I think it's finally time I introduced the oc for the fic I'm writing!

Everyone meet Elise Dubois, owner and tailor of Dubois Clothier in Ginza, Kyobashi, Tokyo.

She's not a slayer, or fighter of any kind, but an immigrant who came to Japan by way of Dutch trading vessel. He'd parents were Vampire hunters in France, belonging to the Guilde des Chasseurs de Vampires, who fled the country after the death of their leader and collapse of the Guilde.

Her parents contracted TB shortly after their arrival, leaving her and her younger brother Marcus to fend for themselves. Luckily, Elise was a skilled seamstress prior to their exit from southern France, and thus Dubois Clothier was born.

Eventually she meets a Demon Slayer in need of some repair, and the story progresses from there~

Elise is a fairly friendly, if not a pragmatic person. She values life, enjoys her job, and is proud of the shop she's built in a world where westerners aren't exactly highly viewed. She's fond of fashion, often mixing western and Japanese styles together (such was common in Taisho, Japan) and had many many opinions about colours, patterns, and the joy a new dress or well fitted suit brings.

I have soooo many things I could say about her, but it's definitely best left for the actual fic 😅
