debarshi prepared it was after we had baby Prisha. Life changes when you are a parent and it changes for good. For all the ups and downs, smiles and tears, hugs and tantrums, I thank God everyday for blessing me with Prisha. So this recipe is for all the mamas and daughters. Would you like to give this recipe a try? It goes very well with Rice and Dal. Ingredients: Potatoes – 2-3 large, peeled, cut into medium size cubes and washed Jhinge (Ridge Gourd) – 5 large, peeled and cut into thick pieces Poppy Seeds – 2-3 tablespoons Green Chilies – 2, slit in halves Mustard Oil – 2 tablespoons Kalonji (Nigella seeds) – ½ teaspoon Turmeric Powder – ½ teaspoon Salt - to taste (about ½ teaspoon) To find the complete recipe, click on my instagram story and click on the link.
