im so normal over him, im so insane. I just want to grab him and throw him like a milk soaked plushie before shaking him around in between my mouth like a goddamn beast but I also want to hug him and give him hot chocolate bcz he absolutely deserves and needs it (you CANNOT convince me this man is okay. no one in the society is.) honestly, how tf did Spike Chunsoft create him? like, This man should not exist. He is somehow someone who is both so fuckin cool AND an unserious goofball at the same time?? hes a brave and prideful traveller who calls himself"The Dashing Wanderer", despite the irony of being a bumbling klutz who knocks into everything and everyone with the worse sense of direction known to earth (that serene village scene still linger in my mind). He has created elaborate plans worthy of a mastermind despite losing over half of his friends and under pressure of the END OF THE GODDAMN WORLD, while simultaneously being the goofiest member of the entire society (which, mind you, hes the leader of), AND he drops some of the best and most hillarios lines in the game (the infamous "Nice to meet you, oh wait, no its not" line, which, btw is directed towards Nuzleaf, someone who could have TURNED THEM TO STONE at a moments notice like this man has no chill and balls of steel)

however, his most important character trait, imho, and is the one that binds it all together and makes him such a lovable character is how much he genuinely cares for his friends. He could be everything I said above and he would be a great character, but his genuine care for the expedition society members is what puts him over the top (at least for me). the way how he gets worried that they might ditch him when he says hes there manager, how he gives hero hope after Partners death, how he helps set up partners return, how he gets overjoyed upon seeing hero and partner return safely after dark matter he runs full speed and launches partner away (god that scene really show how much he loves and cares for hero partner like akfaofhapsufaifefhdkjfjafapipufaIuahpOiuhiU)
