He is mine
You and Arthur were attending his boss's party that he had held. Arthur had his arm around your waist, he knew you didn't like going out socialising nor did he. You both were close throughout the whole event...until Arthur's boss's wife comes along. She was rather young...around the same age as you. Arthur's boss was in his early 50s. She had blond long hair and sharp green eyes, she literally looked like a barbie doll.
"Hi" she smiled as she walked over to Arthur
"Oh hello" he said
"I've heard a lot about you, my husband says that your his favourite" she smirked
Arthur just blushed and responded back
"I didn't know"
"You should, you should be proud" she smiled as she wandered off, before she wandered off her hand gently swifter past Arthur's shoulder. I clutched into Arthur's hand.
"Bitch" I mumbled
"Y/n" Arthur gasped
I looked over to Arthur and began wiping off her invisible germs on his shoulder; she shouldn't have touched him.
"Who is she to touch you" I said
"I don't know she can't, but you can" he smirked as he ran his hands down my waist.
I giggled as I kissed Arthur gently on his forehead.
As soon as the party was over I knew that Arthur had work tomorrow and that bitch was going to be there. I cuddled up next to Arthur as he was slowly drifting off to sleep. I awoke at 4am and felt heavy on my chest and woke Arthur up.
"What y/n?" He groaned
"Do you love me?" I asked
"Baby don't be silly I love you a lot now go to sleep" he groaned as his voice slowly decreased
I cuddle next to Arthur feel asleep.
The next morning I awoke to find Arthur not here; I knew he was at work. I quickly dressed up and bought him his favourite food as an excuse just to see what's going on. Now I'm not doubting him no...it's just her! I arrived at his work place and walked into the room where the workers were getting ready;
"Have you seen Arthur?" I asked Gary
"Yeah he was called in the office by Rachel" he said
"Rachel who?"
"Rachel, our boss's wife"
I was shocked, I looked down trying to not make it so obvious
"Oh thanks" I said as I went to the office, I stood outside the office to see if I could listen.
"Arthur it was nice speaking to you"
"Thank you"
My ear was held against the door until the door opened causing me to lightly fall onto Arthur's chest.
"Hey y/n what are you doing here?" He giggled as he held me up
"Oh I wanted to surprise you" I lied as I held the food up
"More like you were ears dropping?" Rachel asked
Arthur frowned
"No no" I said
"Y/n wouldn't do that, she's not like that" Arthur told Rachel
"If you say so" Rachel smirked as she closed her office door
Arthur looked at me and thanked me for brining him food; we both decided to walk home since he's shift times have changed for some odd reason.
We were walking home;
"Y/n can I ask you something?" Arthur asked
"Sure"
He stopped and looked at me
"Were you really ears dropping?" Arthur asked I could see he was hurt; he thought I didn't trust him
"No I wasn't" I shook my head
"Okay" Arthur replied as we continued walking on
As soon as we entered our apartment; Arthur threw himself on the coach. I walked over and picked up his work schedule
"How comes she changed your schedule?" I asked
Arthur came me a confused look
"She's taking over for a couple of weeks because our boss is not well"
"So she's given you extra night shifts" I asked as my voice grew more annoyed
Arthur knew what was going on in my head; he shook his in disbelief.
"What are you trying to say y/n?"
"Don't you see! She's trying to take you away from me Arthur!" I explained
"Oh please y/n I've never heard anything so childish" Arthur said as he walked off upstairs
"It's not childish it's the truth!"
"Y/n no one can take me away from me okay" he said as he came closer and held me by my shoulders
"I love you a lot" he said as he looked into my eyes
"I love you too Arthur I'm just so scared I don't want anyone to take you away" I said as I hugged him tight
"No one will" he said as he kissed me
-
The next few weeks have been so annoying and confusing. Arthur has been coming home extremely late, I sat there waiting for him.
"Princess I'm home!" He yelled as he barged in slamming the door shut
One day that door will break...
Arthur stumbled and fell
I gasped and ran towards him
I lightly held him up and placed him onto the sofa.
