For the meta asks:
6. What character do you have the most fun writing?
23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?
Hello lovely!! @generalpizzaengineer Thank you so much for sending these asks. Your presence in my notifs never fails to make me smile. :)
6. What character do you have the most fun writing?
I answered this one already, but I said: I gotta go with Draco. I project onto him quite a bit and I get a lot of satisfaction out of writing him being snarky and sarcastic because it gives me a chance to explore a sense of humor outside of my Hufflepuff-ish tendencies. This wasn't part of the ask, but in answering this question I kept thinking of my fic Speak Now. I really think I found my version of Draco's voice through the epistolary format, and it was so fun to write because I've read a lot of epistolary fics and I was excited to write my twist on it.
23. What’s the story idea you’ve had in your head for the longest?
I have a notes page on my laptop where I write all my fic ideas. (I'm actually rather proud to say that I've completed a good chunk of them—it's especially fun to look back at the notes I made outlining the Taylor as Drarry series.) Anyway, I looked back at it to answer this, and I think the oldest one (that I haven't already written) is something to do with Amortentia? I haven't really done that trope yet, and I always enjoy it.
Also, this isn't an old idea—nor is it one I ever really plan on doing because how would I even...write this as a fic? But I have this in my notes: "death eater cell block tango? they all feel burned by Voldemort and they sing about their experiences?? Called the Dark Mark Tango." I saw this and giggled, and I thought some of yall might find it amusing too 😂.
Ask me a writing meta question from this list! I've already done 3, 6, 8, 17, 20, and 23!
