in season 3's prom episode of derry girls, it was clear that the dynamics between the mothers when they were in high school were replicated in the next generation too. The four women attended the prom with Diedre's cousin accompanying her (and then all of them). So we have four girls and a male cousin of one of them which is just like the Derry girls' situation. something i love about derry girls is the fact that both orla and her mum sarah seem autistic coded. maybe i’ve just not watched enough shows but i feel like it’s rare to ever see multiple family members that are coded the same but everytime i do i get so excited cause my mum and i are both autistic as well.

the other shows i’m thinking of that share the autistcly coded family trait are adventure time (with pb and neddy) and bobs burger (the belchers). i’ve definitely seen at least one more but i can’t think of it.