I filled a glass with milk and sat next to him
"Arthur" I said as I placed the glass of milk on the table
"Y/n you're so beautiful" he smiled as he attacked his lips onto mine, I lightly pulled away.
"Y/n guess what this party just happened" he slurred
I wasn't paying much attention to what he was saying
"Then Rachel hired these women like these strippers" when I heard that I looked back at Arthur
I checked around his collar and neck to see any lipstick stains or anything.
"Arthur did you?" I asked as tears rolled down my face
"Oh no they were all looking hideous" he said
"I wanna see you with one of those stripper outfits on" he smirked
"Drink this" I said as I placed the glass of milk to his lips; once Arthur was done drinking the milk he slowly dozed off
-
Since Arthur was with me during the day; I decided to go shopping early in the morning so I could spend time with him. As I was shopping around I noticed Rachel there.
I groaned and walked past her until she stopped me by calling my name out
"Hey y/n"
"Hi" I said
"Sorry about last night" she smirked
"What?"
"Didn't Arthur tell you?" She asked
"Tell me what?"
She kissed her teeth and sighed
"Me and Arthur we accidentally...we made out" she explained
I was speechless
"No you're just messing around with me"
"No y/n I'm serious"
I frowned
"Arthur kissed me on my lips and if you don't believe me then what's this?" She explained as she showed me a hickey in her neck
"He said the others strippers were hideous and that I was the only beautiful one there" she smirked
I tried not to cry and walked away
As soon as I got home I stormed in, Arthur heard me cursing around.
"Y/n what's wrong?" Arthur asked as he placed his hand around my waist
I pushed Arthur back
"Don't fucking touch me!" I yelled
Arthur was confused
"Y/n? What are you saying?" Arthur asked as he came closer but I keep backing away
"Don't come near me either"
"What are you doing?"
"You kissed Rachel and you didn't even fucking tell me?" I cried
Arthur frowned and ran his hand through his hair and closed his eyes in frustration
"Y/n I don't know who told you this but that's not true"
"Rachel told me!"
"Rachel said that?" Arthur asked
"Yeah" I cried
Arthur was really confused
"Y/n I promise you she's lying I would never kiss her I only love you" he explained as he came closer
I stopped him
"Arthur just leave" I said
"But y/n please it's not true"
"Arthur!" I cried
"I don't want to see you ever again!" I said as I walked past him, I left the apartment and decided to go to the park to clear my mind.
-
After a few hours I came home to find Arthur gone...I went upstairs to our bedroom and he was gone, his stuff wasn't there, his clothes weren't there.
He was really gone...I began sobbing
-
Gary called me and explained something unusual to me
"Hello y/n"
"Hi Gary"
"Is arthur around?"
"I-don't know"
"What do you mean?"
"I broke up with him" I sniffled
"Oh no! Y/n why?"
"Because Gary he cheated on me"
"No he didn't y/n; I tried calling you today but I didn't have the chance too but Rachel is lying"
"What?"
"I was at the party too last night but I wasn't drunk, I can tell you for sure that Arthur did not kiss or touch or get anything done by anyone that night"
"Oh"
"Randall kissed Rachel and Rachel decided to blame that on Arthur because it's obvious she likes the guy"
I felt so fucking stupid!
"I needed to tell Arthur but i don't know where he is"
"Isn't he at work?"
"I'm just leaving and no he's not here"
"Don't worry I know where he might be" I said
"Thank you Gary"
"It's alright"
-
I knew where Arthur might be...he usually loves sitting at this particular cafe. I walked in and sighed with relief he was there. He had his hoodie over his head and he was quietly sobbing. I sat opposite him and placed my cold hand onto his warm hand
He looked up, he's green eyes were surrounded around a shade of light red, he clenched his jaw and looked away.
