C - Caregiver - How do they give/receive care best? Do they care for everyone or just a small number of people? How do they react to someone in need?

⚀ Hanekoma can be very good at giving care to others. Be that by making food for them, tending to wounds or illness, tending to emotional needs, or just by ensuring that the person he’s caring for has taken what actions they need to to take care of themselves (such as brushing hair/teeth, bathing, etc.). When it comes to receiving care, however, Hanekoma tends to be much more withdrawn and will often not even allow that to be an option. He has to be with someone he trusts deeply to let himself be cared for, or in a state in which he physically cannot refuse. Oftentimes the best way to care for him is simply by giving him reminders or making sure he’s done what’s necessary to care for himself (such as asking if he’s eaten that day, etc.). Even if he doesn’t physically need those things anymore, his body still remembers and reacts as if he does.

⚁ Hanekoma will care for anyone that he sees needs it, even if they aren’t necessarily open to it, as can easily be observed in his actions towards his elders. Even when Hanekoma is being actively pushed away, he often feels a compulsion to get involved with people he feels like need help and do everything in his power to ensure they get that care. It’s his way of finding purpose and meaning in his life, and without that ability he begins to ebb into existential crisis mode. Having a job in service to others is one way he mitigates this feeling on a daily basis and acceptable level, but it doesn’t stop him from trying to care for literally every person he passes by that seems to be in need.

⚂ This question bounces off of the last in that Hanekoma will absolutely do everything in his power to get involved when he sees someone in need. Even if he realizes he has to be coy about it, he’ll still try to sneak his way in to help. As someone who’s been left high and dry plenty of times before, Hanekoma is determined not to be someone that looks over a person in need of a helping hand. He wants to help others the same way he was helped before, even if that means being a nuisance.

Littles/LittleSpace : can be used, but is not suggested

littles / little space used to be a sfw term used to describe child alters within a osdd/d.i.d system. this term was taken by the nsfw community and adopted by the sfw community. if you were to tell someone you were a "little" they will assume it's sexual.

CGL/CGLRE : should never be used in sfw terms

cgl or cglre used to be a strictly sfw term do describe a CareGiver Little Relationship. these terms were taken by the nsfw community to identify sexual relationships with caregivers and littles

Age Regression : this is mostly safe to use

Age Regression is a term that even therapists and psychologists know! Age Regression is a sfw coping mechanism for those who need to relive a proper childhood due to trauma. This can also be referred to as a Inner Child, and the method being called Inner Child Healing. When Regressed, most people are in a true child state of mind, like having a child alter without being an alter, and just a Regressed version of yourself.

Though Age Regression is a sfw term, the nsfw community sometimes uses this term (but not as often as cgl) so you can separate it by using the term Sfw Age Regression.

Age Dreamer : this is basically as safe as you can get

The terms Age Dreamer or Age Dreaming means someone enjoys childlike things without actually regressing. instead they lightly pretend to be around the age they're dreaming about. instead of needing supervision or help cutting up foods, ect.

these dreamers are much more independent no matter where their age range falls. So far, we have personally never seen nsfw users use this tag before!

Please be aware that just because "sfw" is tacked onto a term, does not make it sfw- and here's why..

Sfw Kink does not exist. kink is a literal synonym for fetish, and a fetish is something (usually seen as taboo) used for sex. I will be listing a couple kink terms below so you can block / mute those who use them.

DDLG, DDLB, MDLG, MDLB, SFWDDLG, SFWMDLG,SFW CGL/RE or more commonly known as AGEPLAY — honestly there's more than this because the kink community does not know when to stop. Adding "sfw" onto these terms helps these people gain reach on platforms. "sfw kink" users often post suggestive but not nude content.

Sometimes they post sfw content, while also sexualizing the fact that it's sfw- A lot of "sfw kink" users make the account itself sfw, while sexualizing it off screen. This is where the term, "hiding behind age regression" comes into play.

What does DDLG and CLG mean??

DD/LG is "Daddy Dom/Little Girl". CG/L is "Caregiver/Little". Both of these are kinks involving one person pretending to be a small child and one person pretending to be their parent or caregiver (with CG/L being a more gender neutral term). DO NOT confuse with regular age regression, including age regression with someone in the role of caregiver. Those don't have kinks as part of it. Note that "CG/L" is kink based; "CGLRE" is just non-sexual age regression.

The thing is that a lot of these kink blogs reblogged content from kidcore, age regression, or really any mainly SFW blogs posting stuff from their childhoods, even when they made it clear that NSFW related blogs (especially any that sexualized childhood properties) made them uncomfortable interacting, and it was common a while back for said blogs to add kink-related comments, reblogs, and tags on the posts). I don't want to see my content be associated with kinks; this is a safe space for childhood nostalgia and just for being a Blue's Clues fan, and keeping it at that. Nothing wrong with being an adult and loving Blue's Clues, but please remember that first and foremost Blue's Clues is a show aimed at preschool children, and most of the characters are children.

And adding to this- I'm not anti-kink as a whole. Being asexual my main stance on most kinks are just "you do you; I'm just not interested" (though stuff involving ageplay like DD/LG does make me uncomfy). But this is a Blue's Clues blog and I just don't want that to be associated with kink blogs.

Ngl i was today years old to find out cglre was apart of the agere community. i thought it meant you were in a cgl kink dynamic and experienced involuntary medical age regression as a symptom from like bpd or ptsd. maybe i’m the only one who interpreted that way but either way, it looks like this is yet another term agere stole from the kink community. NSFW-centric blogs I strive to make this a minor-safe space and I don’t like my regression content being associated with nsfw content. Well-tagged and occasional nsfw content on your blog is fine, but I will block graphic or nsfw-focused blogs.

Kink blogs Regression and kink are two separate communities that must remain separate for the safety of underage regressors. I create regression-specific work and I do not like to be reblogged onto kink blogs or tagged with kink terminology. If you participate in kink as an adult, that is fine, but I do not want my work on kink-focused blogs.

LGBTQ+ Gatekeepers (ie. transmed, TERF, ace-exclusionary, etc.) I believe in an accepting queer community that does not police other people’s terminology or identities. If you are confused or unsure about whether you “believe” in a certain identity, that is okay, as long as you are not going out of your way to harass or invalidate those people.

Content Police/Pro-Censorship/Antis I do not believe that engaging with problematic media (ie. horror, problematic authors, unhealthy relationship dynamics) is inherently bad. If you believe that all people who engage with [fictional trope here] are evil, I prefer to avoid interaction. If you are simply squicked or triggered by certain content, I completely understand and support you, and encourage you to block tags to your comfort, and approach me if there’s anything on my blog you need tagged.

Encouraging Violence or Harm If you are anti-recovery for mental health, eating disorders, or self harm, please do not interact. If you vocally support capital punishment, please do not interact. If you have situations where you feel violence is justified, that is entirely valid. I just prefer blogs that post a lot about physical violence do not interact.

All sfw age regression communities are free to interact. I myself am a non-community regressor: I don’t identify as part of cglre because I don’t use parental terms for my caregivers, but I think it’s totally valid that other people find that comforting! I don’t usually interact with chire blogs because many don’t like cglre supporters interacting, but feel free to interact and request if you like!
