Ezze v.s Frankie
Playing the updated demo for Our Life: Now and Forever. And I just realized with how stubborn/annoying Ezze is that it probably would drive Qiu crazy because everyone else likes him/them, everyone wants to be their/his friend. And here's this kid who they/he want to be friends with and they simply will not cooperate, they don't want to be friends (at least as kids) besides in Ezze's head Qiu has a lot of friends, and Ezze is weell...a bit of a loner. But I'm hoping when they settle into the house/neighbourhood they might come around and let me romance Qiu. HOPING. The neat thing is I'm currently doing a playthrough where Frankie has a major major crush on Qiu and the dialogue options are so different.

It certainly has its fun moments, though I could see it getting old if it were all the time. I think I may have attempted to seduce you at some point, my apologies for that.

I didn’t mean happening the whole time, but about the night being longer. Either way it’s over now. You sure did, and I should apologize too for turning you down, but i think I did both of us a favor. Imagine all the unnecessary awkwardness if we gotten any further.

“Hey--” She greeted the second the door opened, a shoulder pressed up against the wooden frame, arms crossed over her chest, as she sported rather large sunglasses. A lopsided smile following the greeting. “So, I know it’s a long shot, but what do you know about make-up?” She asked, quite positive that she knew the answer. Neither of them were really into that whole thing, but at this particular moment, Nic was desperate. “In my almighty wisdom, I had stepped in the middle of a fight that broke out between Max and some douche.” She stated, then reaching a hand up to pull the sunglasses down just enough to reveal the black eye underneath them, before then moving them back into place. “I’ve had worse, but I’ve got a hot date tonight.” She stated, “And I think between the both of us, we could work some magic on this face of mine.” A pause, “--I mean, unless you’re busy, which then, I’ll figure it out.”

favorite people on campus
“Sage is pretty cool. I mean, she believes in ghosts and tries to get me to skip class half the time but—“ Tanner shrugs, bit of a smile on his face. “I’d probably also say Frankie, Leo, and Henry. And Anita, she’s... um.” Tanner catches himself. Nope, no need to go there. Already out of his league there with that crush; nevermind the whole boyfriend. Leave it vague. “She’s pretty... um, pretty cool.” Good recovery.
“I’m still getting to know people though so,” he shrugged his shoulders up nearly to his ears, a nervous habit that came now with the fear he hadn’t said the right thing; that maybe he’d left someone out. “Probably more. Like this one guy in my Logic class, he’s got a really cool cat.” Tanner closed his eyes, willing himself to shut up but the words kept coming. Just one last thing to add. “Think he’s named Jim... the cat.”

Felix had been dragged to the Brass Monkey that night for drinks after class with a couple of students from his film editing course. His eyes glazed over as they debated, ordering beer after beer as they argued with each other until he felt a slight buzz, three empty pint glasses in front of him when he finally noticed Frankie across the bar. “’Scuze me,” he mumbled out, stumbling up from his seat and wandering over to his copper-haired friend, sliding in the seat next to her with a hopeful smile. “Hey, Franks,” he greeted her softly. Things had beens strange between them ever since that night with Ellie. He knew they were friends, and that there was no way they hadn’t discussed it. “Can I buy you a drink? Feel like I’ve been kind of MIA lately. My fault,” he said with a soft chuckle. @intothewilde

I appreciate the apology, dear. And it was a very nice gesture. I am not allowed a lot of sugar with my diet; however, but the thought is very appreciated. I accept your apology; however, I am not currently comfortable with scenes with you. I would not be against a dinner sometime; however.
You are welcome Miss and I understand not wanting to do scenes with me right now. That is understandable. I’m sorry I didn’t know you couldn’t have a lot of sugar, maybe you could gift them to someone else? I would love the chance to cook for you and maybe do some chores, just domestic things Miss.

{ closed starter for @frankierobbins }
Grocery shopping day. It was the one day that managed to rank higher than both laundry day and throw the dying plants out day on Lark’s ‘Most Dreaded Day of the Month’ List. Not only were grocery stores usually, and very obnoxiously, pack full of people just wandering around, not needing much of anything or having any other reason to be in the grocery store outside of snagging free samples and clearance items they really didn’t need, but it was the one day a month that, for a few very sweaty hours, Lark was forced to fumble her way through doing something as domestic as grocery shopping with her roommate. Her roommate who, very occasionally, had the ability to make Lark’s heart feel like it was going to explode. Okay, it happened way more than very occasionally- but Lark would go to her grave holding onto that secret.
Truth is, as different as she and Frankie had ended up being when they started living together at the beginning of the year, just a mere six months ago, they had grown close as friends and Lark liked considering them friends over anything. At least, until Frankie kills another one of her plants or breaks one of her favorite mugs. Then she’ll go back to being irritated with her obnoxiously messy roommate and hopelessly crushing on her from afar- until the next grocery shopping day. Which brought Lark to this moment, when she stood at the door to their apartment, one hand in her romper pocket and the other on the front door handle, waiting. “Frankie, can we just get this over with? Put on some clothes and c’mon, if we wait any longer it’s going to take us an hour to checkout again and last time we were stuck behind those two wine moms who would not stop talking while my fresh guacamole browned right in front of our eyes.”

Maybe I am your heroine, maybe I'm not | Frankie, Divya, & Leela
There's no denying that Frankie has lost all of her hope after not hearing from Leela for 2 months. Sure, she might have relapsed for a few days, but it stopped there. She didn't want to go that road again, and it was this time that she was glad she made the right decision.
After receiving the e-mail from Divya, Frankie took some time to respond; at least enough time to process everything. She received a message two weeks after the incident, but she was skeptical about it. She didn't believe that Leela was in India. It was sudden, but she then thought of the fact that Leela has every right to not tell her anything anymore.
But this? Getting married to someone else? It was too much to handle. Part of her wanted to let Leela do whatever she wants, but another part of her wanted to go and save Leela. Knowing herself anyway, she decided to go with the latter.
She called Arjun and they did some quick arrangement, since the flight will be a few hours from now. She has never got dressed quickly in her entire life; it was also the first time she had to basically just throw everything in her bag.
Upon arriving at the airport, she could feel her heart beating fast, but she managed to send a message to Divya: I'm leaving soon. Are you sure this is a good idea? I'm worried. What if she doesn't want to see me?
She didn't wait for the reply. She doesn't want to know the answer. She doesn't even care if Leela wouldn't want to see her. She wants her back. She at least needs to try and win her back.
After a day of sitting and reading music sheets and a few cans of beer, she didn't notice that they would soon be landing. Leela. She was the first person she thought of.
She took her phone, checked for messages, then sent an e-mail to Divya.
We're landing. Where do I go?

“Fuck-”
Clyde was actually a little shocked as his fist had stumbled across so little resistance. These days he had long given up on refraining from violence. It was his first and best instinct, though the punch should have been directed at the creep following him. His eyes widened, half in a curse, half in apology, as she noticed Frankie’s blank expression. The girl was much shorter than the man and thus he apparently had hit her face. “Shit, I’m sorry” It took a moment or two to realize what had happened, another moment to look around whether the other man was somewhere in sight before sighing. “Didn’t mean to hurt you. You shouldn’t approach people from behind like that. Fuck.”

Maybe if he squinted his eyes. And tilted his head? No, nope. Still just a canvas with a whole bunch of splatters. Tanner sighed deeply— the first sign of his defeat. “Yea, I’m sorry but I just don’t get this,” he admitted, hand gesturing towards the piece of art on the wall. “Am I supposed to see something here? Feel something? Cause it’s mostly confusion as to what it’s doing in a museum.” @intothewilde