"Arthur I'm so sorry" I explained
"I thought you never wanted to see me ever again" he said as he wiped his tears
"I shouldn't have said that"
"Okay" Arthur responded as he still refused to face me
"Gary called me and told me everything"
Arthur blinked a couple of times, his drenched long eyelashes flickered as he wiped his eyes
"He told me that you didn't do anything"
Arthur lightly shrugged his shoulders
"I'm really really sorry and I want you back" I cried
Arthur looked at me and shook his head
"You never believed me! You know how much that sucks" he said as he stood up and walked out. I trailed after him and held onto his arm
"Arthur please"
"No! You don't even trust me y/n" Arthur said
He was right...I was so delusional
"And that hurt me more than anything" he said as he walked away
-
After a few days I just couldn't get over how stupid I was that day. I lost Arthur! I decided to go to his workplace and just speak things out. I walked out to find Arthur standing outside my apartment, my eyes widened
"Arthur?"
"I forgot something" he explained
"What did you forget?" I asked
Arthur came closer and grabbed me from my face and kissed me tight. He slowly pulled away
"I forgot to do that" I smiled
I was so confused
"I want you back y/n" he explained as he kissed me again

Goodnite Socialite
Chapter 1: "Difficult For Me To Do, Quiet The Brain"
We all go through phases in our lives, right? There's ups and downs, high and lows, it's all part of the human existence.
Human existence seems subpar as of lately.
This voice has crawled into my head and made a home, filling my thoughts with nothing but negativity, sucking my motivation dry. I've done nothing but wake up, record a video, send it to my editor, and then crawl back in bed. I've been stuck in this damn routine for the past month, and people have noticed. What could I do? This voice refused to give me a break.
Luckily, Mark hasn't given up on me. Last week, we proposed a plan, a plan to create a channel to end in one year. He told me it might bring my motivation back, and I couldn't agree more. He dragged me out of bed today to record one video for Unus Annus and then drag me to some bar to watch his friend perform.
"A break from your routine would help," Mark had said as he dropped me off at my house to get ready. "Get you back on your feet."
I didn't want to be out in public, and certainly not inside a crowded bar. But Mark was right, I needed a break, I should push myself to get out.
I stood in front of my closet now, filing through different shirts to wear. Something nice, but not too nice. I glanced at my yellow hoodie.
A hoodie makes you look like a slob, the voice mocked.
I moved on to a long-sleeve.
Plain.
I huffed, grabbing a random shirt. It was a button-up, red, yellow, and blue geometric shapes against a grey background.
There was no snarky comment from the voice.
I put it on, shrugging in the mirror. I looked good, but I couldn't let myself admit it.
I texted Mark, letting him know I was ready. I gave Spencer a scoop of food, gave him a quick pat and headed out the door. Mark smiled as I hopped in the car.
"Lookin' good, man!" He exclaimed, backing out of the driveway.
"Thanks, where's Amy?" I asked. Amy was supposed to join us, but she wasn't in the car.
"Already there. She's helping Salem set up."
"Salem?"
"The friend you're going to meet."
I nodded. "That's a badass name."
"Fits her personality, too. She's sweet, just a little…" he paused. "Out there."
"What do you mean?"
"You know how I have a big ego?"
"All too well, my friend."
He ignored my comment. "She's that and then some."
I winced.
"You'll like her better than most people she's associated with."
He was making her sound like a bad person. I started to regret leaving my house. I wasn't up for dealing with a bigger ego than Mark's.
"She's a socialite," he continued. "She just does this cover band thing for fun."
I kept quiet. A socialite. So, she's rich. I hated the rich.
"Listen, man," Mark sighed, picking up on my silence. "You know me, I'd never be friends with someone that I didn't think was a good person. Amy's known her since they were teenagers. She's a good person. I didn't mean to give you a bad impression of her."
"It's okay," I finally spoke up. "I just don't know if I have the energy to meet someone like her."
Mark nodded in response, pulling into the bar's parking lot. It wasn't too packed, but we had to park a ways away from the door. We spotted Amy near the center of the bar, sitting at a small round table with several baskets of fries and a few beers.
"Hey!" She greeted us as we sat down. "You're just in time, they're starting in a few minutes." She slid a basket of fries and a beer bottle to me. "These are from Salem."
I was being buttered-up already by someone I haven't met yet. I smiled, masking away the truth. "Tell her thank you."
"You tell her yourself," Amy sipped on her own drink. "She wants to meet you after the show."
Puzzled, I asked why.
