Are you open to shipping? Is there anyone in the scions that you specifically ship with the warrior of light?

Hi there!

Thanks for the warm welcome! Our Muses are open for shipping, with certain outlines for teenage muses (i.e only innocent fluff with characters their age) and no smut.

That being said, the following Muses are likely to be a good for the Warrior Of Light:

Y'shtola - Y'shtola needs a project to stay interested, and the WoL is an eternal project. Plus, she doesn't mind long-distance or working/living apart for a time because she likes her space.

Lyse - Honestly the easiest/quickest relationship to get going, plus there's the drama baked in around her hidden identity. Can you imagine Papalymo sideyeing her whenever she got all flustered, asking if she's going to tell the WoL her identity?

Urianger - For the most part, Urianger likely wouldn't fully embrace a relationship until Shadowbringers, when he has come better into his own.

Minfilia -Minfilia places a lot of trust in the WoL. There is a lot of time in between major plot points/ARR patches that would allow them to bond. Although initially hesitant because of their working relationship, Minfilia wouldn't be the type to withhold happiness from herself if she felt the feelings were mutual.

Krile - Krile tends to take the Team Mom role in the Scions, but her wish for the WoL to be happy comes from a place of genuine love. Whether that love could turn romantic or not depends on the circumstances at hand -- and maybe even some events in Dawntrail, too?

G'raha - An obvious option, of course! Though we do not 'bake in' having a crush on every WoL, it's easy to see how that admiration throughout the story could evolve into something more.

Haurchefant - Like G'raha, Haurchefant's admiration for the WoL is easy to convert into a genuine (if not ill-fated) love.

This doesn't mean that all other NPCs are off-limits for WOLs! While there are some specifics to our interpretations (see the Character pages), most of the Scions are open to romantic ships. We may just require some specific plotting/discussions with the other Mun in question to move forward!

Oh my goodness, my first ask! Sorry, but I am quite excited ^^

So, in regards to the game itself, I know it's more of a 'popular-ish' opinion, but I really, really don't like how Neksdor is played out; yeah, it's a standard that second stages in Nintendo games are (usually) the weakest, but it really felt like, to me, they have spent all the budget that was supposed to be for Neksdor on RotF :'D

Besides the lack of a cohesive story and map design, it left a LOOOOT of unanswered questions; where's the prince's palace, since the GH royalty has one? Who was speaking to us through our teammates in the pyramid? Why was the king there near the end?

On top of that, I despise how the villagers in Neksdor are depicted as the "more negative" counterparts to the more western Greenhorne's- BUT THAT'S ANOTHER STORY FOR ANOTHER DAY :3

Another, less popular opinion of mine is regarding the placement of the jobs; yes, it makes sense for Cats and Scientists to be in Neksdor (Egypt revering cats and the excavations of the pyramids respectively), and for Flowers and Princesses to be in RotF (both are commonly used symbols in fairy tales)- what I don't get? Why Tanks are in RotF, and Imps are in Neksdor.

Think about it; Tanks would better fit transportation in the desert, and really don't appear to fit the whole fairytale theme of RotF (unless if we count the fact that fairies are weak to iron, according to most myths), while Imps could be the "unseelie" counterparts to the elves' "seelies". To this day, I wonder what Nintendo was cooking.

begonia : how cautious is your muse ? are they prone to noticing red flags , or paranoid to the point of untrusting most everyone ? why or why not ?

On this blog, we support an Ysayle-didn't-die AU. Instead, Ysayle's broken faith means she is unable to summon Shiva again, but ultimately was saved by Hraesvelgr and didn't burst into shards upon helping the Scions reach Azys Lla. She then was nursed back to health and looked after by Vidofnir and maintained a 'consultant' position between Ishgard and the Dravanians...for a time.

So!

Post-Heavensward Ysayle would be far more cautious when it came to trusting others. Despite her reputation as Lady Iceheart, Ysayle always had a bit of a soft spot for those seemingly in need. She wanted to desperately be the Person that her younger self had needed, and therefore welcomed nearly anyone spurned by Ishgard into their ranks.

But upon learning the truth of her visions and of Shiva, Ysayle could not go back to who she was. Already relatively guarded as the leader of the heretics, there are few whom she would easily confide in out of paranoia of ulterior motives. This would get to the point where Ysayle would have to leave Coerthas as a whole.

Perhaps she could be persuaded to one day join the Scions (post-Endwalker perhaps?), but it is more likely she would join those who sought to make peace with the beastman tribes. She'd likely end up in Gridania, entreating first with the Moogles of the Twelveswood at the behest of their Moghome kin. For awhile, she would only ever seem fully comfortable around those of similar tribes...and the Warrior of Light, of course.
