Something that's constantly been on my mind since i first finished season 2 and began season 3 was "Why didn't Kenny return a couple months or a year later to see if there was enough space in Wellington"? maybe I've got a sizable dent in my brain but it's one of those things that my mind backtracks to

I'm also sadly aware of the cut scene where he drowns in a lake, and despite it never being shown and instead being cut, it doesn't directly mean that it *didn't* happen :^(

Or who knows, maybe he came back when Wellington had burnt down and assumed that his kids died there too

I can make a connection using the cutscene. It’s possible that Kenny comes back every now and then (in season 3 he says it’s not worth waiting for Wellington to open up) and Edith just gives him more supplies and tells him to fuck off.

Someday, Wellington falls and he shows up, seeing blood and nonsense everywhere. He checks inside and sees walkers and stuff, and maybe he sees one of AJ’s drawing or his own hat if you don’t take it. He assumes Clem and AJ died or were evacuated and then perhaps he gets depressed again and… does the deed.

In my opinion though, I run the the hc that he lives without responsibility and finds a car to travel, probably going central or south. And in an ideal world where Clem has a good relationship with him, he finds out about her at Ericson’s or he ends up at a nice settlement like Richmond, where his only responsibility is to hunt and tell stories at fires.

Weird that you hold Arvo accountable for his actions but then at the end of the ask you try to make a point that he had an idea of what he was doing unlike Ben. However Ben did full on lock eyes with Clementine before leaving her when the walkers were approaching.

Arvo KNOWS what he's doing! It's his intention to get the group killed and there's no doubt in my mind about that.

As much as I rock with Ben, he is an absolute idiot. I always hold Ben accountable for all his fuckups, but I understand that it wasnt his intention to get half the group killed 😭 he was just out there fucking up

Im just saying that ppl give Ben and Sarah and those types a lot of shit when theyre clearly not trying to fuck things up. Arvo was actively trying to sabotage the group even after they save him from Kenny's wrath like four times, not to mention the cherry on top when he shoots Clem, and im seeing arvo sympathy points?? I noticed that you have Arvo like last on every tierlist, and no im not saying i like him or anything but how do you feel about how kenny treated him?? because i felt like that was downright abusive and wasnt right, hes just a kid :(

Ok so first point, yea i fucking loathe Arvo. I think hes the worst piece of shit in the entire series, hes a nothing burger that just turns into the most 'i wanna kill you so much' character.

BUT I do agree with the fact that Kenny definitely overdoes it when he kicks his ass 😭 Obviously in my mind I'm like "fuck Arvo" and all that, but he didnt deserve all that. I do wish we had the option to kill him tho😭 he gets to do all that and SURVIVES. SMH.

What I don't agree with is the common misconception that Arvo is a scared kid or some shit. He definitely has some control over what hes doing. He brings the Russian group with and antagonizes you regardless of if you steal or not, they get into a standoff when he couldve easily just been normal about it, but no, he says "i wish i couldve met you differently, clementine" or something of the sort, and then all his people die and im supposed to feel like its my fault? 😭 he does it to himself! His sister dying is a by-product of the shootout which... he initiates. I feel bad for him there for sure, but again, just LOOK at it.

The same thing with the river, Arvo definitely knows that the ice is thin, he couldve easily gotten them to walk on the sides but no he chooses not to, (KEEP IN MIND THAT WHEN HE FALLS INTO THE WATER, KENNY PULLS HIM OUT) and then Luke and possibly Bonnie die. Big whoop that Kenny is mad at him there in my opinion, but again, the whole beating wasn't worth it, just tie him up and leave him alone. Just makes Kenny seem even more out of control.

Idk Im definitely a little biased towards Kenny, but it depends on what your outlook on him is. TLDR, in my opinion, Arvo doesnt deserve that much pity that some of the fanbase gives him. He's smart enough to get his group to surround them and to get the group to walk across thin ice. He's not like Ben or Sarah or Tenn. He has an idea guys.