"'Any friend of Mark and Amy is a friend of mine' she said to me. And she always loves meeting new people."
"And she likes to show off," Mark piped up through a mouthful of fries.
Amy rolled her eyes. "Yeah, that's true. She can be a bit flirtatious, but she means well."
A flirtatious, egotistical, narcissist. A perfect reason to get out of the house. I sighed, looking down at my fries. Was I really stubborn enough to not eat these just because she bought them for me? I've barely eaten anything for the past month, I guess a few fries wouldn't hurt.
The lights flickered up on stage, drawing my eyes to a woman adjusting her base strap on her shoulders.
She looks pretentious, the voice mocked again. For the first time, I disagreed. She was stunning, dressed in a Hawaiian shirt tucked into her jeans. All my previous thoughts of her faded away. She was graceful but powerful in the stage lights, as if she belonged in the spotlight.
"Good evening, everyone!" The woman on stage purred in a singsong voice, placing her round glasses on top of her head to keep her wavy hair back. "Welcome to tonight's show!"
The crowd cheered as the rest of the band walked on stage.
"If you are new, my name is Salem. This is Melanie." She gestured to the soft-looking keyboard player who blew a kiss to the crowd. "Pike," an androgynist guitarist winked. "And Vivian," the drummer danced in her with her drumsticks in hand. "And we are Witch Haven!"
"Witch Haven?" I leaned closer to Amy, questioning the band name.
"An homage to her ancestors," she whispered back. "They were witches during the Salem Witch Trials. She gets her name from that, too."
"Really?"
"Yes, now hush!" She waved me off with a smile.
Salem continued to speak upfront. "We have a few covers lined up for you tonight, starting with Goodnight Socialite by The Brobecks." A few people in the crowd cheered. "Mel? Will you start us off?"
Their show began. For a cover band, they played well together, and didn't try to outshine the original artist. Salem, the lead singer, sang beautifully, and I could hardly look away.
Halfway through the song, her eyes landed on me. The anxiety that I had felt this whole month increased. My stomach turned, my palms sweating. Every time I glanced back at her after taking a swig of my beer, there her eyes were, dark, and fixed on me. I gulped, and she must have noticed. She winked at me. Was she into me? I felt myself give into that idea.
You think she'd ever be with a loser like you? The voice shot me down. You? She's rich, Ethan. She has no interest in you. Why would she ever be into you?
I covered my ears, trying to drown it out. Would this ever end? This low-point? Would I ever get a break. It was a mistake leaving my house, I should have protested to Mark more. I should be at home, with my dog, curled up in bed while I wallow in misery.
"Ethan?" Mark's voice interrupted my thoughts. "Ethan, are you okay?"
I paused, what could I say? They both knew what was wrong with me, so why ask?
"Is it too loud?" Amy asked.
I nodded, a good excuse.
"The next song is quieter. Or do you want to go home?"
I shook my head. Something in me wanted to stay, to possibly talk to Salem. Maybe I had a chance despite what the voice said.
After an hour, the band finished their show, and the bar started to clear out. Mark left to go talk to the band, Amy headed for the restroom, leaving me alone at the table with an empty beer bottle and a basket of fries. I watched Mark disappear backstage, I was truly alone in the bar now. Should I wait by the car? Do I wait here? I didn't know what to do.
Salem walked out from backstage, beginning to pack away the instruments and cords.
You should leave.
I stood up.
Leave! Now!
My feet involuntarily started towards the stage.
What are you doing?! What do you think will come of this?
I reached the stage, Salem’s back turned to me.
She doesn’t see you. You can still turn away and-
“Salem?”
She turned around, her shoes squeaking against the floor. She smiled, her tongue sticking out a bit. “Hello,” she cooed, crouching to meet my eyes. “And who might you be?”
Hazelnut. Her eyes were the color of hazelnuts. “I, uh- I’m Ethan.”
“Ethan!” Her eyes started to sparkle. “Amy told me about you. Come, come!” she stuck her hand out, waiting to pull me up onstage with her. “Any friend of Mark and Amy is a friend of mine.”
