tbh it sucks so much we're limited by language barriers and other stuff. there are so many things and themes i'd like to mention, but only a bunch of people will understand. if a classic is written in a language different from english it's a hassle to get people from other counties to read it. sometimes it's translated without a care, sloppily, from a language that wasn't even the original one. sometimes it isn't even translated at all, left in obscurity

Is your bracket going to be seeded based on the times each character was submitted?
I didn't really understand the question, so I'll answer the two things I think you could have meant while sounding stupid for not knowing what you meant
1. So the most submitted character will all be in the bracket, but it won't be the only poll held. I'll hold multiple polls to use all the submissions I got
2. I'll use a wheel to randomize who faces off against who.

These headcanons are actually so random but they are fun so
Bendy first language isn't English, it's actually latin. He has NO idea how he learned it, he just knows it. and whenever he hears a demon speak it he gets super excited because FINALLY someone who speaks the same language as him, well, other than English.
THOUGH, since he can speak Latin like every demon he..feels appreciated because of it. Because every demon just always says that they finally have something in common and actually sounds like a demon, just because of him knowing latin.
sometimes, whenever he remembers Felix's talent, he tries to communicate with the cat in latin, but all he gets is gasps and confused looks.
But the cat himself? Looks at the demon like he just said he found the biggest secret ever, but then he replies!!
Now everyone just grew used to it. Well- Boris, Holly and Felix. The rest just keep forgetting.
He swears holly keeps making him translate phrases in Latin like he's a translator...he doesn't mind though, it's fun. Better than being stuck in a room struggling to read a book in a language he doesn't understand too well.
Not me who keeps rambling in the tags

i think the problem with the England/Britain thing you mentioned is that most US people don't seem to know the difference. i actually didn't and had to look it up. im 29 and never once in school did they tell me there's a difference so i guess I'll be educating people from now on about that?? Im sorry though, it must be really frustrating
Honestly it's okay! I know how America-centric a lot of online spaces are, so it's something I see and roll my eyes at all the time; unfortunately I can't really change the state of the education system over there but. I'll use this as a jumping off point to chatter.
As someone from Wales, I've always grown up having to constantly correct people that I'm not from England, and I'm not English, and that the UK is far more than JUST England, like... I'm used to it. It happens. I always try to explain to people this is the equivalent of me referring to all of America as 'New York' for example, and obviously that isn't true, because not every American is from NY- just like British =/= English!
I guess it grates on me bcuz I know a lot about a lot of different American states, and most don't know (and sometimes don't care) that the UK is made up of 4 countries, know very little about Europe in general as a whole, & sometimes try and speak over us on our geography, history, & culture.
But sadly I am one person and I can't really change the state of education over there 😭 BUT! now you know that Britain refers to more than just England! So it is a net positive! I am also happy to be seeing the energy crisis in the UK being discussed on a larger scale, outside of British news & media-- bcuz it is a genuinely terrifying issue for a lot of people & it has brought forth the reality of how big the class divide here truly is in the UK, and how corrupt it really is. The sociopolitical dynamic of it is very different to America; I'm mostly happy more people are seeing it now.

Is there anything that you really want to do before you die?
honestly, i think i'd just like to really live first. you know? i want to do more, experience more, learn more, see more. the universe is so vast and beautiful and busy, and i am so small and tired but part of it nonetheless. i want to see the world get better than it is right now. i want to feel better than i do right now. i want to build up a better support system for myself and start seizing opportunities as they come to me. i wanna see myself and the people around me keep growing into the people we want to be, even as that ideal changes with us. mostly, i want to be safe, and loved, and happy. i hope that answers your question
