umm does anon live in some alternative universe of army fandom where people are calling Yoonmin fanservice? Cause from my 4 yrs of experience what i know is tkkrs occupies around 80% of army fandom and #THEY love to call jkk fanservice and since they want jm to stay away from jk they ship him with yg like not even jkk posts get's so much like from armys the way yoonmin get's. There's decided ships for this fandom since beginning and that's taekook, yoonmin and namjin. These are the most popular ships in the fandom so idk where that fanservice came from.

the thing that irks me about yg is how easily he can praise jk and Th who are also maknaes but it takes special efforts for him to praise him. When someone tries to praise jm here comes my man yg saying "yeah but jungkook does it better", "yes but jm can you stop doing that", "yes but why did you have a guitar when you don't know how to play" , "yes but why were you getting emotional that wasn't the time" there's always a but when it comes to praising jm but see how effortlessly he does it for jk and TH. The whole tom and jerry dynamics being him constantly saying something to jm idk how that's fascinating to y'all.

I remember how armys were dragging that one grp which i think was seventeen or something else i don't remember but yeah they were saying that the members needs to have some sense cause they were teasing one member over his weight but yg saying "i don't why you were shirtless when you're body wasn't even that great" like yes king show us how tom and jerry works. It actually gave me a small heartattack when in today's suchwita yg said something one good line about jm. Anyways jm loves him so i have no right to feel bad or anything on his behalf.

Anon didn't say anyone was calling yoonmin (or any one else) fanservice, so 1. Calm down over THAT part. 2. There have also been jkkrs and vminners and sope (hopeminers? Lol) since 2013 as well, so relax there too. Not that it's a competition?? Because that's weird...

And 3, and most importantly.... the thing that irks me about you is that you are speaking in fact about yoongi not complimenting jimin ever, when Yoongi praises Jimin just as much as he teases him. And for all the bickering and teasing Yoongi gives Jimin, Jimin gives it right back JUST AS MUCH. SO GOD DAMM, chill out and look at the whole picture there. I'm convinced western society is being massively conned. Someone feel free to write this better or expand parts:

The audacity of young people online, with zero knowledge of a famous woman's body of work and very long allegiance to the LGBT community, immediately declaring the woman unimportant trash just because she rightfully called out pandering politicians and reproductive organizations for using language reducing all female (afab) people to body parts and functions, as if that's inclusive and not insulting--like you really think a trans man wants to be called a "menstruator" too? No-op, pre-op & post??--while those same politicians and orgs ALWAYS keep the language for men the same!

These knee-jerk losers and tabloid media really say a fierce, liberal, Jewish woman was somehow punching down instead of shining a spotlight on the on-going misogynistic trend of companies going "Yes, we support equal rights for all MEN and... *squints at notes* vagina-owners/uterus-havers/menstruators/pregnant bodies"?!

Y'all are NEVER this quick to discard men who actually shit on marginalized people! But you will twist one tweet about misogyny from a woman in the middle of a fight for human rights, and suddenly she's disposable! An enemy you openly talk about adding to a pile of other women on a list for a variety of reasons. Meanwhile, predatory, abusive, violent, racist and phobic men get excused or forgiven.

I see you. We see you. No way this isn't on purpose, especially now. Online activists write essay posts and tweet threads about being so aware of propaganda and psy-ops, until it happens to them, huh?

Ask. Who benefits the most by dividing women into separate distrusting classes based on race or wealth? Who benefits the most by pushing that maybe certain women don't deserve rights? Who benefits the most by convincing trans men and nb females they're suddenly being excluded from a rights movement that always included them? Who benefits the most from changing vital information into confusing word jumbles for non-native English speakers? Now who would be the most disadvantaged from all people born female rising together as a class, not just nationally but around the world to fight for liberation?

We need to start side-eyeing everyone who directs us to sic individuals they choose as if we're their attack dogs. Verify if the response is warranted before we jump to obey. If it's not, we need to start biting in the opposite direction.

2. Go to your AO3 “Works” page, to the sidebar with all the filters, and click the drop-down arrow for “Additional Tags.” What are your top 3-5 most used tags? Do you think they accurately represent your writing habits?

Post-Canon (16/81 Fics), Fluff (13/81), Hurt/Comfort (10/81), Aged-Up Character(s) (7/81), and Angst (6/81).

I think this is more indicative of me under-tagging certain things. Like, "you're a crisis of my faith" isn't tagged for angst despite being a fic entirely about rape trauma. With Fluff, though, it's just... harder to think of tags that fit. Do I really need to tag hugging and cuddling and pet names? Arguably yes, but you can also file all of that under "fluff" and everyone still knows what you mean.

4. What detail in [insert fic] are you really proud of?

Speaking of YACOMF, I really like the opening lines,

And here is where it ends: face down on a grave while Belos fucks her like a dog. The words and the pain and the weak little Palisman squeaks are all distant, but the smell of hairspray and glue is louder than God.

I wanted to emphasize how Luz is trying to distance herself from what's happening, hence also lines like "Her body only her hands in the dirt and her face in the wig her mother had bought for her off the internet." I really wanted to have some kind of focus on the mundane externalities and not so much on the actual physical feeling of what's happening to her, mostly because I'm honestly very, very tired of fics that try to present rape for horror yet write it in the exact same way someone would write it for smut, with the same blow-by-blow voyeurism. I'm not upset at anyone who does this, and I understand the larger reasons why it happens, but if I can be completely honest, it's fucking boring to me at this point. As soon as the scene starts I know literally everything that is going to happen, right down to the word choices. Why is this scene 5,000 words again? They got raped and got a bit of a boner and now they're sad and confused. Let's move on.

Arguably, I didn't do enough, and I'm not trying to act like I'm some masterful writer breaking new ground, but I do think having more particular, mundane details adds more to the horror than the blood and guts. A lot of my horror writing is informed by this idea of "going cold," which Dylan Landis did a great write-up on for Brevity. (Tw: csa, rape, suicide.)

Several fics have been pretty influential on my writing style: the biggest ones I keep consciously returning to are "could not erase it" by Kali Cephirot, which I've used as inspiration for both el dickchompo three and a published essay of mine, and Eden by obsessmuch, which I constantly plagari--- I MEAN, embed references to in my works. The "louder than God" phrase in "you're a crisis of my faith"? You guessed it.

48. What’s the last fic you read? Do you recommend it?

According to my ao3 history, basically all the fics I've read this last six months are trash-tier porn fics that I don't even actually "read," but pick apart and use as a base for me to then paint over with the characters I'm actually interested in. "Textual poaching" at its most literal. There's no point linking any because they're all bad and I'm only """"""reading""""" them because my growing taste for extreme kinks means the amount of good fic available to me is constantly shrinking. Most people can't even get gangbangs right! I live in Hell.

That being said, Rodion @lukebeartoe is writing a [REDACTED] for the tennis team AU and every time he shares a snippet it makes me want to bite things. He writes good stuff! Sometimes without even mentioning Nick!

Well, last night I wrote some Nickberto, but that's for a personal AU and thus will make literally no sense to all but a select few of you. since we've talked about "crisis" so much, I might as well share what I have written of Part 2:

Flapjack gives himself for Hunter’s chance at a better ending. That part always stays the same. What’s different now are the eyes staring back at her, one brown and one hollowed out. What’s different now is the twist of guilt in her chest like a knife—no, a sword—no, a black hole that will make the sun rising tomorrow feel obscene. What’s different now is that her mother and her girlfriend and her friends all arrive and can see that she’s forgotten to tuck Hunter’s cock back into his pants.