I took her hand, pushing off the ground with my foot to climb up. She fixed the collar of her Hawaiian shirt, shaking it out a bit. “How did you like my show?” She took her glasses off her head, cleaning them on her shirt.
“Oh, it- it was incredible,” I fumbled my words a bit, trying not to look at her stomach that was slightly exposed.
“Ah! Good!” She placed her glasses on her face. “I love meeting new fans. Now, do you have a favorite part, dear Ethan?”
My heart jumped. “Well, I- uh…”
She tilted her head a bit. “You seem so nervous! Is everything alright?”
“I'm- I'm just going through this anxious episode, thing.”
Stop talking.
“Oh, you poor thing!” She grabbed my hands, holding them close to her chest, causing me to stumble forward slightly. “I do hope my show helped!”
“It- it did! It did!” I stuttered. God, I couldn’t think straight. “It’s just that-”
“Did I upset you somehow?” She started to lean closer, concern covering her face.
Spit it out.
“You were making eyes at me!”
Salem dropped my hands, taking a step back. “I was doing what?” Her singsong voice disappeared.
You shouldn't have said that. 'Making eyes at me'? Who even says that? She winked at you, nothing more, you idiot.
“I was sitting near the back, and you couldn’t take your eyes off me, and-”
“Oh!” She started laughing. “Oh, no, my dear Ethan. My girlfriend was sitting in the back. I was making eyes at her!”
Every ounce of hope left my body.
“You must have been sitting in front of her,” Salem continued. “Her name’s Cherry. I love her to death.”
“You- you must be- you must have been- been together for a while, then?” I stuttered, shoving my sweaty hands into my pockets.
“Five years!” Her eyes lit up, clasping her hands together. “I couldn’t be happier. She always takes off after my gigs, though,” she stood on her toes, peering over me to scan the room. “She’s a busy woman, taking calls left and right. I’m proud of her!”
“I’m happy for you,” I cleared my throat, rubbing the back of my neck. “Look, I’m really sorry for thinking-”
“Don’t be!” She took up my hands again, just like before. “You are so sweet and respectful, Ethan. Stuff like this happens more often than you’d think!”
“Wha- really?”
She nodded vigorously, her glasses slipping down her nose a smidge. “Some guys will straight up try to kiss me after a show without even asking. Pike will have to step in and throw ‘em out.”
“I’m so sorry that happens to you,” I was itching to leave now. I felt my stomach turning.
“But you are a gem, Ethan. Will you come to my next show?”
“When is it?” I was filling in words to get this over with. I had to leave.
She shrugged. “It’s never set in stone.”
“I’ll try my best, then,” I pulled my hands away. “I gotta go. It was so nice to meet you, Salem.” I hopped off the stage, speeding towards the door, hardly hearing Salem call after me.
“Goodbye, Ethan! Lovely to meet you!”
I stumbled through the exit, sprinting towards Mark’s car. I fell to the ground, dry heaving into the ditch. The parking lot was almost empty now, only a few cars parked on the other side.
I’m an idiot. A loser. How could I be so stupid to even think of talking to Salem? Let alone think she even had a desire to be with me. Of course, she was in a relationship. Of course, she had a girlfriend. Just my luck, falling for a girl who had no desire to even be with a boy.
Since when did I start crying?  I stopped dry heaving at this point. I sat on my thighs, knees digging into the dirt, sobbing into my hands.
“I’m such an idiot,” I choked on a tear. “Look at me, crying in a bar parking lot. Pathetic.”
“Ethan? Ethan!”
Oh, god. It’s Mark.
Mark grabbed my shoulders from behind me, gently pulling me to his chest. I kept my face in my hands. “Ethan, what is going on?”
“Ethan.” I heard Amy’s voice next to me. She started rubbing my arm with one hand, the other on my knee. “Ethan, everything’s gonna be alright.”
I whimpered, shaking my head, still covering my face. “No, it not.” I pulled away from Mark and Amy. I had nothing more to say. Everything was going wrong. This low-point, it felt like my world was ending. I wanted this voice gone, I wanted my motivation back, I wanted this anxiety to leave. I shouldn't have come here. I shouldn't have spoken to Salem. I should never leave my house again.
