Do You Need a Camera Strap or 3 Point Slinger for Your Camera

When we take pictures in the park, we may overlook the experience of the shoulder strap. In fact, for the shoulder strap used with the camera, is a point that can not be ignored. I usually focus on time-lapse photography, pre-shot screen shaking is required to avoid as much as possible. So most of the time the role of the shoulder strap can be said to be more harm than good, naturally not on the shoulder strap.

However, this is not absolute, such as shooting on the roof or cliffside, you can tie the shoulder strap to the side of the fixed object (if any) as a safety, to prevent the camera was touched down. In short, three words: it depends. If most of the time on the tripod shooting, then the shoulder strap is not so necessary. If the day-to-day is street photography capture, news events, portraits, etc. need a long time handheld, there may be a change of lens and other operations of the shooting, then the shoulder strap is very useful.