They were silent for a moment, Amy rubbing my back as I hunched over, crying.
“Do you want to go home?” Mark asked, his voice soft.
I nodded.
“Will you be fine alone?” Amy chimed in.
I nodded.
“Let’s get you up,” Mark coaxed, placing his arm around my waist and a hand in mine. I never protested as he lifted me up and brought me to the car door. I usually would, claiming that I could do it myself. I was too tired to protest.
So tired…

Just Saying (P.JS) Pt. 1
For the little bean's birthday...well...not so little bean lol. I had an awesome time writing this. Great music to inspire me.
With Love,
~J.
Jisung knew he wasn't perfect. Or in fact anywhere good enough to be with someone as perfect as you. He made that clear to himself and made sure he never went across the line on most things. Yet...you got a boyfriend...and he has some thoughts about how you're treated in the relationship.
"So...since you aren't apart of the single crowd anymore...are we still going to do stuff like this?" Jisung asked while looking up at the starry night sky while you laid next to him. "Of course dummy. You're my best friend. All of the guys too." You said sitting up a little bit; Jisung subconsciously brushing the grass off of your back. "Just making sure." He sighed quietly.
"Just know that if anything were to happen to you-" "You have 21 big brothers to kick his ass." You both chorused. He laughed at how much they've drilled the thought into your mind that you don't need them to finish the sentence.
"Good job." Jisung chuckled. He just stared at the distant stars though. They probably love one another freely. He shook the thought quickly from his mind before he would get pissed off more than he was last night.
No one approved of your boyfriend Minhyuck. He wasn't a mafia member like the rest of you were. Minhyuck was a stuck up snobby kid that lived in the hills in a huge house and had people waiting on him hand and foot; every single hour of the day when he wasn't with you of course. All the boys knew they would have to pick up the pieces of your broken heart eventually. Sadly, you were thinking of fairytales...when this world wasn't a fairytale granting place to begin with.
"Jisungie. Can you please give me a ride to the ice cream shop?" You asked looking down at the lost in thought boy. He sighed, "why?" leaving his pink lips.
"Because...Minhyuck wanted to meet up." You said checking your phone again. "It's Friday, and Friday is for the family." Jisung said sitting up with his arms supporting his weight. You understood it was Family Friday, and that you haven't missed a single Friday night stargazing with Jisung since the creation of Family Friday. "...but..." was all you could muster.
"...please?..." You asked gently, knowing Jisung would give in eventually. "No. He's not family. Today is for family." Jisung shook his head, laying back down with his hands under his head.
"But I think of him as family." Was your only argument at a time like this. Well, he's not, honey. "I understand that. But there will come a time where you will probably get married and we can't stargaze together anymore." He replaced his thought with something more gentle; afraid to get you upset and pouty.
"I'll always stargaze with you, Jisung. I always have...so that's why I'm asking...just this one time, please." You said and he knew you had a point...but he was specifically told to not let you run around with that boy if you had a chance. He wanted to see you happy though -- even if it meant hurting himself.
He sighed shallowly and looked at your wishing figure illuminated by the moon and stars. Your big y/e/c eyes resembling a dog's as it's awaiting for a treat.
"Which ice cream shop?"
___________________
Jisung pulled up to the shop with you in the passenger seat. He spotted Minhyuck waiting for you outside of the shop. He was yelling in his phone. His father probably bought him the wrong pony. Jisung chuckled to himself at the thought of the other man's anger being caused by the made-up tale.
"What's funny?" You asked as you got your purse ready. "Nothing. Was thinking of a joke Mark told me earlier." He shrugged it off. You nodded and tried to open the door. Jisung stopped you by pressing the lock. "Hoodie. Now." He said and you groaned. "Jisung." You said and he just cocked an eyebrow at your sudden outburst of sass.
"I have my foot on the brake. I can just hit the gas and drive you home right now if you want...Just Saying." He said and you quickly shook your head no. You fished around in the backseat for one of the boys' hoodie's. You finally found one and brought it on your lap. You quickly pulled it over your head and realised it was one of Renjun's...that he stole from Jisung.
Minhyuck hit his wrist with his finger, signalling that you both were taking up his time. "Your boyfriend is calling for you." Jisung said and you nodded, unlocking the door and hopping out. "Call me if anything." Jisung calls and you nod as the door shut and your hand waved as a form of goodbye.
He watched you scurry over to the asshole who just gave you a half-ass side hug and went inside. You held the door open for him. "Not even decent manners. Ha." Jisung scoffed to himself in the privacy of his own car.
Why can't you just tell her that you like her?
Jisung just drove around for awhile until he got your call that you both had finished up. "Why are you sniffling so much?" Jisung questioned as he got on the highway. "It's cold you dumba*s." You giggled and he felt his heart tinge at the sound.
"Alright I'm almost there. Stay put." He said as he drove down the highway. The gas meter signalling he would need to stop and get some on the way home. He felt his pocket and groaned. Forgot it at home.
He turned down the street and was met with you standing outside of the ice cream shop...alone...hoodieless. He took a breath before he let his anger get the best of him without knowing what happened. You waddled to the car and got in. You put on the seat belt and just sat in the cool leather seats that were warming up quickly.
"Where's the hoodie?" Jisung questioned, while also looking around for the white Mercedes Benz that Minhyuck always drives around. "Oh...that." You nodded. "Yeah...that. Where is it?" He repeated the question.
"In the ice cream shop...in the trash can." You nodded, your eyes focused on the strings of your jeans. "What? Why?" Jisung yelped a little at the answer. "Minhyuck brought up a good point. I shouldn't be walking around in other boys' clothes." You stated matter-of-factly.
Jisung just didn't say anything as he put his forehead against the steering wheel. "I'm sorry. I'll buy you a new one." You said and he just hit his forehead softly with the cool material of the steering wheel.
I don't care about the fucking hoodie. "Okay."
He started driving down the road and was remembered by the gas meter. "Can I borrow a 20? I need gas to get home." Jisung said and all you could do was bite your tongue.
"I'm kinda out of money." You said and he slammed on the breaks. "WHAT." Was the only word that left his mouth. "He forgot his wallet and wanted ice cream! I paid!" You defended yourself. Jisung gripped the steering wheel hardly as his knuckled turned and opaque and stark white color.
He has his fucking wallet. He has a fucking credit card with him. He made you pay because he's using you. But you're too nice that you don't fucking see that you-oh my god. Fuck it. Whatever.
"Okay." Was all that Jisung said as he nodded and continued driving. The tension was thick as he counted the miles he was losing on the ride home, praying he had enough to get you both home.
Luckily, by some greater force -- you made it home safely and securely. He turned the car off and just sat there for a second. He looked over to see you passed out in your seat, curling up to the seat for warmth.
Jisung hopped out of the car and went to your side. He slipped his own sweatshirt off and quickly put it on you. He maneuvered you so you were resting on his back comfortingly. He walked the distance from the turn around to the house that many of the members called home.
Forgot his wallet. Makes you pay. Leaves you in the freezing cold without a dam hoodie. Makes you run on his time.
"Pathetic." Jisung mumbled to himself once the door was opened by Renjun who held a banana in one hand and his phone in the other. "Hey...you good?" Was all he asked as Jisung rolled his eyes and carried you in. "We'll talk when I come back down." Jisung said as he walked up the stairs effortlessly with you koala'd on his back for warmth.
He took you to your room. It wasn't weird for he had done it a million times -- but he changed you from your jeans into some sweatpants and just left his sweatshirt on your body. He tucked you in and walked back out and down the stairs to the kitchen where most of the Junior Forces lounged around.
"And here he is now." Renjun said throwing a banana peel away. "Hop off my back, old man." Jisung joked as he grabbed a water bottle. Chenle and Hyuck laughed at their older being harassed by the youngest.
He took a sip from his water and set it down on the counter. His good was up and he ran a hand through his hair again to get it out of his eyes. "I don't ask for this type of treatment." Renjun shook his head and Jisung laughed, throwing an arm around his hyung's sea wide shoulders.
"I'm kidding." Jisung ruffles Renjun's hair quickly and was met with swats of hands from the unflattered older.
"Yeah yeah whatever...but what was up with you a couple minutes ago?" Renjun asked and reopened an old wound. "Oh...yeah." Jisung went back to his water. "Hyung! He was in a perfectly fine mood until you talked!" Chenle said and Renjun rolled his eyes.
"Better to talk about it than internalize it, panini head." Renjun said, growing slightly angry himself. "Guys. Not now...let Jisung explain why he's upset in the first place." Jaemin reasoned out of all the chaos.
"It can't be that bad. You're probably just over analyzing the situation or problem. Just spill and we'll help." Jaemin nudged Jisung's shoulder as he grabbed a water for himself.
"Minhyuck-" and Jisung was cut off from 5 loud groans coming from the various boys spread throughout the kitchen.
Then he heard more groans echo from down the hall where the offices were located. He chuckled to himself. "Okay what did he do now?" Jeno asked as he sat on the counter next to Renjun.
"So y/n wanted to go get ice cream because Minhyuck wanted ice cream. So I drive her and give her a hoodie so she'll stay warm. I drive around for a little bit, come to get her...and she's standing outside, alone, and without the damn hoodie." Jisung explains and at least 4 other members have made their way from the offices and into the kitchen for story time. "So I stay calm and ask where the hoodie was. She said he threw it away because 'Minhyuck said it wasn't right for me to wear other boys' clothe's'." Jisung said and they all shook their heads or rolled their eyes in annoyance.
"That's not even the worst part! Okay, so I was driving around and I was running out of gas. I forgot my wallet here and needed to get us home. So after the hoodie conversation, I ask to borrow 20 dollars...just to get us home safe and sound. I ask to borrow money from y/n, already planning to pay her back when we got home. Then she goes, 'I don't have any money.' So I ask what she meant." Jisung said and everybody was at the edge of their seats.
"Guys. He made her pay because he 'forgot his wallet'." Jisung used air quotes for the highlighted purpose of the story. They all groaned and called bullshit. "Exactly." Jisung said running a hand through his hair.
"This relationship isn't gonna last long." Johnny shook his head. "Yeah. I know. We just have to be there to pick up the pieces when it all goes to hell." Jisung rolled his eyes for the umpteenth time for the night.
"So when are you gonna tell her you like her?" Jungwoo asked as he munched on some random food that the Junior Forces made.
"Why would I do that now? She's in a relationship." Jisung shrugged. "Not a healthy one." Mark butted in. "I know that. But I can't just be like, 'Hey. Leave him for me.' It wouldn't work out that good." Jisung finished his water.
Mark shrugged at the younger boys point. "I don't know. I need to talk to her soon. Something seems...fishy. Like, domestic issues fishy." Jisung shook his head. "Woah woah woah...like...he hits her?" Renjun getting off the counter, his protectiveness showing clearly. "I don't know. She's just...very uneasy about certain situations if she's put in them." Jisung said leaning on the counter with his hands supporting his weight. They stood in silence for a moment.
"I don't know. I'll talk to her soon." Jisung said excusing himself to go to bed himself. His moods were shifting too quickly today and now he was just tired.
He ascended the steps with slow movements. Passing your room, he entered his own and stripped himself of his day clothes, opting for his comfy clothes he cherished close to him.
He laid down and just looked straight up as he met the tacky glow in the dark stars you put on his ceiling. He saw the constellations you messily put up there and his heart jumped again.
________________
You sat in your bed with your knees on your chest and sheets pulled around you. It was 6 am and you couldn't sleep. You were conflicted...and out of money.
You hopped out of bed and scurried next to door. You threw open the door silently and was met with the lump of blankets that concealed your best friend. You walked over and body slammed yourself onto the blankets. A low groan was heard and there was minimal shifting in the blankets. "What time is it?" He asked not even bothering looking at the clock next to his bed. "6."
He groaned again. "Go back to your room." He whined like a little kid. "No. It's too cold." You countered back.
Like a wormhole-his blankets opened up and sucked you into the dark abyss. It was warm and dark in the blankets; making you understand why he liked sleeping so much.
He just hugged you and you both drifted off into a deep sleep again.
